Since [Fuji] was born a girl, she must be disciplined. She must learn to obey my order. But what's with her? She keeps causing trouble and argues wit me unstoppably. What a useless daughter.

Jingjai is the problem between her dad and me. Her behavior is disgusting. She's a spoiled girl. She only spends time hanging out. She doesn't care what others say about the way she dresses. She doesn't have the qualities of a lady. Everything a sucky Thai woman does can be found in my daughter.

Pailert's family members mustn't care about others. We don't show mercy or sympathize with someone who isn't on the same level as us. But Nai doesn't understand this. Someone this stupid is not different from a trash.

Hugo doesn't deserve to be my son. He shouldn't have been my son. He doesn't deserve to use my surname. If I could choose, I would exchange Hugo's life with his brother's.

[Jean]'s ungrateful. He betrayed his own dad. He should have been thrown away and dead like a stray dog.

I want [Biw] my daughter to continue being a little 5-year-old girl. I don't want her to grow up. The more mature she turns, the more she knows about things.

Just watched the Homeschool special ep, and I gotta say there are 2 things that stick out to me the most:

1) Fuji and Jingjai, at their core, have the same values and share the same beliefs. Both grew up with shitty fathers who treated them like crap, and as a result they both have a strong mindset of "women are just as good as men, if not better" (which uk, as they should). The difference comes in with how they express this — Fuji believes in independence, being there for herself because no one else would be, and not depending on a man, ever. But for Jingjai, she believes that women should be able to do whatever they want, without judgement. Like Jamie said, she "views women as equals, and men as prey". She has no qualms in using men (or anyone else really) for her benefit. This is where the clash comes in. So what I'm predicting is that they'll have a big blowout about it, but at some point realise their similarities, and this would form the foundation of their friendship.

2) Biw, based on the backstories that have been shared so far, is the most mysterious, in terms of her reasons for ending up in Homeschool. She seems to be the only one who actually gets along well with her parents, so there is probably some underlying reason as to why they sent her away that we will find out in future eps. Her naive, optimistic attitude, and her lack of solid backstory rn, might make her seem less interesting than the other characters, but that is precisely why she's one of the characters I want to follow the most closely. I'm predicting that the reason will be revealed in a Biw focused episode, and we will finally get to see her SNAP, just unleash anger that she probably has pent up since being sent away from her father.

I do feel like half these kids should have known how badly going home would be but they're young and they want to believe that they're loved even even when they're not.

(Pennhung's mother loving him and trying to protect him is the highlight of the episode but seriously all of these children deserve so much better than their parents.)

All these children whose parents failed them entirely are now trapped in a place where it feels like their fault that they're not loved and have no choice but to go back to the one place they have anyone who cares... the cult.

The twins coming home to a broken place and Fuji coming to the same conclusion she already had and White losing everything and Pheng being ignored again and again... it's the same story that drives them into the arms of the masters who only torture them.

When you can't find love with the people who are supposed to love you, you'll seek it anywhere and everywhere and it won't matter if it's healthy or good for you or real. It'll just matter that you feel like you might belong.

I really love, actually, that neither Jingjai nor Hugo try to go home, not really. They just want to escape. I love these kids.

Me while watching Home School Episode 9:

1. So, is Master Dilak a former student who was successfully "re-programmed" (similar to what they did to Hugo, Jingjai, and Run)?

2. Well, Mek and Mork, I got news for you - Dad loves neither of you. He doesn't even love your Mom. Unfortunately, he is just a sh*tty parent with an overall sh*tty personality.

3. Oh, no. If locking the Fab FourTM (Maki, White, Nai, and Tibet) in detention is part of Master Champ's ploy to seed chaos with GEN6, I fear for my babies, Pennhung and Phleng. The rest, I could care less lol.

4. Why do I feel like the Headmaster (played by Cindy) would eventually go against Master Amin? I just can't figure out yet if she will switch sides to support the students or will she be a more nefarious villain? Maybe Master Amin is not as villainous as he seems to be 🤔🤔🤔

5. Mek and Mork asking the right questions: what kind of parents would send their kids to a school with no known curriculum and a million baht-per-term tuition?

6. Pennhung, my child, please also store other food groups. You need more than croissants to last this hellhole 😅

7. Oh gods. Hugo and Jingjai. I share Jean's reaction during the "fight" 😅😅😅 At least, they are still flirty with each other even though we still have no idea whatever the f— Master Amin did to them as punishment for coupling.

8. I might be riding the Fuji hate train, but gods damn. Girl knows how to end a fight lol. Sorry, Jean.

11. I'm starting to think Home School is either an unconventional juvenile centre or a freaking school for future assassins (judging by Run's abilities and his morbid past of killing their dad).

12. Sorry, but if the Fab Four had started kneeling before lunch all the way to sun down, how cold is that tea that the Head Master is sipping? Or did somebody replenish the hot tea (and pastries) all through the day? And with all that tea sipping, didn't she feel the need to pee? Just curious lol.

13. I'm dying to know what Master Dilak's deal is. Also, based on MDL, this series has 18 episodes (unless they got it wrong again like in Midnight Museum). So, the class planning their escape next episode is hardly the climax, but I do hope they start revealing the truth about Home School.

Home School episode 1-4

What I concluded so far is the school is using extreme methods to try and “mould and correct” whatever they deem are wrong with each of our 13 students…not that I agree with their methods but I guess that’s the point of the whole series

Also, these 13 students are either going to be best friends or kill each other (or the Masters) by the end of the semester:

So far - we have Pennhung and his 4 protectors - White, Maki, Tibet and Nai in a clique)…these group are my fav characters so far 🫣🫣🫣 . And I get the feeling that Nai has a crush on White while Tibet likes Maki? 🤷🏼‍♀️ (I may be reading into this too much!)

The twins (despite them fighting) being on their own group…Biw and Phleng (but this may be broken with the latter being a pathological liar)

While we have Jingjai, Hugo and Jean in another group (clearly used to throwing money to fix whatever problems they used to have).

And Fuji, fierce Fuji who is sullen and independent, clearly distrustful of all men (due to her misogynistic and adulterous father), currently is a loner. She gets along well enough with most of them but has her heart surrounded by a steel gate (I have a soft spot for her!!)

I’m looking forward to see how these series progresses 🧐

listing very sad and eye catching home school moments from ep 10. cuz I have nothing else to do (yes I'm lying)

mek and mork questioning their father. and that asshole of a father saying that their asshole of a mother didn't want their custody so he's burdened with it. AND MEK BREAKING DOWN IN TEARS because he thought at least his mum loves him so it definitely hit hard. and mork being there to comfort him

jean sitting beside the trash can and saying VERY calmly "dad called me trash. that's why I'm sitting here" like he's so used to it that it doesn't break him anymore when his dad tells that to him.

nai literally crying infront of his father and asking how could he do this to someone he loves and calls his family. and then his father saying nothing (tho I'm guessing that his father did say smthg and it was drowned with music creating a effect so we don't hear the words "I don't love you nai" or smthg like that)

fuji talking to her father and that asshole just- fuck that misogynistic dick tbh.

white punching her aunt. that's it.

pennhung being comforted by his mum who can't do anything to save him :(

biw seeing the note how it cursed her father and his family. and understanding the situation and walking out.

on ep.7 of home school rn and im like why does biw suddenly have a crush on nai, were there any signs, what was she doing this whole time- and it hit me. she was being besties with phlueng. when she was left with no close friend to spend time with, she got bored and chose a crush to occupy her time..not much different than jingjai's grand schemes of dating every guy in the school. which, as I'm writing this, makes me think biw probably got the idea from jingjai herself - only the two of them and fuji were present to the conversation and fuji was the only one with a big reaction of disapproval. feels like biw, on the other hand, found jingjai's philosophy inspiring in a way
