None of yall are the fic police. I DESPISE genai. I think its an insult to art, humanity, and the planet itself. But aint not a single fucking person here qualified to pick apart a strangers fic looking for a gotcha moment to make yourselves feel superior. If you think something is ai you can ask the author (most are proud of the ai use and will just tell you straight up) if they say yes you have your answer and can warn people. If they say no and you dont believe them you block and quietly keep it between you and maybe a close group of friends. Spreading misinformation is DANGEROUS. And NONE of you doing this shit are anywhere near qualified to do it.

before the thk beach ep I found it hard to know when kant was lying and when he wasn't to bison is that a me problem

seeing as kant still gets hate to this day and even more when the show was airing, i wouldn't say it's a sole you problem anon, but i was definitely not a me problem.

i can't remember who said this (it might have been liz @akkpipitphattana) but i remember reading someone's point saying that you can tell first is a good actor because he had to play kant who's very bad at lying. and to me that was always very clear. and it was clear to bison as well! he didn't trust kant for a very long time. he could tell there was something fishy going on with the hot tattooist, but just kept pushing that aside.

now, that it took you until the beach episode to realize that... i think you might have been way too angry at kant. to me (and to kant, too), he stopped trying to lie to bison (and to himself) as much as he could about his feelings from the northern lights in the bowling alley date and on. that "last" date they had was all about kant and bison living in a pocket dimension where things from outside didn't matter. kant kept trying to give bison outs to avoid letting him go on that "last" mission.

and then we also got the hospital scene! gods the hospital scene wasn't enough to tell you when he was being honest and when he was lying? that was kant pouring his heart and soul telling bison he wanted to be himself for bison.

i do admit it sounds like i'm trying to pick a fight, pls know i'm not. it's just shocking to me that people's perspectives change so much.
