This will include My Adventures with Superman episode 6 spoilers.
Why on earth is there so much discourse about maws? I feel like most of us are on the same side and are just misunderstanding each other. So now, I'm going to share my own thoughts on the topic.
For those who think that Lois had a sh*tty reaction to finding out Clark is Superman, I agree. She literally lied to him in the first episode about something that actually involved him, and could get him into trouble (or literally fired). Clark has every right to keep being Superman a secret, it doesn't involve her, and despite how quickly their relationship has progressed, he's still only known her for a month at most. As far as Clark is concerned, the only other people to know are his parents. Plus, he's still figuring things out himself, and it's not anybody's right to know something about him, especially when he still doesn't know the whole story yet.
For those of you who think Lois is a bad person for this reaction or that it is a mark of bad writing, I disagree. Characters need to have flaws, and they're not always going to understand others' point of views. It's actually really good writing for characters to have flaws, and this flaw is definitely not outweighing the good which is Lois Lane. And you know what? You can definitely be mad at her for her flaw. She did a bad thing, there's no reason why we shouldn't be mad. I can understand where she's coming from, and I still think she's a good person, but that doesn't mean what she did is right. She basically forced Clark to out himself, and that's not okay.
I don't love how the story line was handled in episode 6, because it was Clark who tried to apologize, and who had to explain himself at the end. It made it seem like Clark was somehow in the wrong, even if we were supposed to be sympathetic toward his situation. And Lois made me even more mad at her when she was pissed at Jimmy for not telling her that Clark was Superman, when it wasn't Jimmy's secret to tell. I also don't like how Clark was going to tell Jimmy he was Superman. It just felt like he was being pressured into it, and kept up the idea that what Clark was doing before was wrong, and now he is trying to course correct or something.
I do however love Jimmy knowing about Clark being Superman. I love that Jimmy is not an idiot, I love that he gave Clark all the space he could possibly need, waiting for Clark to tell him himself. I love that he just went along with their alarm clocks always being broken, and came up with an excuse for it, so Clark wouldn't have to.
Edit: Soooo... I don't like Lois. I didn't process at the time that she was forcing him to out himself as an immigrant. That's terrible. This is so much worse than just a basic flaw. And she has yet to truly respect his secret. So yeah, she's on my list (I don't even have a list, or know what it would be a list for, but she would be on it).

Ok yall, i've seen a lot of misinformation on who was the first *insert superhero here* so here are some common superheroes who passed on their mantle and in what order each character was this hero. This post is meant to be informative.
This post has Batgirl, Robin, Flamebird, and Flash.
BATGIRL
- Bette Kane was Batgirl for seven years (1961-1967) and she was THE original batgirl. (Yup! Barbara was not the first!)
- Barbara Gordon was the most iconic Batgirl and most depictions of Batgirl in animation/live action are her. She was Batgirl from 1967-1988. (There are most recent depictions of her as batgirl but she was officially retired by DC editorial in 1988)
- Helena Bertinelli was Batgirl during the No Man's Land arc which ran through most of 1999. It happened for less than one year so if you don't want to count her that's fine. This list is more for educational purposes.
- Cassandra Cain was Batgirl right after Helena Bertinelli near the end of No Man's Land in 1999. She stopped being Batgirl in 2009 and came back in late 2010 with her new alias Black Bat.
- Stephanie Brown was Batgirl from 2009 to 2011 when DC launched the New52 timeline where she was reverted back to Spoiler.
- Tiffany Fox was Batgirl in 2014 during the league of Batgirls arc.
ROBIN
- Dick Grayson was the original Robin, his first appearance was in 1940 and his last appearance as Robin was in 1984, he was Robin for 44 years.
- Lance Bruner was Robin during a 1969 run of The Brave And The Bold. He died as Robin.
- Jason Todd his first appearance as Robin was in 1983 and he officially took over the Robin mantle in 1984. He died in 1988, being Robin for only four years.
- Carrie Kelley was Robin in 1986 during a Batman comic run. She later adopted the Catgirl mantle. (Alternate universe)
- Tim Drake became Robin after Jason died, his first appearance was in 1989. He became Red Robin in 2009 but got put back into the Robin mantle in 2019, he currently fills in as Robin when Damian is out of town.
- Stephanie Brown was Robin for three months (71 days) in 2004. She was only in a few issues and got nerfed like right after.
- Damian Wayne has been Robin since 2009, and is currently holding the Robin Mantle.
FLAMEBIRD
- Jimmy Olsen was Flamebird Pre-crisis
- Bette Kane was Flamebird post-crisis
- Ak-Var was Flamebird for a little bit
- a Kryptonian hero was also called Flamebird
- Kara Zor-El was Flamebird for a tiny bit
- Lois Lane used the Flamebird alias once
(aka Bette Kane was the one to use the Flamebird alias the most but the alias itself is such a small role that i cant even tell you dates or anything...)
THE FLASH
- Jay Garrick is the original Flash, his first appearance was in 1940. (Timelines are always messed up when referring to Flash so I'm only gonna out their first appearance.)
- Barry Allen was Flash after Jay Garrick, his first appearance was in 1956
- Wally West was originally Kid Flash, but became The Flash after some timeline shenanigans with Barry. His first appearance was in 1960
- Ivana Christina Molotova was experimented on and gained speed powers. She was Lady Flash for a while (1987) but changed her alias shortly before her death.
- John Fox is a Flash from the future (27th century) that went back in time to ask Jay Garrick for help. His appearance was in 1990
- Jesse Quick was The Flash after Wally West was integrated with the speed force. She had the powers of Liberty Belle as well as a connection to the speed force. Her first appearance was in 1992
- Bart Allen was first Impulse and then Kid Flash, he became The Flash after Wally West's disappearance. His first appearance was 1994 (as Impulse)
- Avery Ho became The Flash during DC's Rebirth era. She joined the Justice League Of China and was one of the best Flashes with Bart Allen and Wally West. Her first appearance was in 2016.
__________
This is all for now, let me know if theres a superhero alias you want me to do <3

You Know, it's really sad that a lot of fans of superman only confront superman with others powerhouses like homelander or omniman, which is fine.
Power scaling popular icons can be fun.
But it's sad that nobody does weirder or more exotic matchups.
I totally could see a death battle with batman or even deathstroke vs usopp. (no ! Not usopp vs deadshot, deadshit sucks and usopp would eat him for breakfast.)
But the one match up that would be great to see, in theory at least, is superman vs the boys. (more the boys from the comic than the show)
And you might say "but kryptonite" and such.
No, the boys would win if they had the jump on him, but the interesting part would be :
For what reason would they kill him ?
That would be funny and/or interesting. Because butcher would search high and low, would most likely find out his secret identity and kidnap and interrogate pa and ma kent, jimmy olsen and lois lane just to get some dirt on clark kent and/or superman.
Only to find out or be told that the guy is the most squeaky clean and friendly fellas this side of the midwest.
He even would get upset if you kill a wasp in front because he respect life THIS MUCH.
Even when billy butcher confront lex luther for info, the guy just said "man, i WISH !"
And the rest of the boys watch as butcher goes into mentally spiraling down as he tries to convince, while wearing a tinfoil hat, his group that superman possess reality-bending powers which is how he manages to hide his misdeeds.
And the others are to trying to stop a raging billy armed with kryptonite brass knuckles from killing superman.
All while clark is saving a cat stuck in a tree.

DC: It's such an honor to have you on board with us after your years of iconic work with Marvel, Mr. Kirby!
Jack Kirby: Well, Marvel screwed me over, so here I am I guess.
DC: Of course! It's a tough market out there with shifting demographics, but you've always been able to bring new, fresh, and revolutionary ideas to the superhero genre so--
Jack Kirby: I'm turning Jimmy Olsen into the Hulk and none of you clowns are going to stop me.
DC: ...okay!

Ohh my God that Young blood foc was so sweet 🥺 but the realization that Taylor Lautner voiced young blood kinda knocked me out. This tv series never stops surprising me lol
Hahaha! Yeah... that hurt me too. 🥲 But Danny Phantom really does surprise you! I keep forgetting that voice actors take on different projects, so you won't think anything of it and then you find out Mr. Lancer (aka drag queen, cheerleader king) and Slade Wilson (aka Deathstroke, the Terminator) have the same voice actors. And Danny Fenton/Phantom and Jimmy Olsen are the same guy. And Mark Hamill, the Mark Hamill, voiced Undergrowth. Mark Hamill, who voices Ozai from Avatar: The Last Airbender. Mark Hamill, who voices the Joker and has the most iconic mad laughter for the character.
No, I will never be over this. lol

Okay a loose Recent Reads roundup:
Birds of Prey: Sirens of Justice: so I was lured (tricked) into reading this as Gail Simone wrote one of the stories, even though it, sigh, contains far too much Harley Quinn due to movie synergy. The Dinah and Helena banter is decent, but otherwise this felt...aggressively fine. The Helena story is very pat in terms of how people tend to write Huntress shorts, though I guess it wasn't 'Helena worries about a student' this time.
The Question: The Deaths of Vic Sage: very much in conversation with O'Neil's run, of course, and also clearly reacting to contemporaneous US racial discussions. Shifting Myra to be the Mayor's sister not wife definitely alters her position in the narrative, particularly in terms of her obligations and response to situations. It is incredibly bleak in places, but that simply reflects the run it is based on and is a tribute to.
Superman's Pal Jimmy Olsen: This is definitely for the Silver Age fan. Matt Fraction manages to string together solving a complex assassination plot over 12 issues by telling the story in short, 2-4 page sections that wildly jump around the timeline and are framed by 'the many ridiculous things that have happened to Jimmy Olsen'. I have absolutely no handle on the canonicity of some of this, particularly the extended Olsen family, and not knowing probably makes this read more easily. Looking at it as a whole, I'm impressed how well Fraction stitched what was effectively episodic 2 page fills into a complete narrative. The energy of the story is relentless. Best read in small doses.
Batman: Pennyworth R.I.P: god this comic could have been so much better than it was. It’s fine and accomplishes exactly what it was intended to do - tell a story of how Alfred influenced and looked out for each of Dick, Jason, Tim, Damian and Barbara - and sets everyone up to be mildly pissed at Bruce. But just for one example, it would have been HUGELY more powerful if they’d been able to use Dick, with his memories just restored, facing the fact he wasn’t there when Alfred needed him and his last interactions were so impersonal and spent pushing Alfred away.
Catwoman 80th Anniversary 100-Page Super Spectacular: again, underwhelming. Tom King played shipper and wrote his version of how the Helena Wayne story should work; the Dixon story felt 90s appropriate but the art was dire; Brubaker’s felt like a missing scene to his run; Dini’s honestly wasn’t up to the standard I’d hope for from Dini. The art pieces were great though; a lot of good commissions.
Robin 80th Anniversary 100-Page Super Spectacular: I cannot work out who chose the covers used in the issue, which swing between 'iconic' and 'reminding everyone ASBAR exists was unnecessary, DC'.
Generally: they did manage to round up fairly iconic lineups for most of the stories, with some chopping and changing for a few.
Wolfman got another run at trying to frame the 'Dick quits v Bruce fires him' debate; Dixon and Grayson both submitted literal fills (Dixon's is a scene immediately after Nightwing #19 1996 and before #20; Grayson's is at least just an extra story that fits into #1-12 of her Titans 1999 run on a day all the second stringers didn't come to work). I don't actually have a problem with any of these - they're nice additional material, but mostly more of the same. Seeley & King's suffers from the usual Seeley problem for me where it would be vastly improved by having a different focus; but it does feel straight out of his Grayson run, with everything that implies (down to the St Hadrian's student I wish was not present). All of the Dick stories are basically "we got the team back together" creative line ups.
Jason, in contrast, makes it really obvious that nobody can define a definitive Jason run, and so gets the tiniest story with Winick and Dustin Nguyen. I checked, and Nguyen did draw part of UTRH, but I wouldn't have associated him as a character-defining artist for Jason. The story's cute. Winick sidestepped having to commit to anything about his opinions on post-Flashpoint Jason direction.
Tim got Adam Beechen (which honestly makes me happy, I don't care about anyone else's opinion) and luxuriates in Tim having to play civilian; Tynion gets a Rebirth story that I can't quite work out his timing on (it's supposed to be a prequel, but Dick is already back in costume as Nightwing and talking to Tim, suggesting that several issues of the Rebirth Nightwing take place significantly before 'Tec #934) that is a classic 'Tim tells everyone how he feels about his brothers' story. I realise everyone boring has complained about Tim calling Damian a 'horrible gremlin' but the thing is you see I can only read nicknames like that as full of affection. The back and forth is an important part of their relationship, as shown by Damian snapping 'you're only listening to the insults'.
Steph gets her 71 days as Robin slightly padded out and Amy Wolfram manages to pick up Willingham's tone pretty well; I suspect she liaised with Damion Scott quite a bit on this piece.
Damian has a Super Sons piece from Tomasi, because it's the most lighthearted option available and it sells very well (it's sickly sweet). Which was probably the right call as the other piece is clearly written by Robbie Thompson to accompany his Teen Titans run and for the downward spiral going on there. Which is honestly a bit of a pity for Damian, given everyone else got feature pieces from favourite runs, and he got the 'this slots into your current story' piece.

Review of Season 1 of My adventures with Superman:
I just got done watching the season finale of "My Adventures with Superman." I really under-estimated this show when I saw the first teasers for it. I thought it would be a version of Superman for little kids. And though I think children can watch it, there is some very mature writing in this, the kind I haven't seen since Disney's Gargoyles. It's wholesome, well-written, and most importantly it FEELS like Superman. It's not the cynical deconstruction that Zack Snyder did with man of steel. This is the traditional boy scout version of superman, the sort of hero I'd missed. The art style resembles a Japanese anime but this show is actually American made. The movements of the characters are very fluid. There's a beauty to this animation. Superman's movements in flight are realistic and fluid. He appears like he's swimming. Some of the antagonists have changed origins and are redesigned but these don't detract from it at all. I love what they did with Jimmy Olsen, especially the nonchalant little twist they gave to his character at the end of the season finale. This is probably my favorite depiction of Jimmy Olsen in any Superman incarnation. I was relieved that the show allowed Lois (and Jimmy) to learn Clark's secret identity pretty early on (Jimmy actually figured it out first). It wasn't drawn out. I think everyone was tired of Lois not knowing Clark's secret decades ago. There is on-going story progression. And it's so wholesome, so hopeful and warm, it's strangely comforting. I hadn't seen a superhero show like this in a long time. Though I liked the mid-90s Superman animated series, this has fast become my favorite version of Superman. Neil Gaiman was right when he had said (over in Twitter when it was still Twitter) that Superman doesn't need to be changed for "modern audiences." You just need to let superman be superman in a modern setting. And that's what this show did and it works. No one is bored with the classic Superman when he is done right.
I'm not even that big of a fan of Superman (in general). But I an genuinely loving this show. It's so good.
I am not sure why Cartoon Network shows it during Adult Swim (It's adult content evening timeslot). It FEELS like a well-made version of Superman. And it's not overly mature with themes too intense for children. No, far from it. This is a GOOD version of Superman. It keeps you on your toes. The main characters like Clark, Lois, Ma and Pa Kent are all true to the cultural collective idea of who they are and yet the show is different enough that old school fans of Superman won't get bored. It'll keep you on your toes because it deviates just enough. Also people who aren't old school fans of superman should be able to follow it just fine. This cartoon was surprisingly good. And it deserves more attention. I dare say that this version of Superman has the potential to become as iconic as the 90s Batman the animated series.
