BACKSTORY:

FLIGHT SCHOOL

Captain Chase was classmates in flight training with Jimmy and Curly. She usually just minds her own business and has quite an unapproachable face but once people actually get to know her, she respects anyone until they start disrespecting her and other people; Enter Jimmy who plays the victim towards Curly every time.

Seeing the dynamic between the two, she always felt there's something wrong with how Jimmy treats Curly as a friend. She tried to tell Curly about it but he brushed it off.

HER CLIMB TOWARDS CAPTAIN

Curly was first to be in Pony Express and then a few years after he needed a replacement co-pilot and thought to get Chase in (and highkey hid the fact of how exploitative it was from her). Learning how exploitative Pony Express was towards its workers much like most of the companies on earth, she read the ins and outs of the contracts of each crew members and joined a Labor Union in Pony Express and eventually got voted to be a representative. She helped approved a few changes in PE that made working there a little bit more bearable.

CHIRON CREW

Not long after, Chase proved her leadership skills being on par with Curly and became a Captain the Freighter Ship "Chiron". Her crew regularly interacts with Tulpar due to her co-piloting with Curly before and help Anya be more comfortable when they all hang out on Earth.
