Kiss it Better - Jimmy Garoppolo (fluff)
Jimmy felt the bed shift as he lay there. It had been over a week since his foot surgery and it had been a hell of a time recovering from it. Once the anesthetic wore off and the initial pain medication given to him at the hospital, he was in agony.
He was thankful his fiance was a registered nurse who took time off to help him at home in his recovery, especially given how private he wanted to be in his recovery. It was bad enough the media was speculating his downfall with the Raiders before he even had a chance to step on the field.
He felt her lean down over him and press a kiss to his cheek. He pouted slightly, knowing it was time for him to get up and take his meds. The same meds that gave him a killer stomach ache the first few days on them - combined with the post-anaesthetic reaction he had. Thankfully, his fiance realized right away that he needed an anti-nausea pill to help him deal with adjusting.
“Baby, I got your medicine and a yogurt to take it with. Also, I made your breakfast. I’ll bring it up to you.”
He shifted and sat up with her support, wincing at the barest of moments sending pain down his leg and into his foot. He looked at the contraption his foot was in and wanted to cry at the sight of it. It fucking sucked.
It seemed like no matter how much time he put into playing and recovery, he was constantly getting injured. He heard and read the comments from fans, sports analysts, ‘journalists’, and even his former coaches at the 49ers. After the debacle last year with Shanahan insulting him, he couldn’t help but feel a pit in his stomach at the idea of his new head coach getting on his ass.
What started as a good relationship in the Bay turned sour at the end. His teammates supported him, and poor Lance was stuck in the middle of the shift, not having a say in replacing him. Then, Lance got injured and Purdy had to step in.
He remembered feeling many days of dread and disappointment when his foot got broken while playing. His fiance took time off - thankfully working at a practice that was supportive and friendly with the soon-to-be Mrs. and Mr. Garoppolo - and cared for him. His mother had flown down from Chicago as well to help out.
When all was said and done, he felt a mix of relief and sadness at leaving the 49ers organization. A place he considered his home and family the last few years. He made amazing friends and connections with so many. He even met his fiance while running a kids camp (she was there with her nephew).
Yet, as he laid in bed, observing his foot between bites of yogurt, he couldn’t help but want to cry. It was just fucked how his luck was these last few seasons.
His fiance came back in moments later, carrying a food tray with an assortment of delicious breakfast food. He could see a southern omelet, fresh sliced fruit, and bacon on it. Next to it was a large water bottle of iced water, filled up to the 8am line. ‘You should drink 8 8-ounce glasses of water a day. This water bottle will help you keep track.’ She told him once.
She was meticulous in her care and Jimmy knew she was also the type of nurse who would rip you a new one for not following instructions.
He was eating silently as she took a seat in bed next to him, her smoothie pull looking just as appetizing. He leaned over slightly and said, “Can I have a bite?”
She smiled at him and rolled her eyes playfully. “Don’t you have an entire plate of food in front of you, Jimmy?”
“Yeah, but yours look just as good.” He said back.
“Hmm..” She pretended to think about it before lifting a spoonful up to him. She brought it to his lips and just as he leaned in for a bite, she pulled the spoon back quickly and stuck it in her mouth instead, making a loud and exaggerated, “hmmmm” sound.
Jimmy stared at her in mock outrage, swatting her thigh, “That was cold, babe. Just cold and cruel.”
“It was tasty though.” She responded cheekily. She held up another spoonful, “Forreal this time, here, try a bite.”
He did so and just as he was taking a bite, he somehow managed to bite his lip when chewing up the berries. “Fuck… I bet my fucking lip.” He groaned, touching the spot and hoping it wasn’t bleeding. “How the fuck did I do that?”
His fiance giggled at him and responded, “Because you’re impatient. I swear, James..” She sat her bowl down on the nightstand next to her and gently crawled closer to him, taking his face in her hands and inspecting his lip. “It’s not too bad. Just a bit swollen and red. You’ll live.”
“It hurts,” He pouted.
“Want me to kiss it better?” She teased.
He pretended to think about it before nodding.
She giggled and leaned in to press her lips to his. “I love you, you silly manchild.”
“I love you too, my perfectionist soon-to-be wife.”
They looked at each other with big smiles, just happy to be with one another after the chaotic last few years they experienced. One thing Jimmy knew for certain, a kiss from her was a kiss that made everything better.

2/3 req: jimmy garoppolo - "i think i'm gonna fail this test-" "it's okay, you pass in my heart." "that means nothing." <- this is so fucking funny I cannot wait to see what you do with this
TO PASS OR TO FAIL
tagging vegas in the tags hurt a lot, but i hope he slays cause he deserves it, and if you disagree, argue with a wall cause idc.
10. "i think i'm gonna fail this test-" "it's okay, you pass in my heart." "that means nothing." (from this prompt list)
tw: mentions of throwing up (but no throwing up)
you were embarrassed to admit you didn't have your driver's license. you just didn't need it. you had friends who drove and jimmy drove, so you took advantage of that.
"i think i'm gonna throw up." you bent down, shoving your head between your knees and breathing.
"oh, come on, you're gonna do great! you've studied every book in the history of the dmv. you've taken all the tests, all the quizzes, and passed them all. you're gonna be fine." he reached over and gave your hand a reassuring squeeze.
"james, i think i'm gonna fail this test-"
"you're gonna be fine." he laughed at the use of his first name, "it's okay, you pass in my heart."
"that literally means nothing to me." you glared up at him.
"all right, shutting up now." he raised his hands in surrender and turned his attention back to the road.
he pulled into the dmv lot, and you felt your heart pick up, "i think i'm having a heart attack, is this what a heart attack feels like?" you put a hand to your chest, feeling your heart begin to beat erratically.
"you aren't having a heart attack," jimmy stated.
"how do you know that? have you had one?"
"no, but i'm pretty sure you wouldn't be able to talk as coherently as you are right now."
"fair enough." you nodded.
"look, you're gonna go in there, you're gonna wait in that ridiculously long line, and you are gonna take that test and pass it, then you're gonna walk out here and we're gonna go get some celebratory in-n -out."
"and if i don't pass?"
"then we'll go home without in-n-out." he shrugged.
"you're not helping." you pushed his shoulder and grabbed your paperwork before heading towards the front door.
"i love you!" he called out.
jimmy waited in the car for what felt like hours, but when you finally walked out, he perked up. you opened the door, not saying anything, "so? did you pass? did you fail?"
you looked up at him, an unreadable expression on your face before you broke out into a smile, "i passed!" you exclaimed.
"yes!" he jumped out of his seat and wrapped his arms around you in a big hug, "i knew you could do it!"
"well, you were an okay teacher." you joked.
"okay?! i was an amazing teacher! the best-"
"all right, whatever you say, now let's go get in-n-out."

There will still be rumors though, as the Rodgers stuff is fun to talk about. So with the Niners in a position to draft a top young quarterback and the Patriots now in a position to possibly re-acquire Garoppolo, two of the biggest potential suitors for Rodgers are out of the game. Bill Belichick getting back his prized Tom Brady replacement, though, seems to be just as appealing to the Patriots and is likely going to be much easier (and see also: practical) than putting any eggs into the Rodgers basket. Specifically, it puts a very attainable quarterback into the mix which is even better.Īfter the 49ers, the New England Patriots were a rumored landing spot for Rodgers. This puts another quarterback into the mix, which is very good news for Packers fans. “49ers now square in the QB mix, but are holding on to Jimmy Garoppolo and have no plans to trade him, per sources,” Schefter reported after the trade went through. The next big piece is the Jimmy Garoppolo element.Īccording to reports, the Niners aren’t planning on trading Jimmy G despite trading three first-rounders to move up and draft his replacement. Not only does Rodgers have deep personal ties with the 49ers, but the situation is absolutely ideal for him to fulfill his Super Bowl destiny.Īaron Rodgers in a Kyle Shanahan offense is how many sold the hiring of Matt LaFleur, so just imagine the real thing. Of the teams rumored to be landing spots for Rodgers, the Niners were the most worrisome. The biggest pillar to be smashed is in San Francisco. They still emerged as perhaps the biggest winners if for no other reason than it lends some clarity to the ongoing Aaron Rodgers rumors we can’t get enough of. Obviously, the Packers had nothing to do with the trades that went down on Friday. Green Bay Packers were biggest winners of 49ers-Dolphins trade The noise of Friday’s trade chaos also didn’t involve the Packers either, yet it helped provide some clarity - or peace of mind - for Packers fans hoping the Rodgers rumors get tuned out. Hilton, Will Fuller, JuJu Smith-Schuster, or any of the top receivers who hit the market and likely would have taken a discount to play a year with Rodgers. The fact that they seem so outrageous is only adding to the frustration fans feel every time they see something new about them pop up.įor what it’s worth, the Packers are doing themselves no favors in refusing to commit to Rodgers long term nor add win-now pieces to the offense.įree agency produced no additions to the offense outside of Aaron Jones returning. Packers fans would like nothing more than the Aaron Rodgers rumors to get off their lawn so they can enjoy some peace and quiet.īut the rumors aren’t going anywhere.
GREEN BAY PACKER NEWS MOVIE
Even Thanos, one of the most brutal villains in movie history, was motivated to murder billions of living creatures just so he could relax in his garden. Most movies revolve around that being the reward a character seeks. Despite not being involved in the 49ers-Dolphins-Eagles trade chaos, the Green Bay Packers came out the biggest winners.Īll we really want in life is a little peace and quite.

Was it Nothing to You? {Jimmy Garoppolo} Part I
AN: this is a repost/rewrite of a fic that I have on wattpad. I thought people on here might enjoy it as well so here it is 😌
Jimmy Garoppolo x fem!Reader
Summary: Being in love with someone who sees you only as a friend is never easy. But being in love with a friend that you sleep with on a regular basis was even harder.
That's something (Y/N) starts to realize as well when feelings for her friend Jimmy start to creep up on her. The problem: not only is Jimmy the famous starting Quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers but also someone who isn't really cut out for serious relationships. Will she tell him about her feelings or will she distance herself to protect herself from rejection and hurt?
Tumblr media
She should have known that it wasn't a good idea. To be honest, it had been one of the worst ideas they had in a long time. But she had accepted his offer without a second thought. Who could blame her tho? Jimmy and her were close and she believed it wouldn't take a toll on their friendship. And how could she possibly refuse the opportunity to hook up with one of the hottest NFL players on a regular basis?
He was everything a man should be in her eyes. He was caring and loving, but also someone you could joke around with. He was successful and did really well for himself. He was someone who could provide a good life for you. Not to mention his good looks. His face looked like those one of male models. His jawline sharp with cheeks full of scruff. His eyes a deep chocolate brown you could get yourself lost in. His whole body was carved by Greek gods so strong and powerful.
The suggestion came out of nowhere for her. She was okay with them being just friends. Of course she thought he was attractive but that was it. She would have never believed that she could have the opportunity to sleep with him. Not just because they were only good friends but also because she just wasn't his type. Not that she was not pretty by any means, no, just because she wasn't what society considered the beauty standard. Guys like him would never go for girls like her. But she had also seen the girls Jimmy had gone home with from clubs and went on dates with. They were all skinny, so gorgeous and absolute unlike her. Most of them were the complete opposite to her and as much as she hated it, she couldn't help but compare herself to those women. She almost wanted to laugh. Jimmy Garoppolo wanted to hook up with her? It had to be a joke.
But he wasn't joking. Not at all. His expression was as serious as it could get. He was really asking her to hook up with him. And  even though she knew deep down this would stirr up something unwanted, she agreed. A couple of seconds of silence arose between the two of them. It wasn't awkward by any means but rather filled with some kind of electricity. And when Jimmy closed the space between them and pressed his lips onto hers for the first time that electricity felt like dozens of fireworks going off at the same time. Their hands explored each other's bodies as (Y/N) deepened the kiss that got more passionate by the second. They unconsciously agreed on one thing: their clothes needed to come off as soon as possible. While making their way to (Y/N)'s bedroom, more searching around for the right way because neither of them wanted to break the kiss,  they started to pull each other's clothes off. His shirt first, followed by her hoodie before they fell on her bed, the rest of their clothes becoming less and less.
Their first time was filled with passion as both forgot where they ended and the other began. Pure, hot pleasure ran through their veins and nerves as only the sounds of their breaths, moans and skin on skin were audible. It was amazing. And (Y/N) had to admit. He was the best she ever had. Unlike her other boyfriends and hook ups he focused on her and her needs, making her reach her high not only once, but twice. She was absolutely spent and from the rapid beating of his heart and heavy breathing Jimmy was too.
(Y/N) would have expected him to get out of bed after they were done but the opposite was the case. Jimmy pulled her close and wrapped his arms around her waist. Her head rested on his chest so she got lulled to sleep by his heartbeat and his hands drawing circles on the skin of her waist.
On this night neither of them knew the chaos that would soon arise because of their agreement. On this night both of them were just glad to have someone lying next to them, keeping them company.

89 with jimmy garoppolo 😊
89. “You’re the best part of me.”
Callie was sure her daddy didn’t love her. She might only be three, but she knew it. Daddy always left for a couple days or even weeks! If daddy loved her why would he leave all the time.
“Hey Callie bear. Wanna cupcake?” You smiled down at your daughter, who was carrying her coloring stuff around.
“Sure.” She perked up. You placed her on once of the stools before placing a cupcake in front of her.
“So what’s up?” You asked once she dug in to the sweet treat. “Shouldn’t you be happy. Daddy’s coming home.”
“No.”
“No? Why not?”
“Daddy doesn’t love me.” She said before slipping off the stool. “Thank you for the cupcake mommy.”
“Hold up!” You said picking the little girl up. You placed her on the counter so she couldn’t leave. “What does that mean? Daddy loves you very much.”
“If he loves me why does he leave all the time?” She asked.
“He has to leave for work. I promise you, he doesn’t want to leave you.” You smiled.
“Baby, you’re the best part of me.” Jimmy’s voice said. You both jumped a bit, but soon replaced with a smile.
“I am!” Callie perked up a little.
“You are! I love you so much Callie bear.” Jimmy smiled as he picked his daughter up. “Daddy hates that he has to leave you all the time, but I have to make money so mommy can make these wonderful cupcakes.” Jimmy smiled, sending you a wink, before picking one of the small cakes up.
“They are good.” Callie said taking a bite of her daddy’s cupcake.

Maybe a Jimmy G imagine where she makes fun of his pornstar date
God I love this request so fucking much! I’m going to have so much fun with this.
This turned out more fluff than [Y/N] making fun of Jimmy.
“Hey babe!” I yell to Jimmy as he finishes brushing his teeth in the bathroom. “I know we said we weren’t going to dig into each other’s past relationships but you have some serious explaining to do!”
Jimmy peeks his head out the bathroom door. Toothpaste foaming and spilling out of his mouth and his eyes are as wide as saucers. “What are you talking about?”
I get out of bed and walk over to him, showing him a picture of Kiara Mia and himself at a restaurant. Kiara Mia isn’t just an ordinary model or movie star...she’s a pornstar. “I don’t know whether to be insecure or laugh at you. Because seriously, this is the most stereotypical jock thing to do.”
“Are you jealous?” He asks, spitting a little bit of the toothpaste out as he speaks. “[Y/N] I never thought of you to be the jealous type.” He states before walking back into the bathroom.
“Who said anything about being jealous?” I laugh as I follow him into the bathroom. “So are we going to talk about that? Like how was she? Or are you the “don’t kiss and tell” type?”
“Who said anything about us having sex?” He asks after spitting out the toothpaste in his mouth. “It was just dinner.”
“You don’t just have dinner with one of the most known pornstars in the bizz.” I roll my eyes as I watch my boyfriend rinse out his mouth. “But seriously, a pornstar? A pornstar in her 40’s? You couldn’t get an instagram model to blow you?” I can see his face redden in the mirror. “So she did do something, huh?”
“Can we please not talk about his [Y/N]?” Jimmy begs as he pinches the bridge of his nose. “I didn’t want you to find out about this?”
“Because I’d get insecure and doubt myself?”
“Most girls would.” He replies. I just smile before walking up to him and wrapping my arms around his neck, pulling him even closer to me.
I look up at him and smile. “I’m not most girls, or need I have to remind you?”
“You’re not mad?”
“I’m mad that you didn’t tell me sooner.” I assure him. “Because if I knew about this sooner, I’d have so many more jokes about you fucking a pornstar and being a football player.”
“What kind of jokes?”
“A lot of mentions of touchdowns and end zones.” I shrug, stifling a yawn. “But my brain is too tired to tell you these jokes. Maybe tomorrow?”
You’re seriously not mad?”
“We all have a past. Your past just involves scoring a touchdown with a pornstar.” Jimmy laughs. “Come to bed, Casanova before the jokes keep rolling.” I part from him and grab his head, leading him to bed. He’s going to need a ton of rest. Tomorrow George Kittle is coming over and I know he’ll help me bust Jimmy’s ass...

2021 Mock Draft 1.0
Tumblr media
Super Bowl 55 is just a few days away, which means draft season is looming in the rearview mirror. In a class that is expected to produce an abundance of offensive talent, several teams could benefit from this year’s crop. With a reported possibility of 18 teams looking for a change at the quarterback position, there is quite a bit of ambiguity as we approach the draft, and this year could shape up to be one of the wildest drafts we’ve seen in recent memory. Without further ado, here are my early first round predictions for the 2021 NFL draft....
1. Jacksonville Jaguars: Trevor Lawrence, QB, Clemson
From the moment he set foot on campus his freshman season, Lawrence has always has shown the capabilities of being a future NFL star. He took no time bursting onto the scene. After a dazzling freshman season, in which he lead the Tigers to a title in blowout fashion over an absolutely loaded Alabama team, he followed it up with two more trips to the playoffs, including another trip to the title game.
The former No.1 overall recruit in the country offers everything one could wish for in a franchise quarterback.  He is a gifted, natural thrower of the football who is wise beyond his years at the position. Even new head coach Urban Meyer feels that he has the potential to be the best QB ever. Jaguars fans, your savior has come. Rejoice.
2. Houston Texans: Zach Wilson, QB, BYU
Houston receives: 2nd overall pick (2021), 23rd overall pick (2021), 3rd round pick (2021), 1st round pick (2022), 4th round pick (2022)
New York receives: Deshaun Watson, 6th round pick (2022)
Let’s get weird. Deshaun Watson being traded has reached inevitability status, and the Jets are stockpiled with draft picks over the next few years. It has been rumored that Watson would prefer to play for the Jets under the tutelage of new head coach Robert Saleh. The Jets have the firepower to make this pick happen, and in this scenario they pull off the mega deal and get their guy. So where does that leave Houston?
They luck into a talented, natural thrower of the football, with a very clean feel for the pocket. He has a rocket arm, and is particularly impressive when asked to go off script. The Texans rebuild will undoubtedly be a long one, but with Wilson, they have a fresh face of the franchise moving forward, and will look to continue adding more weapons around him to set him up for success.
3. San Francisco 49ers: Justin Fields, QB, Ohio State
San Francisco receives: 3rd overall pick (2021), 5th round pick (2022)
Miami receives: 12th overall pick (2021), 43rd overall pick (2021), 1st round pick (2022), 3rd round pick (2022), 7th round pick (2022)
Between the Rams’ recent trade for Matthew Stafford, and Kyle Shanahan remaining noncommittal on Jimmy Garoppolo for the foreseeable future, it wouldn’t shock me to see John Lynch be aggressive and try to nab their QB of the future.
Fields put up gaudy numbers in his first year as a starter, posting an absurd 51-3 TD/INT ratio. He showed a bit of regression in a COVID-shortened year two, but still displayed all of the tools you’d hope to see when searching for a franchise QB.
Finding a way to get Jimmy G’s lucrative contract off the books, and adding a talented player like Fields would be a win-win for an organization whom I feel would GREATLY benefit from a changing of the guard under center.
4. Atlanta Falcons: Trey Lance, QB, North Dakota State
With the arrival of new head coach Arthur Smith, it is time for a rebrand in Atlanta. Matt Ryan is expected to make over $40m a season for the next two years, and while he is certainly not the main issue with this team, the Falcons need to move in a new direction.
Lance is perhaps the most polarizing player in this year’s class. Similar to Fields, he too posted video game like numbers in his first year at the helm. The Minnesota product threw for 28 TD’s, while posting another 14 on the ground. He also didn’t throw an interception all season. He possess all of the physical tools that NFL teams salivate over, and while questions will remain in regards to the inferior competition he’s been exposed to over his career, the opportunity to sit and learn from Matt Ryan could serve both himself and the Falcons some good.
5. Cincinnati Bengals: Penei Sewell, OT, Oregon
If Sewell is on the board, he will be the pick for the Bengals. After breakout rookie quarterback Joe Burrow suffered a season-ending ACL tear, the sense of urgency to upgrade the offensive line should be at an all-time high for the Bengals.
Sewell allowed just one sack over 1,376 career snaps and will spend the majority of his rookie season at age 20. He is a smooth mover with easy power, who is capable of playing on either side of the line. He is the exact type of stalwart that is needed for the Bengals to protect their QB of the future.
6. Philadelphia Eagles: DeVonta Smith, WR, Alabama
I don’t know what to make of the Eagles’ current situation. They are in QB purgatory and have gaping holes riddled across their roster. With the recent hiring of Colts’ OC Nick Sirianni, I’d imagine adding offensive firepower would be at the top of his to-do list. Assuming they move forward with Jalen Hurts at QB, it is imperative to surround him with quality skill players. After drafting Jalen Reagor in the first round last year, they double dip this year and take the reigning Heisman Trophy winner.
Smith is not the most conventional receiver, being that there aren’t too many 6′1, 175-lb receivers who have enjoyed prolonged success in the league, but Smith doesn’t care about your player profiles. Smith can make plays all over the field and beat you in a myriad of ways. He is a nuanced route runner with a seemingly natural feel for his position, and someone I can assume Sirianni will fall in love with as the draft process begins to heat up.
7. Detroit Lions: Jaylen Waddle, WR, Alabama
If Lance were to have fallen to this spot, I’d have probably made him the selection. However, I’ll opt to give them a difference maker like Waddle.
With Kenny Golladay’s impending departure and both Danny Amendola and Marvin Jones Jr. testing the open market, that WR room could get UGLY in a hurry. Waddle is essentially a supercharged version of his former teammate Henry Ruggs. He has legit 4.2 speed, and does a great job of tracking the deep ball. The Lions are desperate for speed on the perimeter, and Waddle would be an instant upgrade to what they have now. He’s a true, top-10 talent assuming he manages to stay healthy.
8. Carolina Panthers: Ja’marr Chase, WR, LSU
Now just hear me out on this. Curtis Samuel is approaching free agency and will likely be headed elsewhere. Aside from DJ Moore and Robby Anderson, the cupboard is bare. Chase put up record-setting numbers in his only year under current Panthers OC Joe Brady when they were at LSU, so a reunion would only be right.
Chase is perhaps the best player in the entire class regardless of position. He is a physical route-runner who attacks the catch point with ease, and his RAC ability might be his best trait. He is very reminiscent of Moore, and pairing those two along with Anderson’s deep speed could perhaps create the most dangerous receiving trio in the NFL.
9. Denver Broncos: Caleb Farley, CB, Virginia Tech
After an heavy offensive draft last year, the Broncos buck the trend and refocus on rebuilding their defense. Farley’s size and athleticism are a perfect fit in Vic Fangio’s versatile defensive scheme. I believe Farley has the potential to be a star in this league very quickly.
10. Dallas Cowboys: Rashawn Slater, OT, Northwestern
After wrestling back and forth with myself on this pick, the Cowboys settle on Slater. The once elite Cowboys offensive line has suddenly deteriorated into mediocrity. With both Tyron Smith and La’el Collins returning from injuries, Slater can serve as an insurance policy at either position, or kick him inside if need be.
His versatility and strong lower half are both commendable traits that should allow him to see a long career in the NFL.
11. New York Giants: Patrick Surtain II, CB, Alabama
Truthfully, this might be the most unpredictable pick in the first round. Dave Gettleman is tricky, but recently he has invested into the secondary quite a bit. After signing James Bradberry to a pricy extension last off-season, they also invested a pick into Xavier McKinney, as well as the addition of guys like Logan Ryan and Jabrill Peppers.
With Surtain, he brings a combo of length and savvy to the position, and would serve as the Giants’ other outside corner opposite of Bradberry.
12. Miami Dolphins: Kyle Pitts, TE, Florida
San Francisco receives: 3rd overall pick (2021), 5th round pick (2022)
Miami receives: 12th overall pick (2021), 43rd overall pick (2021), 1st round pick (2022), 3rd round pick (2022), 7th round pick (2022)
Yes, I’m highly aware that Mike Gesicki exists. But hear me out on this one, Pitts is more than just your standard “tight end” prospect. If it weren’t for a TE listed next to his position, I’d say that he’s the second best receiver in the draft.
He is nearly impossible to match up against. He’s too fast for linebackers and too physical for corners. He’s shown the capability to play in the slot, flexed out wide, or with his hand in the dirt. Pairing him and Gesicki together will give Tua Tagovailoa (assuming he remains their guy moving forward), a plethora of weapons at his disposal.
13. Los Angeles Chargers: Christian Darrisaw, OT, Virginia Tech
Keeping Justin Herbert clean and protected should be the top priority heading into the offseason for Tom Telesco. After a breakout rookie season, it seems the Chargers struck a goldmine in Herbert. Being that the Chargers haven’t had a decent offensive line in years, a trip out west would make sense for Darrisaw.
The Virginia Tech product is a very fluid mover, whose length and quickness allow him to reach the second level with ease as a run blocker. He will be an instant upgrade to their run game, and has the maturity to protect Herbert’s blindside from day one in LA.
14. Minnesota Vikings: Gregory Rousseau, EDGE, Miami
After the loss of Everson Griffen to free agency, and Danielle Hunter missing most of the 2020 season due to a back injury, the Vikings should be looking to rebuild their pass rush. Mike Zimmer seems to have a knack for high-ceiling pass rushers with athletic upside. Rousseau fits the bill.
The Florida native saw his star shine after a dazzling sophomore season, racking up an impressive 15.5 sacks. Rousseau has easy power off the edge. While he is still a bit raw from a technician standpoint, his natural power and length will be a nightmare for tackles to deal with from day one. If he can mature his game, he has the potential to be one of the most productive edge rushers in the league in due time.
15. New England Patriots: Micah Parsons, EDGE, Penn State
After some recent concerns over Parsons’ character, he sees his stock slide and he falls into the lap of Bill Belichick. After being used in several different spots at Penn State,
Parsons projects best as an EDGE, but has the necessary tools to develop his skills over time. Belichick has a fetish for hybrid linebackers that can rush the passer, and pairing the two together would do wonders for his development over time.
16. Arizona Cardinals: Jaycee Horn, CB, South Carolina
After adding Matthew Stafford to the division, and the Niners looking to upgrade at the quarterback position, it is time for the Cardinals to get better in the secondary. Quickly.
Horn is an excellent press corner, with an alpha-dog type mentality that should fit in well in the Cardinals’ back end. He does have a tendency to be too grabby and aggressive at times, and his lack of size will hurt him against bigger receivers. He is not a perfect corner prospect, but the Cardinals don’t have much of a choice here.
17. Las Vegas Raiders: Jaelan Phillips, EDGE, Miami
Truthfully, I have no idea what to predict here. The front office is an absolute mess, and have proven themselves to be incompetent when it comes to drafting. After missing badly on Clelin Ferrell a few years ago, they have a chance to redeem themselves with the selection of Phillips.
The former number one overall recruit had a late start to his career, after suffering several injuries and at one point declaring himself medically retired. After transferring to Miami from UCLA, Phillips began to improve his game, and vaulted himself into first round considerations after a breakout 2020 campaign. His injury history may force him to fall, but his combination of size, speed, and motor is very exciting, and he may be the exact type of player Mike Mayock falls in love with.
18. Miami Dolphins: Zaven Collins, LB, Tulsa
Brian Flores is one of the few Belichick proteges recently that has found success as a head coach. Much like Belichick, Flores places a large emphasis on versatility, particularly on the defensive side of the ball. This is why Collins would be a perfect fit on day one.
Collins was truly a jack-of-all-trades in his time at Tulsa. He was one of the best players in all of college football last season, and did so in a number of ways. He can rush the passer, cover a runningback out of the backfield. Think D’onta Hightower type role for Collins if he were to head to south beach.
19. Washington Football Team: Mac Jones, QB, Alabama
With the trend in the NFL heading towards a youth movement at QB, it wouldn’t shock me to see Washington fall in love with Jones.
Although he’s not the most dynamic passer, Jones is a solid athlete with an incredibly comfortable feel for the game. He is a great processor with plus accuracy, and has shown impressive flashes of improvisation. He may not have a very high ceiling moving forward, but I can him instantly making that team better and elevating them into playoff contention on a year-to-year basis.
20. Chicago Bears: Rashod Bateman, WR, Minnesota
With Allen Robinson likely headed elsewhere in free agency and Anthony Miller’s slow start, the time is now to add playmakers on the offensive side of the ball. Insert Bateman.
One of the most forgotten men in the whole class, Bateman is silky smooth in everything he does, and will be the most physical WR on any field he steps on. He eats up intermediate routes, and is capable of being a vertical threat. His game reminds me a ton of guys like Keenan Allen and Michael Thomas, not the most physically gifted guys, but masters of their craft and play to their strengths.
Whether or not the Bears decide to move forward with Mitchell Trubisky at QB or not, it is imperative to give the man under center some more feasible options to work with in the passing game.
21. Indianapolis Colts: Kwity Paye, EDGE, Michigan
While the temptation was high to take a receiver here, I opted for the highly athletic EDGE with limitless upside.
Not having a combine will prove to affect Paye’s stock, as he was expected to test through the roof at his position. Once listed as one of Bruce Feldman’s “freaks”, Paye finally applied his athleticism to the field in 2020. He is very reliant on his natural power and speed, and has yet to develop any consistent counter moves. If developed properly, his size/speed combo alongside Deforest Buckner could prove to be deadly for an already improving defense.
22. Tennessee Titans: Azeez Ojulari, EDGE, Georgia
Being that the Jadeveon Clowney acquisition backfired on them, the Titans are still in search of a consistent pass rush opposite of Harold Landry.
Ojulari is young and lacks experience. But when his motor gets going, he could be the most explosive rusher in the class. He’d be perfect in their 3-4 defense, and has the potential to be a good player in space as he gains more experience.
23. New York Jets: Joseph Ossai, EDGE, Texas
One of the staples of a Robert Saleh defense is consistent pressure off the edge. The Jets lack any and all types of pass rush at the moment, and Ossai’s intriguing upside in that defense could see him turn out to be a very productive player.
24. Pittsburgh Steelers: Liam Eichenberg, OT, Notre Dame
Man, Notre Dame just pumps them out, don’t they? With GM Kevin Colbert’s affinity for drafting players from big name schools, Eichenberg becomes the most recent, NFL product of the offensive line factory that is Notre Dame.
Much like any of the Notre Dame linemen of the past, Eichenberg is techincally sound in everything he does. He may not be athletic enough to play left tackle, but is a plug and play right tackle from day one.
25. Jacksonville Jaguars: Samuel Cosmi, OT, Texas
Although the temptation would be to select a receiver here, the Jags have $100m in cap space to work with, which can be spent on one of the receivers in what is expected to be an impressive free agency class.
Cosmi may be a little undersized, but is very athletic and light on his feet for the position. If he can bulk up and maintain his athleticism, I can see him being the Jaguars’ left tackle for the next decade.
26. Cleveland Browns: Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, LB, Notre Dame
A surprising slide leaves Cleveland with one of the most gifted players in the draft.
JOK is a heat-seeking missile, who showed very impressive flashes in coverage. He is the prototypical, modern-day NFL linebacker through and through.
27. Baltimore Ravens: Kadarius Toney, WR, Florida
Eric Decosta recently hinted at his lust for the dynamic Florida receiver. Toney was used in several different ways over the course of his career, but really seemed to find himself as a slot receiver in 2020.
On a team desperate for playmakers on offense, Toney would fit like a glove on that intermediate/short game offensive scheme. Toney is a menace with the ball in his hands. He has incredible contact balance and vision. If he continues to progress as a receiver, he would be a very nice addition.
28. New Orleans Saints: Christian Barmore, IDL, Alabama
In what looks to be a fairly uninspiring IDL class, Barmore’s stock rose in his first season as a starter. The Philly native has clubs for hands, and he proved himself to be un-blockable down the stretch. Ohio State had no answer for him in the national championship game, and he seems to only be sratching the surface of what he can become.
In this case, the Saints don’t reach for a QB and draft the best player on the board, which just so happens to be Barmore.
29. Green Bay Packers: Dyami Brown, WR, North Carolina
The Packers failure to address the receiver position came full circle this season. After losing their second consecutive NFC Championship, the lack of talent at WR cost them in the end. Enter Dyami Brown, one of the best kept secrets in the entire draft.
Brown is a budding star. Only listed at 6′1, 185-lb, Brown consistently plays larger than his frame. He is perhaps the best vertical threat in the entire draft. Brown displays freakish ball tracking skills, along with 4.3 speed. Pairing him with Rodgers could be the missing piece that gets them over the hump moving forward, and would show that the organization is dedicated to Rodgers as their guy until he retires.
30. Buffalo Bills: Nick Bolton, LB, Missouri
With Matt Milano’s future with the Bills in question, it would not surprise me to see them cut bait and go after the athletic and physical SEC backer.
Bolton is a bit undersized for the position, so pairing him with Tremaine Edmunds would be the perfect complement. He great sideline to sideline speed, and will be an immediate upgrade over Milano from an athletic standpoint.
31. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Alex Leatherwood, OT, Alabama
With Donovan Smith set to become a free agent, I’d imagine the Bucs will look to replace him this off-season.
Leatherwood was a two-year starter at left tackle, but is capable of playing on the interior as well. Even if the Bucs were to bring Smith back, having a depth piece to the quality of Leatherwood could serve vital for a team who is destined ti make a run until Tom Brady’s retirement.
32. Kansas City Chiefs: Alijah Vera-Tucker, iOL, USC
An interesting storyline that has gotten lost in the mix of guys like Patrick Mahomes, Tyreek Hill, and Travis Kelce, the Chiefs have battled several injuries along the offensive line. They’re likely to play 3-4 backups in the Super Bowl this Sunday.
Although the production remains elite and ultimately the deteriorating health on the line hasn’t bitten them yet, it is not a sustainable way to move forward.
Vera-Tucker is a highly refined player, who has experience playing at any spot on the line. Much like the Bucs, adding quality depth and talent among the offensive line to protect your franchise should never be a move that is scrutinized.

RTARL’s 2020 NFL Season Week 6 Extravapalooza
Tumblr media
This week’s slate of early games....is not good. If ever there were a day to forgo NFL football and attend to some neglected tasks around the house, catch up on some paperwork for the office, or even spend some time with family, today is that day. OR maybe just drink more than usual to make the football appear more attractive than it is. Both paths are healthy and good.
My picks are in BOLD, and the lines come to us courtesy of our friends at Vegas Insider. I use the “VI Consensus” line, which is the line that occurs most frequently across Vegas Insider’s list of sportsbooks. Your sportsbook of choice may offer a different number, and if you’d like my opinion on said number A) you are insane, and B) leave a comment below and I’ll try to answer at some point before things kickoff today.
Tumblr media
EARLY GAMES
Houston Texans at Tennessee Titans (-3.5)
Like everyone else, I was GREATLY amused by Derrick Henry leaving a chalk outline of Josh Norman on the field via stiffarm in the Titans’ win over Buffalo on Tuesday. That said, Derrick Henry isn’t having a great season thus far. He’s averaging a career-low 3.7 yards per carry (down from 5.1 last year and 4.9 the year prior). His drop in efficiency has been masked by an increase in attempts (25 per game this year, 20 per game last year). His longest run so far this season is a measly 16 yards. Is he already wearing down? Is this just small sample noise? I dunno, but I don’t feel super great about his prospects today despite the great matchup, considering that he just had 20 touches against the Bills on Tuesday night.
Cincinnati Bengals at Indianapolis Colts (-7.5)
I really don’t have much to say about this game. I’m rooting for Joe Burrow like always, but this Indy defense is nasty and he’s still a rookie. Could be a rough one for him, but don’t worry I still think he’s the coolest and wish more than anything that he’d start smoking cigarettes on the sideline.
Atlanta Falcons at Minnesota Vikings (-4)
We’re long past the point where I need to accept that my faith in the Falcons was misguided, and yet here I am, picking them to cover once more. Gotta capitalize on that dead Dan Quinn bounce, baby! At least this time they’re squaring off against another squad of top-shelf bed-shitters in the Minnesota Vikings. Each of these teams have already sustained multiple heartbreaking losses already this season, with the Vikings somehow picking up two one-point Ls in their last three games. I’m genuinely impressed by the ability of these franchises to rip the hearts out of their own fanbases. Even when they blow games in ways they’ve blown them many times before, they still somehow manage to make it feel fresh. That’s not easy.
Denver Broncos at New England Patriots (-8)
As of now it looks like Denver QB Drew Lock will be back for this game, which is nice. He’s going to be without RB Melvin Gordon and TE Noah Fant, which isn’t so nice. After what felt like an eternity, but was really only one game, New England is getting QB Cam Newton back after his asymptomatic bout with COVID-19. Hallelujah!
Honestly, I don’t have a clue what to expect in this game. The Broncos haven’t played since October 1st, and the Patriots have had their facilities closed multiple times over the last couple of weeks, so practice has been sparse. I’m gonna go ahead and assume this one will be kind of ugly for both teams and I’m tempted to take the eight points. That said, I think Denver is really going to struggle to score, so fuck it I’ll make the homer pick.
Washington Football Team at New York Giants (-2.5)
Tumblr media
Baltimore Ravens (-9.5) at Philadelphia Eagles
Eagles QB Carson Wentz is a broken man, his offensive line is in shambles, his favorite target (TE Zach Ertz) is either completely washed or isn’t trying due to contractual unhappiness, his #1 WR today is a 2019 6th round pick named Travis Fulghum, and he gets to face a Ravens D that ranks in the top 5 in EPA (Expected Points Added) against both the pass and the run and that blitzes at the second highest rate in the league. He’s gonna have a bad time. Luckily, fans will be allowed inside Philadelphia’s stadium for the first time this season, so he’ll at least have kind words of support from the stands to keep him going.
Cleveland Browns at Pittsburgh Steelers (-3.5)
This is a tough matchup for Browns QB Baker Mayfield. He’s struggled with accuracy all season, and I can’t imagine having injured ribs is going to help him zip the ball where he wants to, especially after he gets hit a few times by the very good Pittsburgh pass-rushers. My #1 hope for this game is a bench-clearing brawl, preferably after Myles Garrett levels Ben Roethlisberger and then taunts the hell out of him.
Chicago Bears at Carolina Panthers (-1)
It’s time for me to admit that I was wrong in my belittling of Panthers QB Teddy Bridgewater and the rest of the Carolina offense. They’ve been sharp as hell, and there’s been hardly any drop-off at all going from injured All-Pro RB Christian McCaffery to journeyman backup Mike Davis. Add WR Robby Anderson to the growing list of players who have IMMEDIATELY flourished after escaping the vortex of incompetence constantly swirling around incredible dipshit Adam Gase.
Detroit Lions (-3) at Jacksonville Jaguars
BIG CAT BATTLE! In a fight between Lions and Jaguars, it really comes down to terrain. Lions are bigger and stronger, and if this confrontation were out in the grasslands they’d have a decided edge. However, this contest takes place on the turf of the Jaguars, where they’ll be able to use their agility and climbing skills to their advantage.
Tumblr media
LATE GAMES
New York Jets at Miami Dolphins (-9.5)
I’d like to think a thorough ass-kicking by Miami here would rid the Jets players of Adam Gase once and for all, but expecting a logical move from an unqualified failson is probably unwise. I’m enjoying what the Dolphins are putting together under Brian Flores, the first good Bill Belichick disciple.
Green Bay Packers (-1) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Most of the focus on this game has been on the QB matchup, which is understandable. The fact that each of these guys is welcoming back an All-Pro WR (Davante Adams for GB, Chris Godwin for TB) does make it extra spicy. But, I think the deciding factor here is gonna be defense. This is bad for the Packers, because outside of DB Jaire Alexander, theirs has sucked so far. Meanwhile, the Bucs come in at #2 overall on Football Outsiders Defensive Efficiency Rankings, where they’re equally effective against the run or the pass.
SNF: Los Angeles Rams (-3) at San Francisco 49ers
Niners QB Jimmy Garoppolo looked horrific last week in his return from an ankle injury. He was clearly not close to 100%, and despite positive practice reports this week on his injury status I can’t buy in until I actually see him able to step into his throws. I was actually surprised to see the O/U on this one at 51.5, as it feels like a low-scoring game to me, a man who definitely knows what he’s talking about.
MNF (Early): Kansas City Chiefs (-4.5) at Buffalo Bills
I’m furious with Kansas City for bringing in RB Le’Veon Bell to siphon touches away from my beloved Clyde Edwards-Helaire. IT’S NOT HIS FAULT THE O-LINE CAN’T RUN BLOCK WORTH A DAMN! Anyway, due to COVID-19 protocols, Bell won’t be suiting up for this one, so here’s to CEH ending his time as the primary back in a blaze of statistical glory. These teams are each coming off of bad losses, so I expect them to come out guns-a-blazin’. The Bills are fun as hell, but I can’t take them in a shootout against K.C. just yet.
MNF (Late): Arizona Cardinals (-1) at Dallas Cowboys
Dak Prescott’s gruesome injury was a huge bummer, even if you’re like most right-thinking people and viscerally dislike the Cowboys. I hope he recovers and eventually ends up with the huge pile of cash he was headed for prior to his lower leg turning into a Rice Krispies Treat. As far as backup QBs go, Andy Dalton isn’t terrible, but you know what is? The Dallas defense. I don’t think they can make enough stops to keep the Cowboys in this one, even if the offense still looks decent.
Last Week’s Record: 7-6
Season Record: 37-31-4

PLEASE SO A CUTE FLUFFY JIMMY G ONE AFTER A GAME THAT THEY WON LIKE AFTER THE PACKERS GAME
POST GAME FEELS
you went with the team to wisconsin to cheer them on. you were bundled in so many layers, but you were wearing your garoppolo jersey and a #10 beanie.
you waited with bated breath as the last couple of seconds ticked down. everything seemed to freeze up until you saw jimmy running over to the stands, over to you.
he leaned up as high as he could, waiting for you. you leaned over the railing and wrapped your arms around him. you leaned back and pressed a kiss to his cheek.
"go, i'll meet you after interviews," you promised, cupping his cheek and giving him one last kiss then waving him off.
you had been talking with the security guard, waiting for jimmy, for almost an hour. jeff glanced at something behind you which you knew was jimmy from the way he smirked at you.
after every win, you would run over to him and jump into his arms, giving him a big hug. today was no different.
you ran over to him and jumped into his arms, "you did it."
"we did it, baby!" he cheered.
"you did it!" you kissed his cheek again.
"come on, let's go back to the hotel." he wrapped an arm around your shoulders and led you towards the car.
after getting back to the hotel, you turned laid in bed in the robes given to you by the hotel, and watched a few highlights as you waited for the food that you ordered to arrive.
"i got you something," he announced.
"you got me something?" you asked, sitting up on the bed.
he made his way over to his suitcase and pulled out a jacket, "you got me a jacket?"
"well, it's a special jacket." he showed you the patches on each arm and the 'garoppolo' '10' on the back of the jacket.
"jimmy." you smiled, "it's beautiful." you hugged him.
"i know you already have all your outfits lined up, but i just thought this would be cool." he shrugged.
"i love it." you reassured, "and i'll work it into an outfit."
requests are closed :)

San Francisco 49ers vs Arizona Cardinals Live Showcase Free
The 49ers guardian neglect to contain Russell Wilson on the resulting drive, with the Seahawks quarterback getting 18 yards on a key third-down scramble. The 49ers vs Cardinals Live supposedly must slice the 2020 preseason down the center. It shouldn't, at this stage, remove the Bandits' display come to the Inlet Region. It’s a Friday-morning rant about women and sports and guys being assholes. Under the cut because it got real long, but I am raging, so here we are.
Let’s play pick an idiom. Straw that broke the camel’s back. The last straw. The final straw. The straw that is so goddamn stupid I can’t believe we actually have to keep having this conversation in 2019.
So, last night. Thursday Night Football. Halloween. The San Francisco 49ers beat the Arizona Cardinals, stay undefeated, Jimmy Garoppolo throws four touchdowns and does...this, post-game. You didn’t click the link? That’s cool, I’m pissed enough to shout about it.
Erin Andrews asks Jimmy G “8-0, how’s that feel?” and he says “Feels great, baby.” She laughs. He laughs. It’s fucking uncomfortable.
BECAUSE HE CALLS HER BABY. LIVE. DURING ON-AIR INTERVIEW.
And I have had enough.
Enough.
This is not cute. It’s not playful. There’s no fucking banter. It’s gross. It’s out of place. If you did click that link and want to tell me something about how Erin Andrews is laughing, so everything is fine. Tell me something, what else is she supposed to do??? Live. On-Air. Nationally.
Then. Then! SportsCenter talks about the 49ers undefeated record and the Patriots undefeated record and has the female anchor say something along the lines of Can’t imagine what else they have in common....flutter eyelashes, it’s just the record, yeah, for sure.
This is me:
Tumblr media
In the wake of everything that happened with the Astros, I am somewhere close to shaking with fury over this bullshit. Because that’s what it is. Bullshit. These are people, women, doing their jobs. That’s it. That’s all they’re doing. And in the last two weeks or so, women doing their jobs have been the subject of a handful of stories and hot takes because men in the sports world can’t seem to be anything except assholes.
It took days for the Astros front office to apologize to the Sports Illustrated reporter for writing an accurate story that they tried to twist and distort and use to ruin her career. As far as has been reported, they never apologized to the reporter the initial tirade was directed at. (But thank God they got Osuna right?? Solid Game Seven blown save, man.) And now both of those women will continue to do their jobs, but there’ll always be this air of something not quite right and not quite comfortable and that’s kind of how it just...works in sports.
Because for as much progress has been made, it is still a boy’s club. A middle-aged, set in their ways boy’s club. This summer, Meredith Marakovits, the Yankees on-air reporter, and I had a conversation about how sometimes we like to go extra girl when we’re at a game, just to try and make sure the dudes in the clubhouse are stunned when we know what we’re doing.
Meredith’s been on air for years and she’s still doing that.
There are good guys in sports. There are good people in sports. Sports emotions are and will always be my favorite thing in the world. But I am tired. I’m sick of that girl you sent to my game was really nice, but she clearly didn’t know football because she’s a girl, which is a thing that happened to me this season. It’s not hard to be a good person. It’s not hard to have some sense of professionalism. It shouldn’t be this hard to do our jobs.

Super Bowl 54 As Predicted By Members Of State Champs, Set It Off, Counterparts, Four Year Strong & More
Tumblr media
Alright football fans, it’s that time of year – time for the biggest day in sports: the Super Bowl. The Big Game. The Colossal Showdown. The Sunday, Sunday, Sunday Chiefs fans have been waiting for since… January 11, 1970 aka the last time the Kansas City franchise won a Super Bowl.
Now, knowing most of you are probably absolutely thrilled to not watch another Tom Brady-led Super Bowl and instead a Patrick Mahomes vs Jimmy Garoppolo matchup of the ages, we wanted to do our best to help build anticipation.
In order to get you even more excited for this Sunday’s championship game between the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers, we reached out to a handful of sports-savvy artists to see who they think will win it all.
To see what members of Set It Off, State Champs, The Word Alive, Fit For A King, Four Year Strong and more had to say about Super Bowl 54, be sure to look below. Afterward, make sure to tweet us @TheNoise and let us know who you have winning!
Cody Carson - Set It Off
Tumblr media
This is going to be one hell of a game. The 49ers running game is a force to be reckoned with and if the Chiefs can’t stop it, it’s going to cause them problems because it’ll keep Mahomes off the field for longer. And that’s the other side, Mahomes will not be stopped. So it’s run vs. pass and I’ll take pass all day. It’s gonna be close but I think it’ll be 31-28, Chiefs win.
Tyler Szalkowski - State Champs
Tumblr media
I predict that the San Francisco 49ers will win the Super Bowl 31-24. I expect to see some high powered offense from both sides but I think the 49ers defense will be terrorizing Mahomes the whole game. I sure hope this ages well!
Telle Smith - The Word Alive
Tumblr media
49ers 27 - 21. The reason I think the 49ers are going to win is because I was reading a bunch of stuff on how this matchup is going to go. One, I think with the 49ers all year, everyone was saying like, ‘Oh they're not gonna win.’ The Chiefs [on the other hand] were pretty much Super Bowl favorites from day one and I love watching them, they're really fun to watch. But the 49ers defense, they play the one kind of defense that Mahomes has struggled against -- which is cover three. I really feel like, unless they make some strong adjustments, it's not going to be as easy for the Chiefs to go off offensively. That's what's really won them games [this season]. It hasn’t been their defense. Their offense has just been so good that it didn't matter how many points the other team was scoring. The thing about the 49ers too, like they did last week, they can win with six completions and 80 yards passing or Garoppolo can throw for 300-plus yards and they can win that way. So, I think [the 49ers] just have a better base-level, how-you-play-football team. I think with the Chiefs’ offense, if you could pick any one offense in the NFL, you'd probably take them. That's my prediction.

I'm going with the Chiefs, 35-21. I really feel like the Chiefs have an offense you can't slow down. The 49ers are great but don't have the offense to keep up with them and I don't think their defense will be as effective because of how explosive Mahomes and the Chiefs offense is.

31-28 SF. Beyond the Vikings, the 49ers have always been one of my favorite football teams. KC has a strong defense but SF has been rushing well through the playoffs and looked pretty untouchable last weekend. 4th quarter field goal with under two minutes left seals it for the 49ers.

I’ll go with the 49ers. Garoppolo knows how to work the pocket and keep the ball moving down the field. [If] their offensive line doesn’t have a lot of luck running the ball they will have to rely on his pass game. I think it will come down to the wire with the 49ers on top.

Based entirely off of their team names I think the 49ers will score exactly 49 points then just take a knee. We played a show at a Chief’s Bar once and their fans were gigantic and scary so I can only imagine how much more gigantic and scary the actual players are so they will score 98 points.

I think it will be a close game, but at the last second Tom Brady will descend from the heavens, QB sneak the final touchdown and win the game for the Patriots.

Jimmy Garoppolo - Missed calls
can you do a jimmy garoppolo imagine where your an actress filming and you get the call about his injury?
A/N: I’m just so in love with this show, so I’m using this. I LOVE the actress that plays Nell, but I’m replacing her with you. Enjoy! - Julianne
The feeling of sleep was clouding your mind. You had just had a night shoot last night and were back on set early the next morning. You had barely gotten three hours of sleep, before crawling out of the bed and back to the set.
It was only 4 am so Jimmy was still in bed. You made sure to leave him a note.
“Had an early shoot. I should be back once you get home from your afternoon game. GOOD LUCK. We’ll do dinner after. Love you! <3 -Y/N
“Morning Y/N!” Kate smiled as she sat down in her chair next to you. She handed you a coffee.
“You’re a lifesaver.” You smiled before taking a big gulp of the hot drink.
“I try.” She joked, as Carla and Elizabeth both sat next to you guys.
“So, I hear we only have one more early morning shoot, and that the rest is going to be night shoots.” Carla said making you three smile.
“God, I hope so. I hate early morning shoots.” Elizabeth laughed, taking a sip of her own coffee.
“I feel like I have more energy during the night shoots.” Kate said, as you four watched the guys walk in.
“How are you lovely ladies this morning.” Oliver smiled as he hung on to you from behind you.
You and Oliver had grown a close bond during the short few weeks for filming. Actually you all grew close. It was like one bi happy family, in a way and you knew that once filming stopped, all of you guys would still be very close. However, Oliver and you were really closer. Despite him playing your twin brother in the show, he actually felt like it.
“Wishing we had more sleep.” Kate chuckled making the rest of you grunt in agreement.
“I was wondering if we could have a family dinner, Friday?” Michiel asked. “Boyfriends, husbands, wives, or girlfriend too. Get to met everyone.”
You all agreed, knowing that Friday was perfect since Jimmy had it off. After that it was time to get filming.
Today was going to be fun, because the kids that played younger yous, were filming more of the day, and they always made you guys laugh.
“Okay, that’s lunch guys! Two hours.”
The sound of happy sighs could be heard throughout the studio. You guys made your way into the lunch area, joined by the little kids. This was the time the little ones asked for help on some scenes they were having trouble with.
As you we talking to little you, you heard your name being called from Mike the directer. A worried face one. Everyone looked at you, while you looked lost.
“I just got a call from Jimmy’s coach.” Mike said. “He was hurt during the game and he was sent to the hospital.”
Panic covered your body as you heard the word hospital.
“Is he okay?” You rushed getting up.
“I don’t know. All they told me was there was that he got hurt and that they were taking him to the hospital.” Mike frowned. Mike looked at his clipboard. “You don’t have another scene until five, so you can go.” He said.
Oliver, stood up knowing he too didn’t have to shoot until you did. “Here, I’ll drive you.” He offered. Which you were lucky for because you could barely thing. Everyone wished you “good luck” before you headed out.
Once, in the car you pulled out your phone too see three missed calls. Each one as vague as the last. Oliver, tried his hardest to calm you down.
Once, in the hospital you went straight to the room, that the coach had left on a voice mail.
“What happened?” You asked Richie, who was siting outside of the room.
“He’s fine, first off.” James started. Once he saw you breath he kept on. “He got tackled and his leg went in a wrong way and well you know.” Richie frowned.
“What happens now?” You asked.
“He just got out of surgery, and the doctor said everything went fine, but he’s going to be out for the rest of the season, it seems.” He sighed. “You can go in. He’s not fully awake but..”
You didn’t stay to hear the rest. As you walked in the room you saw a sleeping Jimmy, who’s leg was resting in the air. You placed a kiss to his cheek, before seeing his eyes open.
“Hey you.” He mumbler groggily.
“Hey.” You smiled. “How are you feeling?”
“Tried, and kind of pissed out the season, but seeing you makes me feel better.” He smiled.
“I love you, you know.”
“I love you too.”
“I would love to stay but I have to get back. However, when I’m done, I’ll come back with some burgers from your favorite place and we can watch really bad tv the rest of the night, how does that sound?” You asked pushing some of his hair away from his eyes.
“Sound perfect.”
