has anybody else thought about how jk could easily manage sofia's parts of slow dance or is it just me?
#jikook#bts#everybody is working to insert jk in who where i just don't see it (other than the seven parallels)#and not talking much about what i see as WAY more obvious nods most especially in rebirth#like jm sings about wanting to be worthy of someone - maybe someone who just became a huge SOLO global popstar?#and mentions 'real love' - what was the name of that chapter in the bangtan book again?#and the feminine pronouns not present it's just the nebulous 'you' that in jimin songs often stands in for 'army'#(and one very specific 'fan' who has said he is ALSO army)#it's the 'i wanna be with you'#the answer for jk's 'i am still' with its unspoken additional 'still with you' layer#and then we get slow dance and we're back to the nebulous 'you' - on an island he-#oh wait what was that about a pair that traveled to an island? and filmed some stuff there that we'll see soon? hm#the reason this set me off though is the lines about 'cancelling my plans' to live to 'the tempo of our favorite song'#the falling deep into lines etc etc#because we know what happens when those two get together - they lose track of time everything else fades away#it's why they haven't done lives. why 'you and me' are 'up all night' why jm knows that as soon as jk is around#his self-discipline will crack and he'll fall into the pattern he tried to head off by separating from jk while making face#and we *know* jimin wrote on this song#frankly if he *hadn't* gotten a female feature everybody would be JUMPING on this song as a jikook anthem#the inclusion of sofia works perfectly - like hammering the pin back in a grenade#but i was reading those lines and thinking how high she went and going who else could sing this ...?#huh. who do we know of who can sing *anything*? and who has a range that can hit and blend with jimin's perfectly?#so. i dunno. y'all do your delulu the way that works for you and i will do my delulu my way lol#personally i think the eyes in the mv look like a screenshot from the love wins all mv but that's only me#i think the parallels with seven work more#and speaking of parallels (there are so many) i think this album was built to ensure jm is on equal footing with a certain someone#it's the commerciality of it - as though jm was like we will be together in this as well#when he seems not to be super interested in global domination but still 'special' enough to be on the same level with his love

jeon jungkook fics that had me going feral
hi guys, here's a part 2 to my favorite jjk fics on tumblr! note that many of these fics contain 18+ content. you are responsible for the content you consume! as always, if you enjoyed any of these fics as much as i did, please take a moment to send some love to the authors! part 1 | other bts members
âș cold nights & blurred lines - by @awrkive
summary: jungkook and you have been in a sexual relationship with each other for four months now, and itâs casual for the most part. but as time passes, you canât help but feel that some of the lines suddenly got blurred in the process. is it a clichĂ© to blur the lines with your fuck buddy? it definitely is. will you do something about it? both of your emotional constipation have a hard time saying yes.
âș night crawlers - by @alphabetboyluvr
summary: jungkookâs always been good at running. track, field, red lights, shit outta luck. drugs, now, too. but he doesnât expect to run into you. in your shared lecture halls, sure. maybe. but not down the back alleys of daerim at ass oâclock in the morning. there are only three types of women he ever sees in daerim: hookers, sugar-babies and addicts. you aren't any of those; you're a trust-fund baby who can get percocet on private repeat prescription, if you really want it. he's sure of it. so it then further begs the question: why the fuck are you here?
âș this is how you fall in love - by @jeonqkooks
summary: after years of drinking and clubbing most days of the week and leaving every gig with a different girl on his arm, jungkook feels what itâs like to want someone with his entire being.
âș the dilf installments - by @mercurygguk
summary: this series follows jungkookâs life as a divorced father. but wait, how exactly does one balance being a father, a boyfriend, a friend, and a respectable boss at the same time? read the installments below to find out!
âș ultimatum - by @parkmuse
summary: your pervy, idiotic boyfriend just so happens to also be your friendly neighborhood Spider-man (in bed).
âș a hero's journey - by @hansolmates
summary: jungkook and jisoo are the mightiest power couple. however, one drunken confession and that whole facade fades in an instant. you realize that maybe you need to break from your unvaried life for a bit and be the hero of your own love story
âș tempest - by @kooktrash
summary: youâve always considered your life to be more mundane than you would like to admit. it was a constant cycle of the same things over and over again that when you meet jeon jungkook at a bar, of all places, you didnât expect to see just how much he would change your life and those around you. heâs got an air of mystery around him with his charming good looks and a violent past that you slowly begun to unravel when it feels like everything is going perfect.
âș by its cover - by @gimmesumsuga
summary: the one where Jungkook makes a horrifically bad first impression.
âș slow dancing - by @yoonia
summary: when your countdown appeared on your wrist right in the morning of your eighteenth birthday, you had thought that perhaps the universe was on your side, especially since the final seconds were already ticking so soon. You just never expected to have your first meeting with your soulmate to be the day when you had to let him go. But hope was not lost when you still found love without the bond, and Jungkook showed you that it was possible to find happiness beyond the system that was written for you. Except that the universe doesnât seem to have enough of its game, when your past sacrifice comes back hitting you straight in the face, just when you had believed that you had written off the perfect ending to your bittersweet tale.
âș e s p r e s s o - by @joonberriess
âș hold me closer - by @ahundredtimesover
summary: when you're asked to look after your parents' house and meet them before they go on vacation, you, Jimin, and Jungkook take the trip to your hometown of Busan and relive memories of your youth. While your new relationship has you feeling like a lovesick teenager with all the affection that Jungkook shows you, you're still you - a professional trying to make it in the corporate world, and an eldest child trying not to disappoint her parents. And that turns out to be your undoing, as a little blunder causes a rift between you and Jungkook, resulting in a trip that you might as well have messed up⊠Not if your brother can help it, though.

JIMIN
â lover to lean on â by @sketchguk
for months, you can hear your no face neighbor and his âgirlfriendâ singing and dancing and laughing and falling in love. above all, you can hear their bed banging against your shared wall, and they wonât ever let you sleep. youâd much rather stay up at night worrying about your own problems, like the weight of an unrequited crush, so of course youâre bitterly single. but one day, the apartment is radio silent. and one day slowly turns into one week and then into an immeasurable amount of time since youâve heard his laugh. so on valentineâs day, when youâre missing it the most, you beg your neighbor to open up to you with cookies in one hand and two broken hearts in the other. | 20k [a, f, s]
â believe it â by @writtenwhalien
When your car breaks down late at night in your hometown and the door you knock on just happens to belong to the man that was almost yours, it opens the floodgates to memories you had hoped to keep suppressed and those youâve never forgotten about. | 28.7k [f, a, s]
â everybody loves somebody â by @dollfaceksj
In a world where thereâs a small chance for you to contract a deadly disease the specific moment you come to the realization that the person closest to your heart will always be out of your reach, you find yourself coughing up blood stained flower petals after your best friend â and fuck buddy â Park Jimin, tells you heâs been seeing someone. | 11.7k [a, s]
â blooming days â by @bluekyun
A typical night for you begins at the library in your favorite chair underneath the lamp in the corner, only to be picked up at 3am by your best friend, Jimin. Despite having slept over in his room several times before, this certain night in Sigma house leads to far more than you ever imagined. But what is to come of your friendship once you reveal those two little lines that will change your lives forever? | 15.3k [f, a, s]
â the very last thing i decide â by @ugh-yoongi
you learn what it means to love with blood on your hands. | 12k [a, s]
â heartburn â by @jiminrings
you know itâd happen eventually and youâve been preparing yourself for the impending hurt â you just donât want it now. not now when itâs nearing jiminâs little sisterâs birthday; not now when you can swear love isnât the only thing you can put on the table. | series [a]
â letâs get quizzical â by @taleasnewastime
Thursday night pub quizzes with your friends are a must. One of those friends being your long-term friend, long-term crush, Park Jimin. At this point 99.9% of the population knows you have feelings towards him, Jimin being the 0.1% that doesnât. But what happens when a bet goes wrong and your weekly quizzes become more complicated than fun? | 28.6k [a, f, s]

Jâadore
5.2k words
aespaâs Yoo Jimin/Karina x Male Reader
Prequel to Not Shy

A/N: Kind of extension to Not Shy! Also, this is my last sprint before the midterms lol, Iâll be back after that and try to write something good. Kinda rough bc thereâs no beta-reading lol. Thanks for reading as always!!!
â
Spring
âYou? A student council member?â
âItâs just the treasurer!â
Itâs the easiest position, according to your seniors, which seems to be much, much more credible sources than Kai, the friend you got caught in a debate with.
âJust the treasurer. Mate, have you seen the lads from last year? I swear that one of them almost died.â
âI have to build my portfolio, man. You even have your dance club!â You retort, trying to grasp on something.
âWell, itâs because I like to dance.â Kai says in a mocking tone. He doesn't mean to be condescending, of course. Heâs your best friend, after all. âDo you like to work with Excel?â
âI meanââ
âBoard games? No, too nerdy. Cheerleader? No, too demanding. And then you fucking jumped onto the student council? I swear, man, you definitely have some kind of death wish,â he says.
You sigh, surrendering to his points. Still, you're too deep in the application process to turn back now. You look back at your phone, seeing all the completed questions in the form.
âIâm not leaving you behind, still,â Kai says, patting your back. âIâll give you caffeine when you need it.â
Do you think youâre qualified to be a student council member?
Yes.
âIâm sending it now.â
âGood luck.â
Submit
Thank you for your submission. We will announce our selection by May 1st.
â
Summer
Maybe it was how the last yearâs council members turned out to be. You were the only one who applied for the treasurer's position. Hell, even the other ones arenât any more popular either. There was no one in the head of first aid, and they had to roll out another round of applications for that.
The fresh faces of the new student council members are all standing inside this meeting roomâso determined, so passionate. Their chatters fill the room up with life.
You glance around the room. Youâre familiar with some of them, walk-pasts in the hallways, sitting-fars in the classes, until one woman catches your eye.
Yoo Jimin, youâve heard that she beat the second place applicant for president by quite a margin. Her confidence is probably what makes her so alluring to the students. Also, her face, fuck, her face, sheâs the fucking epitome of perfection.
Maybe itâs the way you stare at her for just a little too long; she starts to walk towards you, and thatâs when you fell into her trap for the first time.
She stops just a step away, offering you a handshakeâfirm, assured.
âYoo Jimin,â she declaresâstern, expressionless.
âPleasure to meet you, Jimin.â You accept her grip, lips curling inward, letting out a minuscule smileârelaxed, reserved.
âWeâll be working together for the next year. Iâm looking forward to it.â She keeps it professional in the expression she makes. Thereâs nothing to be made of it, except for the fact that sheâs very reticent with her face.
You force out another small smile. âIâm also looking forward to it, Jimin.â
â
âAreas! I need two tables and four chairs. Parcels, get your equipment ready.â
The first meeting between the freshmen and their seniors is always the hardest to perfect. Thereâs the idea that the first impression defines the future of the relationship between the two. So, here you are, in your facultyâs First Meet event. Youâre lucky that they let you use the air conditioners on the d-day. Those fucking run-throughs got you all melted.
You have little work to do today, having managed the proposals and preparing to do the post-production stuff. So, youâre at the core teamâs table, playing whatever your old laptop can handle, untilâ
âAre you free?â
You look up from your screen to see the angelic figure that is Yoo Jimin standing in front of you, towering you with ease with you sitting in your seat.
âUhâ,â you can only let out a hesitation.
âI guess youâreââ she bends over the desk to see the gaming screen, before letting out a small laugh. ââfree?â
âYâYes, Jimin.â A slight view of her cleavage can be seen with her posture, and you have to do your best to find something else to look at.
âGood. Can you help us carry a few tables?â
You look at your frail armsâshouldâve done some more work at the gym. âIf you want me to tear my biceps.â
Jimin chuckles, before closing on your ear, left hand pressing on your right thigh, âDonât worry that you wouldnât be able to jerk off, treasurer. I can do it for you.â
You freeze, not believing the words coming out of her mouth. Did she just say that? Such lewd words?
Jimin, sensing your tensed up body, pulls back from you and laughs. âOh my god, look at you. I was just fucking with you!â
âGood grief, Jimin. You couldâve killed me,â you huff.
She shoots back a beam. âCome on, letâs get to work.â
â
Fall
The clicking sound of your keyboard and the scratches of the bills youâre arranging permeates the room this evening. Jimin is sitting on the other side of the trash-ridden tableâstationeries, snack wrapsâeyes unfocused as she swipes one short video after another. Her thoughts seem to be elsewhere now. Dinner? Bed? Someone? Youâll never know.
âFucking hell, this bitch again,â she mutters under her breath, which you catch. You look up from the budget plan youâre working on, meeting her eyes.
âSorry, Tinder stuff.â
You return her a tiny smile before going back to inputting the bills. Still, you can hear Jiminâs tossing and turning in her chair as she seems to type something into her phone, before smashing her thumb on the right side of its poor screen. You canât help but let out a chuckle, one that she catches.
âYeah, itâs pathetic, isnât it?â Jimin rhetorizes, placing her phone on the table. âA student president that just canât find any partner.â
You shrug, still typing, âWell, the work is gruelling.â And she chuckles at your statement.
âYeah, I guess so. But itâs just, how to explain?â She furrows her eyebrows, tapping her chin to seek the right word in the air, before coming to an answer. âI just canât find the right person, you know? Half of the line is gone once I show any bit of confidence, and the other half are, well, clingy ass bitches.â
You smile back at her, trying to give her some solace in solitude. âIâm sure youâll find the right person soon, Jimin. You likeâhave the whole faculty in your hands.â
She gives you a weak smile. âYou always have pleasant words for everyone, treasurer.â
You smile back before returning to your accounting work, unbeknownst to the light bulb brightening up inside her head.
âSo, howâs your love life?â She asks, rising from the other side. She leans forward ever so slightly, hands supporting her frame on the white table, slightly revealing the valley of her breasts.
You break yourself from the laptop, once again, meeting her cleavage in your line of sight for a split second. Itâs magnetic, but youâre able to resist it, for now.
âHmm?â
âI mean⊠you donât seem to be an awful choice for women, or men, judging from⊠how many months?â
âFour,â and you gulp.
âYeah, four months with you, my treasurer. But Iâve never quite caught you being involved in anything,ââshe stands up straight, before slowly striding towards your seat, hips swaying at each nifty stepââromantic.â
You clench your eyes ever so tightly at her alluring motionâthe swaying hips, the crossing stepsâas if thereâs anything to examine but her burning lust. âWell, Jimin, I donât think the passive mid-table guys get much,â you state.
âIs that so? Because you donât seem to belong at the mid-table.â The distance between you two is shrinking, slowly. And with a few more small steps, you find her towering over you, chest basking in front of your face.
Jimin bends down slowly, revealing just a slight sight of her gorgeous cleavage. The poor crop top is struggling to hold her supple flesh within, even with the workshop shirt helping. You shift just slightly in your seat.
Your eyes are doing their best to resist the magnetic force, but her big brown eyes aren't a sanctuary, either.
âThanks, miss president.â
Her Dior Jâadore is enrapturing you.
âYou know, I notice the perfume you wear every day, even if itâs just CK One.â She forces sultry into her perceptive words, and to say, it works. She drags her right middle finger along the length of your arm, lighting a fire in its trail.
You try to keep your composure; it works, for now. She doesnât seem to notice the sweat hanging off your forehead yet.
âOr how you dress so damn well to class, even if itâs some fuckass subject,â Jimin continues, tracing her hands up to your forearm now.
Your breath hitches, and you can just connect the dots so easily.
âWâWhy me, though, Jimin?â
âOh, clever boy, I just need the real thing, thatâs all,â she coos. Her digits are playing with the line of your collarbones now.Â
âSee, Iâm just so fucking sick of myâwell, whatâs the word, devices. Theyâre pleasurable, sure, but unlike a real person, which in this caseâis youââ Her hand grabs your chin from behind, and you canât find any resistance. Her sonic reduces into a sensual whisper into your ear. ââthey lack warmth.â
âSâSo, do you want to haveââ
âSex? Yes, I want you inside me, baby. I want you body clashing against mine, while you moan my name like youâre some common whore.â
Itâs haywire, your mind. You are lost in herâher voice, her face, her body, everything thatâs about Jimin. Is she really inviting you to have sex with her? Is this interaction even real?
âSo, what do you say, wanna go somewhere after this? Somewhereâsmall, somewhereâprivate.â Her voice dives into a whisper beside your ear, and you can feel a smile forming beside it. âIâm sure you can work on your billsâanywhere.â
You stare forward, trying to look unfazed to cover your crumbling composure.
âIâI can work on the bills anywhere, Jimin.â Your voice betrays you.
She gives a quiet laugh, âGood to know, treasurer,â before lightly grabbing your chin, with her index and middle finger resting on your lips. Are they seeking silence or entry?
Slowly, they push your upper lip ever so slightly, eliciting a whimper from you. Fuck, is she trying toâ
âYou know what to do, baby.â
Rejection.
Hesitation.
Submission.
You open your mouth for herânow courtesy of Yoo Jimin. You take in her fingers. Theyâre cold from the air conditioner. Bite. Lick. Swallow. You close your eyes while doing so, absorbing her taste with your tongue. You feel youâre under her controlâso submissive. Itâs ecstatic.
âGod, do you like being called a whore? Because youâre acting like one right now,â Jimin asks.
You profusely nod at her statement, continuing to suck on her fingers.
âThen keep doing it, whore.â
Your eyes roll into the back of your head as you can hear her giggle. And as your vision comes back to her, the free hand is rubbing against her clothed core now. Mewling sounds can be heard.
âGod, keep sucking it, baby. Iâve never cummed as fast as this before.â
âNgh.â And you keep sucking her fingers.
A sound of the door stops you in your tracks though.
âGuys, I need a few chairsâam I interrupting something?â
Ning Yizhuo, head of student welfare, barges into the room. She stares straight at you two. Good thing Jimin pulls her digits out and puts them behind her back before Yizhuoâs eyes catch sight of you glistening on her, leaving you stranded in your burning desire for your president.
Maybe itâs the way your eyes are still fluttering. Maybe itâs the way your mouth ever so slightly hangs open. Maybe itâs your quick breaths.
Yizhuo wants to know whatâs up.
âWeâre justââ Jimin tries to find the right word in your eyes. Her blinks are rapid. Sheâs concerned. Sheâs afraid.
âYouâreâwhat?â Yizhuo isnât a patient figure. Sheâs trying to gauge something out of Karina.
âIâIâm adjusting his posture! OâOur dear treasurer has a bad sitting posture andââ
âCut the shit, Jimin. What the fuck did you guys do?â
âSâSee, heâs sitting a lot, you know? BâBills. Accounting. Excel stuff.â Jiminâs brows hint at the concern within her chuckle. She pushes the middle of your back to set you straight up. As you follow her move, Yizhuo clenches her eyes.
âJust get me some chairs and donât fuck inside this room.â
â
Jimin swings her door open, and as expected, every single bit of it is immaculately kept clean. Thereâs not a single piece of trash on the floor of her white room; the table is meticulously arranged; the bed is folded. Thereâs a Meteora vinyl placed on her shelf. God, what a tasteful woman.
âDrop your bag.â
You comply as she also does so.
And she immediately pounces on your body, consuming your taste and scent at your nape. Her lips are wet, sending shocks through your pliant frame.
âMmph, keep this perfume, baby. I just wanna have this scent of you every day.â
Itâs CK One.
She plants her kisses along your neckâstanding up straightâever so determined to make you hers. Her hands lock your shifting, shaking body in place, despite being so eager to feel every inch of youâup and down.
âSoâpliant, soâsubmissive,â she whispers.
âI wouldnât go that far,â you deflect, trying to have a hold of the battle. Thereâs a glint of brattiness inside you that wants to resist her just a little, just before you give in.
âIs that so?â Jimin mewls, before pushing you onto the bed.
âIâm not letting you have me that easily, miss president,â you say with your back against her soft cushion. Jimin is straddling her lean, lengthy legs over yours. She looks so damn tall from this viewâyou lying beneath her.
âSucking my fingers, then decide to be a bratty bitch right nowââ She lightly taps the tip of your nose, also scrunching hers. ââI like that.â
You say nothing, giving her just a wink from below.
âOh, baby, Iâll have you scream my name so many times.â
âFucking make me then.â
And fires ignite in her eyes.
She dives onto your left earânibbling, biting, swallowing, whatever she can do with her mouth without tearing your auricle off. Her deep moans send suppressed shudders through your neurons.
Jimin spreads saliva all over your ear, no sign of relenting. Slurping sounds of her flesh ring in your head. She plants each lick with purpose, and it sends jolts and jolts through your body. Still, youâre far from falling apartâtethered on the ground.
âTsk, iâis this the best yâyou can do?â
âOh, baby, youâre already stuttering? I can do more if you want~,â she tastefully threatens. Then, she brings her right hand into play, tilting your chin up. Your mouth is right beside her neck. The pale smoothness of her skin is presented in front of you, and you just canât help butâ
âFâFuck!â Jimin yells, clearly enraptured with the swipes of tongue you are giving her. Still, she keeps spreading her saliva on your ear as if itâs hers (itâs hers).
âOh, bâbaby boy, maybe you can use your tâtongue on other things instead,â she whines.
âYour cunt?â You keep stretching your tongue onto her nape, getting a taste of her sweat.
She pulls back from you, robbing the sensations away from your throat. âClever, now just lie like this. Iâm riding your pretty face.â
Jimin then takes off her purple lace panties, giving you a hint of her wet cuntâunshavedâas she lifts her leg, before stuffing the garment onto your nose. Fuck, her musk is so intense; you can just die happily right here.
âYou just love it, donât you?â
You sheepishly nod, pressing her panties against your nose even tighter, eliciting laughs from her sinful mouth.
âI think thatâs enough, baby. I wanna fuck your face now,â she says, before tossing away the filthy garment.
Jimin then moves forward on her knees, bringing her heat closer and closer to your face. God, the fact that sheâs unshaved only brings you higher. You need to slurp her juice; you need it on your face, youâ
âReady?â
Her cunt is hovering above you now, sheâs pulling her skirt up, letting you see her face for the last time before being buried under her.
You nod.
And she sinks onto your face.
The first contact is soft, so, so soft. Youâre practically making out with pussy, as she shakes above you erratically. There isnât much light, with her skirt darkening your vision of whatâs around, but itâs like youâd complain. Youâre eating your student president out in her room, and youâre doing it so, so well that it sends shivers through her body, again and again.
âNgh, fâfuck!â Jimin shouts from aboveâthe things youâd do to see her face right now, to see an effect youâre having on her.
You say nothing, just keep lapping up her folds enthusiastically. Her juice drips into your mouthâsweet.
Jimin starts to grind her hips, as the moans grow louder. Sheâs getting wetter, and youâre still happily drinking her sugary nectarâdrunk with it.
âAh, ah, yâyouâre doing well, my treasurer.â
You give her a thumbs up. You keep licking her cunt as if your life is depending on it. She moans so loud; everyone on this floor is probably going to hear that, but you donât care anymore. The only thing in your head right now is to please Jiminâonly Yoo Jimin.
And you can feel her thighs tense, shaking with pleasure. Sheâs going to cum. Her moans grow more chaotic and shorter than they were.
âFuck, fuck, Iâm cumming, Iâm cumming, fuck!â
She cums hard, collapsing onto the bed, cunt still on your face, ass up in the air. Her core clenches and clenches on your face, and she just forgets to breathe as her hips convulse.
âNo squirt today, huh?â you joke from below.
She snaps back into the situation sheâs in, sneering, âFuck off, donât fucking play stupid with me, whâwhore.â
You laugh, âAlright, alright, letâs get to the main course, shall we?â
âYâYeah.â
Jimin lifts off from you, leaving a string of her lubricant between your lips and her cunt.
âGod, thatâs hot,â you just canât help but say it.
She giggles, and you can now see the sweat forming on her forehead; thereâs beauty in it.
You two, in a haste, discard all of your clothes until youâre left with nothingâjust bare bodies on the bed together. Youâre sitting opposite of her, expecting her to say something.
She looks ethereal under the room light. The messy hair, the perfect features, the bare body, they all combine into the epitome of perfection right in front of you. Fuck, sheâs gorgeous.
âCan I suck your tits?â you mutter. Fuck reticence, you need her, now.
She chuckles. âSure, but only if Iâm on top of you.â
âYou just have to find a way to dominate me, donât you?â you huff.
âDonât say it like you donât like it, baby.â She caresses your cheeks, and you shiver at her touch.
You lie down, as she slowly eclipses the light above both of you. Her large breasts are hanging down so close to your face. Andâ
âFâFuck!â
You latch your mouth on her right breast as if itâs innate, with your hand kneading on the other. She lets out empyrean moans that only makes you want to suck on them even more. God, you can do this all day.
And not wanting to wait anymore, she impales her cunt with your cock, and you can only moan into her tits. This sensation, itâs overwhelming. Her velvety walls are hugging you so, so tightly. Itâs so warm. Sheâs warm.
âFuck,â she groans, eyes rolling into the back of her head. âYour cock is so well-bent, baby. Itâs hitting my g-spot so good.â
âTâThanks, JâJimin.â Your mind is so damn clouded by the pleasure that you can say nothing but her name right now.
And a crack starts to form when she movesâup and down. Her unshaved cunt dragging along your digit, emanating pleasure all over your body from the core.
âBâBabe, câcan you stop sâsucking my tits?â she pleads.
You pull yourself out of her mounds, as sheâs still riding you like thereâs no tomorrow, and you let out small moans at each contact. âWâWhat? Ngh.â
âI wanna kiss you.â
You freeze under her. Sheâs still motioning herself to squeeze the cum out of you, whimpering each time your cock hits the hilt. Is it a confession? Does she loveâ
âBâBabe,â she brings you back to the mortal world.
âYâYeah, kiss me.â
She invades your mouth as if it wasnât already hers at the second she sits on your face. Your tongues intertwine in a quest to declare their feelings of their owners.
Your hands are still squeezing her breasts. Itâs addictive. You press and press into her flesh just to feel her as much as you can. This might as well be the only body you want to have just to yourself, as you dedicate yours to her. Every curve, every contour, every limb, you want her; you want her to want you; you need her. This kiss, fuck, itâs doing wonders to you.
Sheâd be the one to break off from the kiss to pant above you, hips still smashing into yours in a perfect rhythm.
âWâWanna go out with me?â she asks.
Sheâs desperate, all the Tinder dates, all theâ
âBabe, IâI fucking know that itâs desperate, yes or no. Fuck those Tinder dates, fuck those guys and girls, IâI want to go out with you, tâtreasurer,â she pants.
Maybe itâs her Jâadore thatâs permeating all over you. Maybe itâs the way your hips are clashing into each other. Maybe, just maybe, itâs the glint in her eyes.
But if you have to recall, itâd be the confidence sheâs radiating in clashing your flesh together just right now.
You nod.
Jimin smiles, pulling you into another kiss. You swear it can tear you apart if you have to let this woman goâfiguratively.
She pulls off, her breaths becoming shorter and shorter again. âCâCan you cum with me, baby?â
Again, you nod, smiling. Itâs inside your loins, building up, building up. Your body tenses up beneath her, same as hers. Itâs there. Itâs there.
âFuck, baby, breed me. Iâm yours, just breed me, justâugh!â
And her whole body freezes, juices flowing onto your crotch. Her face is contorted by the pleasure coursing through her. Again, she forgets to breathe, back arching. You donât slow down, though. Your orgasm is coming too.
âBâBabeâah!â
It breaks. You busy yourself inside her to the hilt. Just like her, you forget to breathe. You shoot spurts of your seed deep into her womb, intending to breed her as her wish. Your cock shakes inside her, as she moans at each twitch.
It subsides, eventually. The shots get softer and softer to the point the cum just dribbles off the tip of you now. Fuck, your juices even leak out of her cunt onto your crotch, mixed together.
âFâFuck,â is all she can say, before collapsing onto you, chest pressed up against yours.
âThe planâs still up?â
âYeah.â
And she slips to the side, embracing you from behind, as you two doze off in the nocturne.
â
âCan I use your toothbrush?â
A long drag of uncertainty comes from the outside. Sun has risen hours ago, yet you two are still in the drowsy state.
âOr do I have to kiss you again for the answer, Jimin?â
âPut your morning breath away from me!â
At least sheâs quick with her riposte.
As you brush your teeth, naked, she saunters into the bathroom, still similarly bare from last night. Her breasts bounce ever so slightly with each step in the mirror. Despite the disheveled appearance, her natural beauty shines through the messâa seraphic being, one might say.
âHa, yeah, I know Iâm pretty, baby,â she says. âPeople would kill to have a body like me.â
You finish your clean up, before saying, âYouâre insufferable, you know?â
Jimin laughs, before giving you a quick peck on the cheek, emanating mellow all over your face. Fuck, you can feel the blood rushing to your erection now.
âYou too, babe.â She smiles, before grabbing her mouthwash for a gargling.
Your cock, again, finds the condition to rise in front of this woman. Itâs twitching, and you just have to turn back before she notices it.
Still, her sharp eyes find you, and she gives you a small slap on your bare ass, sending pleasure rushing through your body.
âHey!â she growls with the mouthwash, before quickly disposing of it. âYouâre fucking hard again?â
âIâIâIâuhââ
Jimin then presses herself up against your back, arms ever so tightly trapping you from behind in a hug. Itâs warm. Sheâs warm.
âLet me, baby,â she whispers against your wobbling right ear. âI canât have my co-workersâ needs go unsated.â
âFâFucking hell.â
In one careful motion, Jimin slides her arms down to your erection, right hand grabbing the length. âWouldnât mind some respect from my baby boy~â Her grip and the languid, careful strokes make your legs wobble.
âTsk, nâno fucking way, JâJimin,â you muster any inhibition you have left to deflect.
âWell, then.â Jimin then tightens her hold on your cock, transpiring both pain and pleasure to you. âHow about now?â
âNghhhh, fâfuck,â you cry out, the contorted expression appears in the mirror.
âJust like that, baby, moan for me. Show me who owns you,â Jimin coos, loosening her hold a slight, still keeping the adagio tempo.
âNnnh, JâJimin.â
âGood boy, good boy,â she murmurs.
She drags her filthy hand up and down your cock so leisurely, finding the rhythm for your pliancy. She strokes and strokes to build you up to the second release with her, this time by her hand.
It feels like eternityâthe way her unhurried digits find the pace that would make you want so much more, or how she whispers âgood boyâ into your ear every time she wants a whiff of reassurance of control. Itâs like she needs one, anyway, judging by how youâre moaning like a bitch right now.
âGod, youâre making so much sound for me.â The way she swipes her index finger at the tip of your cock on each stroke, fuck, you can fall onto the floor right here and now. âWanna see your face in the mirror, baby?â
You turn your head leftwards to find reflections of a contorted face and a grin side by side. Her hand is diligent as everâbuilding you up to your inevitable release.
âWhat do you say, baby? Wanna see our faces in the mirror?â she inquires again. You can feel a mischievous smile beside your ear.
âNgnh, aâalright.â
With ease, she forces your body to turn into your image of the ball of lustâthe shower of kisses on your neck; the hand sliding up and down your cock; the thigh pressing up against your ass. You shift and shift within her restraint, and that seems to only fuel her fire.
âMoan some more for me, baby. I wanna hear your voice. I want my men moaning.â
You comply, letting out a series of whimpers just for your student president. The sensation of her hand is so damn enthrallingâeach slide, each nick of a finger, each twist of her wrist, they are all designed to make you surrender to her.
âGood boy. Your moans are so pleasing to hear, you know that?â
âNngh, tâthanks, Jimin.â
âWanna up the ante, baby? I can do it faster~â As if her languid tempo isnât already doing its job in trapping you inside her overflowing lust.
You hesitate, finding yourself wanting this act to go on to such lengths, maybe even when the sun sets again. Being under her comforting warmth is too satisfying.
âIâI donât know, Jimin.â
âOh, this baby canât decide? Guess Iâll just have toââ
She suddenly lets go of your length, cutting your string of desire so easily. You whine, as Jimin lets out a laugh.
âDonât!â you say in a rush, and letting go the hand you havenât realized youâve been holdingâhers.
Jimin giggles. âSay please, baby.â She tightens her hug on you, squeezing the plea out.
Your eyes meet hers in the mirror.
âPlease, Jimin.â
âGood boy.â And she wraps her hand around your erection again, casually stroking it.
âNgh.â
The sound of her jerking your shaft fills the room. Itâs heavenlyâher voluptuous chest pressing up against your arching back with right hand busy sliding on your rod. She does it so cleanlyâthe technique, the pace. You swear you will cum by the second she whispers another âgood boyâ into your welcoming ears.
As if she knows your inevitable release, she seeks a higher speed on your cock, stroking it with a swiftness that tries to draw out your moan and your cum as much as she can.
âNgh, JâJimin,â you whimper.
âOh, gonna cum already, baby?â Jimin giggles at your crumble, before giving a peck on your left cheek. âGo on, cum for me. Cum, just like you did last night inside me.â
White spots start to form within your vision. Your breaths become more erratic. Itâs there. Itâs there.
âJimin~â
And you explode all over her mirror, painting white streaks on it. You are left with ecstasy on your face as Jimin smiles at your release. Your body shrieks and shudders in her embrace. Your cock twitches in her hand, sending flying ropes of cum everywhere. Fuck.
âYes, baby, just like that.â Her voice is deepâso seductive.
You continue to shake in her hold, not being able to subside from your high so quickly. Your release grows lighter and lighter in her hand, until it comes out in drops, finally letting you catch your breath.
âGood boy,â Jimin says, before forcing your body towards hers. You are spun around, and she gives you a kiss.
Itâs short, but itâs powerfulâno tongue fighting for dominance, no slurping sounds, just a kiss.
And she pulls back from it once sheâs satisfied, judging from the smile on her face.
âWanna do this again?â she asks.
âDefinitelyâwellâmaybe. You know Yizhuo would beat our asses if she catches us again, right?â
âJust shut up, babe. She wonât know if youâre good with secrets like me.â
You pout, bringing out a laugh from her.
Winter
âItâs going well, isnât it?â Kai asks.
You give him a small smile. âItâs bearable, yeah.â
âGood to know, good to know.â He then takes a sip of his latte from his cup, looking outside.
âFuck, I forgot to ask you this,â you say. âAre you seeing anyone?â
âOh yeah! In fact, thereâs a woman I've been seeing recently, Yizhuo. You probably know her, right? You guys are working together,â Kai answers.
âOh,â you utter. âOh.â
He chuckles, before continuing, âYeah, I know itâs weirdââ
âNo, no, not at all, bro,â you deflect with a chuckle along with him. âIâm happy that youâre happy.â
Kai, still chuckling, inquires, âHow about you? Itâs gotta be more than âbearableâ for you to be all happy like this.â
You give him a smile.

âI am not betting a thousand on Jungkook for no nut; November be fucking for real; heâs going to lose twenty minutes in.â Namjoon says knowing his friend and knowing how you have him wrapped around your pinky will have him losing money.
âI can go a whole month without sex, motherfuckers.â Jungkook gasps, running a hand through his wet hair from his previous shower.
It was Halloween night, and the boys just came back from accompanying Iseul and Ye Joon trick or treating down the neighborhood.
âIâm taking my baby to the rich neighborhoods so she can get the full-size candy bars.â Jungkook squeezes Iseul's cheeks, trying to avoid the cute bunny face paint you had drawn on. Your husband, without thinking twice, matched her outfit with the big fluffy bunny ears on the top of his head, bobbing on his head whenever he would move around.
"You literally live in a rich neighborhood.â Ari scolds, sending Jungkook's arm flying up in his defense.
"Trust, I wonât fuck up!â Jungkook defends himself while the boys have a hard time believing him; the boys only sighed before agreeing.
âŠ
Â
Jungkook couldnât do it; his dick immediately hardened as he saw you walking down the stairs in your playboy bunny costume, the small black leather skirt that barely covers your ass, and your black thong visible to everyone. The black long-sleeve crop top and the bunny ears had him stressing and wishing he wouldnât have made that bet.
âFuck, you look beautiful, baby." Jungkook wraps his arm around your waist, pulling you in possessively. His hand lowered to your ass before giving a soft squeeze; you didnât even bat an eye.
âThank you, my love.â You give him a quick peck before looking down at his all-black outfit. âYou look handsome, daddy,â you wink before walking to the kitchen where Eunbi and Jia were.
You had taken a new habit of calling Jungkook Daddy a joke, and he knew that, but right now the word just worsened the hard problem he has in his pants.
Itâs around three in the morning now, and the house is a mess. Iseul is staying with your mother-in-law, who volunteered to take care of her for the night. You were definitely drunk; Ari and Lora came in the house already fucked up, and them being bad influences made you and all the girls take shot after shot, so here you were dancing in your living room as the guys sat on the couch watching you all.
âI think I might owe you all a thousand." Jungkook sighs at his friends. Whoâs head snaps at him in shock? âYou fucking lost already; are you serious? It's been like three hours!?â Seokjin gasps, and Jimin giggles beside him.
Thatâs when everyone pulls their wallets and drops wads of cash in Jimin's hands. âI fucking told you he wouldnât last." Jimin snickers as he counts the money in his hands.
âYou guys have no faith in me! I havenât done anything."Jungkook whispers the last part, "Oh." Jimin says he is disappointed before handing the money back to the corresponding boys.
âThen why do you say that?" Hoseok sighs, putting the hundred back in his wallet before tucking it in his back pocket.
âSheâs dressed as a playboy bunny!! A sexy ass playboy bunny.â Jungkook whispers, âPlease come on; you would fuck y/n in a garbage bag.â Yoongi says, before sending a signal to Eunbi to stop drinking, to which she only nods 'no', making Yoongi stand up and march her way.
âShe would look good in anythingâbetter without anything, actually.â Jungkook says as he sees you down, another shot making him shoot up his seat.
âNo more alcohol for you, baby.â He takes the shot glass out of your hands, putting his arm around your waist to keep you stabilized. "Babyyy,â you pout, looking up at him, fisting his shirt, and pulling him closer to your face.Â
âWhat princess?â He says softly, your faces almost touching each other; he can smell the alcohol. âIâm so drunk.â You slur with a goofy smile on your face, gripping onto his shoulders, raising your legs behind you, and reaching for your heel, making you stumble backwards just for Yoongi and Jungkook to stabilize you.
"Yeah, weâre leaving,â Yoongi says as he holds onto Eunbi, whoâs slurring a bunch of nonsense, âbut I donât want to leave!" Eunbi whines as Yoongi chuckles as he drags her to the front door.
âWe should leave too, then,â all the boys say, standing up and wishing everyone goodbye. âLetâs go, my love,â Taehyung tells Ari, whoâs lying on the ground, her police officer outfit long gone, replaced with the big t-shirt you had handed her earlier.
"Nooo, I want to stay with y/n!â She gets picked up by Taehyung, who shushes her with a kiss. âYou reek like alcohol,â he chuckles before giving Jungkook a head nod and walking out, Jimin and Namjoon following behind them, being the last ones out, the rest long gone.
Jungkook lays you on the couch, kneeling down, unstrapping your heels, and taking them off before kissing the top of your shin. Making you moan in relief.
âMy feet hurt so bad!â You whine loudly before bringing your feet into your chest, making your skirt ride up, giving Jungkook a perfect view of your covered pussy.Â
He wanted nothing to open your legs, put your panties aside, and eat you out at that moment, but one, you were drunk, and two, the stupid bet he made yesterday. So instead of doing all that, he stood up and made his way to the main door, locking it before making his way back to you, taking his dirty shirt off in the process.
âYou are so hot... Could you maybe have my baby?â You pout, looking up at him, whoâs hovering over you with a smile on his face. âYou already had my baby, princess.â He chuckles at you, making grabby hands up at him.
âThen another one?â You slur with the goofiest smile on your face as he picks you up, your legs immediately wrapping around his torso as your arms wrap around his neck. âYou would slap yourself if you heard yourself right now, baby.â He laughs as you snuggle your face into his neck.Â
âIf itâs a girl, what would we name her?â You slur your words as Jungkook starts making his way upstairs to your guy's room. âI donât know, princess, do you know?â He asks you, taking one step at a time.Â
âI like Nabi," you giggle. âI like Nabi.â Jungkook repeats after you, giving your puffed-out cheek a wet kiss. âAnd if itâs a boy, we can name it Junior.â Jungkook suggests entering your guys room.
âEw no!â You shake your head, sticking your tongue out like you just ate something disgusting. âThatâs offensive; you donât like my name?â Jungkook puts you gently on the bed, crossing his arms in front of him, making his muscles flex as he watches you bite your lip while you look up to him.
âOf course I do. Itâs just thatâs the name I scream out when Iâm getting railed. I donât want my son to have that name." You shiver from the thought, leaving Jungkook speechless from your boldness.
âY/n!â He chokes out, "What? Iâm being honest!â You slur, trying to put your shirt over your head, only to get stuck with your hands up in the air. âHelp me!" you whine.
Your husband laughs immediately, helping you take your shirt off before throwing it somewhere in the room. He watches you struggle to reach behind you to unclip your bra.Â
âTurn around, baby; let me help.â He orders, and who are you to say no?
âMkay,â you say, turning around and letting Jungkook unclip it with his hand, making your bra drop onto the bed. And with that, you fall face-first into the bed. "Yeah, no, get up. We need to brush your teeth and take your makeup off. Come on.â Jungkook picks up your frame as you whine loudly.Â
As Jungkook drags you to your guy's shared bathroom in only your skirt, Jungkook sets you up on the sink, and you bring your knees up against you again, making Jungkook want to run into a wall.
Seeing you with your smudge eyeliner and mascara has his thoughts running wild. You are topless, and the tiniest skirt he has ever seen you wear has him imagining how he could bend you over, lift your skirt up, and fuck you raw.
He shakes his thoughts off, getting your light pink toothbrush and lathering it with toothpaste before passing it to you. You lazily brush your teeth with your eyes closed, making small sounds at random times as Jungkook brushes his teeth as well.
âI'm dizzy.. My head is spinning.â You giggle as toothpaste is still in your mouth before spitting it out. Jungkook makes a little bowl with his hand, putting his palm underneath the water and accumulating a good amount before bringing it into your mouth, which you then swish around your mouth before spitting it out into the sink.
âAll done," you clap your hands, trying to get off the counter.
âYou need to take your makeup off; where are your makeup wipes?â Jungkook asks as he goes through all your skincare and makeup.
âHow the fuck do you know what a makeup wipe is?" You slur, your brows furrowing, as you wrap your arms around your legs and up your chest. âBaby what?â Jungkook laughs at your question, knowing he has taken off your makeup countless times before this one.
âI'm mad now.â You pout, pushing your husband's hands off your knees. "Baby, please, I have only taken your makeup off. I promise." Jungkook raises his pinky, which you only glare at.
âDid you fuck her in the legs-up position? Because thatâs our position.â You slur once again, making Jungkook chuckle in front of you.
âBaby, trust me, I would not fuck anyone in any position that isnât you,â he reassures as you stare at his pinky thatâs still in the air. âOkay,â you pout in defeat, interlocking your pinky with his.
âYou canât be lying because thatâs a pinky promise,â you warn. âOf course, baby,â he says, giving you a kiss on your forehead before opening the small packet. âBe gentle," you whine as you stare at your shirtless boyfriend, who takes a wipeout.
He only nods, holding your neck like a necklace to keep your head straight, and starts taking off your makeup. âIâm hungry,â you say as your eyes flutter closed.
âItâs three in the morning, princess; there's nothing open right now.â Jungkook smiles at your scrunched-up expression. âDid you eat all the cookies?" You peek your eye open. âMaybe..â Jungkook whispers, dropping the dirty wipe in the trash can beside him.
âWhat! You donât even share with me anymore.â You mumble as Jungkook picks you up and makes his way to your shared bed, dropping you on it. âI share everything with you, baby,â he says as he undoes his pants to slide into bed with you.
You stare at your husband through your eyelashes as you struggle to take off your skirt. âNeed help?â Jungkook chuckles under breath as his pants fall to the ground, leaving him in only a pair of black boxers, his print clearly visible.
"Mhm," you nod, biting your lip as you tilt your head to the side to get a better view in between his pants as he reaches for the zipper on your skirt, pulling it down. "Up, baby,â he orders. You do as he says and raise your bottom up, letting him pull your skirt off, leaving you in your thong.
Jungkook drops the skirt on the floor as he watches you lying on the bed with nothing but the black piece of clothing covering your center. His breath rises as he watches you reach between your legs and move your panties to the side, giving him a perfect view of you.
âIâm so wet, baby, help me,â you whine as you run a finger through your drenched slit. "Baby, I canât,â he hushes as his dick twitches in his briefs.Â
âIâm not that drunk anymore, I promise.â You mumble, giving your pussy a little slap. âFuck,â you moan.
Jungkook very much wanted nothing but to slam into you in this exact moment, but did he really not have self-control when it came to you? He thought to himself.
"Please... if not, Iâll just fuck myself with my fingers.â You giggled, bringing your index and middle fingers up to your mouth, sucking and twirling your tongue on the tips, all while remaining eye contact with your husband, whoâs fighting with himself whenever he wants to control himself or fuck you into the mattress.
But when Jungkook saw you insert a finger, he realized he didnât have self-control when it came to you, and actually, he could give zero fucks about it, plus one thousand was nothing compared to you.
âFuck it!â Jungkook grabbed a hold of your hands before pinning them up to your head, making you giggle loudly. âHi.â You giggle as his face is just a few inches away from yours, and his eyes scan your face. âHi.â He chuckles and smashes his lips against yours.
You moan softly as he wastes no time inserting his tongue into your mouth. His tongue glides along yours, making noise each time you part apart to breathe. Jungkook abandons your lips, moving to your neck, licking, sucking, and blowing.
âI want to eat you out,â he mumbles into your neck between sucking, leaving purplish red marks. He slowly makes his way down your body, all while remaining in eye contact with you. You use your elbows to prop yourself up, getting a clear view of your husband between your legs.
He chuckles, blowing a kiss to your clit making your hips buck forward, a choked moan leaves your mouth. âYouâre dripping for me." He runs a finger through your puffy slit, spreading your arousal all over your pussy.Â
You feel your wetness ooze down to your puckered hole and maybe even to the gray sheets underneath you. Jungkook tauntingly hovered over your aching center. âPlease, fuck,â you buck your hips up again, making him pin you down.
Jungkook gives your cunt a long and slow lick, âshit.â You whine, your legs squeezing around his face, as he starts lapping on your clit, swirling and sucking. His saliva and your juices mixing together.
He pushes your legs up, spreading your pussy more for him. As he continues to suck harshly on your clit your fingers rake in his hair, pulling roughly whenever he would non-stop flick his tongue on your bud, making you shake. "Fuck, youâre going to make cum.â Your eyes roll back into your head.
Jungkooks cock is painfully hard in his briefs; he shifts from his position in hope to relieve some of the pressure, but it only twitches in return. Your husband brings his tattooed fingers in front of your face and says, "Suck.â He orders, and he doesn't have to ask twice.
You grab ahold of his hand and insert his three large fingers into your mouth, twirling your tongue on the tip and sucking like you would if you were on your knees in front of him.
A rush of blood rushes to his cock as he watches you suck on his fingers. You pop his fingers out of your mouth.
He tugs on your clit one last time before rubbing your sensitive bud slowly. You choke out a moan.
Jungkook inserts one of his finger pumping it in and out of your gummy walls, sending you back into the mattress. âFuck yes,â you cry. He inserts a second finger, pumping them out quickly, curling them inside you, and hitting your spot each time. You grip tightly onto the sheet as you start to feel dizzy. âIâm coming, shit shit shit,â you cry out. You try to push Jungkook off you as he slides his fingers in and out of you repeatedly, with his tongue flicking your clit sending you over the edge.
Your mouth hangs open as your body shakes uncontrollably. Your pussy clenches around Jungkook's fingers. A rush of fluid squirts out of you, leaving you shaking and gasping for air.
âpretty.â Jungkook chuckles under his breath, giving your pussy a small slap and making you whine from the overstimulation.
Jungkook stands up, watching you squeeze your legs together with your eyes closed and chest heaving. âYou good, baby?â He leans over, kissing your face over and over again until you peek your eyes open, and you giggle nonstop.
âFuck!â You giggle, making Jungkook raise an eyebrow. âSo good,â you giggle, âyeah?â He smirks, leaning in to give you a kiss.
âMhm.â You nod, kissing him back. âLet me return the favor.â You reach for his huge hard on, squeezing.
âLet me just fuck you.â He whispers into your mouth as you giggle in response.
âOkay.â You nod. Jungkook slowly stands up from the bed as you watch him push down his briefs, letting his cock spring free. He grabs ahold of the base, giving it a squeeze, and runs his thumb along his aching red slit before walking closer to you. You bite your lip in anticipation, and you feel yourself getting wetter by the second.
He spits down, letting his saliva drip down onto his cock before giving it two pumps, âlegs up. â He taps your thigh for you to do as he says.
You giggle, pushing your legs up, giving your husband an amazing view of your drenched spread out, dripping core.
âFuck,â he says, aligning himself with your hole and slapping his cock on your pussy multiple times. "Shit, ah,â you moan, digging your nails into your thighs.
Jungkook watches as you clench your pussy over nothing, making his cock twitch. He runs his length over your slit before sliding into you. âOh shit.â You gasp, biting your lip harshly.
Jungkook has always been too big for you, always stretching you out deliciously every time you had sex. Your pussy always took him so well.
"Shit, shit, shit,â you say, closing your eyes as you feel the burn of him sliding deeper into you. âYou can take it, baby.â He hushes, pushing in deeper, and he rubs your clit with his thumb, trying to ease you.Â
You can feel him all the way into your belly as he finally is all the way in you. âYou take me so well, fuck, baby.â Jungkook groans as you clench non-stop around him.
"Move, fuck, ah,â you cry. You didnât have to ask twice, as he started sliding out of your hole before slamming back in. Your nails dig into your thighs, leaving marks as he continues to slide in and out of you repeatedly.Â
Your eyes roll to the back of your head as he slams roughly into you. His hands push your legs down to your chest as he fucks into you, his cock spreading your walls and his tip hitting your g-spot with each thrust.
Jungkook watches his cock disappear into your messy wet cunt; he watches how you spasm every time he pounds into you; your pussy squirts every time he pulls out; but he doesnât stop; he continues to slam back in.
Tears stream down your face from the immense pleasure in your core as you reach between your legs, rubbing your clit furiously. âSuch a good fucking girl, taking my cock so well.â Jungkook says between gritted teeth, as you only reply with a moan.
âLook at you squirting all over my cock.â He pulls out, spurs of liquid come rushing out of you, and your legs shake as your pussy convulses from each spurt. âAhh fuck.â You moan as Jungkook rubs your pussy; your hands reach for his, trying to push him away, but failing as you orgasm with a long, loud moan.
âGood girl.â He groans.
âI can't... fuck,â you choke out, trying to catch your breath. "Yes, you can." Jungkook flips you over to your stomach. âAss up.â He demands giving your ass a spank.Â
You bring your ass up in the air, leaving your upper body laying on the bed totally spent. âFuck pussy, so messy." Jungkook runs his cock through your pussy before sliding back in.
"Shit, this angle fucks me up,â he groans, getting ahold of your waist and squeezing roughly, probably leaving marks, as he slams into you. You dig your head into the mattress, biting onto the sheets, silencing your screams. The wet sound of him pounding into you and your screams are the only things being heard in the room.
âYou love being fucked like this, huh?â He moans, pounding into you from behind. You donât reply.Â
He pulls out and pulls your hair up. âAnswer me. You love being fucked like this, huh?â He whispers into your ear, your back arched against him.
âYes.â You cry, and tears stream down your face. âYes what? Baby.â He chuckles from your disheveled state, âI love being fucked like this.â You stutter over your words; the only thing your brain can comprehend is that you wanted to come again for the third time.
And with that, he lets you go. As you fall back down onto the bed, Jungkook spreads your ass cheeks, watching your pussy and asshole clench over nothing. âSpread open.â He orders you.
Jungkook watches how you do as he says and spread yourself open for him. He takes the base of his cock and aligns himself with your other hole. He rubs over some of your arousal to your asshole, inserting the tip of his cock before pushing the rest of his length inside you, âFuckk.â You moan loudly, "Relax, baby.â He groans loudly at how tight it is.
This is not the first time Jungkook has fucked your ass, but the stretch of his cock always feels like the first time. He stays for a few moments, still waiting for you to adjust. "Go," you whimper. A green light for him to thrust.
He spreads you open more, watching his cock slip out of your hole before thrusting back in slowly. You moan under him, and you reach under him, rubbing your clit softly as tears run down your cheeks.
âSuch a good fucking girl.â Jungkook moans, squeezing your ass and restraining himself from pounding into you at that very moment.
You insert two of your fingers into your pussy, sliding them in and out as Jungkook slides his cock into your ass. "Faster, please,â you whine, fucking your fingers into you as Jungkook speeds up his movements.
Your legs shake barely holding up as he pounds into roughly moaning loudly each time you clench, âYou fucking like that?â He chokes out each slam he thrusts into you. âKeep taking it, baby.â His balls slam into your pussy, which each push.
âFuck so good.â He moans, not stopping his movements. Both of you are sweating as you bite down on the gray sheets, feeling your pussy spasms with liquid with each thrust. âIâm coming.â You shriek,
âGo ahead, baby.â Jungkook's eyes roll to the back of his head, watching you shake underneath him. His body locks up, and black and white spots fill his vision as his dick twitches in you before spilling his seed into you with a loud groan.
âOh fuck.â Jungkook pants as he slides out of your ass, his come oozing out of you. You fall onto the bed, your legs shaking uncontrollably as you whimper softly from the outstanding orgasm you just went through.
"Fuck, are you okay, baby?â Jungkook makes his way to you, flipping you over to be able to see your face. You whimper softly with your hands covering your face. "Shit, baby, did I hurt you?â He panics, shooting straight up and taking your hands off your face.
He sees the tears streaming down your face, and that sends a blow to his heart. "Baby, where does it hurt?â He scans your body and tries to soothe your shaking legs, rubbing his palms up and down your thighs.
âIâm okay.â You whimper between cries.Â
âThen why are you crying, my love?â He pulls you up into a sitting position before kissing your tear-stained cheeks. "felt so good.â You cry. A wave of relief hits Jungkook. "Baby," he chuckles, giving you kisses all over your face.
âI wonât be able to walk tomorrow.â You cry as he laughs softly while standing up, finding his briefs on the ground before stepping into them. He goes into your guys' shared closet looking for a pair of underwear for you and one of his shirts.
"Here, baby, let me help you.â He makes his way to you; he sits beside you as he helps you put on your panties and his shirt.
âDo you need anything?â Jungkook asks, putting your hair behind your ear. âNo, I'm super tired; I want to cuddle.â You say snuggling under the covers with a big smile on your face, and Jungkook follows in beside you.
âŠ
The next morning, Jungkook called in for an emergency meeting as he was waiting for the boys to come in. Taehyung arrives first with a guilty expression on his face, and before Jungkook could ask whatâs up, Hoseok and Namjoon come striding in. And not long after all the boys started striding in.
âSo..â Jungkook starts, âI fucked up.â And with that, he drops a thousand on the table in front of the boys. Nobody moves, and nobody says anything until,
"Oh, thank God, and I thought it was going to be just me." Taehyung drops a wad of cash, with the rest of the boys following along, dropping cash on the table.
âAre you fucking serious!?â Namjoon stares at his friends with his jaw wide open. âAm I the only one who took this seriously?â Namjoon shook his head at his friends.
âHonestly, I don't regret it at all.â Jungkook shrugs.

LOVE ME BACK â yu jimin
after a nasty breakup with your boyfriend of two years, you find solace in a bar and a mystery womanâs arms. you were convinced it was just a one time thing. yet, you didnât expect to see her again at your workplace.
TAGS â fluff, lowk crack, suggestive themes, mentions of sex and alcohol, ceo!rina, office au, reader has a boyfriend (at first), hwang hyunjin as plot device, mentions of cheating, probably a hr violation, jealousy, hidden relationship, cursing
WORDCOUNT â 10.3k
when you were younger, your dream was to be an astronaut. now in your early twenties, youâve succumbed to the average 9-5 job that every adult hates. your job was a pain in the neck, figuratively and literally. staring at a computer all day was tough work, but if you said that out loud, you would seem like a lunatic.
your hands dance bleakly across the keyboard, fingers tapping insistently to finish the report. maybe you would even get home on time today. a vibration from your phone distracts your focus, a message from your boyfriend.
staring at the notification, you sigh and pick up your phone to text back. itâs a chain of messages, ranging from urgent calls to angry scoldings. your eyes narrow as a call comes in, displaying, hyun âĄ.
âhyunjin oppa,â you whisper, âiâm at work.â
âyouâre still at work? i thought i told you that my sisterâs visiting today? my mumâs cooking for you.â
groaning internally, you reply softly, âiâm really sorry but this report will probably take half an hour more. tell unnie and auntie iâll be late.â
hyunjinâs voice rings through the phone, irritated, âi told you about it. did you forget or are you just not willing to spend time with my family?â
âi didnât forget, seriously, and you know i love your family and your mumâs cooking.â
thatâs kind of a lie. you werenât really welcomed with his family. his mother had objected to your relationship from the get go. his father was cold and indifferent. his sister was the only one who actually talked to you. but his motherâs cooking was good.
âyouâre prioritising your work over spending time with me,â hyunjin states.
âi made this clear from the start,â you pinch your nose bridge, âmy job always comes first.â
his annoyed tone shines through, bright as day, âi donât get why youâre still working at that firm. i can provide for the both of us.â
you sigh, frustrated at hyunjinâs insolence.
âi enjoy this job,â a lie, âi donât want to just stay in my apartment all day with nothing to do and i worked hard to get here.â true.
âthatâs why you should just move in with me.â with that mother of his? no way in hell.
âi like my apartment,â you say firmly, glancing at the unfinished report open, âoppa, if youâre just going to scold me, at least do it later. iâm working now.â
âyouâre always working. how can you work so much? y/n, are you preoccupied with something else? or someone?â
anger bubbles lowly in your veins.
âwhat on earth are you saying?â
âiâm saying that you may be busy with someone. whatever, if youâre always working, letâs just end things here. i canât always be waiting for you at home.â
âyou donât make time for me either. on my off-days, you always hang out with your friends. how many dates have you cancelled?â
âiâm sorry i have a social life. my life doesnât revolve around spending time with you. if you have a problem with it, letâs break up.â
you roll your eyes. you would be amused at how a 24 year old would think so irrationally, if that 24 year old wasnât breaking up with you right now. your hand forms a fist on the table. maybe hyunjin was fine with lazing around at home, letting his mother serve him like a maid. but you werenât. hyunjin didnât have any ambitions, dropping out of college after his first year, claiming it was too difficult. you had only cooed at him gently, his first and only year at college was when you met him and started dating.
âfine. letâs break up as you wish. ask yeji unnie to pack my things at your house, iâll pick it upââ
the call ends abruptly, youâre baffled at his childish antics. groaning, you throw your head into your hands. was your two year relationship really ending here? over a phone call? tossing your phone to the side, you perk up, determined to take your mind off your boyfriend. you still had a job to do after all.
yet, the thought of losing the two years youâve spent with hyunjin makes you frown. he wasnât a bad boyfriend. he was a nice guy, most of the time. he was a man after all, he had his stupid moments. spending two years with him meant that some part of you actually liked him. maybe not to the extent of love. youâve never thought about it.
is that why he broke up with you? because you werenât in it for love? was hwang hyunjin just another guy for you to past time with? if you couldnât find love with a guy like hyunjin, whoâs good looking and well-mannered, who could you find love with? were you some emotionless robot who didnât care for othersâ feelings?
forcefully removing these persisting questions from your head, you focus on the report. missing fabric, wrong dimensions, plagiarised designs, what was wrong with this fashion company?
âsunbae, still not clocking out?â kim minjeong, the new intern and coincidentally, your junior from high school, peeks above your computer. you shake your head, smiling sheepishly at her, âdonât call me sunbae, Iâm ms seo right now.â
minjeong pouts, âsorry, iâm just not used to it. and youâre only like, a year older. want me to wait for you?â
you eye the report with distain, grimacing, âitâs okay, minjeong. you can go first, i think this will take a long time.â
the younger girl nods and quickly leaves. youâve never wished you were someone else so badly before. your eyes follow minjeong from her cubicle to the lift. you slap your cheeks, willing yourself to focus.
after a few excruciating long hours, you clap your hands merrily, eyes gleaming with excitement and happiness. the stupid report was finally finished! you hum happily as you pack up your things. once you had picked up your bag, a notification graces your phone.
swiping up, itâs a text from yeji, warning you that hyunjin had left the house urgently. concerned, but not panicking, you reply saying that maybe he went out for fresh air. yejiâs next few messages are about how their mother is blaming you for hyunjinâs bad mood.
whatever. you canât find it in yourself to care.
still overjoyed by the fact you had finished the mundane report, you head down to the lobby, grinning. a few employees who were still there eyed you weirdly but you brushed them off. today was a good day, despite stupid hyunjin.
as the doors open, you bring out your phone. no new messages from hyunjin or yeji. maybe it was partially your fault for making promises you couldnât keep. ugh. the late night graces your presence, streets filled with busy cars. you check the time, 8pm. you should take your mind off hyunjin. and what better way to do so than to go get drunk?
you quickly text yizhuo, whoâs probably also drinking right now.
seo y/n [8.26pm]:
are u at jiwoongâs bar?
i just ended
ning yizhuo [8.27pm]:
howâd you know?
iâm drinking with chenle
come unnie
chenle? you furrow your brows. wasnât he that super rich kid who yizhuo plays video games with? ah, whatever, you seriously need to get drunk now.
swiftly hauling down a cab (honestly, props to you. calling a taxi at night was basically war), you make your way to the bar.
itâs a relatively new establishment, furnished with matte dark oak floorings and a sleek marble bar. it was the closest bar to your workplace, making it a common meeting area for you and your co-workers. normally, during the last day of each month, team manager kim would bring you to go drinking. you push at the doors, the sight of two figures yelling at each other greet you. usually, you would have ignored it. itâs a bar, itâs common to have drunk people fighting. yet, when you squinted closely, realisation struck you.
âhyunjin?â you gasp, âwhat are you doing here?â
your ex-boyfriend swerves around, eyes blazing with fury as yizhuo curses at him.
âwhere were you?â he demands, âi texted you multiple times.â
you turn on your phone, grimacing at the countless messages.
âit was on silent mode. if you want to talk, letâs go outside, donât disturb the people here.â
yizhuo attempts to follow but you just hold a hand out. if hyunjin hurt yizhuo, you would never forgive yourself. besides, this was something you had to do alone.
begrudgingly, hyunjin agrees and exits the bar. out in the street, you take note of his dishevelled self.
âwhyâd you decide to come here? i know youâre here to find another guy. who is it? iâll fucking kill him,â hyunjin seethes. you notice the slight flush in his face. was he drunk?
unable to remain passive, you say firmly, âhyunjin, you said you wanted to break up. now that iâve seen you, letâs break up.â
âare you fucking serious?â he asks incredulously, âi came all the way here to find you and you are the one breaking up with me?â
you retort, âyou are the one who said you want to end things. if i found another guy, so what? weâre not dating anymore.â
your last few words hit a nerve. hyunjinâs hands fly out to grab your arms, furiously digging his fingernails into your wrists.
âiâll fucking kill you if you leave me for another man, donât test me seo y/n,â he growls. disgusted, you try to escape from his hold. being taller and a guy, heâs obviously stronger. you feel your skin breaking at the edge.
âlet go!â you grit your teeth, trying to pry his fingers off. he relentlessly grips on, even managing to avoid any attempts of your escape.
slow, steady footsteps approach. you notice the look of anxiety on hyunjinâs face. what would this look like to an outsider? his grip doesnât lessen however. the figure opens the doors, raising an eyebrow.
âwhat the hell are you looking at?â hyunjin snarls. your eyes fly to the stranger. itâs a woman, thank god.
despite your current predicament, you canât help but admire the woman staring at you. her face was sculpted by the gods; dark, deep, hypnotising eyes, a tall nose bridge, red, full lips that formed a thin line.
âwhy are you assaulting a woman?â god, you could just die hearing her voice. husky and intimidating, hyunjin was practically quivering in his feet.
âi-iâm not doing anything! youâre the one staring at us, bitch.â
her eyes narrow and she scoffs, âdid your mother teach you any manners? i was just concerned for her safety,â she gestures to you, âit seems as if youâre holding her here, unwilling to let go.â
âiâm not doing jackshit.â
your eyes bore into her, calling out for help.
âah,â the stranger inches closer, fingers trailing from your shoulder to your arm. you shudder at her touch. she smirks, âwhy donât you let her go now? or should i call the police on you, hwang hyunjin?â
hyunjinâs face turns red. nervousness grows at the sight of his anger.
âhow the fuck do you know my name?â
she tilts her head, reminiscent of a curious puppy, âoh, donât you know who i am? tell your father if his son acts up again, we might not continue our deal.â
âhow do you know my dad?â hyunjin yells, âand what deal do you have with him?â
âiâm your fatherâs biggest business partner. how would he feel if he found out he lost his company because of his idiot son? or would you want me to reveal some of your own secrets? whatâs her name, jiyeon?â
your eyes widen at the mention of hyunjinâs ex. he had broken up with lee jiyeon months before meeting you. why was this stranger bringing her up again? and how did she know so much?
hyunjin glances at you, âdonât you fucking dare.â
by now, hyunjin had let go of your hand entirely. the stranger just sighs dramatically and stares at her fingernails.
âhyunjin-ssi, you really have a knack for being a public nuisance. i just wanted a drink, and my precious evening was interrupted by you screaming. ah, should you really be concerned about your ex-girlfriend finding a new guy? havenât you already done so while still in the relationship?â
in a second, hyunjin lunges for the stranger. his hands fly out to grab at her hair, but she manages to dodge the sudden attack. frowning at hyunjin, the stranger finally scoffs, âyouâre pathetic. donât you dare touch my clothes, theyâre designer. leave now before i call the cops on you.â despite his anger, hyunjin actually looks spooked and quickly stomps away. thank god. she swats off the imaginary dust on her shoulders and turns to you.
in contrast to before, she sends a small smile, âyou did a good job breaking up with this idiot.â
âthank you for saving me.â
she shrugs, âitâs all right. he was being a nuisance.â
âiâm sorryâŠâ you ask, âbut how did you know so much about hyunjin?â
âi deal with the hwang group. i have met his father on several occasions. sometimes, he has to clean up his sonâs mess. most of the time, he canât do it alone. hence, he finds us,â her smile turns into a grimace, âi apologise that someone like him has been taking advantage of you. i assure you that hwang hyunjin and park jiyeon will be taken care of.â
âno, itâs okay, i kind of had a feeling already,â you hesitate to reach out to her, âuhm, can i know your name?â
the stranger adjusts her clothes; a black pantsuit. your eyes trail down from her face to her luminous black hair. they follow the shape of her jawline, sharp as a knife, down to her collarbones. you unconsciously swallow your saliva.
âyou can call me jimin,â she says, taking a piece of card out from her pocket, handing it to you. your eyes skim the details. yu jimin. nothing else is on the card except for a phone number. âwhat can i call you?â
ây/n, seo y/n.â
âif you find yourself in another situation as such, i will do my best to help, y/n.â
you canât believe a woman like her is pledging her assistance to you.
unable to control yourself, you blurt out, âwhat can i do to repay you?â
jiminâs eyes form into slits, crinkling into a devilish smile.
âwhat are you insinuating?â
everything around you is soft, pillowy and warm. except for one. the incessant buzzing of something. it snaps you out of your reverie. groaning loudly, you throw your hand to reach out for the device causing the vibration. your fingers hit an unfamiliar surface. since when did you have a bedside table this close? eyelids fluttering open, you regain consciousness.
âwhat the hell?â you say out loud, sitting upright in bed. your phone lays beside you, its buzzing unable to distract you from what youâre seeing. white silk sheets covered your bare body, which was littered with bite marks and hickeys. it trailed on from your neck to the dip in your hips. lingering bruises were left on your thighs too.
oh fuck.
you were screwed.
grasping your phone, you scan the room for your clothes. finally catching sight of your scattered clothes, you gently pick them up, face turning red at the sight of your well-marked body. your purse and belongings are littered all over the floor as well. a disgruntled groan emits from the bunched up blankets. itâs only now you realise thereâs a person below it, snoring peacefully.
wincing at the slight soreness in your lower body, you gently throw the duvet cover off you and slowly put on your clothes, afraid of disturbing the sleeping woman. taking one last look at the bed, a mop of black hair contrasting the pale serene face below.
running your hands through your hair to comb the mess, you rush out of the bedroom. the sight before you leaves you in awe. whoever this jimin person was, her apartment was amazingly furnished. whatever, you shake your head before you could be further distracted.
thereâs countless messages left by yizhuo, all inquiring about your whereabouts. shit. you forgot to tell her. after assuring her that you were alive and not kidnapped, you quickly navigate your way back home. surprisingly, jiminâs modern apartment wasnât far away from yours, despite the contrast between the two homes. you could infer accurately that karina was some wealthy bachelorette who held power. between her penthouse and the conversation with hyunjin, she was probably a high rank in the business industry.
after reaching your house, you take a much needed shower and slip into a white button up blouse and a black pencil skirt. this was your usual office attire. thankfully, as you had finished the looming report the previous night, you didnât have to get to the office early. finishing up with some light makeup, you head out satisfied. the soreness in your lower body serves as a constant reminder of the activities you took part in. at least you didnât have a hangover.
entering the lounge, you spot your colleagues all conversing with one another. minjeong seems to be in a heated debate. your eyes dart to the figure standing by the counter.
âgood morning, ms seo,â you bow when team manager kim greets you. kim gaeul, two years your senior, and somewhat of a friend.
âgood morning,â you reply. gaeul is sipping on the coffee from the cafe opposite. she gestures towards the paper bag on the counter, âthereâs a latte in there for you. good job on the report, i read it this morning.â
you beam at the manager, âthank you so much.â desperately, you chug the latte, relieved that you had caffeine in your body to survive the day ahead. gaeul stares at you in amusement before clearing her throat, ânow that everyone is here, i would like to announce that a new ceo will be coming.â
thereâs some mutters and murmurs of confusion.
âour current ceo will be resigning,â gaeul says, a fixed smile on her face, âhence the need for a new ceo. she will be here shortly. at ten, please gather in the meeting room so she can introduce herself to all of us.â
you check the time, it was forty past nine. the new ceo will be coming soon. was there enough time to get any work done before she arrived? probably not. you sit down next to minjeong on the couch. she catches you mid yawn.
âsunbae, did you get enough sleep?â your ears blush at the memory of what happened.
âmaybe i didnât sleep well,â you say. minjeong nods, a look of pity on her face, âyou must have gotten home late because of that report.â
you scratch your neck, âyeah, i got home pretty late.â
âmaybe you can take a quick nap? you still have twenty minutes, iâll wake you up.â
shaking your head, you chuckle, âitâs okay, minjeong. iâll get through the day. at least team manager kim got us all coffee.â
despite your words, you find your eyelids fluttering close every second. maybe you should really take a nap. the events of the previous night had left you incredibly tired. breaking up with hyunjin was emotionally draining, whereas jimin⊠you rid the thoughts from your brain. it would serve you no good to be thinking about her right now. she was just a helpful woman who you repaid by sleeping with. at least it was enjoyable. you certainly enjoyed the feel of her warm body against yours. even before you start to reminisce, minjeong jolts upwards and exclaims, âtime to go meet the ceo!â
the rest of the group follows suit, heading towards the lift. you wearily drag yourself to follow along, an arm looped through minjeong for support.
âyâall think sheâll be pretty?â a voice rings out from the crowd.
âarenât most ceos like forty years old?â
âwomen donât expire past the age of forty, mark,â you retort. mark only smirks, âmaybe sheâll be a hot cougar.â
you roll your eyes at his words, yet you canât help but imagine what the new ceo would be like. would she be intimidating? confrontational? you just hope she wonât be unreasonable. god knows you need a break from this absurd company. the only good thing about it was its pay and the people you work with.
âquiet down everyone,â gaeul says, âsheâs coming soon, please be on your best behaviour.â she shoots a look at the rowdy group of guys nearer to the back. you try to inch closer to the front, the denial of your curiosity itching at you. despite your tired state, there was still some interest in the next ceo. âthere she is!â minjeong whispers loudly.
your head flies to look up, mouth agape as your eyes bore into the womanâs frame. under the exquisite fabric draped over her, you could still sense her elegance. the way her steps echoed against the tiles, commanding everyoneâs attention. your heart drops at the familiarity.
oh.
oh no.
below her bright red, glossy lips, resides a beauty mark.
you remember your own lips moulding against hers from the night before. the feel of her burning skin on top of your equally desperate body. her lingering touches, fingers tracing down from your collarbone.
âsheâs pretty,â minjeong blurts out. you nod.
she was a goddess, aphrodite incarnated. you distinctively recall how sweet her words were, how her voice toned down to a husky drawl, whispering the things she would do to you. a shiver runs down your body, you clench your fists. how were you getting riled up over a memory?
your eyes follow her as she turns to face everyone. her face remains impassive as she addresses the crowd, âi am your ceo, karina.â cold, narrow eyes flick through the gathering, eventually meeting yours. if anyone else had looked closer, they would have noticed the shock in the way her eyes widen ever so slightly. yet, she swiftly regains herself.
âplease do carry on as usual,â she says, you canât believe sheâs the same person as the jimin from last night, âi will be conducting a meeting later. do not be late.â
as her footsteps recede, you let out an exhale of breath. having her eyes on you made it hard to breathe, she literally took your breath away. minjeong eyes you curiously, but the crowd quickly disperses, sensing that karina was not to be messed with. they would rather get back to their jobs than deal with an angry ceo.
after heading back up, you finally sit down on your office chair, finding it more comfortable than usual. normally, it felt like it was forcing your spine in the most unnatural way. yet, after that interaction with jimin, you found solace in it.
âguys! ceo wants everyone in the meeting room now!â gaeulâs head pops out from the room, hurriedly gesturing for everyone to come. you reluctantly rise and walk to the room slowly. jiminâs already standing inside, a stony look on her face as she analyses a file of papers, presumably reports.
once everyone had entered and were settled down, jimin places the file back on the table, eyes roaming around as she says, âthis company will collapse within a yearâs time if i did not take the offer to buy it. hence, starting from now, there will be extreme changes.â
you take a gulp.
âfirst of all, we have to start investing more of our time into doing trade and business with others. isolating ourselves and believing that we can become successful without the help of others is idiotic,â jimin explains, âwe should take the initiative and with someone like me at the helm, this company will flourish.â she hands out an assortment of papers around the room.
âthis will tell you everything you need to know about your duties as an employee of this company. do take the time to read through thoroughly. i assure you with such a strategy, no one will need to work more than they have to.â
you can see some impressive looks from your colleagues. jimin was definitely a strong ceo, you already knew from how well-connected she was. yet, this would be your first time seeing her work ethic in action.
âeveryone is dismissed. however,â jimin turns back around, eyes gleaming with mirth, âseo y/n, i want to meet you in my office.â
every inch of you freezes up. you sense some curiosity lingering around your colleagues, especially minjeong who offers a comforting pat on your shoulder. jiminâs lips form a devilish smile, akin to the one you saw previously. you sigh, already regretting all life choices thus far.
the door closes shut behind you. jimin sits down in her luxurious and pristine office chair. you kind of envy her.
a moment of silence passes before jimin speaks, âi did not expect to see you here.â
âneither did i,â you answer back. her appearance was a shock.
she chuckles slowly, âafter leaving me in bed alone, with no note or anything, should i fire you?â
your eyes widen. what the hell? wasnât this an abuse of authority? she couldnât fire you that easily, right? over something that wasnât even related to your job!
âyou seem to not be able to finish your job, seo y/n,â jimin spins a fountain pen between her fingers. your gaze darts from the swirling pen to her face. indifferent, yet a hint of amusement.
âi assure you i am a hard worker and the night before is not related to my work ethic,â you reply.
jimin laughs, âdo you not know how upset i was when i did not feel a body next to me? my sheets tidied up neatly, clothes gone and not a single hint of you left behind.â
âlast night was a one-time thing,â you state firmly, âit will not happen again as i intend it to.â
the ceoâs eyes rake down your body, seemingly turning into satisfaction as she smiles, âyou do not intend for it to happen again?â
âi⊠thank you for saving and helping me with my ex-boyfriend, but youâre my boss now and itâs probably a workplace violation.â
âso it is not because you do not want to, more so you feel that you are not allowed to,â jimin bluntly says. sheâs right. you would like to indulge in the pleasure she provides once more, and continuously, but sheâs your boss.
your silence speaks of your answer.
âit is unexpected that we have met under these circumstances. i wonât lie and say that iâm fine with forgetting about the night we spent together. huh. i wanted a date⊠yet, if you insistâŠâ
jimin stands up from her desk, staring at the city skyline. you stare at her hooded eyes in the reflection of the window panel.
âyou may leave,â she smiles, âbut do call me karina and not jimin in front of others. they do not know my real name.â
you nod, unsure how to reply. were you meant to feel special that she had so willingly spared her real name to you? with others not privy of her name, you were the only one. jimin closes the door firmly behind you. youâre greeted by the sight of an anxious minjeong and a smirking mark lee.
âwhat did she say to you? and how did she know your name already?â minjeong asks hastily.
âjust talking âbout work,â you answer smoothly, âwe have a mutual friend.â
mark, bless him, adds on, âsheâs prettier up close, right?â
âyeah,â you reply, cheeks reddening. you were well acquainted with her beauty by now, finding yourself momentarily starstruck.
âmust be nice having the ceo know you,â minjeong says, sighing. you smile, but it comes out more like a grimace. was it really a blessing?
no, of course it wasnât. you slept with your boss. unintentionally, in fact. you head back to your desk, hands almost ripping out your hair as you gaze at the closed door.
what have you gotten yourself into now?
youâre annoyed. irritated. angered. all because of your ceo. jimin doesnât do anything outlandish, no. but she throws a mountain of work onto you. and only you. her previous promise of no one having to work more than they need to is out the window. you can only scoff, ashamed that you truly believed she would let you leave by five. however, it seems that jimin is rather petty. every time you snap back with a remark, she just smiles and places one more report on your desk a few minutes later. itâs maddening. was she not abusing her power?
the stack of papers on your desk feels never ending. compared to your colleagues, itâs clearly taller. even minjeong had commented about it. if the sudden increase of workload wasnât enough, jimin also demanded you to do the most trivial things, such as fetching her coffee, shredding papers⊠did she not have enough money to afford a personal assistant? you were just an employee to the company. after bringing up your concerns to gaeul, the team manager merely shrugged, saying she could not do anything against the ceo. and it wasnât as if jimin was outright abusing you. she was so clearly just messing with you!
(âyouâre joking,â you gape at the pile of paperwork jimin was carrying to your table.
âhow is this a joke to you?â jimin asks, a stern look on her face, but the small grin she wore betrayed her facade.)
this wasnât any different from your life before the new ceo came. honestly, it might be worse. you had more work than ever, overtime was becoming a necessity in your life, and jimin just gets to prance around. you seriously had to take the initiative to discuss this, because what on earth.
finally deciding you had enough of jiminâs antics, you stand up from your desk, leaving the heaps of papers undone. determined, you take long strides, arriving at the door of jiminâs office. some of your colleagues eye you weirdly but they donât make a sound. you just ignore them. not even knocking, you open the door. if jimin notices your presence, she doesnât show it. her face is buried in a file, eyes darting from the report to the computer screen. you swallow, drawing courage from every fibre of your being.
âi need to talk to you.â
jiminâs head shoots up, an eyebrow raised. her bangs are parted today, no longer hovering over her eyes. the first few buttons of her black blouse are unbuttoned, revealing her carved collarbones. a pair of thick, black framed glasses rest on her sharp nose.
âabout?â
âyouâre messing with me,â you state.
the ceo stares. she looks rather dishevelled today, you wonder why.
âinteresting. how did you come to that conclusion?â she asks, placing the file back onto her desk, her eyes fully focused on you now. trying to not get hypnotised by her forceful peering, you voice out, âyouâve been giving me more work than others. you always find some excuse to make me do stuff. iâve worked here for three years and youâre making me an errand girl.â
itâs true. it feels like sheâs just giving you filler work to do. there hasnât been any improvement at all.
âi⊠i thought you would be different,â you admit, âdifferent from our previous ceo. but it feels like nothing has changed. iâm still working overtime with no end in sight and it feels even worse than before.â
jimin doesnât say a word. itâs the first time youâre saying this to anyone, your true feelings. jimin had made such big promises at the first meeting but after two months, there really wasnât any change.
âi give you more work because youâre more capable,â jimin explains, a grim look on her face.
âthat doesnât excuse the fact you literally demand me to run around and make you coffee.â
âi canât deny, that was for my personal amusement.â
your anger flares up, âsee! youâre messing with me!â
âyour reaction is funny,â she reasons weakly, âitâs really⊠i didnât know it was taking a toll on you. i just wanted to see you get annoyed. you look cute when youâre grumpy.â
the previous frustration simmers down completely at her words. cute? was it appropriate for your boss to be saying this?
âwhat?â
jimin looks away shyly, a stark contrast to her intimidating facade, âiâll try to restrain myself from now on⊠but i would like to talk to you about something as well.â
your curiosity is piqued. jiminâs face turns dark, her eyes narrowing as she asks, âare you and mark in a relationship?â
a gasp escapes your lips, because what the fuck?
âno, ew,â you instantly say, âmark acts like a kid.â
âso you have no romantic feelings for him?â jimin repeats.
âno, none at all.â somehow, you know why sheâs even asking in the first place.
jimin frowns, âso why were you touching his face that day?â
you remember it vividly. mark was showing you the netflix movie, â365 daysâ and stating that you could recreate it with jimin. he was joking with you, but you still got flustered. minjeong had been laughing so loudly it attracted the ceo to come into the break room. she has witnessed your hands grabbing markâs collar, in the midst of threatening him.
âhe was just saying something weird,â you mumble, not exactly willing to tell jimin she was the cause. the ceo nods. you canât help but like this jimin slightly more than the brooding one. she seems more vulnerable today. more gentle and soft.
âokay,â jimin smiles, wider than usual, âyou can leave now.â
you bow, slightly happier that the ceo was understanding of your concerns. maybe now you would get home on time, not that you had anyone waiting for you though. after your break up with hyunjin, you had increasingly found more alone time. sometimes you would spend the night with yizhuo, cooking dinner together. most times you would reach home and immediately fall asleep.
content with the meeting, you leave her office, bouncing back to your desk. the stack of papers feel considerably lighter knowing her true reasoning behind piling so much workload on you. perhaps she had more faith and trust in you. that made you feel proud.
a head peeks out above the partition.
âwhat did the boss talk to you about?â minjeong asks. you wave a hand at her, brushing her words off, ânothing really. karina was just telling me stuff about my job, giving comments, yâknow.â
minjeong nods and ducks her head, returning to her work. you do the same, the weight previously resting on your shoulders significantly lighter. the day doesnât seem so gloomy anymore.
you carry on typing with a small smile. unbeknownst to you, a pair of eyes gaze through the blinds.
jimin stays true to her word. despite the heavier workload, your heart feels lighter that she acknowledged your ability. it doesnât bother you anymore that minjeong and the rest of your colleagues can leave instantly while you stay for a bit longer to refine some finer details. deeply engrossed, you donât notice the sudden pattering of raindrops splashing against the windows. and you definitely donât notice the light in jiminâs office still on.
stretching your arms, you yawn, intending to go home. yet, the moment you start packing your bag, realisation strikes you that it was raining. raining heavily. as you try to decide your next move, the door to jiminâs office opens.
her head peeks out, a frown on her face as she calls out, âwhy are you still here?â
âi was doing something and i just lost track of time,â you explain. jiminâs head tilts. you internally coo at the similarity of her to a puppy.
she takes one look outside and asks, âhow are you going to get home? donât you take the bus?â
you scrunch your nose, trying to think of a way to return home without being caught in the rain but with no avail.
âno idea,â you shrug, âi might call my friend to pick me up or something. not sure if sheâs busy though.â
jimin takes long strides towards you, âi can drive you home.â
your eyes widen considerably, âno, itâs really okay!â you donât know what you would do enclosed in a small space with her without other people around. she looks extra delectable today as well. usually, her hair is neat and proper, but today itâs slightly messy and her bangs are swept to the side, exposing her forehead. she still wears the pair of attractive black glasses and sheâs adorning a navy pantsuit today.
âas your boss,â jimin smiles, âi need to ensure that all my employees are cared for. i canât have you coming to work sick, can i?â you canât really fight her logic there. it makes sense, she wouldnât want you to get sick because she would lose manpower. yet, the explanation digs a hole in your heart.
sheâs your boss.
you glance at the rain splattering.
âokay. take me home.â
jiminâs smile widens. you walk together in silence to the elevator. only the soft humming of her voice fills in the gaps. the silence stretches on till you reach her car as well. itâs only when you try to enter the backseat, jimin says, âwhat are you doing? come sit here.â she pats the passenger seat. you follow her instructions like a dog with its owner.
as the ceo starts up the car, you notice small details of it. itâs clearly expensive, no doubt. the sleek leather you were sitting on just speaks for itself. jimin had an air freshener hanging from the mirror, the strangest thing was that it was a dinosaur smelling of vanilla. she had a small shiro, the dog from shin-chan, figurine posed on the dashboard. you quietly giggle at the cuteness of it all. jimin having adorable items accessorising her car was such a stark contrast to her distant and cold persona as your boss.
âthatâs cute,â you point out. jimin glances at what youâre pointing at and her cheeks redden, âah. do you like shin-chan too?â
âuh,â you blank out, âi guess so? i like boo.â
jimin beams.
âthatâs amazing,â she says with all the sincerity in the world, âletâs watch shin-chan together someday.â
itâs a strange proposal, no doubt. but you find yourself nodding too soon. the grin you receive from jimin is well worth it though.
âyou can key in your address here,â she hands you her phone. as you type, jimin continues talking, âi broke off my deal with hwang by the way. has he contacted you at all?â
you shake your head, âno, but his sister has been texting me. apparently heâs very disoriented and is always drunk. he got into a scandal recently for starting a fight at another bar.â
jimin sighs, one of bemusement, âi truly wonder where such men get their audacity from.â you giggle at her words.
âhonestly, hyunjin is childish and immature but heâs a good guy,â you confess, âi donât know why he suddenly turned into someone like that.â
the ceo falls silent. you wonder if you said something wrong. maybe you offended her in some way. gulping, you distract yourself by watching the scenery of urbanised skyscrapers.
âyouâre giving him too much credit,â jimin says, âheâs always been like that. heâs just a good actor.â
âreally?â
jimin nods firmly, âof course. and did you really like him? or did you just like having him around?â
you debate on answering. wasnât this too personal for someoneâs boss to ask? your eyes swerve to watch jiminâs grip tighten on the steering wheel, her small hands showing white knuckles.
âthereâs many things that are mistaken for another, such as liking someone and liking the idea of them.â
âwhat other things are you talking about?â you ask, genuinely curious.
the traffic light turns red. jimin presses on the brakes, a smirk plastered on her face as she turns to you.
âlike finding someone good-looking and attractive. i know iâm good-looking, but am i attractive to you, y/n?â she leans forward, her face inches away from yours. your eyes unintentionally trail down to her lips before snapping shut and turning away.
âdonât leave me hanging,â you can hear the damn pout in her voice. a warm hand leaves a fleeting touch on your arm as she pulls you to look back at her again.
you resist the urge to throw yourself out of the car.
âthe lightâs green,â your voice comes out almost as if you were constipated.
jimin lets out a hearty laugh.
âwe can settle this debate back at yours, donât you think?â your hands clench by your side, neck strained to crane your head away from looking at the delectable woman.
âi donât think thatâs appropriate,â is what you end up saying. jimin shrugs. your eyes are drawn to the smooth expanse of her hands that rest against the steering wheel, and the way her knuckles unintentionally flex when turning.
âweâre far past appropriation,â she states, amused.
shrugging, you stare at the outside scenery instead, ensuring that you wouldnât be salivating at the sight of your boss.
jimin hums to the music playing in her car. you roughly recognise it as a song from the pokemon anime ost. somehow, itâs totally believable that this domineering boss could also have a silly and endearing side to her. it was yu jimin after all.
âwhat are you thinking so hard about?â
you.
âwork.â
âwhat about it? is the workload too heavy for you?â the concern in her voice makes you want to puke.
you shake your head.
âiâm just thinking⊠about that day,â you decide to answer truthfully.
jimin tilts her head, âwhat day?â
âyou knowâŠâ it comes out in a hushed and embarrassed whisper, âthat day.â
either jiminâs stupid or sheâs just playing dumb. she stares at you, confused. you make some inappropriate gestures with your fingers, until she lights up in recognition.
âthat day?â she repeats teasingly.
itâs not like you can ask her for a repeat of that day. you had literally stated outright that it was a one-time thing. she was your boss, for godâs sake. if you slept with her again, you would be breaking all sorts of violations.
ââŠit was niceâŠâ your cheeks redden, âthatâs all.â
the smirk on jiminâs face is unbearable. thank god youâre not the one driving, or you would have gotten a heart attack.
âwant to do it again?â
your face gets undeniably hotter. redness flushes through your entire body as you cower.
thereâs a moment of decision-making.
was it worth the risk to try again with jimin? for some reason, you know youâre past the phase of attraction. itâs pure interest for her now. youâre not sure if your heartâs fully beyond lust, but thereâs something lingering that feels akin to adoration. thereâs no doubt that you find jimin extremely good-looking, but like she said before, there was a difference. itâs unfortunate youâre attracted to her as well. maybe she already knew your answer, thatâs why she didnât push for you to reply.
(it would be a resounding yes.)
but jimin was still your boss. what if people in the company found out? they technically couldnât do anything since jimin was already in the highest position, but if you had to suffer questioning looks and backhanded remarks from them, about how you achieved this job by sleeping around, it would break your heart.
and you donât want a repeat of hyunjin. you donât know if youâre ready for another relationship. at least now youâre aware you can actually feel things for others and youâre not some emotionless robot.
but something about jimin pulls you towards her. like two opposite poles of a magnet. thereâs something so endearing yet mysterious about the girl that makes you want to try.
âweâre here already, i think my friend lives nearby here,â jimin says as she looks around. sheâs parked along the road, your apartment just a few metres away.
you gulp, murmuring softly, âjimin.â
the ceo turns to you, like a little cat.
âcan we try dating?â
jiminâs eyebrows shoot upwards, shock evident on her face. after all, you had rejected her not long ago.
âreally?â she can barely contain her excitement.
âuh, yeah,â youâre a little uncomfortable with the way sheâs staring at you so intensely.
happiness was coursing through her veins. jimin had never expected you would end up giving in. she had a whole plan in her headâ first, get you riled up and then convince you to sleep with her again. her second phase consisted of insanely good aftercare that would definitely draw you in into her amazing personality. the last phase was just playing hard to get and making sure you wanted her badly. it seems like she skipped most of the steps. whatever, it doesnât matter since she got the same end result.
âokay!â jimin beams.
you stare at her stunned.
âuh, so weâre dating now, right?â you repeat.
âmhm!â
her compliance makes you want to jump on her.
âletâs set some boundaries first, okay?â
jimin ponders for a bit before stating confidently, âi have no boundaries! you can do whatever you want.â
itâs a little riveting having her agree with whatever you say. her natural submission is jarring. you laugh, âthatâs okay, but i have some rules.â
âgo ahead!â jiminâs gazing at you, her eyes wide and rapt with attention. you hold out your hand, pointing at each individual finger, âone, no pda in the office, i donât want to give people an opportunity to gossip.â
she nods. it would be hard to continue dating if people kept invading your privacy.
âtwo, we have to keep this a secret,â you continue, âand three, weâre not official yet okay? just dating for now. letâs take it slow.â
âmhm sure.â
âfour, donât call me any nicknames in the office, iâm just seo y/n and youâre karina.â
jimin smirks lazily, her hand resting against the wheel, âyouâll be yu y/n soon.â
âjimin,â you groan at her sleaziness.
âgo on!â
you list off the final rule, âfive, no special treatment just cause weâre dating. i donât want people to think iâm getting more opportunities to do well just because weâre dating.â
the ceo blinks.
âokay.â
âokay?â
she hums, content, âyeah. iâm fine with all that.â
you breathe out shakily, âthatâs good.â
âmhm. you should get going now,â jimin smiles, âitâs late.â
âright, okay. uh, see you tomorrow?â
the ceo tilts her head, a wide grin on her face, âsee you tomorrow, baby.â
your face flushes red.
âjimin.â
âweâre not in the office!â
dating jimin is wonderful. sheâs the sweetest and most caring girl on earth. everytime she does something even remotely romantic, youâre swept off your feet. despite your insistence to take it slow, you had only resisted at the start. now, after weeks of dating, you succumbed to jiminâs puppy eyes and begging.
wrapped in her embrace, you snuggle into the crook of her neck even deeper, breathing in her cologne.
jimin only tightens her arms. if it wasnât for the fact that it was extremely comfortable, you would have complained that she was strangling you.
âbaby,â she whispers, planting haste pecks all over your face.
that had been a recurring thing. you realised soon after the first week, jimin loved calling you baby. sometimes you wondered if she forgot your name and called you baby to hide it. the girl, obviously, denied it.
âhm?â your voice comes out muffled.
âyou look really cute like this.â
you couldnât disagree more. adorned in an old oversized sweatshirt that was literally disintegrating by the second, messy bed hair after the nap you had just taken, and a bare face that probably had drool all over.
meanwhile, jiminâs wearing a calvin klein hoodie with little boy shorts that exposed her bare legs. your own legs fitted nicely against hers, tangling your bodies together on the couch.
âi wonât get to see you tomorrow,â jimin says out of the blue.
âwhy? do you have something going on?â
the ceo groans heartily, âmy friends want to have dinner together.â
this puts a frown on your face. originally, you had planned a cute little date for the two of you.
jimin, observant of your turmoil, only runs her fingers through your hair comfortingly, âi know, baby. but we donât always get this chance. and itâs just dinner! just this once.â
you nod your head, burrowing further into her embrace. jimin only sighs happily, her hand trailing down from your head to your back, rubbing circles repeatedly.
âwhat are you wearing then?â
âmaybe that dress that you really liked? or maybe a random pantsuit.â
you know which dress sheâs talking about. an ivory coloured, strapless dress that accentuates her collarbones nicely.
âwear the pantsuit.â something about other people being able to see jimin in that dress doesnât sit right with you.
a chuckle escapes her, âdidnât you say you liked the dress?â
shrugging, you reply nonchalantly, âdonât want anyone else seeing you in it.â
silence. then a high-pitched squeal.
ây/nnie, youâre so cute!â your head is dramatically pulled back from jiminâs neck and you come face-to-face with the ceo, whoâs cooing at you incessantly. she plants multiple pecks all over your face whilst squeezing your jaw tightly.
âjimin!â
the girl finally pulls away from covering your face with kisses, but if it werenât for her bright red lipstick, she would have seen how underneath all her kiss marks, your face was splashed with maroon.
âif you come with me, then can i wear that dress? i really want to wear it,â jimin pleads.
it's a fair deal in your opinion. you could spend time with her and being able to see jimin in that dress was just a plus. it just leaves the problem of jiminâs wandering hands. even in your office, her hands seem to have a mind of their own, constantly roaming around places they shouldnât be. like how when you were brewing coffee one morning, jimin had snuck up behind and rested her hands on your waist, whispering a quiet greeting. thank goodness no one else was in the lounge. that surely would have started endless amounts of rumours.
âbut we canât kiss or hug there okay?â you reply, deciding to make a trade-off.
jimin pouts, but she ends up huffing and then nodding.
âjust stay by my side. iâll restrain myself.â
well, that turned out to be a lie.
despite her previous promise of keeping her hands to herself, they somehow ended up entangled in your own. one of her hands lingers between your shoulder blades, and in the car ride to the restaurant, it trailed down to the small of your back. you had scolded jimin for that.
even now, jimin still ensured she was somehow touching you. the restaurant was extremely high-end, evident from the menu which didnât even have prices on them! you had gone through culture shock with that.
the table was surrounded with people you assumed held equally sophisticated titles, some of them stared at you with curiosity, probably wondering why a newcomer had arrived.
there were a few empty seats, but jimin had informed you that some maybe couldnât make it, as always.
âso,â one of the extremely gorgeous women had cleared her throat, âare you going to introduce the lovely woman youâve brought with you, karina?â
jimin smiles as her hand comes to lie on your arm, where your elbow is.
âthis is y/n, sheâs my colleague,â jimin says, a practised answer. you try to muster up a smile.
âiâm giselle, or aeri, nice to meet you, y/n,â the woman drawls, her tone full of mischief and she had that twinkle in her eyes that reminded you of jimin when sheâs about to tickle you.
âhow has ceo life been treating you? we havenât heard from you much,â another woman asks. you notice how cat-like this woman looks. she had beady eyes that were laser-focused on jimin. thereâs a chorus of agreement from the rest.
the ceo laughs, âitâs good. iâve gotten to experience many things. what about the park group that youâve visited, ryujin? are they still doing well?â
as the now named woman, ryujin, goes into a tirade about the park group, you take the opportunity to identify everyone. most of them were dressed to the nines, their hair all prim and proper, and not a speck of dust on their clothes. just from a quick scale, you could tell they were all extremely wealthy. you listen to ryujin speak while digging into the sirloin steak jimin had ordered for you.
ââand i actually met someone new recently, she should be arriving soon with her brother,â ryujin exclaims. the group chatters excitedly about her newest paramour, while jimin explains that ryujin had gone a few years without a relationship, hence the enthusiasm.
right as you nod, the door to the private room opens and two extremely familiar figures stride in and take their seats.
fuck. you think, unable to control the way your eyes widen. jimin shares the same feeling seemingly, with how she stiffens and a huff escapes her.
âthis is hwang yeji and her brother hyunjin,â ryujin beams proudly, unaware of the tension surrounding the table.
âseo y/n?â
your eyes dart downwards, unwilling to face hyunjin. yeji only gasps, âwhat? oh my gosh, y/n!â
you grit your teeth as hyunjin laughs loudly, âwhat are you doing here?â
jiminâs hand slithers down to yours, encasing it in a tight but comforting grasp.
ryujinâs head goes back and forth and the tableâs filled with surprised chatter and questions.
âhow do you guys know each other?â
hyunjin beats you by answering, âsheâs my girlfriend.â
what?
you wince a little at how jimin only grips you even more firmly.
âyou are?â ryujin exclaims. yeji sends you a sympathetic look, but before she even says anything, aeri interrupts.
âare you a two-timer?â she accuses, eyes blazing with fury, âarenât you dating jimin?â
your head snaps towards jimin.
âuhmââ she splutters out, âiâ okay! it just slipped out and i told aeri to play pretend!â
âwhat?! youâre dating her?â hyunjin suddenly barks. you groan, wondering why you even got involved with these people. they were all insane!
âwait, so who are you actually dating?â ryujin finally asks. you sigh, âiâm dating jimin.â
a scoff escapes hyunjin.
âyouâre actually with her? i canât believe you jumped into bed with someone else right after we broke up! i knew you were a slut from the beginning.â
a chorus of gasps echo from the table. you should feel saddened that someone you cared for previously was throwing insults at you, but you donât feel anything. yet, the same couldnât be said for jimin, who rises up from her seat abruptly, and tosses her glass of champagne at hyunjin.
âdonât talk about her like that.â
âare you fucking serious?!â
âshut the fuck up,â jimin seethes, âand donât let me hear you utter her name from that filthy mouth of yours ever again.â
hyunjinâs hair down to his tailored suit, drenched in expensive champagne that is probably worth more than your apartment. you watch as his face turns an angry red, and you can almost see the steam coming out from his ears. his mouth opens to retort but he can only gape furiously.
âyouâre pathetic and i pity the people that have to be in your company. you forget yourself. donât you dare come into my sight. my eyes arenât adjusted to the filth that you are.â
hyunjin stands up from his chair but yeji pulls him back down harshly.
âi canât believe my girlfriend saw anything but a deplorable man in you.â
youâre left jaw-dropped. jimin grits her teeth before tossing you a look, âcâmon y/n, letâs go.â
she pulls you out of your chair and as you leave, you turn back, sending an apologetic look to the others at the table. aeri only guffaws and ryujin yells, âyou didnât pay for the food!â
jiminâs hand doesnât leave yours, and youâre a little shocked at how quickly and agile she moves even in heels. your heartâs beating a mile, both from surprise and the adrenaline coursing through your veins. when you reach the car, jimin slams the door shut and she deflates in her seat.
âoh my god,â she says.
âoh my god indeed,â you parrot, still in awe of jiminâs reaction. it was crazy, but you canât lie, it was attractive having her stand up for you like that.
she turns to you, âi canât believe i just did that.â
âyeah, me neither,â you laugh, âthis is the second time youâve called him pathetic.â
jimin pouts, so unlike the girl from before, âhe just made me really mad! holy shit, aeriâs blowing up my phone.â
youâre reminded of something that aeri slipped out.
âjimin,â you place a hand on her arm as she checks the messages, âso you told aeri about us?â
the ceo turns to you, eyes glistening and her lips pursed out cutely, obviously as an attempt to cull your anger, âi really didnât mean to! please believe me baby. she just asked me why i was so happy recently and then asked if i was seeing someone and you know i canât lie to aeri⊠so i told her about you andââ
âhey, calm down,â you chuckle at the way jiminâs turning red from how quickly she rambled. she catches her breath as her chest heaves, âiâm sorry. i know i broke the rule.â
âitâs okay, jimin. iâm not mad,â you reassure.
jiminâs eyes perk up, âreally?â
âyeah, itâs fine. i think itâs really sweet that you stood up for me today.â
âiâll always stand up for you, you know that right? donât you remember my promise of helping you whenever?â jimin says earnestly. you smile at her cuteness and sincerity.
you donât know what this feeling is. the chasing thrill every time jiminâs hands are on yours. the gleamy look in her eyes. the curve of her crooked smile. but it feels similar to love.
âjimin-ah,â you mumble. itâs the most unromantic place and time everâ jiminâs car, parked next to a gloomy lamppost, right after she had just poured champagne on your ex.
but because itâs with jimin, it feels perfect.
you canât believe you ever thought of rejecting the girl prior.
âyes?â
âi really really like you,â you tuck a stray strand of her hair behind her ear. itâs a shame jiminâs dress couldnât be properly admired today with all the ruckus. but thatâs fine, you had plenty of opportunities to do so in the future.
âi really really like you too,â jimin whispers, as if itâs a secret.
you grin, âyou looked really attractive just now. i think youâre godâs gift to earth.â
âmhm. youâre perfect too,â she sighs dreamily, âi really donât mind giving you my everything.â
it sounds like a confession of love. maybe itâs jiminâs own way, but you both know itâs too early, even if the feeling rivals the purest form of affection and adoration.
âi liked it when you called me your girlfriend,â you admit. jimin beams, âso can i call you my girlfriend? can i be yours?â
you nod shyly at how jimin phrases the question. itâs not whether youâre hers, itâs whether sheâs yours. and itâs a barely noticeable difference, but it only makes your heart pound more rapidly against your ribcage.
minjeong likes her job. itâs easygoing and the payâs good. her colleagues are all really nice too. itâs an enjoyable job. she especially enjoys the company of her sunbae from high school. but recently, despite minjeongâs annoyance, her senior has been spending more and more time in the ceoâs office, and not at her desk. the usual conversations between them had gone so quickly and minjeong missed her sunbaeâs presence.
she wonders if the ceo is holding you hostage. sheâs seen the mountain of papers on your desk before, but she chalked it up to you just being an overachiever.
âminjeong,â her head lifts up, itâs mark lee and team manager kim gesturing at her to come over. their behaviour is strange, minjeong immediately notices, huddled in a corner of the lounge and whispering conspiratorially.
âwhatâs up? is something wrong?â
manager kim shakes her head and instead asks the damning question of, âdo you think y/n and our boss are hooking up?â
what!
âuhm,â minjeong mumbles, âi donât know?â
mark only nudges minjeongâs shoulder, âwait till y/n comes out of karinaâs office and just look at her neck. she might have a few hickies.â
minjeong doesnât think so, but she agrees to be their lookout and she waits patiently for you to come out. once the door swings open, minjeong catches a glance of karina adjusting her blazer and your hands pulling at the collar of your blouse.
huh. thatâs strange.
she trods over to you, a faux smile on her face as she says, âare you in trouble again? youâre always in karinaâs office!â
minjeong watches as your eyes widen and you clear your throat, ây-yeah⊠we were talking about a report⊠i made a few mistakes.â
her own eyes trail from your face to your poorly hidden neck, where a few bruises reside.
suddenly, everything clicks into place. the frazzled look you always had, the way karina would come out all messyâ and the hickies!
minjeong canât control the words that come out next.
âoh my godâ youâre fucking the boss?!â

â§ïœ„ïŸ: *â§ïœ„ïŸ:*
the apartment door opened with a soft creak, letting in the sound of jingling keys and quiet footsteps. you looked up from where you sat, curled into the corner of the worn-out sofa, a book resting open in your lap. the faint hum of the world outside was replaced by silence as jimin stepped into the apartment.
her black hair, slightly damp with sweat, clung to her temples, and the oversized hoodie she wore looked three sizes too big. her shoulders slumped with exhaustion, but even through her tired eyes, a familiar spark of excitement flickered to life.
âyouâre home late,â you said softly, a small smile tugging at your lips as you sat up straight, putting the book down on the coffee table.
she exhaled a breathy laugh as she moved toward you, collapsing onto the spot next to you with a heavy sigh. her body sank with yours onto the cushions as if they were the only things holding her together.
âbaby,â she started, voice breathless yet glowing as her face beamed. âitâs happening.â
you frowned lightly, a mixture of confusion and curiosity dancing across your face. âwhatâs happening?â
she turned her head to look at you, a grin slowly spreading across her face. âthe debut.â
your heart stilled for just a second, your mind needing a moment to catch up with her words.
âwhat?â you asked, almost as though youâd misheard â but you heard her right.
âiâm debuting!â she burst out, her hands flailing briefly before dropping back to her lap. her voice rose with that mix of disbelief and joy, like she was saying the words out loud to make them real. âitâs official. iâm going to debut in a group. with yizhuo, minjeong and aeri.â
the news struck you like a wave, one that carried a mixture of pride, excitement and something you couldnât quite place â a faint flicker of anxiety.
âbaby, thatâs fucking incredible!â you threw your arms around her without thinking, and she let out a surprised laugh as you held her tightly. her body was warm and familiar, the scent of her floral shampoo lingering faintly â the smile broke across your face, legs tangled together and all.
her arms tightened around you for a moment before she pulled back just enough to look at you. her dark eyes softened. âi couldnât have done it without you.â
âi told you it was only a matter of time,â you murmured into her shoulder, your voice muffled but steady. âitâs all you and your hard, baby. i just happen to be the lucky one cheering from the sidelines.â
âyouâre always there, cheering me on, even when i doubt myself,â her eyes glimmered, showing adoration towards you.
âof course i am,â you replied simply. âi believe in you. i always have.â
her smile faltered for just a second, like she was overwhelmed by something unspoken. yet she sat up straighter, the energy returning to her. âi want to celebrate with you. i invited the girls over for dinner tomorrow â i hope you donât mind.â
you nodded, feeling that familiar itch to do something for her. for all of them. âiâll cook,â you offered without hesitation.
âyou donât have to ââ
âi want to,â you cut in, smiling as you already made a mental note of the dishes you were going to cook. âitâs not every day my girlfriend debuts as a k-pop star. it has to be special.â
jiminâs face softened, her eyes lingering on you a little longer than usual. âyouâre going to love them,â she said quietly. âand theyâre going to love you.â
the next day passed in a blur of preparation. the apartment smelled like home â garlic, soy sauce, and ginger infused the air and the sizzle of meat on the stove echoed through the small space.
youâd been chopping, marinating, and stirring for hours, sleeves rolled up to your elbows and a soft hum of music playing in the background. cooking for people always gave you a sense of calm, as though each dish you prepared was a quiet offering of care.
when the knock came at the door, followed by the distinct sound of your girlfriendâs laugh, you wiped your hands on a towel and peeked around the kitchen doorway. a small, proud smile tugged at her lips as she caught your eye.
âwelcome, welcome!â she said brightly as three girls spilled into the entryway, shedding coats and shoes.
their energy filled the apartment instantly â a mixture of excitement, nerves, and something unspoken that came with dreams finally taking shape.
âthis place is so cute,â one of the girls said, her sharp features framed by black hair that brushed her shoulders. she was grinning brightly, her accent smooth but distinct. âyou must be y/n? iâm aeri. or giselle, i guess.â
you smiled warmly, offering a small wave. âiâm y/n, nice to meet you all. i hope youâre all hungry!â
âoh, trust me, iâm starved,â the blonde beside her piped up, eyes sparkling. âall good things, i hope. iâm minjeong. theyâre calling me winter now.â
âand iâm yizhuo,â the third girl said, giving you a small but bright smile. her energy felt calmer but no less vibrant. âningning on stage.â
âstage names, huh?â you glanced at jimin teasingly. âwhatâs yours?â
her cheeks blushed faintly. âkarina.â
âkarina,â you repeated softly, testing the name. you smiled. âit suits you.â
the girls teased her relentlessly over your response, but she took it with that playful pride, her gaze lingering on you.
âyou cooked for us?â yizhuo asked, peeking into the kitchen with curiosity.
âitâs nothing fancy,â you said, though you knew the spread was far from simple. âjust a little something to celebrate.â
âyouâre spoiling us already,â minjeong teased as she followed the others into the living room. âjimin, take notes, would you?â
âidiot,â she chuckled, shaking her head. âi look after you three enough.â
they filed into the living room, and soon enough, the dinner table was alive with chatter, the girls filling the small space with their voices, stories and questions.
jimin sat beside you, her eyes occasionally flickering your way. she looked more at ease than youâd seen her in weeks, even with the chaos.
âso, y/n,â aeri started, leaning forward with curiosity, âyour girlfriend said youâre an artist. you have your own gallery, right?â
you nodded, surprised she even knew that much. âyeah; itâs a small space, but itâs mine.â
âthatâs so cool,â minjeong added, her eyes wide. âwhat kind of art do you do?â
âa bit of everything,â you replied, feeling a faint heat creep up your neck. âportraits, landscapes, abstractsâŠiâve always loved experimenting with textures and colours.â
âjimin proudly told us she was your muse,â yizhuo teased, her eyes sparkling mischievously.
the girl groaned softly beside you, burying her face in her hands. âning.â
the girls erupted into laughter while you smiled faintly, looking at jiminâs flustered form. âsheâs not wrong,â you shrugged, earning a few squeals from around the table. she peeked at you between her fingers, her cheeks dusted pink.
they fell into an easy conversation with you, despite their initial curiosity about who you were and how you fit into jiminâs life. they teased her endlessly â about her stage name, her habits, her tendency to practice endlessly, but they did so with a kind of deep affection that made your heart ache in the best way.
at one point, yizhuo turned to you once again, grinning mischievously. âso, how did you two meet?â
you glanced at jimin, who was already looking at you with that knowing smile. âwe met at my gallery,â you said. âshe walked in one day, acting like she was lost.â
âi was lost,â she interjected defensively, though her grin betrayed her amusement.
âsure you were,â you teased back, earning laughter from the table. âshe stayed longer than most visitors, though. we got to talking. and she kept coming back.â
âfor the art?â minjeong asked, wiggling her eyebrows.
âfor her,â jimin admitted quietly, her voice almost drowned out by the noise.
the table quietened for a beat, and you felt your cheeks heat under their gazes.
âthatâs so cute,â aeri declared, breaking the silence. âkarina, the hopeless romantic. who wouldâve thought?â
âsheâs not as tough as she looks,â you joked, catching her eye. her expression softened, a quiet kind of gratitude lingering in her gaze.
jimin dropped her hands, her voice quieter now. âiâve always been her biggest fan,â she said softly. âshe just doesnât know it.â
your heart fluttered in your chest, but you focused on scooping rice onto your plate, fighting the smile threatening to take over your face.
as dinner wound down, the conversation shifted to the industry itself. they talked about practice schedules, strict diets and the endless rehearsals that had led to this moment.
âitâs harder than people think,â aeri explained, leaning back in her chair. âweâre up at 6 in the morning most days and sometimes finish past midnight. and then we have to get up and do it all over again.â
âand donât forget the pressure,â minjeong added. âfrom fans, the company, and even ourselves. itâsâŠa lot.â
you listened quietly, glancing at your girlfriend, who was staring down at her plate. something about the way she pressed her lips together tugged at you.
âyouâll all be amazing,â you said softly, cutting through the weight of the conversation. âitâs not easy, but youâre already doing something most people could only dream of. and⊠ou have each other. thatâs what matters, right?â
they all smiled and jiminâs gaze finally lifted to meet yours. there was something unspoken in her expression â gratitude, perhaps, or pride.
âsheâs right,â jimin said quietly. âweâll make it. together.â
as the night drew to a close, you retreated to the kitchen to clean up despite their protests. jimin followed you eventually, leaning against the counter as you scrubbed dishes. the apartment behind her buzzed with the muffled sound of the girls talking and laughing.
âyou were right,â you said softly. âi do love them.â
she smiled faintly, stepping closer. âand they love you.â
you turned off the tap and dried your hands before facing her, putting your hands on her waist. âiâm proud of you, you know.â
she placed her palms against your face, her gaze searching yours, and for a second, the world outside disappeared. âiâll make you even prouder,â she promised. âyouâll see.â
she was always meant to shine. there was such a promise in her words that you believed her. with everything you had.
â§ïœ„ïŸ: *â§ïœ„ïŸ:*
aespaâs debut had been nothing short of a phenomenon. their first music video went viral overnight, their sleek, futuristic concept capturing millions. everyone fell in love with them, chanting their names in sold-out arenas and plastering their faces across glossy billboards.
the world had changed in just one year and karina had become its centre. their schedules stretched endlessly, a constant cycle of rehearsals, performances, and interviews.
you watched it all unfold from the sidelines.
it wasnât a surprise. she had always been destined for this kind of success, but you never realised how much it would take from her â from both of you.
her phone calls to you grew shorter and texts came slower. âi love youâ turned into rushed goodbyes, the weight of her schedule pulling her further and further away. you understood. of course you did â this was the dream she had fought for.
understanding didnât mean it didnât hurt.
the fanmeet was packed, the sound of chatter and excitement vibrating through the venue. you stood in line with the rest of the fans, clutching your aespa album and a small envelope. your pulse thrummed faintly with nerves, though it wasnât the first fanmeet youâd attended. youâd been to as many as you could manage, standing in the crowds like everyone else, cheering and waving your lightstick.
jimin â karina, you corrected yourself â had spotted you more than once during these events. sometimes, her gaze would linger a second too long, her smile softening at the corners but you never pushed for more.
you were just another face in the crowd. it stung sometimes.
ânext!â
you stepped forward, and there they were, seated at the table, faces bright with smiles. giselle was first to see you as she grinned, eyes crinkling at the corners as she took your album. âhi!â
âhi,â you said, smiling back.
she glanced up, studying you for a second. âyou look familiar,â she said, pen poised above the page. âhave we seen you before?â
you blinked. âuh, maybe? iâve been to a few fanmeets.â
âoh, a dedicated fan,â giselle teased, scribbling her signature across the page. âi like that.â
dickhead. you laughed softly before moving on to ningning, who beamed brightly as you approached.
âitâs you again!â she said, pointing at you with her marker.
your stomach dropped slightly. âagain?â
âyeah! youâve been to, like, every show, right? and didnât you trend once for that fan chant video?â
your cheeks burned. âohâŠum, yeah. i guess.â
âwe appreciate it,â ningning said warmly, leaning forward slightly. âyouâre one of those fans â the ones we know are always there.â
your heart clenched at that, but you managed a small smile.
winter was next. her gaze was more observant as you handed her the album. âyouâve got that stan twitter vibe,â she said bluntly, and you nearly choked on air.
âwhat?â
she smirked. âcome on. the energy? the dedication? youâve got a secret fan account somewhere, donât you?â
âiâŠâ you began, unable to stop your nervous laugh. âi donât know what youâre talking about.â
her smirk widened knowingly as she handed you back the album. âsure you donât.â
and then it was karina.
she looked up as you stepped forward, her face breaking into a smile that she tried to make look casual but didnât quite succeed.
âhey,â she said softly, her voice almost lost under the hum of the venue.
âhi,â you replied, keeping your own voice light as you stared at your girlfriend.
âyouâre here again,â she murmured as she took the album.
âi always am,â you said quietly, watching her sign her stage name: karina, in elegant loops.
her hand paused for just a second and then she passed the album back to you, her thumb brushing over your skin for a second. her eyes flickered up, searching yours.
âthanks for coming,â she said finally, her tone just a little too soft to be professional.
you swallowed the lump in your throat and nodded. âof course, always.â
the weeks bled into each other and your conversations with jimin really became less and less frequent. you would see her once a week, if you were lucky.
aespa had moved into a luxury apartment together months ago, but most of her old things were still here â left exactly as they had been, like ghosts of a quieter life. her old hoodie still hung on the back of the door, her favourite mug sat unused in the cupboard and you swore her perfume lingered around.
the thing that kept you afloat was constantly reminding yourself of what sheâd fought for â how she had argued with her company to keep you, how she had sat across from you, holding the nda papers with shaking hands.
âi wonât lose you, y/n,â sheâd whispered that day. âiâll do whatever it takes.â
and she had.
now, the silence was the hardest part.
it was late afternoon when you arrived at their apartment, a small bag of groceries clutched tightly in your hands. the sleek, modern building seemed too pristine, like it belonged in a magazine, but it suited the: polished, untouchable, larger than life.
jimin wasnât there. sheâd left early that morning for solo activities. a photoshoot, you thought, though it was hard to keep track of her schedule these days. her texts had been brief that morning.
from: my love đ«¶
leaving early today. the girls are home, though. they miss you. i miss you. i love you baby
sent 5:07 AM
it wasnât much, but it was enough.
you stood at the door for a second, taking a deep breath before knocking. the door flew open, revealing yizhuo in an oversized hoodie and socks that looked like they belonged to a child. she grinned at you, eyes lighting up.
ây/n!â giselleâs voice echoed from the doorway, accompanied by the sound of excited footsteps. âis that you? whatâs in the bag?â
you smiled, holding up a grocery bag full of ingredients as you slipped off your shoes. âyou guys asked for kimchi jjigae, right?â
âoh my god, she came through again,â yizhuo cheered, rushing over to take the bag from your hands. âthis is why we love you. well, one of the reasons.â
âdonât flatter me too much, ning,â you joked, nudging her playfully as she helped you into the luxury apartmentâs sprawling kitchen. the place was sleek and spotless â completely different from the homey, cluttered flat you still shared with jiminâs belongings.
the other members were scattered around the living room, lounging across sofas like exhausted cats. minjeong, in an oversized hoodie and sweatpants, sat cross-legged on the carpet with a controller in her hands. she glanced up when she saw you.
ây/n!â her face lit up as she paused the game, throwing her hands up. âyouâre here! i thought you abandoned us after how awkward that fanmeet was.â
you snorted as you set the groceries on the kitchen counter. âi canât abandon you guys if you keep bribing me with compliments.â
âit works every time,â aeri said with a wink, trailing behind you. âi nearly slipped up the other day and was about to ask you if you could cook at home and feed us.â
âyouâre just stupid like that sometimes,â you chuckled teasingly as, earning a slight push from her. you quickly got to work, tying your hair back and pulling out pots and pans from their neatly arranged cupboards.
while you prepped ingredients, aeri and yizhuo hovered around the kitchen like puppies begging for food.
âso,â aeri started, propping her elbows on the counter. âwhen are you moving in here officially? we might as well just claim you as aespaâs honorary fifth member at this point.â
you laughed softly, shaking your head as you chopped tofu. âi think youâll have to run that past your managers.â
ânah, youâre already in,â yizhuo piped up, stealing a piece of green onion from the cutting board and dodging your swat. âjimin just doesnât want to admit sheâd lose her mind without you.â
at the mention of her, something in your chest twisted, but you masked it with a light smile. âyouâre all dramatic. iâm sure sheâd be fine.â
âdonât let her fool you,â aeri leaned closer with a cheeky grin. âshe acts all cool and composed, but weâve seen her mooning over you. âthe love of my life is coming over? iâll clean the living room!â âmy girlfriend likes this snack, we should keep some here.â itâs adorable.â
âstop,â you said, your voice softening involuntarily, cheeks warming.
âsheâs lucky, though,â minjeong said from the couch, still tapping idly on her controller. âno one else would put up with her constant brooding and perfectionism. weâd have kicked her out.â
you laughed at that, the weight in your chest lifting for just a moment. âwell, someoneâs got to keep her in check.â
âexactly,â aeri agreed, clapping her hands together. âand you feed us, which means youâre already way cooler than karina. no offence to our leader.
âall the offence please,â yizhuo teased under her breath, earning a set of laughter from minjeong.
minjeong finally stood up and leaned against the counter, watching you with a curious expression. âso, whatâs up with jimin today? sheâs doing something solo, right?â
you nodded, focusing on cutting tofu. âphotoshoot, i think. she didnât say much.â
âshe never does,â she muttered, though her tone was light. âsheâs so busy lately. we barely see her, and we live with her.â
âi know,â you said softly, more to yourself than to her.
the kitchen fell quiet for a moment. yizhuo and minjeong exchanged a quick look, but neither said anything.
âare we gossiping?â aeri teased, breaking the silence. âbecause i can tell you whoâs been stealing my snacks again.â
ânot me!â yizhuo shot back immediately.
âsure,â aeri deadpanned before turning to you. âsmells amazing, y/n. i donât know why karina ever let you out of her sight.â
âitâs not like that,â you said quickly, trying to keep your voice casual.
âno, seriously,â she added, crossing her arms. âyouâre her soft spot. weâve seen it.â
the words hung in the air for a moment, making your chest ache faintly. youâd always been her soft spot â her quiet space away from the noise. you wondered if that space was shrinking, if the demands of the world were slowly pushing you out.
by the time you finished cooking, the entire apartment smelled like garlic, simmering kimchi, and savoury broth. you set the bubbling pot of jjigae in the centre of the dining table, along with plates of rice and simple side dishes youâd thrown together on a whim.
ây/n, youâre a literal saint,â minjeong said, sliding into the seat closest to the pot. âthis smells so good.â
âi swear youâre trying to ruin us,â aeri added, spooning herself a generous helping. âweâre going to start rejecting all the food the company gives us.â
âyouâll get me blacklisted if you keep saying that,â you teased, sitting down across from them.
âworth it,â yizhuo said through a mouthful of tofu.
it was easy to slip into conversations with them. between bites of stew and rice, they told you stories about their chaotic schedules â forgotten dance moves on live stages, accidentally matching outfits and how yizhuo almost fell asleep during a radio interview.
âfameâs not as glamorous as it looks, huh?â you mused after aeri recounted how she nearly tripped down a set of stage stairs.
ânope,â minjeong, resting her chin on her hand. âitâs exhausting. but when weâre on stage, it feels worth it.â
âstill,â yizhuo added, looking at you, âi donât know how you do it.â
you blinked. âdo what?â
âdeal with jiminâs schedule,â she said bluntly. âyou guys donât even get to see each other that much anymore, right?â
the air shifted slightly, the question hanging heavier than it should have. you forced a small smile, stirring the rice in your bowl. âwe make it work,â you said quietly, trying to sound casual.
aeri glanced at you, a flicker of something like sympathy in her eyes. âshe doesnât shut up about how much she misses you, you know.â
âsheâs just bad at showing it,â minjeong added with a shrug.
âreally bad,â ningning agreed, earning a smack on the arm from aeri.
you chuckled softly, though it didnât quite reach your eyes. âi know sheâs busy. itâs her dream. iâm proud of her.â
âyouâre good to her, y/n,â aeri tilted her head, her voice softer now. âshe knows that. and honestly⊠sheâs so lucky to have you.â
something about the way she said it tugged at you â like a quiet reassurance, but also a reminder. you nodded, offering her a small smile before focusing on your food. âwell,â you said after a beat, âas long as you guys keep eating what i make, i guess iâll stick around.â
âdonât need to ask me twice,â minjeong said instantly, earning a round of laughter.
after dinner, the girls collapsed onto the couch, groaning about how full they were while you tidied up the kitchen. you heard one of them flick on the tv, someone grumbling about someone else hogging the remote.
barely noticing the time, you were just finishing up when you felt arms loop around your waist from behind, a familiar chin resting on your shoulder.
âyou didnât tell me you were coming,â jimin murmured, her voice low and tired.
you paused, leaning into her touch slightly. âi wanted to surprise you.â
âyou always do,â she said softly, her grip tightening.
you exhaled quietly, turning to look at her. her face was bare of makeup, her eyes slightly shadowed with exhaustion but she still looked like her.
âyou okay?â you asked gently, brushing her hair back.
she nodded, though her gaze dropped slightly. âi missed you.â
âiâm right here,â you said softly, trying to smile.
her eyes flickered with something unspoken before the sounds of aeri shouting from the living room broke the moment.
âjimin! get out here! y/nâs our girlfriend now, so youâre being replaced by three beautiful women.â
jimin rolled her eyes, though a small smile tugged at her lips. âremind me why i brought them into my life?â
âbecause theyâre good for you,â you murmured, nudging her.
âyouâre better,â she replied quietly, almost too soft for you to hear.
you pulled her face, planting a soft kiss on her forehead. âare you still coming to my opening next week? mum and dad will be there.â
âi wouldnât miss it for the world.â
and even though she pulled you into the living room with the others, her arm slung over your shoulder, you couldnât shake the weight of her words.
i wouldnât miss it for the world.
you hoped she meant it. because as you looked at her, laughing with the girls, you couldnât help but feel how far away she seemed â even when she was right beside you.
â§ïœ„ïŸ: *â§ïœ„ïŸ:*
the hum of quiet conversation slowly faded as the last of your guests trickled out of the gallery. the evening had been a success â more than that, really. the walls were lined with paintings that had taken months of late nights and countless hours to finish, and people had loved them.
three had sold in the first hour and one was going to los angeles.
yet as you stood by the entrance, offering polite goodbyes, the warmth of the evening didnât quite settle in your chest the way it should have.
âsweetheart, are you okay?â
you turned toward the familiar voice. your parents stood a few feet away, your mumâs coat draped over her arm while your dad shifted his glasses up the bridge of his nose.
smiling tightly, you tugged the sleeves of your shirt down as you shrugged. âof course, mum. itâs been a great night.â
your dad sighed, his eyes falling towards the nearest painting; a soft, abstract silhouette of a woman, bathed in streaks of light and shadow. âis jimin still coming?â
the question hit you harder than it should have. after all, youâd spent all evening glancing toward the door, hoping for a flash of black hair, hoping to see her slip in quietly, apologetically, but she never came.
you forced a casual tone. âsheâsâŠworking still. something ran late, i think. sheâll text me later.â
âsheâs going to miss the entire night?â he asked, frowning slightly. âitâs your opening.â
âyeah, idols and their schedules,â you awkwardly rubbed your nape, chuckling. âitâs okay, dad, really.â
your mum gave you a knowing look, the kind only mothers could manage â one that said she saw straight through you. she reached out and gently squeezed your hand. âyouâre always so understanding, darling. but donât let her forget how important you are, too.â
âiâm fine, mum,â you reassured her, though the words felt hollow.
he nodded, clearly wanting to say something else but holding back. âweâre proud of you, kiddo. the show was incredible. youâve really outdone yourself this time.â
âthanks dad,â you murmured, offering them a small smile. âi appreciate you two showing up, i know the drive was pain.â
âanything for you, sweetheart,â your mum pulled you into a hug, kissing your cheek goodbye. âcome over for dinner when youâre free, okay? i miss you both.â
they gave you a final hug before heading out into the night, leaving you alone in the quiet of the gallery. you exhaled slowly, looking around at the space youâd poured yourself into.
the pieces were yours. each stroke, each colour a reflection of something you couldnât quite put into words, but so many of them were her.
she was everywhere, woven into the canvas, immortalised in paint.
your phone buzzed, breaking the silence. you grabbed it quickly, hope rising in your chest and only for it to deflate as you saw the multiple names on your screen.

you stared at the screen for a moment, your chest tightening â all but from your girlfriend as you swiped to your call log. no missed calls. no texts.
pressing her name, the phone rung in your ear as you paced the room. it rang once. twice. seven times. just as you were about to hang up, the line connected.
âhello?â her voice was tired, clipped in a way that instantly told you this was going to go poorly.
âhey,â you said, trying to keep your voice steady as you hesitated for a second. âare you still coming?â
âcoming where?â
you paused, heart stopping. âthe gallery show. my show, jimin. the one you promised you were show up to. in fact, mum and dad actually waited for you.
a beat of silence stretched between you.
ây/n, i told you i was busy tonight,â she muttered, a hint of frustration bleeding into her voice. âi had a shoot that ran over. it wasnât like i could just leave.â
âi know youâre busy,â you replied softly, trying to keep your voice steady. âbut this was important to me and i wanted you to be there, even just for a little while.â
âyou think i donât know that?â she shot back, her voice rising slightly. âiâm sorry, okay? i wanted to be there, but i canât just drop everything for a gallery show.â
you flinched, her words striking deeper than she likely intended. âit wasnât just a show. it was my work â a yearâs worth of it.â
âand what do you think iâm doing?â she snapped suddenly. âyou think iâm working this hard for nothing? iâm doing this for us. for our future.â
âiâm not asking for a future, iâm asking for now,â you replied, your voice catching at the edges. âyou donât even call anymore. you donât text. i feel like iâm standing on the outside of your life, watching you move further and further away.â
âfuck y/n, stop,â she called out, sharper this time. âyouâre making it sound like iâm doing this on purpose â like i donât care. i care about you, you know that.â
âthen why do i feel like i donât have a place in your life anymore?â you asked in a quiet voice, trying to hold back your tears.
the silence that followed was deafening. you could hear her breathing faintly on the other end, uneven and tense. âi donât have time for this,â she muttered, her voice cold.
âwait ââ you followed, desperation evident in your voice.
the line went dead.
you stared at your phone, your fingers still clutching it tightly. the words felt like theyâd been ripped out of you, leaving you hollow. you wanted to apologise and tell her you werenât angry â just hurt, but knowing jimin during arguments, all you could do was wait.
the next few days crawled by. she didnât call, and you didnât text her. every time your phone buzzed, you reached for it instinctively, only to feel that sting of disappointment when it wasnât her.
you spent your hours in the gallery, moving through the motions â packing paintings, restocking supplies, tidying the studio, anything to keep your mind busy.
three days later, the doorbell above the gallery chimed and you looked up, surprised to see aeri and minjeong walking in, their faces bright with easy smiles.
âlook what the cat brought in,â you said, trying to sound cheerful as you tucked a cloth into your pocket. âwhat are you two doing here?â
âwe came to see your show properly,â aeri smiled. she glanced around the space, her eyes widening as she took in the paintings on the walls. âwow, these are amazing!â
minjeong wandered toward a painting near the window â a soft, abstract piece of two hands reaching for each other but not quite touching. âyouâre really talented, you know that?â
âi appreciate it,â you replied, the words feeling hollow in your mouth.
awri paused, pointing to another painting; a woman sitting alone by a window, light spilling onto her face. âis this karina?â she asked softly.
you nodded, trying to keep your voice steady. âyeah.â
minjeong studied the piece for a moment before turning back to you. âsheâs lucky to have someone who loves her like this, youâre so good to her.â
you chuckled, pressing your hands together. âi try.â they both stopped at another canvas, an abstract piece this time â gazes lingering on the soft blues and greys. âthat one sold immediately for twenty thousand dollars. i was in the middle of packing it down.â
minjeongâs eyes widened. âholy shit, y/n. thatâs insane. iâm glad we got to see it then!â
you smiled faintly, though the ache lingered. âthanks. i want to make something that matters, you know?â
âyou already have,â aeri said firmly. âning wouldâve come too, but she got dragged into solo schedules today.â
your heart sank slightly, though you didnât let it show. âitâs fine. iâm glad you guys came.â
âwe wouldnât miss it,â minjeong wrapped her arms around you. âyour work deserves to be seen, y/n. donât ever forget that.â
aeri kissed your cheek, letting out a laugh when the brim of her hat hit your face. âiâm sorry!â
âidiot,â you shook your head, smiling. âsorry to see you guys go.â
minjeong sighed. âweâre sorry too, we have a meeting with our director in half an hour.â
you bowed your head. âplease send my regards to ning and jimin.â
after they left, the gallery fell quiet again, leaving you alone with your thoughts. you sank onto a small bench near the centre of the room, staring at the paintings surrounding you.
they were all pieces of her â fragments of moments, memories captured on canvas. her laughter in the kitchen as you danced around with flour on your hands, the way sheâd lean her head on your shoulder when the world felt too heavy.
the way sheâd whispered, âiâll always be here.â
â§ïœ„ïŸ: *â§ïœ„ïŸ:*
it was november and the city was wrapped in the magic of the season. soft snowflakes drifted from the sky, blanketing the streets in white. shop windows glowed with warm lights, adorned with wreaths, tinsel and cheerful displays.
the world around you buzzed with a festive energy, but it felt distant; a joy you couldnât quite reach.
jimin hadnât spoken to you in over a week.
she told herself she was giving you space, letting things settle before she reached out but every passing day without hearing your voice made the ache in her chest grow heavier.
she missed you. horribly.
she missed the sound of your laughter, the way you always tilted your head when you were concentrating on a painting. she missed your voice, even the way youâd tease her about how serious she could be.
but what hurt most was the way youâd sounded during the argument: disappointed, like sheâd let you down beyond repair and she shut you down.
her phone sat untouched on her bedside table, but she couldnât bring herself to call you.
she told herself you were fine, that you always understood.
and then she found it: an old flyer tucked into her wallet, creased from months of being ignored.
free weekend art class: saturdays, 2-5 p.m.
without a second thought, she grabbed her hoodie and a coat, pulled a cap low over her face, and left the dorm.
when she arrived, the small studio sat quietly on the corner of the street. large windows stretched across the front, letting in subtle beams of warm afternoon sunlight. she stopped just outside, heart pounding in her chest as she looked in.
there you were.
you stood near the window, laughing with a group of students as you demonstrated something with your hands. you wore an old paint-streaked apron over your clothes, your hair messily tied back with strands falling loose around your face.
jimin froze, her chest tightening painfully at the sight of you.
you were so beautiful.
for a moment, she couldnât tear her eyes away. your laugh carried faintly through the window, and she felt like someone had punched the air from her lungs.
you looked happy here, in your space â your world. one she hadnât been a part of in far too long.
her hands trembled as she pushed open the studio door. the small bell above it jingled, startling you mid-sentence. your gaze flicked to the door, and when you saw her, your expression froze.
the soft smile on your face faltered, replaced by something unreadable.
âohâŠhello, have a seat,â you said, your voice calm but distant. âthe class finishes in an hour, sorry you missed most of it.â
the class turned briefly to look at her, then back to their work, unfazed. she stood awkwardly near the door, her cap pulled low, unsure of whether to move closer.
âiâm sorry,â she said quietly, though her voice barely carried over the hum of the room. âitâs okay, iâll stay and watch for now.â
you stared at her for a beat before turning back to your students, forcing yourself to focus. âright, letâs keep going. weâre almost done for today.â
jimin stayed silent at the back of the studio, hands shoved deep into the pocket of her hoodie. she watched as you moved between easels, stopping to encourage your students with soft words and kind smiles.
âlight strokes,â you were saying, guiding a young girlâs brush across the canvas. âyouâre not fighting the paint, youâre moving with it, okay? let it flow.â
the girl nodded, grinning up at you. âlike magic?â
you laughed softly, the sound carrying faintly through the glass. âexactly like magic.â
jiminâs heart clenched painfully. sheâd forgotten what it was like to just watch you.
the way you moved between students, offering encouragement, helping them mix colours, or joking with them about how âhappy accidentsâ were just part of the process.
âmr. kim,â you said with a grin to one of your older students, âi know damn well you didnât mean to paint a tree in the middle of your cityscape, but weâre rolling with it now.â
the man laughed heartily, shaking his head. âart is chaos, isnât it?â
âexactly,â you replied with a wink.
as the class carried on, you felt her gaze on you. it was familiar, but you didnât meet her eyes.
when the class ended, the students began packing up, thanking you as they grabbed their bags and coats. you busied yourself cleaning brushes and wiping down tables, pretending not to notice jimin still standing by the door.
eventually, the last student waved goodbye, and the doorbell chimed softly as it closed.
once the last student left, the room fell eerily quiet. you didnât say anything at first, just continued gathering supplies, your back to her.
ây/n,â jimin said softly, taking a small step forward.
âdid you enjoy the class?â your voice was polite, but there was no warmth in it.
she flinched at how distant you sounded. âi didnât come here for the class.â
you finally turned to face her, arms crossed over your chest. your face was calm, but your eyes gave it away; hurt and guarded.
âthen why did you come here, jimin?â
her throat tightened, her voice almost failing her. âbecauseâŠbecause i missed you.â
you turned away, picking up brushes and placing them back into jars. âit took you over a fucking week to realise that?â
she flinched at the quiet sharpness in your words. âbaby, iâm sorry. i ââ
âdonât,â you said quickly, cutting her off. âdonât say anything if you donât mean it.â
her face fell, guilt flashing across her features. âi know. i messed up. iâŠi wanted to come to the show, my love. i wanted to, but ââ
âbut you didnât,â you said flatly, crossing your arms.
she flinched. âi know. iâm sorry.â
you shook your head, your voice quieter. âyouâre always sorry, jimin, and it doesnât change anything.â
for a moment, neither of you said anything.
âlet me take you home,â she said suddenly, her voice breaking the silence. âjustâŠplease. let me come home. i want to talk. let me fix this.â
she looked terrible â tired. the bags under her eyes indicated that sheâd been crying, the sight of her tugging your heartstrings.
you stared at her for a long moment before sighing softly. âfine.â
the drive to your shared apartment was quiet. jimin glanced at you occasionally, trying to make small talk, but you stared out the window, your expression unreadable.
when you got to your shared apartment, it felt strange walking in again, like she was intruding something she shouldnât be a part of.
everything was still the same.
her old hoodie still hung on the back of the chair in the living room. her favourite mug; chipped at the rim, sat on the kitchen shelf. and piles of her shoes were still lined up neatly by the door.
she felt her throat close as she picked up the hoodie, fingers trembling. âyou didnât move anything,â she whispered.
you paused, turning to look at her. âof course it is.â
her voice cracked. âyou didnâtâŠyou didnât throw anything out?â
âwhy would i?â you replied softly, setting your bag down on the table. âi was still hoping youâd come home one day.â
she sank onto the sofa, her head in her hands. her eyes burned, the weight of her guilt crashing over her all at once. she looked down at her lap, her shoulders trembling slightly.
you turned at the sound of a soft sob, stunned. âjimin?â
ây/n,â she looked up at, her voice breaking as tears streamed down her face. âiâm so sorry.â
you stared at her for a moment, surprised to see her like this.
âiâve been so caught up in everything that i forgot,â she whispered, her voice choked. âi forgot what thisâŠwhat you mean to me. iâve been so afraid of losing everything that i ended up hurting the one person whoâs always been there for me.â
you felt your own throat tighten as you watched her wipe her face with the sleeves of her hoodie, her tears unfiltered. she never cried â not like this.
slowly, you stepped toward her and sat down on the edge of the sofa beside her.
she reached for your hand, her fingers trembling as she gripped desperately, afraid that youâd pull away. âi donât want to lose you. pleaseâŠplease donât let me lose you.â
your heart clenched painfully, and you sat down beside her, letting her hold onto you like you were the only thing keeping her from falling apart.
âyou just need to talk to me, my love,â you murmured, your voice soft but firm. âyou canât keep shutting me out. i need to know you still want this â still want us.â
âi do,â she whispered, tears still spilling down her cheeks. âmore than anything.â
you sighed, leaning your head back against the sofa. âyouâre home now.â
she nodded, squeezing your hand tighter. âiâll do better. i swear.â
you looked at her then, seeing the sincerity in her tear-streaked face. she looked small, like the girl who used to curl up beside you in this very apartment, sharing dreams she never thought would come true.
sheâd gotten so far.
â§ïœ„ïŸ: *â§ïœ„ïŸ:*
a month had passed and though jimin tried to make an effort, the space between you only seemed to grow. the list on her relentless schedule grew longer with each passing day â leaving no room for you. like always.
she started coming home more often, not to her luxury apartment, but home, to the apartment you both called yours.
sometimes she was too tired to say much, collapsing onto the couch while you worked on a new painting in the studio but her presence was enough.
âthis is where you work your magic, huh?â she said one evening, peeking her head into the room.
you looked up from the canvas, smirking faintly as you tucked a brush behind your ear. âmagic is a strong word, baby.â
ânah,â she murmured, crossing the room to press a kiss to your temple. âitâs magic to me.â
you didnât respond, but you smiled softly as she wandered back out, her footsteps light as she disappeared into the bedroom.
she tried, she really did â but it even felt like the universe was just pulling you two apart. there were calls scattered throughout the day, sweet but fleeting texts that felt more like habit than genuine conversation.
practice went late. howâs your day?
just saw a dog that looks like the one that peed on you
goodnight. i love you!
the words still made your heart ache, but it was different now: almost routine. and on her rare days off, you no longer got a call asking if you wanted to spend time together. or if she could come home to you.
instead, you saw photos online; grainy shots on social media, taken at a distance but unmistakable â jimin out with other idols, at parties, smiling brightly in the dim glow of neon lights. you recognised the faces of her friends, ryujin and yeji among them and the aespa girls were always there too, which gave you some relief. but it still hurt.
you werenât her person anymore. and you sat just right where she left you.
one evening, you were sitting at your parentsâ kitchen table, a cup of tea warming your hands as your mum watched you carefully. your dad sat nearby, pretending to read a book but clearly listening to every word.
the quiet ache in your chest refused to let go as you tried to focus on the tv chatter.
it was your birthday.
and while your parents had gone out of their way to make it special, the absence of a single message from jimin loomed over you like a shadow.
âyouâre quiet today,â she said gently, passing you a slice of bread.
you forced a smile, wrapping your hands around the mug. âjust tired. itâs been a long week.â
your dad glanced up from his book, his brows furrowing. âyouâre not supposed to be tired on your birthday. youâre supposed to be happy.â
âi am happy,â you said quickly, though your voice lacked conviction.
she gave you a knowing look, the kind that only mothers could master. âhas she called yet?â
you hesitated, your throat tightening. âsheâs busy.â
âbusy?â he repeated, setting his book down with a soft thud. âtoo busy to call on your birthday?â
âdad, itâs not like that,â you said quietly, though the words felt hollow.
âand she doesnât tell you anything anymore?â she asked gently, brow furrowed.
ânot really,â you murmured, stirring your tea absently. âshe calls, she texts but itâsâŠsurface-level stuff. like sheâs trying to keep me calm without really including me in her life.â
âyouâve been together for years, kiddo. have you told her how this makes you feel?â
âiâve tried,â you said, voice small. âbut she doesnât hear me. itâs likeâŠiâm shouting into a void and sheâs not even there to listen.â
ây/n, love,â she began softly, reaching for your hand, âweâve known jimin for years. we know sheâs a good person, but even good people make mistakes, they can get lost.â
âsheâs busy. her life has changed,â you replied, repeating the excuse youâd given yourself countless times.
he shook his head. âbeing busy doesnât mean she canât try. you deserve someone who makes you feel seen, y/n. we accept the love we think we deserve, and you ââ he pointed at you gently. âdeserve so much more than feeling invisible.â
you swallowed hard, the words hitting you square in the chest. âi love her,â you said softly. âbut i donât know if she loves me the same way anymore.â
your mum gave your hand a small squeeze. âthen maybe itâs time you ask yourself whether love is enough to keep holding on.â
the words settled heavily in your chest, but you forced a small smile, not wanting to ruin the moment. âthank you, mum, dad. and thank you for this,â you gestured to the table, trying to shift the focus.
âwe just want you to be happy, kiddo,â your dad said, squeezing your shoulder.
you returned to your apartment later that evening, the quiet space feeling colder than usual just like the season. you hadnât heard from jimin all day ânot a call, not a text. you tried to tell yourself it was fine, that she was busy with rehearsals or a schedule she couldnât control. but as the hours dragged on, the ache in your chest grew heavier.
it was nearly midnight when your phone finally rang. your heart leapt as her name flashed on the screen, and for a moment, you hesitated. but you answered anyway.
âhey,â you said softly, trying to keep your voice steady.
âmy love,â jiminâs voice came through the line, soft and warm. you could hear the faint hum of noise in the background â music, voices â before it quieted. âare you busy?â
you leaned back against the couch cushions, clutching the phone tighter. âno. justâŠrelaxing. where are you?â
âstill at the studio,â she said, her tone carrying that familiar exhaustion. âweâre running late again, but i just wanted to hear your voice.â
your chest ached at how sweet she sounded âsoft, almost needy.
âyou sound tired,â you murmured. âhave you eaten?â
ânot yet,â she admitted. âbut i will. promise.â
you smiled faintly. âyou always say that.â
âbecause you always ask,â she replied softly. âhow was your day? tell me about it.â
you hesitated, surprised at how genuine she sounded as you swallowed the lump forming in your throat. âit was fine. quiet, mostly. i went to see my parents.â
she really forgot your birthday.
âhow are they?â she asked quickly, her tone filled with genuine curiosity. âi miss them. did your dad make his lemon bread again?â
you managed a faint smile despite the ache in your chest. âyeah, he still calls it his signature recipe.â
she laughed softly, the sound tugging at your heart. âi wish i couldâve been there. your mumâs tea, your dadâs breadâŠi miss all of it. and them. and you.
your heart squeezed painfully at her words.
âthey miss you too,â you mumbled quietly.
you heard faint shouting in the background â yizhuoâs voice calling, âis that y/n? let me say hi!â
ânope,â jimin said firmly, her voice playful but resolute. you heard shuffling, then a door slam shut. âiâm hiding in the bathroom. theyâre trying to steal the phone.â
you couldnât help but laugh. âyouâre ridiculous.â
âyou love me,â she teased softly.
âi do,â you admitted quietly, the words slipping out before you could stop them.
there was a beat of silence on her end before she whispered, âi love you too.â
you closed your eyes, holding the phone to your ear like it might pull her closer. âi miss you,â you added, forcing the words out before your emotions could betray you.
âi miss you more baby, iâll be home soon,â she heaved a sigh. âiâll get them to drop me off at our place if you donât mind.â
our place â it sounded nice, but you donât know if it held so much meaning anymore. the apartment was quiet, unbearably so. the only sound was the faint hum of the heater.
âbaby?â her voice cut through the line, a set of knocks coming from her end. âare you still there or did you fall asleep? i have to go!â
âyes, sorry,â you sniffled. âi love you, see you at home.â
âlove you too, bye,â she whispered; you heard shuffling, then the line went dead.
your eyes burned as tears spilled over, hot against your cheeks. youâd told yourself you wouldnât cry tonight, but it was so hard to sit here, in the apartment that still held so many memories of her feeling like you were the only one left trying to hold onto them.
the thought echoed in your mind, relentless and cruel. no matter how much you tried to rationalise it: how busy she was, how hectic her life had become â it didnât change the fact that sheâd forgotten a day that once felt sacred between you.
the girl who used to light up at the sight of you, whoâd once been your rock, that jimin felt like a ghost now, a memory fading further with each passing day.
you buried your face in your hands as the sobs came harder. you lifted your head up when you heard a buzz on the table, phone lighting up.

well, at least she remembered.
part of you still hoped sheâd walk through the door, even if it was late and sweep you into her arms, apologising for everything â for forgetting your birthday, for the distance, for the way sheâd made you feel so small.
for everything.
but the hours dragged on and the door never opened.
you curled up on the couch, the blanket pulled tightly around you like a shield, and cried until your throat was raw and your chest ached.
you loved jimin.
but tonight, as the silence stretched on and your tears soaked the pillow beneath you, it felt like that love wasnât enough to fill the growing void sheâd left in her wake.
â§ïœ„ïŸ: *â§ïœ„ïŸ:*
a few days later, you didnât hear from karina and neither did she hear from you. you were tired of chasing after her love, of being neglected. instead, her friends were the only ones making an effort to get you out of the apartment.

the apartment felt both familiar and foreign when you stepped inside an hour later. outside was freezing cold and their heater being cranked up was so inviting.
ây/n!â aeri practically shouted when she opened the door, pulling you into a hug before you could even step inside. âabout fucking time.â
âwe thought you forgot about us,â minjeong said from her spot on the couch, where she was curled up with a blanket.
âshe canât forget us,â yizhuo added, peeking her head around the corner from the kitchen. âwe haunt her dreams.â
you laughed softly, slipping off your shoes. âyouâre all ridiculous.â
âand you love us,â aeri replied smugly, grabbing your hand to pull you toward the kitchen. âcome on. weâre starving, and we saw the grocery bags.
âwhere is karina?â you asked, feeling your throat tighten. you were hoping sheâd be hereâŠand maybe talk to you.
she raised an eyebrow. âkarina who now? since when did you ever call her that? and sheâs out with ryujin and yeji right now.â
since i stopped knowing her, you thought. and yet another free schedule she refused to spend time with you on.
âjust in case i slip up and call her baby in front of everyone,â you mumbled. gotta get used to it.â
âtea or coffee, y/n?â minjeong smiled as she took your coat in her hand. âwe have matcha too.â
âcoffee, please,â you nodded as you placed the bags on the counter. âat least someone in this room cares about me.â
âyah!â aeri slapped your shoulder playfully. âning, get our weapon.â
and before you knew it, minjeong covered your eyes with her palms. âdonât even try to wiggle out of here â ning, hurry up!â
you could hear giggling and whispering as minjeong slowly uncovered your vision, revealing a beautiful white box wrapped in satin just sitting on the counter.
âyou didnât think weâd forget, did you?â aeri said with a smirk, gesturing for you to sit.
âweâve been busy, but we didnât want to let it go uncelebrated,â minjeong added, smiling softly.
your throat tightened as you looked at them, their bright smiles and genuine excitement pulling at your heart.
âguys, you didnât have to do this,â you said quietly, sitting down as yizhuo plopped down beside you.
âwe wanted to,â aeri nudged the box closer to you. ânow open it before ningning explodes.â
âhey!â the girl protested, though she grinned just as widely.
you carefully untied the ribbon, lifting the lid to reveal a collection of beautifully wrapped items. your eyes widened as you started pulling them out one by one.
âyou guysâŠâ
first, a sleek cartier box holding a stunning watch, its elegant design making your breath catch.
âthatâs from all of us,â minjeong smiled shyly. âwe wanted you to have something special.â
âit was mostly her idea, youâre always asking for the time but you never have the watch for it,â yizhuo revealed, making minjeong slap her playfully.
next, a stack of cookbooks, each one carefully chosen. âbecause we know youâre basically our personal chef,â aeri teased.
then a set of high-quality art supplies â paints, brushes and sketchbooks, each item carefully selected. âning picked those out,â minjeong mentioned, pointing at her proudly. âshe insisted on the fancy stuff.â
ânothing but the best for our artist,â yizhuo said with a grin.
but it was the last item that made your breath hitch â a photo album.
your hands trembled slightly as you opened it, flipping through pages filled with photos of you and jimin, some candid, some posed. moments you didnât even know had been captured â her laughing as you cooked together, the two of you curled up on the couch, a blurry shot of her kissing your cheek while you looked embarrassed.
âweâve been taking these over the years,â aeri said softly. âthought you might like them all in one place.â
you pressed a hand to your mouth as tears welled up in your eyes.
ây/n, are you crying?â minjeong asked, leaning closer, her voice full of concern.
âno,â you mumbled, wiping at your cheeks with a laugh. âokay, maybe.â
âwe just wanted you to know how much we love you,â minjeong muttered, sitting down on the other side of you. âyouâve always been there for usâ even when you didnât have to be. you deserve to feel special.â
you closed the album carefully, holding it to your chest as fresh tears fell. âthank you. iâŠi donât even know what to say. this is a lot.â
ânothingâs too much for you,â aeri said firmly.
âbesides, jiminâs probably already spoiled you, right?â yizhuo added with a grin. âwhat did she get you?â
the question hit you like a punch to the stomach, your mind going blank as you scrambled for an answer. âuh,â you began, your voice trembling slightly. âkarinaâŠshe got me this really expensive ring. itâs beautiful.â
aeri raised an eyebrow. âa ring? thatâs a big deal.â
âyeah,â you said quickly, forcing a smile. âitâsâŠa promise ring.â
your heart twisted painfully as the lie left your lips.
minjeong clapped her hands together, grinning. âof course she did. sheâs always been extra when it comes to you.â
you nodded, your smile wavering as you clutched the photo album tighter.
-
the conversation moved on, but the weight of your words lingered in your chest. you knew you shouldnât have lied, but admitting the truth, that karina had completely forgotten your birthday felt too raw, too painful.
the apartment buzzed with warmth and noise as you worked in the kitchen, sleeves pushed up and hands busy slicing tomatoes and kneading fresh dough for pasta. aeri hovered nearby, stealing bites of cheese while yizhuo pestered you with questions about how to properly season garlic bread.
âyou donât get to criticise when you burn instant noodles,â you teased, flicking flour in her direction.
âthat was one time,â yizhuo shot back, dodging the flour.
minjeong wandered in at one point, sneaking a spoonful of the sauce and groaning dramatically. ây/n, youâre a genius. we donât deserve you.â
âyou really donât,â you replied with a faint smile.
âcareful,â aeri teased, leaning on the counter. âif you cook like this all the time, we might just keep you here.â
âitâs tempting,â you admitted softly, but the words carried a weight you didnât intend.
they didnât press further.
âmy parents visited your gallery, by the way,â yizhuo added.
âwhat?â you asked, surprised. âwhen? abd why didnât you tell me?â
âlike two days ago, they said it was like stepping into a dream,â yizhuo explained, her voice full of admiration. âthey loved it, y/n. i swear they were ready to redecorate their whole house.â
you smiled, your chest swelling with pride. âthatâs really sweet of them â i wish i was there to meet them.â
âyouâre so talented,â minjeong added from her seat at the table. âjiminâs lucky. she gets to be your muse.â
the mention of karina made you pause for a split second, but you forced yourself to smile. âthanks, minjeongie.â
dinner was a lively affair, the girls laughing and talking over each other as they devoured the dishes youâd made. it felt good to be here, to see them again, even if a quiet part of you wondered why your own girlfriend hadnât said anything about inviting you over herself.
it was minjeong who dropped the bombshell halfway through dinner.
âwe have a world tour coming up,â she said casually, twirling spaghetti onto her fork.
you froze. âthe what?â
aeri shot her a look, as if to say âwhyâd you say that?â but the girl didnât seem to notice.
âthe tour,â she repeated, looking at you. âit starts in a couple of months. did jimin notâŠtell you?â
you felt your chest tighten, though you kept your voice even. âno. she didnât.â
the table fell quiet for a beat. yizhuo fidgeted with her fork, avoiding your gaze, while aeri sighed softly. âsheâs probably just waiting for the right time to tell you,â she said, though it sounded more like an excuse.
âitâs fine,â you replied with a small, forced smile. âitâs a huge opportunity. iâm proud of you guys.â
and you were. but beneath the pride was a sharp ache â an understanding that this would mean months of not seeing her, of waiting for calls that might never come.
and what might be the end of your relationship.
after dinner, you were curled up on the sofa, leaning against the back of it while aeri and yizhuo picked a movie to watch and minjeong finished up the dishes.
âyou mean you have terrible taste,â yizhuo shot back at something aeri said, crossing her arms as she stood near the couch.
âplease tell them notting hill is a masterpiece,â yizhuo pleaded, looking at you for reassurance.
âit is,â you said, laughing softly. âjulia roberts is iconic.â
âsee!â she yelled triumphantly, flopping onto the couch.
as they began another argument about snacks and who got control of the remote, you really settled onto the couch, letting the warmth of their presence ease some of the tension that had been building in your chest for days.
the argument over the movie ended in a win for yizhuo and the group eventually settled into the couch with bowls of popcorn. the soft glow of the television illuminated the room as notting hill began, the familiar soundtrack filling the air.
minjeong sat down beside you, the couch sinking further. âsorry,â she pursed her lips.
you playfully rolled your eyes, groaning. âi was already comfortable!â
your phone sat untouched on the coffee table, the screen dark. you couldnât stop glancing at it, hoping it would light up with her name.
but it didnât.
all the lights were turned off, the tv illuminating most of the apartment. it was late when the door finally opened, and karina stumbled in.
the first thing you noticed was the smell âalcohol, faint but unmistakable. she looked slightly disheveled, her hair loose and falling into her eyes, her cheeks flushed as if sheâd been out drinking all night.
ây/n?â her voice was sharp, her brows furrowing as she stopped in her tracks. âwhat are you doing here?â
the room fell silent. yizhuo paused the movie, her gaze flicking between the two of you.
âwe invited her,â minjeong said, standing up and crossing her arms. âshe didnât just show up, jimin.â
âare you drunk?â aeri asked concerningly, stepping closer to your girlfriend. âmaybe sit down before you say something stupid.â
karina shot her a glare before turning back to you. âwhy didnât you tell me you were coming?â
you frowned, your chest tightening at her tone. âbecause i didnât think i needed to, karina.â
âyou should have,â she snapped, frustration clear in her voice.
âokay, thatâs enough,â aeri said, stepping between you two. ây/n didnât do anything wrong. we invited her because we missed her.â
âcan i have some privacy?â karina asked sharply, her gaze hardening.
aeri exchanged a look with yizhuo before sighing heavily. âfine. but donât make this worse, jimin. and minjeong is another world you have to tackle.â
she and ningning retreated into the kitchen, but minjeong stayed rooted in place, her arms crossed as she watched karina carefully.
âminjeong,â she warned, her voice low.
âdonât start with me,â she replied, not moving an inch.
âi mean it,â she muttered, her tone sharper now. âgo.â
minjeong looked at you, her gaze softening slightly. âare you okay?â
you nodded faintly, though your chest ached. âitâs fine. iâll be fine.â
reluctantly, minjeong followed the others into the kitchen, leaving you and karina alone in the living room.
âwhatâs wrong with you?â you asked softly, your voice trembling. âwhy are you acting like this? i havenât even seen you in days.â
she sighed heavily, running a hand through her hair as she slumped onto the arm of the couch. âi justâŠi didnât expect you to be here, okay?â
âwhy does it matter?â you shot back, your frustration bubbling to the surface. âyouâre the one who hasnât been around. whatâs wrong with me spending time with people who actually want to see me?â
her face softened slightly, her gaze dropping to the floor. âitâs not thatâŠi just wish youâd told me.â
âwhy? so you could avoid me too?â you asked bitterly, the words spilling out before you could stop them.
her head snapped up, her eyes narrowing. âthatâs not fair.â
âwhatâs not fair is me finding out about your world tour from them,â you said, your voice rising.
she froze, her eyes widening slightly.
âyou didnât even tell me,â you continued, your voice trembling. âyouâve had all this time, and you couldnât say a word? do you know how that feels?â
âi was going to tell you,â she said defensively, though her voice lacked conviction.
âwhen, jimin?â you asked, stepping closer. âwhen it was too late for me to even process it? when you were already gone?â
she sighed heavily, pinching the bridge of her nose. âcan we not do this here?â
âwhy not? because itâs inconvenient for you?â you shot back.
âbecause itâs not their business,â she snapped, gesturing toward the kitchen. âcome with me. weâll talk in my room.â
you hesitated, your chest tightening.
ây/n,â she said more softly this time, her voice steady but firm. âplease. just come with me.â
you glanced toward the kitchen, where aeri and yizhup were clearly trying to eavesdrop. minjeong stood leaning against the counter, her expression unreadable as she watched you.
finally, you nodded, following her down the hallway.
as she opened the door to her room, she turned back to glance at minjeong.
âstay out of it,â she warned.
minjeongâs gaze narrowed, but she said nothing as you stepped into the room, the door closing softly behind you.
-
the room was quiet, save for the faint hum of the heater. karina stood by the door, her arms crossed, while you stood near her desk, trying to keep your emotions in check.
âso,â you began, your voice trembling slightly, âyou were going to tell me about the world tour?â
âi was,â she replied flatly, avoiding your gaze.
âwhen?â you asked, your voice sharper this time. âafter you left? after i found out from some interview or social media post?â
âdonât be dramatic, y/n,â she muttered, running a hand through her hair. âi was going to tell you when the time was right.â
âthe time was right weeks ago,â you snapped, your frustration spilling over. âdo you even hear yourself? iâm supposed to be part of your life. why am i always the last to know about everything that matters?â
âbecause itâs hard,â she shot back, her voice rising. âitâs hard to keep up with everything. my career, my schedules, this relationship â you donât get it.â
âno, i donât,â you admitted, tears stinging your eyes. âbecause you donât let me in. you shut me out. you donât talk to me, you donât tell me things, and then you act like iâm the problem for wanting to be included in your life.â
âmaybe you are the problem,â she said coldly, the words cutting through the air like a knife.
you froze, staring at her in disbelief. âwhat?â
âyouâre so needy, y/n,â she continued, her voice harsh. âyouâre always clinging to me, always wanting more. iâm doing my best, and itâs never enough for you.â
âneedy?â you repeated, your voice trembling with anger. âwhat the fuck?â
âyes, needy,â she snapped. âitâs like you canât function without me. itâs not my fault you donât have any other friends. you built your whole life around us, and now you expect me to do the same?â
the tears youâd been holding back finally spilled over, but you refused to let them stop you. âthatâs not fair,â you whispered. âi sacrificed so much for you because i love you, karina.â
âlife isnât fair, y/n,â she said, her tone bitter. âand itâs not my fault you donât have anything else going on. i didnât ask you to make me the centre of your world.â
you stared at her, your chest tightening with each word she threw at you. âjimin, do you even hear yourself right now?â
âi do,â she said sharply. âand you should, too. my world doesnât revolve around you, y/n. it never did, and it never will. my life will keep spinning with or without you in it.â
the words hit you like a physical blow, stealing the breath from your lungs. for a moment, the room was silent, save for the sound of your shaky breathing.
âyou donât mean that,â you whispered, your voice barely audible.
âmaybe i do,â she muttered, looking away. âyou donât belong in my ââ
your chest tightened painfully, and before you could think, you raised your hand and slapped her right across the face.
the sound echoed through the room, sharp and final.
her head snapped to the side, her hand flying up to her cheek as she stared at you coldly â eyes devoid of the love she held for you that filled them.
âyou donât get to talk to me like that,â you said, your voice trembling with anger and heartbreak. ânot after everything weâve been through. not after everything iâve done for you and all the bullshit you put me through.â
you grabbed the photo album from her desk, the one the girls had made for you.
âthis was supposed to be a gift,â you shoved it into her hands. âfor my birthday. the one you forgot. but i donât want it anymore. you can have it.â
she stared at the album in her hands, her mouth opening slightly as if she wanted to say something, but no words came out.
âweâre done, jimin, karina, or whoever the fuck you are right now,â you said, your voice breaking. âi canât do this anymore. i canât keep loving someone who doesnât love me back. itâs over.â
ây/n ââ she began, but you shook your head, cutting her off.
âdonât,â you raised your hand, voice firm despite the tears streaming down your face. âdonât say anything. justâŠdonât.â
you turned and walked out of the room, slamming the door behind you.
as you gathered the rest of your things with quiet sniffles, you felt a hand stop you. you looked up at minjeong with shaky breaths.
âlet me help you, y/n,â she started putting your gifts in the box whilst aeri handed you your coat.
there was an unspoken silence â it told them everything they needed to know. as you left the dorm, the cold night air hit you like a wave, but it did little to numb the pain in your chest. and even though it felt like your heart was breaking into a million pieces, you knew it was the right thing to do.
because you deserved more than this.
â§ïœ„ïŸ: *â§ïœ„ïŸ:*
the morning after the breakup, you woke up to a silence so thick it felt like it might suffocate you. the cozy apartment you once loved, nestled in the corner of a quiet street, now felt hollow.
this was the place where youâd built a life with jimin â before she was karina. it was your shared sanctuary, the place where laughter echoed in the evenings, where the smell of her favourite tea lingered in the air, where you both dreamed of a future that now felt like a distant memory.
you sat on the edge of the sofa, your phone in your hand. the screen lit up with a flood of messages â aeri, yizhuo and minjeong. they were worried, apologising for the night before, telling you they were there if you wanted to talk.
but you couldnât face them. not because theyâd done anything wrong, but because they were a part of jiminâs world; the one she didnât want you to be a part of.
your thumb hovered over the screen for only a moment before you made the decision.
aeri-chan. ningx2. minjeonggg.
you blocked each of them, one by one.
when it was done, you set the phone down, staring at it blankly. it felt like another thread severed, another piece of your life with jimin falling away.
-
the next task was harder.
you stood in the middle of the bedroom youâd decorated for her, staring at the collection of her belongings scattered around. her favourite hoodie was still draped over the chair in the corner, her skincare products neatly lined up in the bathroom and stacks of her old clothes in the wardrobe.
with trembling hands, you began packing them into boxes. each item was a reminder of the life youâd built together, and as you held them, memories surfaced unbidden.
the books: the ones sheâd never quite finished, tucked away on the shelf.
your hands moved methodically, placing everything into boxes, but your mind drifted. you remembered how sheâd sit at the tiny kitchen table, humming softly as she waited for you to finish cooking. how sheâd sneak up behind you while you painted, her arms wrapping around your waist as she whispered, âyouâre amazing, you know that?â
you paused when you came across framed photos of you throughout the years â from that one vintage photobooth in gangnam.
the tears didnât come. you were past that now. there was only an ache; deep and heavy that settled into your chest like it might never leave.
you knew what you had to do.
the photos couldnât stay. not for your sake, and not for hers.
gathering every picture of the two of you, you made your way to the kitchen. with a deep sigh, you lit the edges with a match, watching as the flames consumed the images.
it wasnât anger that drove you. jimin was karina of aespa now, a name and face known to millions. these moments were yours, and yours alone. no one else needed to see them.
as the last photo burned, you stood in the quiet kitchen, the faint smell of smoke lingering in the air.
you stood in the doorway, looking out at the space you had called home. the sofa where the two of you had spent countless nights watching movies. the tiny kitchen where youâd cooked her favourite meals. the walls that had once been filled with laughter and love.
you were going to miss this place; you had built a life with her here, after all.
it was the one place where she wasnât karina, but just jimin.
that life was gone now.
within three days, with your dadâs help, you packed up your things and moved out of the apartment. he worked tirelessly, carrying box after box to the car, only pausing to check on you every so often.
âyou okay?â he asked gently as you stood in the now-empty living room, staring at the bare walls.
you nodded, though your chest felt tight. âyeah. i justâŠi need a minute.â
he gave you a reassuring pat on the shoulder before stepping outside, leaving you alone.
you took one last look around, the memories flashing before your eyes. the laughter, the love, the life youâd built here â they were all distant now.
then, you closed the door behind you, feeling both the weight of the past and the faintest glimmer of relief.
-
the air inside the gallery was heavy with the scent of paint and wood varnish, a smell that had always felt like home to you.
today, it carried a bittersweet edge. the light streaming through the windows highlighted the scattered boxes and carefully wrapped canvases as you stood in the centre of the room, trying to figure out where to begin.
ây/n, where do you want these?â
you turned to see jaehyung, one of your long-time students, balancing a stack of sketchbooks in his arms. his brows furrowed with focus, though his boyish grin peeked through.
âjust over there by the window, jae,â you said, gesturing toward a corner where youâd already begun stacking supplies.
âgot it,â he replied, setting them down gently before glancing around. âi canât believe this place is closing. it feelsâŠweird.â
âyouâre telling me,â mr. kim chimed in from across the room, his usual warm demeanour tinged with sadness. he was one of your older students, a retired schoolteacher whoâd taken up art as a hobby. âthis gallery has been like a second home for us.â
you smiled faintly, though the weight of their words pressed on your chest. âitâs not forever,â you said gently. âjustâŠa break. for now.â
mr. kim paused, studying you with his kind eyes. âsometimes a break is necessary, y/n. donât forget, youâve built something special here. weâll be waiting when youâre ready to come back.â
âyeah,â jaehyung added, his grin widening. âand in the meantime, youâre stuck with us online.â
you laughed softly, the sound easing some of the tension in the room. âiâll hold you to that. i expect all of you to still send me your projects, okay? no slacking off just because iâm not here to check in person.â
âyou got it, boss,â jaehyung said with a mock salute, earning a chuckle from mr. kim.
the three of you worked steadily throughout the day, wrapping paintings, packing supplies, and carefully disassembling easels. the gallery grew quieter as the shelves emptied, the once-vibrant space slowly transforming into a blank canvas.
as the last box was taped shut, you glanced around the room, frowning.
this gallery had been your dream â a place where you could share your passion and build a community.
ây/n,â mr. kim said gently, interrupting your thoughts. âyou okay?â
you turned to him, offering a small smile. âyeah. itâs justâŠhard to say goodbye.â
âitâs not goodbye,â jaehyung said quickly. âitâs âsee you later.â right?â
you chuckled, nodding. âright.â
once everything was packed, you sent out a final email to your students.
-
Dear Everyone,
The gallery will be closed until further notice. Thank you for your support, your creativity, and the joy youâve brought into this space. Iâll miss seeing your faces every week, but this isnât the end â just a pause.
If you need anything or want to continue lessons online, please donât hesitate to reach out. You know where to find me.
With gratitude, Y/n
-
the last thing you did was hang a small notice on the gallery door.
you stepped back, staring at the sign as it swayed gently in the breeze. the weight of finality settled in your chest.
âready?â jaehyung asked, stepping up beside you.
you nodded, taking one last look at the gallery before turning away.
âgoodbye.â
âsee you later,â mr. kim corrected you firmly.
-
the morning was cold, the air sharp and heavy with the promise of snow. as you carried the last box of your ex-girlfriendâs belongings down the stairs.
mrs. choiâs apartment was just two doors down from yours and when you knocked, she answered almost immediately, her warm, familiar smile faltering slightly when she saw your expression.
ây/n-ah,â she said gently, stepping aside to let you in. âcome in, come in. itâs freezing out there.â
you stepped inside, the warmth of her small, cozy apartment wrapping around you like a blanket. her place smelled of fresh kimchi and tea.
âyouâre all packed, then?â she asked softly, gesturing for you to set the final box near her kitchen table.
âyeah,â you replied, your voice trembling slightly. âthis is the last of it.â
she glanced at the box, her expression growing even softer. she reached out, placing a hand on your arm. âyouâre really leaving, arenât you?â
you nodded, swallowing hard. âi need to, ajumma.â
she looked at you for a long moment, her eyes glistening with unshed tears. âyou and jiminâŠalways thought you two would make it. watching you both grow up, seeing the love you had â it was something special, y/n.â
her words made your throat tighten, but you forced a small smile. âit was special,â you said quietly. âit justâŠwasnât enough.â
she sighed, her shoulders sagging slightly. âsometimes, the ones we lose find their way back to us,â she murmured. ânot always, but sometimes. and if they donât, itâs only because something better is waiting.â
you looked down at your hands, her words both comforting and bittersweet.
âyouâve always been kind, y/n,â she continued, her voice warm and steady. âto jimin, to everyone. donât let this make you hard. the world needs more people like you.â
her words brought tears to your eyes, but you blinked them away quickly, not wanting to break down here. âthank you, mrs. choi. for everything.â
she smiled, patting your hand before glancing at the box. âiâll keep this for her. sheâll come by eventually and iâll make sure she gets it.â
âthank you,â you said again, your voice barely above a whisper.
as you stood there, ready to leave, she suddenly tilted her head, a thoughtful look crossing her face. ânow, tell me, is she on tv?â
you blinked, surprised by the question. âyeah,â you said softly, a small, proud smile tugging at your lips despite everything. âsheâs doing really well. sheâsâŠsheâs amazing.â
her eyes lit up and she clapped her hands together. âi knew it was her and my mahjong friends called me crazy. she must be famous!â
you nodded, the pride in your chest mingling with the ache of loss. âshe is now.â
she frowned, reaching out to pull you into a hug, her small frame surprisingly strong as she held you close. âyouâll be okay, y/n,â she said softly. âi know you will. and wherever you go, theyâll be lucky to have you.â
âthank you,â you murmured, your voice breaking slightly as you clung to her for just a moment longer.
when you finally stepped back, she smiled at you again, her eyes filled with a quiet sadness but also hope.
âgoodbye, mrs. choi,â you said softly, your hand lingering on the doorknob.
âgoodbye, y/n-ah,â she replied, her voice warm. âdonât be a stranger. and remember â sometimes, lost ones find their way home.â
as you stepped out into the cold morning air, her words stayed with you, wrapping around your heart like a fragile thread of hope.
â§ïœ„ïŸ: *â§ïœ„ïŸ:*
the christmas tree sparkled in the warm glow of the living room, the scent of pine mingling with the faint aroma of mulled wine and cinnamon candles.
you carefully placed the last ornament â a delicate glass bauble your mum insisted on saving for last: on the highest branch.
âperfect,â your dad said, stepping back to admire the tree with a satisfied nod. âiâd say weâve outdone ourselves this year.â
âwe always do,â your mum chimed in, setting down a tray of wine glasses on the coffee table.
you stepped back, joining them as the three of you stood side by side, taking in the sight of your handiwork. the tree was a masterpiece, adorned with years of collected ornaments, each one holding a memory.
she handed you a glass of merlot, raising hers with a smile. âto family,â she said softly.
âto family,â you and your dad echoed, clinking glasses.
the warmth of the wine spread through you, and for the first time in weeks, you felt a sense of peace.
you sank into the couch with your parents, the fire crackling softly in the background. as you sipped your drink, the weight of the past few months hung heavy in the air.
âthis isnât how i thought the year would end,â you admitted quietly, staring at the tree. âi meanâŠi didnât think iâd be single for christmas.â
your mum placed a gentle hand on your knee, her eyes soft with understanding. âlife has a way of surprising us, sweetheart. sometimes in ways we donât expect.â
your dad nodded, leaning forward to rest his elbows on his knees. âbut youâre here with us now, and we couldnât be prouder of you, y/n. youâve handled everything with so much grace.â
their support wrapped around you like a warm blanket, and you felt a lump rise in your throat. âi donât know what iâd do without you two,â you said, your voice trembling slightly. âthank you. for everything.â
she smiled, squeezing your knee. âyou donât have to thank us. thatâs what family is for.â
there was a pause, a comfortable silence as the three of you sat together. then your mum broke it, her tone gentle but curious. âso, whatâs next for you, y/n? whatâs the next chapter?â
you hesitated, swirling the wine in your glass as you gathered your thoughts. âactually,â you began slowly, âthereâs something i havenât told you.â
both of them turned to you, their expressions attentive.
âway before aespa debuted,â you said softly, âa gallery in paris has been sending me yearly invitations for an artist-in-residence program. itâs a huge opportunityâŠone iâve always dreamt of. butâŠi kept declining.â
your dad frowned slightly. âwhy?â
you took a deep breath, the words heavy on your tongue. âi didnât want to be far away from her. i didnât want to miss any part of her life, specially when she was working so hard to make her dreams come true.â
your mumâs expression softened, her eyes glistening. âoh, y/nâŠâ
âi made a lot of sacrifices,â you admitted, your voice steady but quiet. âand i donât regret loving her. but nowâŠi think itâs time i start saying yes to things for me.â
âare you going to accept this time?â he asked, his voice full of quiet encouragement.
you nodded, a small smile tugging at your lips. âi already did. iâm going to paris a week after the new year.â
she gasped, her smile wide as she reached over to hug you tightly. âparis! oh, sweetheart, thatâs wonderful!â
âabout time you did something for yourself,â he added with a proud grin.
she pulled back, a playful glint in her eye. âdo they have any good korean restaurants in paris?â she asked your dad.
he chuckled, shaking his head. âweâd better find out.â
âmaybe weâll come with you,â your mum teased, winking at you.
you laughed, the sound light and genuine. âyou two would love it.â
âto paris next week then!â
-
that night, as you lay in bed staring at the ceiling, your thoughts drifted to jimin.
there was no anger in your heart, no hatred for her. you couldnât hate her. she wasnât a bad person. she wasnât even a bad girlfriend â not entirely.
she was just someone who had been swept up in a world that demanded more than she could give.
you thought about who she was before the world knew her as karina â the girl who made you laugh until your sides ached, who held you when you cried, who whispered dreams of forever into the quiet of the night.
you had grown up together, loved each other deeply. and while it didnât last, it had been real.
âthank you,â you whispered into the darkness, not knowing if the words were meant for her, yourself, or both.
as you closed your eyes, the weight of the past began to lift, paris awaited.
â§ïœ„ïŸ: *â§ïœ„ïŸ:*
jimin stumbled out of her car, the freezing air biting at her cheeks as she stared up at the familiar apartment building. the snow fell in slow, heavy flakes, blanketing the quiet street in white. her breath came in uneven puffs, her heart pounding harder with every step she took toward the door.
her first day off in weeks and all she could think about was you. it had been over five weeks since sheâd seen you and she couldnât ignore the ache in her chest any longer.
it was the first time sheâd had enough space to think, to realise just how much had slipped through her fingers. she told herself it wasnât too late, that if she just got to you, everything would be okay.
she could explain, apologise, fix things â really try her hardest this time.
her hand trembled as she unlocked the door, her key sliding into place like muscle memory. she pushed it open, half expecting to see you curled up on the couch with a book or maybe in the kitchen painting something.
the first thing she noticed was the silence, heavy and suffocating. her eyes darted around the space, searching for any sign of you, but everything was gone.
the walls, once decorated with your paintings and small shelves of trinkets, were bare. the bookshelf was empty. the worn-out sofa, still in its usual spot, felt smaller without your blanket draped over it or the little pillow you always used.
ây/n?â she called out, her voice cracking.
no answer.
she stepped further inside, her footsteps echoing in the hollow space. the bedroom door was open, and when she walked in, the emptiness struck her all over again.
the closet was empty. no clothes, no art supplies, no trace of you. the desk where you used to work on sketches late at night was gone, leaving only faint scuff marks on the floor.
her chest tightened as she stood in the centre of the room, her breathing shallow.
âno,â she whispered to herself, shaking her head. âthis isnâtâŠthis canât be ââ
she turned back to the kitchen, her eyes frantically scanning the counters, hoping to find something that would tell her where youâd gone.
that was when she saw it â a folded piece of paper with her name written in your handwriting.
her hands trembled as she picked it up and opened it.
âjimin,
iâve left a box of your things with mrs. choi. there are about three of them filling up her apartment. please pick it up when you can. i asked her to keep it safe for you.
take care,
y/n.â
the note slipped from her fingers, landing softly on the floor.
for a long moment, she stood there, staring at the paper, her mind racing. you were gone.
-
her next stop was mrs. choiâs apartment, just two floors down. the elderly woman answered almost immediately, her kind face softening when she saw jimin.
âjimin-ah,â mrs. choi said gently, stepping aside to let her in. âcome in, dear. you must be freezing.â
she stepped inside, her eyes darting around as though expecting to find some sign of you here, even though she knew better. âmrs. choiâŠwhere is she? sheâs not at the apartment, and iâŠi thought maybeâŠâ
she sighed, her expression tinged with sadness. she gestured toward a neatly packed boxes sitting by the sofa. ây/n left before christmas, dear. she asked me to hold onto these for you.â
jimin stared at the boxes, her chest tightening. âsheâŠshe left?â
mrs. choi nodded, her voice soft. âshe didnât say much else, just that it was time for her to go.â
the words hit her like a physical blow, and her knees nearly buckled. âi didnât think sheâd actually leave,â she whispered, more to herself than to mrs. choi.
the older woman reached out, placing a comforting hand on her arm. âyou know, jimin, love canât grow if you donât take care of it. even the strongest love can wither if itâs left in the cold for too long.â
her eyes filled with tears, her throat tightening as she looked down at the box.
âsometimes,â mrs. choi continued, her voice even softer now, âthe ones we lose find their way back to us. but you have to be willing to meet them halfway.â
jimin nodded numbly, unable to respond.
âthank your, ajumma,â she bowed her head. âiâll have someone pick these up from you, but for now, i have to visit her gallery.â
-
the snow was heavier now, falling in thick flakes that clung to her hair and lashes as she sprinted down the familiar streets. when she reached the building, she stopped short, her heart sinking all over again.
the windows were dark, the inside barren. a small sign hung on the door:
âclosed until further notice. thank you for everything.â
her hands pressed against the cold glass as she peered inside. the space that had once been alive with your creativity and passion was empty, stripped of all the warmth and colour that made it yours.
her forehead rested against the glass as tears streamed down her face, her breath fogging the window.
ây/n,â she whispered, her voice cracking. âpleaseâŠâ
but there was nothing.
-
jimin gripped the steering wheel tightly, her knuckles white as tears blurred her vision. the snow fell heavier now, making it harder to see the road, but she didnât care.
the silence in the car was unbearable, filled only with the sound of her shaky breaths and the occasional muffled sob. she couldnât think clearly, couldnât breathe properly. she had spent weeks distracted by her career, ignoring the growing distance between you and now the weight of what she had done â what she had lost â was crashing down on her.
she shouldâve followed you that night.
her phone buzzed in the cupholder, and with trembling hands, she reached for it, barely able to see the screen through her tears. it was aeri.
âjimin, where are you?â aeriâs voice was steady but tinged with worry. âminjeong and ningning said you ran off. weâre freaking out ââ
âsheâs gone,â she interrupted, her voice cracking as the tears came harder. âaeri, sheâs gone.â
âwhoâs gone?â aeri asked, her voice softening with concern.
ây/n,â jimin sobbed, gripping the phone as if it were the only thing anchoring her. âi went to the apartment, sheâs not there. the gallery, itâs closed. mrs. choi said she left before christmas. i donât know where else to look.â
âyu jimin, breathe,â aeri said firmly, though her voice remained gentle. âwhere are you now?â
âdriving to her parentsâ house,â she whispered. âi justâŠi need to see her. i need to fix this.â
âokay,â the other girl said. there was a brief pause before she added, âiâll call our manager. weâll come get you.â
âno,â jimin pressed on, her voice trembling. âjust meet me there. please.â
âjimin,â aeri said again, her tone more insistent. âyou shouldnât be driving in this state. pull over. weâll come get you, okay?â
she hesitated, her grip tightening on the wheel, but the desperation in aeriâs voice broke through her haze. finally, she pulled over to the side of the road, the car skidding slightly on the icy pavement.
âplease hurry,â jimin whispered before hanging up.
when the van arrived, aeri was the first to step out, her face pale with worry as she rushed to jiminâs car. yizhuo and minjeong followed closely behind, their eyes wide with concern.
jimin opened the door, stumbling out into the snow as the sobs overtook her again.
âsheâs gone,â she choked out, her voice barely audible. âi fucking ruined everything and now sheâs gone.â
aeri caught her before she could fall, holding her tightly as she cried into her shoulder. yizhuo placed a hand on her back, her eyes glistening with unshed tears, while minjeong stood close, her arms crossed tightly over her chest as if trying to hold herself together.
âweâll figure it out,â minjeong reassured her, though her voice trembled. âletâs just go to her parentsâ house, okay? maybe theyâll know where she is.â
jimin nodded weakly, allowing them to guide her into the van.
the drive felt awfully long. when they finally arrived at your parentsâ house, the driveway was empty, the windows dark.
her heart sank as the reality began to set in.
she stumbled out of the van, ignoring the biting cold as she made her way to the front door.
ây/n!â she shouted, her voice echoing into the still night. âplease! iâm sorry! just talk to me!â
the silence was deafening.
she pounded on the door, her fist striking the wood harder and harder as tears streamed down her face.
ây/n!â she screamed again, her voice breaking.
there was no answer.
she backed away, her legs giving out as she fell into the snow. âno,â she whispered, shaking her head. âno, no, noâŠâ
the sobs came harder, wracking her body as she clutched at the ground.
minjeong knelt beside her, wrapping an arm around her shoulders while aeri crouched in front of her, gently holding her face.
âjimin,â yizhuo said softly, her voice breaking. âsheâs not here. we need to go.â
âi canât,â she sobbed, shaking her head violently. âi canât leave. she has to come back. sheâŠshe has to.â
âsheâs gone,â minjeong mumbled, her voice thick with emotion as she rubbed circles on her back. âbut it doesnât mean sheâs not coming back.â
jimin let out a guttural scream, the sound ripping through the night as she collapsed into minjeongâs arms.
âplease,â she whispered, her voice barely audible now. âjust let me stay. please.â
their manager stepped forward, his expression filled with sympathy. âkarina, we need to go. itâs not safe out here.â
jimin shook her head, her tears freezing on her cheeks. âi canâtâŠi canât leave her. i canât.â
aeriâs voice cracked as she gently pried jimin away from ningning. âjimin, sheâs not here. staying wonât change that.â
finally, after what felt like hours, jimin allowed them to guide her back into the van. her body felt heavy, her mind numb as she stared out the window at the dark house, her tears falling silently.
as the van pulled away, the snow continued to fall, blanketing the empty driveway in white.
and for the first time, jimin truly understood what it meant to lose the person she loved most.
â§ïœ„ïŸ: *â§ïœ„ïŸ:*
the end.

Jungkook is good at a lot of things
Hes a fantastic singer. He dances very well (even if he likes to fein shyness at parties). Jungkook can cook, he can multitask seamlessly and (almost) effortlessly, and he can put Jinhae to sleep in a matter of minutes⊠It would be much easier to list the things that Jungkook isn't good at.
Jungkook isn't very good at sharing.
He doesn't like sharing food, clothes or people.
You think it may be his biggest if not only flaw.
Jungkook considers the people in his life his. He doesn't expect them to have the same importance in someone else's life, as they do in his. And he doesn't expect them to think of other people the way they do of him, either.
You don't know if it's because he fears that he'll be replaced, or because he was raised as an only child. But whatever it was, Jungkook let it consume him. Holistically.
You remember how he had reacted when Yoongi- his mentor, had taken on a new intern. Jungkook and Yoongi had attended the same highschool within a few years of each other; and had met again when Yoongi was a TA at SNU. Yoongi had taken Jungkook under his wing, as less of a student, and more like a little brother; and their bond lasted way beyond college. Yoongi was so proud of Jungkook that he was practically All he spoke about. Jungkook had gotten used to things being that way.
Then one day, all of a sudden, Yoongi was no longer âJungkook, Jungkook, Jungkookâ; he was all âJimin, Jimin, Jiminâ much to the Younger's chagrin.
To his credit, Jungkook was nothing but nice to Jimin during the time he worked for Yoongi. He bought him coffee once in a while and even invited him out for drinks whenever the opportunity arose. Jimin was cool. Jungkook would even go as far as to say that Jimin was his friend. Jungkook barely knew the guy! He had nothing against him.
It was Yoongi he was pissed at.
Yoongi was the one who owed Jungkook his loyalty. Yoongi was the one who had nursed Jungkook through his first hangover, and held him when he cried about failing a class. Yoongi was there when Jungkook got his first, off campus apartment. Yoongi was Jungkook 's Yoongi.
At first, Yoongi didn't understand it. It made no sense that Jungkook seemed so fond of Jimin, yet he soured whenever the latter's name was mentioned. It gave him whiplash. It went on for a solid month and a half of Jungkook's scowls and petulant pouts for Yoongi to finally realize that something was deeply wrong, and that he needed to get to the bottom of it.
It took 2 bottles of soju and 3 glasses of whiskey for Jungkook to crack. His reasoning was so funny that Yoongi almost didn't feel bad for laughing at him. All it took to pacify Jungkook was for Yoongi to give him a hug, followed by a quick
âyou'll always be hyung's favourite, Kook-ah.â as he ruffled his hair.
Jungkook was only 22 when that had happened. And he'd like to believe he's grown a lot since then.
He's advanced enough in his career that he's not Mr. Bang's payroll anymore, but rather pays him. Jungkook has grown in a literal sense too, having had a growth spurt one random day after he turned 23 (there was no containing him once he realized that he was 6 feet tall) .
Jungkook has (helped) create life; your daughter Jinhae. It's the thing he's proudest of, second only to marrying you.
But Jungkook is only human.
So it's only natural that he feels an itch rise on the back of his neck everytime he picks Jinhae up from your apartment, and all she can talk about is your new boyfriend.
He got soâŠirritated the more Jinhae babbled on about âWoo- Wooâ that he felt a little silly. But who could blame him? He would be holding Jinhae 's hand as they walked through the park for their daddy daughter time, and every other sentence would be about this ââWoo Wooâ.
Seokjin had once joked that she had switched from being 'Daddy's girl' to 'Woo-Wooâs girl' , and Jungkook 's body took a screenshot. He shot Jin a look so vile, that the older stayed quiet for the rest of the day.
Jungkook really had tried to ignore it as best as possible. And he (thought) he was doing fairly well until that evening, when Jinhae had let it slip that:
ââMama kissed Woo-Woo today.â
He had just picked her up from her taekwondo class, and was about to pull out of the parking lot when Jinhae gave him the oh so lovely news.
Jungkook isn't a monster, he thinks he's let this little charade go on for much longer than was respectable. He wasn't going to let that slide.
He took a sharp left and sped down the highway. If he wasn't so caught up in his head, he would've heard Jinhae 's excited scream of:
âYAY! we're going to Uncle Yoonie's houseâ
You had just finished taking a long, warm bath. Your feet had been aching, and your back felt worse than it did before you had gotten your epidural. You needed a break; desperately.
The silence in the apartment was a welcome change.
You loved Jinhae with all your heart, but children were tiring to deal with alone. Children could be incredibly difficult, just for the fun of it. Especially spoilt, almost-five year olds who are used to their daddy obeying their every beck and call.
God forbid you didn't do â the voiceâ right, after reading âThe little Princeâ five times in a row! suddenly you were public enemy number one.
At least you could bask in the fact that Jinhae never threw (noisy) tantrums or threw things, but you felt that she had quadruple the attitude your hus- ex, accused you of having.
But tonight, the only attitude you have to worry about dealing with, was from Kim when you researched the earliest seasons of Keeping up with the Kardashians. What can you say? There's truly nothing funnier to you than upper class white women trying to be relatable. To this dat, their target audience was a mystery to you. You can't think of a single person whose biggest problem was how many times their name got googled in a day. You find it hard to take anything they ââgo through' seriously, because if we're being honest, people really are dying Kim!
You walk out of the bathroom wrapped in a soft white robe.
You reach for the the lilac, silk pajama set laid out on your bed. You had bought it from an online lingerie store, after a few glasses of wine a few weeks ago. You had been soâŠbored that you did the most exciting thing your numb brain could come up with in that moment.
You scoff at your past self. It was more cute than anything, not nearly as scandalous as some of the items you have hidden in the back of your closest. But you're not complaining.
The shorts are a bit shorter than you expected, but the silk is soft a high quality, and the lace that lines the top isn't itchy at all. You untwist your bun, and your braids cascade down your shoulders. You grab the bottle of black castor oil from your dresser, and run the nozzle along the parts. You sigh as you reach up to massage your scalp.
It's in little moments like these that you miss Jungkook the most. You hate to admit, but you used to be just as spoilt as Jinhae. Jungkook used to pamper you in every way possible. He would oil your scalp for you, order your hair products months in advance so that you'd never run out, and give you massages whenever your shoulders stood too rigid.
But you didn't have Jungkook anymore. You suck your teeth in annoyance at yourself for thinking about him so much.
You had just finished applying your vitamin c serum to your face, when you heard an incessant pounding on your door. You pause your music just as Kali Uchis asks if she can get a kiss. You're confused as to why someone is knocking on your door, when you have a very obvious doorbell attached to the frame. It's even stranger given what time it is.
You slip your feet into your cow print night slippers, as you step off the plush rug that lay on the floor in front of your vanity; and unto the floor.
The slippers slap against the floor as you walk towards the living room, and to whoever the hell wouldn't stop pounding on your door at 9pm on a Friday.
You throw the door open, ready to demand an explanation when you stop dead in your tracks.
To say you're surprised at who is standing at your door would be an understatement. You're not sure who you were expecting to see, but it certainly wasn't Jungkook. You're even more surprised to see him without Jinhae in tow.
You don't think that you've been alone with Jungkook for more than a few minutes at a time since the divorce; and even so, Jinhae has always been just a few feet away.
You feel worry start to settle in your stomach.
âWhere's JJ? Is she okay?â You ask, praying that what came out of his mouth next isn't bad news.
He chuckes. It's a sound that comes from deep inside his chest and reverberates across the empty hallway. It's an empty laugh, with no humour behind it. It makes a chill run up and down your spine.
âJinie is fine. She's with Yoongi; and she's the last of your worries right nowâ he says.
For once, Jungkook hasn't cracked a single smile the entire time he's been in your presence. It's obvious that he's mad, but you're not sure at what. You're not sure that you vare.
He isn't wearing a suit right now, and you can't recall the last time you'd seen him in anything but.
Jungkook worked extraordinarily long hours. You knew that working late and being burnt out would be a part of his life, especially the more his business grew, but it hadn't phased you at the time. There was nothing to be phased about.
At the time, Jungkook always put you first. And when Jinhae was born, he did the same thing. There was never a time where he had left you to fend for yourself with a newborn. He had been there through it all. From colic, to 3 am feedings to explosive diaper changes. He had never let you feel alone as a parent, or in your marriage.
Until around 8 months ago that is.
8 months ago, you feel like Jungkook had just stopped trying.
You know for a fact that Jungkook is terrified of being poor. It's why he always has another merger to make with one of his three companies, and dips his toes into every industry imaginable. His influence spanned over tech, real estate and even clothing. You think Jungkook's fear is understandable, you don't think it's fair. It was teetering on the edge of paranoia and greed.
He was trying so bad to make sure that he could take care of his family, that he wasnt.
He would get home from work after Jinhae went to bed, and left before she got ready for school. You had spent one too many nights falling asleep on the couch waiting for him to come home; only to wake up in your bed the next morning with a handwritten note on your bathroom mirror. They were sweet and all..but not much more.
As much as you appreciated the affirmations, his words meant nothing when there was no action behind them. Promises to come home home early the, family outings that never happened⊠You felt like you were a kid whose love was expected to be bought with money, and placated with empty commitments all over again. You could count on a bouquet of roses being delivered at your door every morning, more than you could count on your own husband being there.
You hated it.
You were starting to hate him.
It had gotten to a point where Jungkook had just given his secretary reign over his personal phone. You almost lost your mind when you had called him to ask what he wanted for dinner once, and she answered and told you that he was busy.
You could hear Jungkook 's laughter in the background, and the noise was not a professional setting. In fact, it sounded a lot more intimate and cozy. Like a restaurant or small bar. You felt sick to your stomach. You couldn't even get the chance to talk to Jungkook about it, because you barely saw him.
The look on his face when you served him the divorce papers in person at his office was borderline comical. His eyes had widened so far out of their sockets, that you thought the expression was causing him physical pain. You had said nothing. You simply handed him the papers and stayed long enough for him to read the heading. He clearly wanted to communicate through words on paper, so who were you to not oblige him with some?
As far as you know, Jungkook had never signed the papers, but he did follow all the other conditions you had outlined in your petition for separation.
He got an apartment for you and Jinhae in a building he didn't own, and was never late for any pickups or dropoffs, save for once when he had the flu.
A part of you had forgotten how young Jungkook was.
The suits he wore aged him plenty. Not in an old, haggard way, but in a way that made him appear more refined and serious than he actually was. His hair was always cut short and clicked away from his face. The collars of his shirts were always ironed to sharpness. Hell, he even wore sensible shoes.
If you hadn't seen every inch of Jungkook 's body before, and gone to college with himâŠYou would have pegged him for an uptight dogooder. You're sure it helped him get taken seriously in the corporate world, but overtime, it was as if Jungkook had forgotten his roots. As if he had morphed into a no nonsense, mormon-esque version of himself.
But the Jungkook standing before you now, is the Jungkook you know and lov- respected. Jungkook who proudly wore his colorful sleeve of tattoos, silver hoops through his lips and a stud in his nose. The Jungkook who liked to wear cargo pants and oversized shirts with stomper boots he could barely walk straight in.
You knew he had showered before he had come over, because his hair was still curly. He hadn't blow-dried it. His hair is much longer than it was when you had last saw him. It fell past his eyes now. He had started growing it out sgain because Jinhae told him she wanted to. At least, that's what he had told you.
What had really happened was that Jinhae had been asking a lot of questions about â when appa wasn't so oldâ one Saturday when they had gone out for ice cream.
âAppa, Mommy says your hair used to be w-eally long and pwetty. Can it come back? Mommy misses it.â
Jungkook hadn't cut his hair again since.
âAren't you going to invite me in?â He asks, one eyebrow raised at you.
You fold your arms across your chest.
âI'm not sure why I should. Besides, I don't think that this is a good time.â
âOh? Why's that? You lip expecting someone else, princess?â He takes in your attire from head to toe. His eyes linger for a little too long in your chest. His voice goes deeper as he struggles to finish his last question.
You don't answer, and it makes his eye twitch.
It's so ridiculous, yet so on brand of him to create a hypothetical scenario in his head and get all eaten up about it. He takes a deep breath.
He doesn't want to blow his fuse. Not here, Not yet.
â I need to talk to you. Inside. Please.â He asks, but it's not really a request.
You roll your eyes and turn your back to him as you walk away.
He pulls his bottom lip between his teeth as he watches your ass jiggle in the tiny shorts. He enters behind you, and the door closes softly with a click.
You walk over to the fridge and grab the unfinished can of Arizona Iced tea, and a glass from the cupboard. You were looking forward to having a glass of wine tonight, but if you were going to talk to Jungkook⊠you needed to be stone cold sober.
âYou want anything?â You ask, as you pour the content into the glass. â I think I have some b-â
âWhat I want is answers.â He says simply, leaning in the arched entryway.
You look at him with confusion written all over your face, before your pettiness takes over.
â Oh yeah? Well I wanted signed divorce papers, and yet here we are.â
You take a swig from your cup and let the sweetness of the drink coat your tongue.
You see Jungkook release a breath so deep that his entire body shakes.
â Who are you kissing in front of my kid?â
âExcuse me?â
âYou heard me,â he says with his arms crossed against his chest. âWho are you kissing in front of my kid?â
You're getting irritated now, because for one, what the hell is he talking about, and twoâŠWho was Jungkook to talk to you like that?
âJungkook. First of all, she's our kid. And secondly, I have no idea what the hell you're talking about. And even if I did⊠I wouldn't tell you jack shit. What or who I do is none of your business.â
Jungkook pushes himself off the threshold and starts walking towards you. His steps are slow and strong. His strides are long, and he has your back pressed into the counter in a matter of seconds.
You haven't been so close to Jungkook in so long, that everything about him overwhelms you in the best way possible. He smells so, so good. He smells like sandalwood and warm vanilla. He smells like home. His proximity to you is dizzying, and you can only pray that you'll keep it together.
He puts his arm on one side of you, leaving your left completely open. If you wanted to get away from him, you could. You stayed in place. It tells him everything he needs to know.
âHave you completely lost your fucking mind Y/N?â He questions. He reaches for your left hand and your heart sinks down to your ass. The diamond of your wedding ring glitters under the lights hanging from the the ceiling. The princess cut stone is practically mocking you.
âWhat do you think I gave you this ring for huh? Fun? Fucking decoration?â He jests, âYou know, for someone who never shuts her big mouth up about divorce, you sure keep this on don't you baby?â
You don't deny it. There's no point in doing so. You know that if you do, he'll lift the ring upwards. And you know that when he does, he'll find the unmistakable circle of a tan line wrapping around your ring finger.
He strokes his thumb against your cheek, and you almost preen at his touch. âWho's âWoo- Wooâ baby?â
âNone of your business.â You bite out.
âWhen are you gonna get it through your thick skull, that you are my business?!â
He runs his hand through his long hair, and you can see his face so much better. He's as beautiful as you remember and he's right in front of you.
You don't know who leaned in first, but you do know how soft lips feel as they press against yours. You fell the metal of his lip piercings touch the roof of your mouth as you suck his lip into you mouth.
He puts his hand under your ass, and your legs wrap around him on instinct. He lifts you and bring you over to the cool marble of the kitchen island.
His hand tugs on the hem of your blouse, and you pull away from him.
âKook, we can't.â You whine as you pull away.
Jungkook uses his thumb to wipe some of the spit from the corner of your mouth, and fixes your shirt so your boob is no longer at risk of spilling out.
âOkay baby, we'll stop and we can talk over dinner. Do you want me to make something or do you want to get takeout?â He asked as he pulls away from you.
He doesn't get very far, because you wrap your legs around him, and pull you back to him.
âWait- I didn't really mean that.â You whisper. Jungkook has a sneaking suspicion that you weren't just talking about telling him no.
âYou want me baby?â
You nod your head yes, too embarrassed to open your mouth lest your voice shake.
He cradles your face, and tilts it upwards so you have no choice but to look him in the eyes.
âAre you sure?â
âYes.â You answer affirmatively, reaching forwards to capture his lips again.
Youre not even thinking about the Pandora's box that you might be opening; and quite frankly? You don't care.
You're acutely aware that you wont be able to blame your decision on being drunk or tipsy. The only thing driving you was a burning need to have Jungkook deep inside you (where he belonged).
He litters kisses along your neck as he slides his hand down your shorts. Your hips buck forward on instinct, and you shudder as you feel his fingers ghost your clit.
âWhy are you naked under here?â He growls out. grip tightening around you waist. âI'm starting to think that you were expecting someone tonight.â he muses.
He spreads your folds with two fingers, reveling in the way your arousal leaks out of you and unto his fingers.
â Is that why you're so eager, baby? Hm? Is that why you're so wet? You decided that you were gonna get fucked one way or another? Is that it?â
He asks each question as he thrusts his fingers in and out of you. It shallow. He doesn't allow you the pleasure of going further than his first knuckle. You try to grind down on his digits, but he holds your hips down with his free hand.
âWhoever you've been giving my pussy away to, hasn't been doing a very good job... have they?â He groans as you clench around him.
âJungkook please. I want-â
âShh baby, I know. I'll give it to you I promise. Just give me one firstâ he begs as he speeds up his circles on your clit.
He sinks his teeth into the sensitive spot on your neck, and you cum almost instantly. Your body shakes and you wrap your arms around his neck as your pussy convulses around his fingers.
You barely have time to recover before he's pulling your shorts down, and cleaning up the mess you made. He catches the slick of you orgasm on your tongue just as it starts running down your leg.
He goes at your pussy like a man starved. You cry out the moment his tongue enters you. You ride his tongue with vigor, gripping unto the counter for stability.
Jungkook pulls away from you for moment. His mouth is shiny from your juices, and his eyes are already so blown out that you want to fuck him even more.
He guides your hand to his hair, and encourages you to grab the tendrils.
âUse me, babyâ he instructs.
His voice is so gravelly and raw, that you can do nothing but oblige him.
You grip the roots of his hair and push his head back between your legs. You both moan when he starts lapping at you again. You hold his head in place, guiding him where you want him; where you need him.
The second time you cum, your legs closed so tight around his head that Jungkook thought he had died and went straight to heaven.
You pull him away from your core by his hair, and bring him up to your face. You clean his face with your own tongue, and lean in to kiss him so you both taste like you. Your chests are still heaving when Jungkook carries you to your room.
He lays you gently on the bed, and takes his shirt off at the same time you toss your blouse over your head. He's about to undo the strings of his sweatpants when he stops cold in his tracks..
â Shit, babyâŠI don't have any condoms. I didn't plan on this-â
â It's okay,â You reassure him â I'm clean. Are you?â
Jungkook looks a little scandalized. âOf course I'm clean, I haven't - I havent been with anyone except you since before we started dating.â His honesty shines so brightly in his eyes that you almost want to pull him into a hug.
You release a shaky, nervous breath you didn't know you had been holding.
â Good. I want to feel you, all of you.â
The bed sinks as Jungkook climbs over you, one leg on each side of your body.
You've missed this view. Him on top of you, chain swining in your face, and big doe eyes filled with lust for you and only you.
He takes a hairtye from around his wrists, and pulls his hair into a low manbun. His cock is already painfully hard, red and leaking from the tip.
You spread your legs as Jungkook nestkes in-between them. He lifts one of your legs over his shoulder, and presses a soft kiss to your calf.
He rubs himself between your folds, mesmerized by how quickly your wetness coats him.
He lines himself up with your entrance, and pauses.
âAre you sure you're ready baby? I don't want to hurt you.â
â Is that it? Or are you scared that you don't hold a candle to âWoo-Wooâ myâ you jest. Jungkook doesn't find it very funny.
He pushes himself into you, but as wet as you are, you're still so, so tight. Your pussy is so warmâŠhot even, that Jungkook almost cums the moment yes fully sheathed in you.
You're just as tight as he remembers, tighter even.
You both moan when he delivers his first thrust. You haven't had dick in so long, that you'd forgot what it felt like. How it felt like to have your walls stretched and your g spot caressed, how delicious and heavy the drag was inside you. How good Jungkook was at this. You feel so good that Jungkook practically forgets that he's supposed to be mad at you.
âYou know you belong to me right?â Jungkook demands as he thrusts into you, slow and forceful. You don't answer and turn your face away from him He wraps his hand around your throat as speed up.
âFucking look at me when I'm talking to you!â
His thrusts become faster, punishing. He practically ploughs you into the mattress as whatever restraint he had before vanishes into thin air. You scream the more intense the pleasure gets.
â I should fuck another baby into you, you know that? Hm? Should swell your tummy up with another one of my kids, so you have nine months to think about why the fuck you would do something as stupid as try to leave me.â
He finds your gspot as effortlessly as he usually does, and he hits it over and over and over again.
âJungkook PLEASEâ you cry. You reach your hand out to push against the hardness of his abdomen. He takes your hand and kisses it. You're so close. So fucking close, and Jungkook can tell.
âYou want to cum, don't you baby?â
You nod frantically. Your pussy is practically raw from overstimulation, and you feel so much pressure building inside you that you don't know whether you want to run away from the pleasure or dive headfirst into it.
âYes! Yes! Yes! I need to please.â
âThen tell me. Fucking tell me you're mineâ
âFuck, I'm yours, Jungkook! Please!â you cry.
â How many people have you fucked since you left? Answer me!â He commands you, adding a finger to your clit to the mix.
âNobody, no one, Jungkook Please!â
â I know baby, I just needed you to admit it.â
He leans down and places a soft kiss to your temple. He gives you two more delicious thrusts that make your toes curl and your eyes roll back. Your lurches forward as your orgasm rips through you. Your walls convulse around him, squeezing him so tight that Jungkook feels a bit dizzy.
âBaby,â he whines âunwrap your legs so I can pull out.â He gasps when your legs only wrap tighter around him. âBaby, I have to-â
âN-no,â you protest â I want it inside Jungkook please.â
He cums so forcefully that his orgasm leaves him winded and his arms almost give out. He spils his seed into you, and you feel the warmth of it coat your walls.
He pulls out of you as he begins to soften, and collapse beside you as he tries to catch his breath. You both turn to look at each other, and Jungkook offers you a soft smile.
He notices the sweat starting to bead on your forehead, and turns his head to switch your fan on.
That's when you see it. Your eyes bug out of their sockets.
âJungkook, what the hell is that on your neck?â
â What are you talking about?â
âRight there,â you turn his head to the right to get a better look. Your heart starts thumming uncontrollably in your chest. Because there it was, your name in bold black letters for everyone to see.
âJungkookâŠWhen did you get that?â
âHmâŠabout five months ago?â he chuckles. He had the decency to look sheepish.
âJungkook!â You say as you slap his chest â We weren't even together!â
â Correction, we are together, we just have separate living arrangements.â
You look at him incredulously.
âYou're crazy, you know that?â
âAbout you? Yeah..Real crazy babyâ he flirts âHey, you never told me woo this âWoo-Wooâ guy is anyways .â
You roll you eyes at him as you climb of the bed.
âI can't tell you who he's not. He's not the one whose cum is dripping out of me right now. Are you gonna join me on the shower or what?â
Fin.

âwhen are you gonna get a bigger bed? you have superstar money now; i think you can afford to upgrade to at least a doubleâŠâ
jungkookâs lips curved into a soft smile at your teasing, though his eyes remained closed. you werenât wrong â he could upgrade. hell, he could buy ten california kings without even batting an eyelid. heâs nineteen now, probably overdue for something a little more grown-up than a single bed.
âŠbut during his rookie days, he fought so hard for this single bed. it wasnât just a bed. it was victory.
out of two crappy choices in the room he shared with taehyung and jimin, it was the better option: a tiny single bed where his feet hung slightly off the edge or half of a squeaky, ratty bunk. it had taken him three hours of intense negotiations, whining, and almost getting his ass beat by both his hyungs to claim it as his. giving it up now just because he had money felt wrong. it was the sentiment... right?
right. and maybe â juuuust maybe â it had something to do with how this bed kept you so close to him when you wanted to relax. what if he upgraded, and suddenly there was too much space? what if you didnât cuddle as close anymore?
âi will soon, havenât had the time lately,â he finally responded, his voice soft and unhurried.
âoo, do you wanna go furniture shopping? we can sit on all the fancy display chairs and beds like we always do, but this time youâll actually be buying somethingââ
âlater,â he cut you off with a small smile, his eyes still closed but shifting a little closer until he could feel your breath ghosting over his face. âweâll go later.â
âkay,â you murmured, your eyelids growing heavier as you watched his peaceful features. âyou gonna nap?â
âwant to,â he nodded gently. âdâyou?â
you reached out to brush a piece of fringe from his eyes, the movement making it fall in soft waves. âsure,â you murmured, your fingers lingering for just a moment before settling back under your cheek. as you snuggled into his pillow, his familiar scent enveloped you, a warm, comforting embrace that felt like home.
but just as your body started to relax, you sat up abruptly, reaching for your phone. jungkookâs eyes slowly cracked open, heavy with sleep as he watched you.
âwhatcha doing?â he asked softly, his voice tinged with a gentle rasp.
âsetting an alarm,â you replied, rubbing the back of his hand as it rested between you. âhave dance practice at 12, nari-unnie will kill me if iâm late.â
âssâok, iâll wake you up.â
you glanced down at him, your lips twitching into a small, knowing smile. you both knew heâd do no such thing.
his soft, fluffy hair framed his face, his pouty lips slightly parted, just enough to reveal a hint of his bunny teeth. his big, sleepy eyes gazed up at you with a quiet patience, boba-like and heavy with drowsiness. adorable.
wordlessly, you finished setting the alarm, placing your phone on his bedside table before slipping back under the blanket. this time, you moved closer, and without hesitation, his hand lifted, draping naturally over your waist as you shuffled nearer, closing the small gap between you.
the room fell into a peaceful silence, your breathing syncing as you both basked in the quiet comfort of each other.
until his soft voice broke the stillness.
âyou smell so good.â
âyeah?â you murmured, a faint smile tugging at your lips.
âyeah,â he replied, a little dazed.
âitâs the perfume you bought me,â you reminded him, the smile audible in your tone.
âi know,â he whispered, the distance between you shrinking as his hand slid further around your waist, his fingers curling gently over your side.
âwas it expensive?â you teased lightly.
âmhm.â even with his eyes closed, he could sense the way your head turned into the pillow, your neck slightly bared. he leaned forward, just a little, until there was no space left between you.
you exhaled softly as his nose brushed against the crook of your neck, and your hand shifted to rest gently on his chest.
âreally expensiveâŠâ he hummed into your skin, his breath warm against your pulse. âspent all my money on it. iâm broke now.â
