(Runs to avoid horse dung) We’ve been having premarital affair for a very long time and I am going to take him home immediately to see Mom since we will obviously have our wedding as soon as possible.

god xiao jiming is such a character. he's one of the four great generals, he's gentle and calm, he commands a heavy armored cavalry that he changed to be flexible and faster, he's fierce in battle and his name carries so much weight that even when he's injured, nobody touches libei. he's shorter than his younger brother, he takes after his mother, he cried at his wedding because he loves his wife so much, he doesn't hesitate to intimidate the emperor when xiao chiye is in danger, he would've led his troops to qudu for xiao chiye even while being grievously injured if his father hadn't overruled him. he sees himself as a sanctuary for his family. i'm so obsessed with him, if he doesn't end up happy i will be on the news.

The gifts of military service...

As hard as it was to see 12/12 arrive and to watch Jimin and Jungkook entering the base, 4 weeks later I feel much more peace about it.

Them being sequestered away from public view, away from all the sasaengs and invasive photographers, and away from social media is a gift. I personally believe that this break from public view will help them in ways that nothing else could.

All the pressures that lived on their shoulders as part of BTS are a bit less stressing, for 18 months. They can breathe and be simply human beings doing their civic duty. Yeah, all the people who surround them in the military know who they are, but the playing field is level, as they stand shoulder to shoulder with their fellows in training. A soldier is a soldier. Basic training is hard, yet it comes without the ongoing pressure 24/7 that they live with out in the regular world.

The other gift is obviously that Jimin and Jungkook are side by side, every day. They get to share the experiences and support each other through. That is huge. It will add depth to their already deep bond. It will build trust that already was that of a soul mate/partner/beloved. This experience can take them next level in their connection.

I'm sure they will have their moments where they aren't happy or perhaps they are disagreeing. That is what it is to be human. Any healthy friendship or partnership contains moments of discord. Part of a healthy relationship is the ability to be able to have the hard conversations, to talk through the disagreements, and to sort out differences. That leads to a stronger bond, overall.

On the other side of this re-set (time away from public view) we will get a stronger and more confident Park Jimin and Jeon Jungkook. And, we will more than likely see a much stronger bond between them.

As much as I miss them I must say that I am actually glad that they have this time away. I am thrilled that they are sharing the experience. I am really really happy that they are free from the insanity that is happening online and in the fandom.

Most of all, I am simply grateful that they are safe, and that they are together. 💜

whit - cult leader. presumed prophet and immortal being.

janey - one of whit's wives. had three children but he doesn't pay much attention to her anymore. known now to most of the commune as a raving lunatic but was apparently not always like this.

jime: whit and janey's oldest. dependable, hard-working, level-headed. has a wife and two children.

hinnry: whit and janey's second child. he's hinnry

merthy: whit and janey's youngest child. scatterbrained and distractible. wants to be a teacher in the chapel. pregnant with her first child.

enoch: whit's brother and second in command. jealous, mean, violent.

sil: a trusted elder. one of the few remaining blue skrinniwks back from the generation in the 60s when a bunch of them started turning blue and the family sought out new recruits for the first time in decades. though he cannot speak very well, the blue elders are well-respected.
