1- im from brazil and there is a brazilian character that i think that looks like jimmy in the early 70s (his name is agostinho carrara)

@midnightinwales ha, you're not wrong, the In the Light rough version does indeed appeal to my Bonhamphilia ™, how could it not with those absolutely almighty crashes of thunder and lightning especially near the end BUT I also like JPJ's slightly creepy keys, it changes the whole mood of the song away from the vibe of the final version. Totally agree with you tho, it's not in a polished album-worthy state and they obviously made a good choice with the direction it ultimately went in.

I can definitely see Jimmy having the first, middle and last say-so in everything. Actually, that's a topic that I've often wondered about: he formed the band, was crucial in the early contract negotiations, played a massive role in producing LZ, he was the "leader" in many ways. But I'm also curious as to how much freedom the others had on things like takes and whether they were all on board with his having the more 'standout' role, especially later on when he had his substance issues going on. Cos I obsessively watch anything I can get my hands on of LZ, there are some moments in bootleg concerts in the late 70's when you can actually hear Bonzo throwing in a massive, almost angry sounding fill when one of Jimmy's guitar solos got a bit meandering. It's fascinating to hear their unspoken communication, if you will. I know the LZ fandom loves its Jimbert love story, but professionally, it's pretty unusual for a band to have two front men, was Robert always happy to share the spotlight, it makes you wonder...🎵 speaking of which, have you listened to that 30 minute video of them evolution of STH? fascinating to hear it being created.

Just speculating, but do you think he's got any audio/video gems in his attic that'll eventually get out and share with the fans? I get that 'remastering' has its place with all the amazing audio tech available, but something 'new' would be welcome too.

Jimmy Page’s Fabulous Sofas

I’ve previously posted about his fabulous floral shirts, but JP also likes floral grandma sofas. I thought these must have been in the boathouse when he bought it but see leds’ post -  maybe he hand-picked them My grandmother, rest her soul, would have loved these sofas.

Shameless self-promotion but my fictional Jimmy and Robert disport themselves on all this furniture in my Pangbourne porn series Days of Our Youth, if you're into that sort of thing. 

I love Jimmy’s dreamy just-been-tumbled look and the sofa is old-fashioned but tasteful. Not sure this is Pangbourne.

My grandma would have loved this frilly number. Only a rock star could sit on this sofa and still look hot. It’s a nice juxtaposition with the leather trousers and oxblood pumps.

The porch swing aka the sex swing to Jimbert fans, covered with what looks like a lacey tablecloth. Not technical floral, but still a strong grandma vibe if not for the sex bomb in plaid trousers. 

The tablecloth and pillows look really shiny and uncomfortable but I sure wouldn’t mind sitting there for a spell with this dreamboat.

It’s not a sofa but the padded bench seats in the vintage launch looks cozy enough for two. I’m surprised there isn’t more Jimbert boat slash out there (there is one excellent story with some hot boat action but I can’t seem to find it). 

The Starship sofa gets included because Jimmy looks so adorable sleeping on it. I bet this sofa has seen a lot of action. 

This one in the Tower House looks like vintage wicker. Jimmy still collects antiques and fine art but his taste in sofas has evolved since the Pangbourne Days.
