This mfs face card is literally platinum gold. It never declines. In fact he gets a discount. I don’t care if that doesn’t make sense he is just too attractive to put into words.

January 9, 1970 will be immortalized forever as the day the world found out just how many hoes it takes to fill the Albert Hall. The answer is four, apparently.

the way robert plant, jimmy page, and jeff buckley praise each other is so beautiful, wish we could’ve been blessed with a collaboration :(
-here are a few jimmy quotes about jeff buckley that I love:
“[Jeff Buckley] was just absolutely staggering. He just touched every emotion in you. He was really superb and in a total class of his own as you know because you hear so many singers and you go, Well, they got that from Jeff Buckley'. He was so iconic, I thought he was a master.”
“"We actually made a point of going to see him play, it was absolutely scary. One of the things that was a little frightening was that I was convinced he probably did things in tunings, and he didn't. He was doing things in standard tuning and I thought, 'Oh dear, he really is clever isn't he."
“I saw Jeff Buckley perform in Melbourne. Jeff Buckley was something of an ethereal spirit: a musical magician whose album 'Grace' showcased a unique talent. His name was on the lips of all musos from the release of that album and for the next two years. I had heard him sing a couple of songs at a distance on the Other Stage at Glastonbury, where Page and Plant were headlining: you could feel him, it was extraordinary. I had listened intently to 'Grace' whilst I was on tour and made a point to see him at the Palais Theatre in Melbourne on this day in 1996." -jimmys instagram 2/29/2020
jimmy also recalls that Grace is his favorite album of the 90s.
+ a robert quote:
"Jeff Buckley was playing and we went to see him. It was mind altering, his voice, spectacular singing. So much conviction…”
(definitely encourage everyone to watch this short little snippet of robert talking about jeff, so bittersweet: https://youtu.be/n0kUK4IoWqQ)
+ jeff cited zeppelin as a major inspiration on his life and music many times, heres just one of my fav quotes from him:
“The cool thing about all those Zeppelin songs is that, because of the way Plant sings, if you put them into a different musical setting, they would sound like R&B songs. With Led Zeppelin, everything was out of tune, and Plant sang wrong notes. But he was the one that showed me that there aren't any wrong notes.”
jeff’s cover of night flight is incredible as well:
