Thank you 💖 Fandoms must change and adapt if they want to survive (and if the old-school fans choose to believe nobody lusted after these guys back in the day, and the only thing 'real' fans cared about was soundboard vs. audience recordings, they're in for a real shock).

because some people like to try and say otherwise here’s your reminder:

~ you can be a fan of the music and the rockstars themselves !!!

~ you can be a fan of the music and openly express how attractive the rockstars are!!!

~ you can be a fan of the music and want to sleep with the rockstars!!!

it doesn’t make you a “fake fan” and it doesn’t make your passion and appreciation for the music itself any less valid. if anything it makes you that little bit cooler because you get to have this extra love that not every other fan does (sexual attraction)!

some and definitely not all, but many, older led zep fans POLICE the fandom but yet are the same people going around and saying “why doesn’t the younger generation appreciate real music any more” 😡😡 blah blah blah

one of the few beautiful things about this digital age we’re currently living in is that it makes music more accessible and reachable! and then to make it even better, there’s access to places like tumblr, tiktok, online forums etc where many people can connect and share there adoration for the band with others who feel the same!

don’t be a dick and scare younger people away just because they’re young and acting the same way as young people have been for decades.

wether you want to admit it or not, they are the future and with a band that so many of us hold so much love for, let’s keep its fire alight rather than trying to snuff it out!

and after watching “becoming led zeppelin.”

all i’m going to say is, god i love this band so much.

Saw Becoming Led Zeppelin last night...

... Trying to gather my thoughts and deciding whether I should review from a seasoned fan perspective or a newcomer's without giving away any spoilers for anyone who hasn't seen it.

Anyway, in sum:

If you're a newcomer to the band, it's great.

If you've been around longer, it's worth seeing.

My inner amateur film critic is currently battling with my urge to squee. Ergo: Becoming Led Zeppelin lacks a certain spark, but there are some great close-ups. 😉

I adored her. A superb performer, style icon, and a lot tougher than she looked.

I thought she'd be around forever. What a life she led!

Rest well, and thank you, Marianne 💕💕

Incredibly saddened to hear about the passing of Marianne Faithfull (1946-2025) who passed away January 2025 at the age of 78. She was and will forever be a big inspiration to me. She was an outstanding woman who fought hard until the end, I will miss her so much.

Thank you for everything, Marianne.
