I don't know how to properly express the things I have witnessed these past few days, but definitely what I witnessed a few hours ago. Let's just say this was the most intense and emotional experience of my life.

Ok. JJ has her own playlist that she makes Jensen play on the way to school. It has Taylor Swift, Harry Styles (which led to some woooooooo and a Calm Down!! From Jensen) and some song about a sunroof. (x)

Jensen: his 6yo daughter Arrow has taken to the piano. She hears a song & goes & picks it out by ear! For now they’re just letting her have fun with it. Thought about having her take lessons but they don’t want it to become un-fun for her when she’s just 6 (x)

Q about JA now seeing more of the production process. JA: turns out getting a show on the air is a monumental feat. So many pitches, the odds are so stacked against it. Safest thing a studio exec can say is no.  (x)  JA: “It is a hard business to be in. It is a business of rejection.” Been in the development process now for half a dozen different shows, & Winchesters is the only one that launched. (cryptic description of one other that had “big players”, but “timing wasn’t right”) (x)  (very thoughtful response on this whole issue btw - I failed to capture it all - clearly he’s been thinking about it a lot, about how to launch new shows) (x)

JA can’t find his phone  He wants to look something up to answer a fan q  (x)

Q about fight scenes: did you have any experience w fighting technique? JA: No, never trained in any of the fighting disciplines. But has done a lot of sports, thinks of himself as “fairly athletic”, so what he does is ask an expert what they’d do, then try to mimic them  (x)

opening fighting scene in Atomic Monsters ep (15x04) is favorite fighting scene of Jensen, and it wasn't even scripted! He just wanted to do something fun, so they added it into the ep  (x)

Jensen's stunt double, who he worked with since Dark Angel, went on to become Jason Momoa's stunt double when he [the stunt double] "got too famous"  (x)

The stunt coordinator on #TheBoys was so impressed by Jensen's great input that he started calling him "fight coordinator"  (x)

JA on stunts/fights: On The Boys, there are way bigger fights than SPN. On the Boys he rehearsed 2 wks for 1 fight scene (on SPN set it was like 20 min). Got to come up w different moves, even had some creative input. Stunt guy used so many of JA’s (x)  suggestions that he started calling JA the “fight coordinator!” Then when he landed the Big Sky role, The Boys’ stunt coordinator guy called up Big Sky’s and said “you’re getting one of my best fight coordinators”. & Big Sky then made him a hat that says “Fight Coordinator” (x)

If you find yourself surprised by which conventions they return to and which ones they don't, just remember that their experiences of conventions as guests are very different than our experiences as attendees

Ooooh. Do you mean their experience of US, the audience? Or do you mean their experience of the city?

Neither: their experience of how the convention is run. Often we have similar experiences: if the con is disorganized, both the attendees and the talent will struggle with long lines, events being late, unhappy attendees, etc. If the con is well organized, it tends to give a good experience to the talent and the fans.

Based on what I saw on Twitter, I expected them to re-up for one overseas convention, but not for another. Based on what I have heard bts, they actually had a more enjoyable experience at a con more fans seemed to dislike (maybe it was just my timeline).

Kind of like how every year people complain about jibcon and there are rumors of this jibcon will be the last because J2M supposedly hate that convention, but they keep returning.

It sucks because I really would have liked to experience a jibcon of old. That was one of the things I was looking forward to being able to do now that I'm all grown up and earning money. However, if I tried to explain this to me of 7 years ago I would also have to explain the fact that destiel is canon and he would not be thinking about jibcon anymore after that

It's already been a month since Jib11 and I still can't believe this actually happened.

Such a surreal but absolutely amazing experience!

The boys were so sweet even tho they were obviously very tired.

Jensen is even more beautiful in real life and very classy yet so funny and charismatic. And when I told him my sister loved him as Red Hood's voice actor he thanked me and you could see how unexpected but pleasing it was to hear for him!

Misha was so cute but seemed almost shy at times. When I told him I'm going to get a Castiel tattoo he actually added the heart to his signature and thanked me with a really big smile and wink!

And it was actually Jared who surprised me the most. When I came up for my photo he immediately opened up his arms and pulled me in tight and afterwards rubbed my back and made sure I was okay bc I was shaking so badly and called me sweetie. I wasn't very happy with my expression on the photo but when I went to get it signed he took a few seconds to look at it and then he told me I had a nice smile. He obviously didn't know that I was initially absolutely devastated about it and that small comment absolutely turned around my view and now I really love the photo. I also showed him my "Always keep fighting" tattoo and he sincerely thanked me for it. He was so sweet and warm and keep throwing kisses and winks around called me sweetie at least 3-4 times during the autograph!

I can only recommend attending Jibcon to every supernatural fan. Obviously it's not perfect but overall I don't regret a single moment! I met the boys, had an absolute blast with my friend I made because of supernatural and met some amazing fellow fans. Some of which didn't hesitate to give a newbie like myself advice left and right, which I really appreciate!

How'd it go!!!!

It was amazing!!!!!!!! Alex was so lovely and funny to meet and such a sweetheart. I was also at Mark Sheppard’s panel and he is fucking hilarious, I almost got a headache from laughing so hard. He should seriously consider standup.

I sat through Rob and DJ’s panels as well before my meet and greet with Alex, they are both just so absolutely amazing and wonderful. And the meet & greet!!!! So much fun!!!! We were all really nervous, even Alex, so the conversations kept bouncing around but it was very much enjoyable! He started it with a whole bit about being a corporate bringing us in to fire us and give us a compensatory pizza party (also a funny bonus, we got on the topic of worst jobs and one of the people seated said “corporate hell,” and Alex said “but isn’t that all corporate?” love it so much).

I ended up missing the photo ops for lunch of all things lmfaooo, but we did a group photo with the meet and greet and airdropped the photos from other phones. If I ever get the chance to meet him again at another con I’m completely committed to getting a selfie with the stupidest angle possible tho.

I wish I could relay what he thought of the gifts and the written messages note but I could only be there for the day, so it’s possible we’ll never know unless he brings it up today or at another con. But I think he seemed to like it! He seemed most interested in the books I gave him, The Westing Game and an essay collection about identity psychology called Who Am I.

I also gave him ice wine teabags because that’s one of my most favorite teas ever and it’s actually ironically a Canadian brand! And he told me that ice wine is like a Canadian dessert drink but he didn’t know about the tea. And at his panel I grew enough balls to take the mic and actually ask him something! I can’t remember the full wording just from sheer excitement and exhaustion but it was something to the effect of, “Firstly I wanna say I really appreciate how much passion you have about what you do, and it really means a lot to me as an artist that you still care, so from one artist to another thank you for caring about your work, and what are some other things that inspire you to keep caring.” Sadly I don’t remember what he’d answered, but I’m sure once the panel goes up on YT I’ll find it again and be able to absorb it in the quiet peace of my cave

(It’s honestly a little embarrassing how much of this I actually don’t fully remember, but supposedly that’s a natural experience for people going to such exciting events like concerts or cons. Too much excitement and joy it all just blots out in your brain or something).

I truly enjoyed every bit of it, but for me the absolute highlight of the day was just being given his bracelet in exchange for what I’d given him. Not even kidding, I sobbed over it in my brother’s car almost six hours later after we’d left. And towards the end of the M&G (which was sort of rushed to make time for Osric’s panel but that’s ok) I asked if I could hug him and let me tell you. Hugging is one of my favorite forms of love language ever, and I’ve been told that I give very good ones, and I’ve wanted to give him a hug (I’ve wanted everything in this day practically) for nearly six years, so it was just amazing.

I never once doubted anyone who’s said he’s a sweetheart, but really being there and seeing him and talking to him and seeing that in the flesh. . It’s something else. I also had some very lovely and interesting conversations with some stand runners, like this one guy who has a comic series about the first werewolf and we got into a convo about Superman and BTAS vs STAS and actually met the first black writer/editor/artist/everything for Superman in DC, Christopher Priest, and a wonderful old lady and her (presumably) daughter who sold exclusive-yet-expensive figurines and made their own sterling silver SPN jewelry for JIBCONs. Artists meeting artists. Loved every minute of it!!!

I also talked to this sweet attendee lady who’s been to eight conventions beforehand and got some wonderful con advice from her. And one woman in the meet and greet circle who makes kandi bracelets and gifted me one of the many SPN themed ones she’d made! Right after the M&G finished I met my brother on the balcony and he’d been talking to another attendee from Canada who told me about her meeting alex yesterday and how sweet he was with her! She hugged us both and wished us a safe travel and yeah.

Overall it was such a wonderful experience and I can really see why it’s considered its own family and such a staple of the fandom. If I could ever go to any more in my life or even have my own stand set up someday I would honestly be set for life!! I hope you and anyone else who’s never gotten to go to one before has the same chance, because it really is so life changing and amazing. I talked to maybe like, 12—20 people of the entire attending population but I still felt so…connected with everybody there.

I just have to get this off my chest because it's been bothering me ever since I saw a particular post about Danneel (I'll mention below) earlier and all of the ridiculousness I've seen this weekend about J2M as well:

Holy fucking shit. I knew with Jibcon being this weekend that there would be so much drama happening (like always) but I can't believe some of the takes I've seen from what these guys have said. This, to me, is an all-new low for this fandom.

First of all, while I am not a Jared fan (I don't hate the guy, I'm just indifferent to him if that makes sense) and while I have repeatedly claimed that I despise 15x20 and Dean's death, when I read his answer to that finale question (I haven't watched the panel yet but I plan to), I did not automatically take it as him saying that Dean deserved to die or that he deserved to live a half life or any of it. Do I agree with his opinion (at first mention I mean)? No, but it's just that, his opinion. Since the whole DenCon 2021 disaster, I've actually done a deep dive with this guy and I have come to appreciate his opinions on things related to the show and industry, even if I may not necessarily agree with him all of the time. I don't think he's an evil guy or sitting around hatching evil schemes to screw over Jensen, Misha, Dean, Cas, or their fans or anything like it. The guy's human and he has opinions, just like every other human being on the planet. Can we please try to come from that perspective when we hear something he said rather than running around screaming "FOUL!" before the guy is even finished speaking? I'm guilty of making that mistake in the past but now I try to come from a more objective and compassionate perspective when I hear something, and then look into it for myself. And each time I find that his words/intention consistently gets misconstrued and painted in a light that was never there in the first place. Which brings me to my second point:

When it comes to Danneel, I am not per se a fan of hers either, I am also rather indifferent to her as I am to Jared or Misha. I don't hate her and even though I don't condone any of what could be characterized as "bad behavior" from the past (i.e. her old tweets and responses to people), like Jared for example, she is also another human being and like any other human being, people do change and they do grow as they get older/have more experiences. She may still behave in a similar manner (though we haven't seen this publicly that I am aware of) or she may not (when you have kids, things tend to change your perspective usually), either way it doesn't matter when it comes to what I'm about to mention. Criticize the woman or don't criticize her, love her or hate her, whatever your reasons, can we PLEASE stop with the bullshit? And what I mean by the bullshit is this:

Jensen mentioned that he was tired in his solo panel today because Danneel wanted to stay up the night before because she hadn't been to Rome in 11 years. All of a sudden, antis (and one severely worrying individual in particular who apparently has a hard time distinguishing fiction from reality when it comes to this couple aka one hgcowboy - you know the one): DANNEEL IS ABUSING HIM BY DEPRIVING HIM OF SLEEP!!!! HOW DARE SHE!!!

Like, are you fucking kidding me? I may be indifferent to the woman or give two figs about her really but how do you get from Jensen being tired from a late night out with his wife to her ABUSING him? And this is characterized as intentional sleep deprivation? Obviously this person (hgcowboy) has never been psychologically abused like this (which is obviously a good thing) nor has she ever spoken to someone who has been through such an ordeal (I am someone who has been through that for example); that's more than evident from this commentary she posted.

1) Danneel wanting to stay out late because this is the one time she's been to Rome in 11 years (and obviously the first time with their kids) is NOT abuse. Have you ever had kids? Have you been married with said kids? There is nothing wrong with Mommy and Daddy having a night out, especially in a place that Mommy doesn't always get to visit (which is why I'm willing to bet that Jensen agreed to stay up despite his early schedule the next day). It doesn't matter that Jensen had a con the next day. The circumstances being what they are change Jensen's usual schedule. If he wasn't married and dating someone instead or took his mom there and she wanted to enjoy a night out or Daniela did as Jensen first joked, is that abuse, too? Simple answer: no. Can it be inconsiderate if (and that's a big IF) that person's intentions were purely self-involved? Sure. But NOT abuse.

2) Jensen is a GROWN ASS MAN. He can make his own decisions. For example, he said yesterday that he likes to go on the Tower of Terror ride (or whatever they call it these days) like JJ, but Danneel doesn't like the ride. He still makes the decision to go on that ride no matter that she doesn't like it. HE MAKES HIS OWN CHOICES. He could have told Danneel no about staying up but he didn't. He chose to go anyway, knowing he had an early morning. That's on him, not her, no matter the reasoning behind his making the decision. He is responsible for himself. Stop pulling shit out of thin air to justify your hatred and jealousy, seriously.

3) As an abuse survivor, I am flat out asking that hgcowboy: can you please stop fucking throwing the word ABUSE around because you're insanely jealous of the woman who Jensen took with him to Rome and it's not you? Like seriously "Sleep deprivation IS abuse" - perhaps learn what actual abuse is and stop throwing that fucking word around (especially in this fucking context) for your own reasons and so you can keep your ongoing fantasy that Jensen is going to leave his wife for you for whenever the next time you meet him is (if you actually met him as you claimed). This is not the first time you've done this when it comes to the topic of Jensen and Danneel, and it needs to STOP. Every time you do it to justify your hatred and jealousy of a woman that the guy you're obsessed with is married to, you do harm to actual abuse survivors such as myself. Abuse is a serious subject and that word should not be thrown around lightly. Idgaf if you hate Danneel, you want to keep that toxicity going (as all hatred is), that's your business, but stop fucking using that word and STOP acting/saying it like you are an expert on the matter, like you do on everything else you talk about like acting, the industry, branding, Jensen's mental state, Danneel's mental state, their kids' mental states (remember that disgusting post you made about their youngest daughter because you couldn't distinguish a joking story from actual reality? saying she was a sociopath in the making? because I sure do), and psychology (spoiler alert on that one: you're not). Because from that statement alone, you clearly don't know what the fuck you're talking about. And it is absolutely disrespectful and damaging to the abuse survivor community when you say that shit and put it out into the universe. You really should be ashamed of yourself.

And those who have actually experienced abuse in any form know exactly how serious that word is, the kind of impact labeling a situation or event as such actually has, and would never use it so disrespectfully and so casually. Like I said, you ought to be ashamed.

Now for those who say Jensen was name dropping when talking about being a producer, did y'all actually watch the panel where he talks about it? He was stating how hard it was to actually get a project onto the air, no matter what the circumstances, i.e. having names attached that were highly successful. Where is the name dropping? Where is this him being so arrogant that he made himself sound like Thee Producer? Have y'all not learned by now to watch the panels for yourselves and not 100% trust the tweets that come out of these rooms? Meaning that their interpretation or translation and context may not always come across in their tweets? How many times does this need to happen in order for you to finally get it? And you guys say you're the critically thinking ones? Yeah, not so much.

Have your opinions, express them freely on your blogs or chosen social media, love/like or hate/dislike who/what you want, but for Christ's sake, can we please inject some rationale into this fandom once and for all? Not everything these guys say is meant to be taken literally or to be a sign of them being in a hostage situation with their wives that only you can help them escape from (looking at you blogger I mentioned above; just admit you're obsessed with Jensen and that's why you hate Danneel so much and go). Perhaps not all is right in the Jenneel world, perhaps there really is a separation on the horizon, perhaps there isn't, either way, it doesn't matter. It doesn't give you the right to throw that word around so casually. And you obviously haven't learned since your last claim of "abuse" that people were doing to Jared when a fan told him not to cry or she would start crying (not meant in a negative or demeaning way to him at all) in a panel a year or so ago. It's clear that you do not understand what that word means. If you truly care about the abuse survivor community, you'll stop using it for your own justifications, fantasies, and anti blog discourse.

And while we're at it, let's all just admit that half of the shit that's said about these guys (and their wives) would never be said to their faces. I seriously doubt you would say it to anyone's face if you had to look them in the eye and say it. You don't have to like these guys or these women, you're free to have your opinions and express them, but can we seriously stop with the exaggerated speculation and outlandish analysis of each word that comes out of these guys' mouths about every single aspect of their lives? We are not inside their heads, their homes, their marriages/relationships, or the inner working of their careers. Does that mean that each individual hasn't done something worth of legitimate criticism? No. They're human beings on a very public stage. Each one of them has done or said something that is not desirable and perhaps has caused you to un-fan them so to speak. But does that mean all of this fighting (i.e. Jensen fandom vs Jared fandom & Jared fandom vs Misha fandom) and toxicity and drama and spreading of negativity needs to continue? No. Why can't we just enjoy what we enjoy about this series and/or these guys and leave it at that?

It's just beyond frustrating. I swear, if I could make my own tag for this show and Jensen on here, I would. Tumblr has to come up with a better filtering tag system than the one they currently have in place.

No, not at all.

Personally I think they are great friends, they kind of grow up together in Supernatural. Well, Jensen did learn to become an adult and got bigger and bulkier till The Boys. The Jarod just grow up taller and went deep in to the forever manchlid persona.

Anyways, J2 it's not my ship. From whatever angle I look at it, I can't see it. Not only because of their characters being brothers and all. It's just not there for me.

From that mentioned link. I can explain that I do believe everyone has the right to ship whomever, and in the spirit of being cool and make peace and love (like Misha and Jackles when in Rome 😉) between the SPN factions. I mentioned that what I thought Jackles was implying, was him giving his blessing to all the ships.

When I started to watch Supernatural from the beginning back in 2005, I wasn't aware about the concept of Shiping.

I was undoubtedly attracted to Dean nearly at the middle of the first season. Jackles made Dean so real and important for me on that show, that from then I was kind of sad Supernatural wasn't about just him, later on, about him and Castiel.

From there, since season 2 to middle 3 it was me just tuning in to watch Dean killing everything with his tall brother dude. Like I said, I wasn't aware of Shiping, and because of my cultural upbringing I thought gay was wrong and a problem. (Aka living in a South American country where machismo is law, and being homofobic is instructed to children).

I got then a brief understanding and crash course about ships because of Sherlock, and here in tumblr. Yes, I'm a Johnlock refugge, but even then I wasn't THAT convinced about those two. Albeit the fan art, and of course Fanfiction get my attention and further understanding and acceptance about my bad education. I started mending fences about my previous misunderstanding of queerness.

While I was on a mental journey about life and everything, hiding in the now questionable Sherlock y stopped watching Supernatural till it was on season 7.

And then one day... 🎶 One magic day they crossed my screen.... 🎶 😂

I kinda stumbled upon Supernatural again and saw new characters and plot. I get on track again watching the thing from the beginning till season 4. My life changed forever 📺😑.

Not only I discovered my new religion and Overlord, I get to really really experience that Shiping thing. And it was beautiful.... 🥺😳

Dude! Seriously. I was an ignorant, indoctrinated to be just binary or die in shame person. But there was THEM on screen, making me question everything I learned about love ONLY by opposite genders. And discover my own identification, as Mishasexual of course.

At first I thought something was wrong with me and my perception since all the tumblr discovering and "influence". -The gays change me, I thought. I binged watched seasons from 4 to 9 to realize THIS IS REAL!

I then joined the circus and start to paint my face, wear a big red nose, use big shoes and ride a ridiculously small bicycle every Thursday at 8pm central.

It was shocking, how scene after scene, from already aired episodes to the new ones. Once Dean and Cas where together on my screen. I had a vivid experience about the concept of Shiping.

Then I went deep in this hell of a fandom =>affectionately<= 🙄. Watching every Con and panel of Misha.... aaaaand discovered Cockles.

I was doomed.

My life went wham! I questioned everything, from my initial attitude about RLS. That at one point considered as disrespectful and silly because the ones in vogue back then I couldn't understand or believe their very existence.

Once you watched 5 heavy Destiel episodes, and 3 Jibcon Cockles Panels, all the internal homophobia or general confusion about genders changes to rainbows and pink puppies that smell like candy and sound like Misha and Jackles laughing.

Well, I took a deep dive in to memory lane here. Just because a simple J2 Shiping ask. Sorry, but not sorry. I love to spread the Cockles gospel and give the good news about the magical duo that saved me from ignorance, propelled me into the land of trash and rainbows. That occupies 70% of my memory's phone between photos of Misha and them together. Usually of Jackles ogling Mish while having a secret boner.

I first commented this but maybe it's better as an ask. I'm a j2 fan who enjoys Mishalecki antics but cringes at most Jenmish panels. I don't think Misha is actually a bad person, more clueless and attention-seeking, and so I enjoy him with Jared where they both give as good as they get. With Jensen it's different. For many reasons, and Heller delusions causing drama with their batshit interpretations is only one of them.

Misha shamelessly objectifies Jensen, in a way he does not do with Jared, and baits Destiel for his own profit. This alone makes me feel like I want to protect Jensen from him, not see them together on stage, silly as it sounds. Then, Jensen is often visibly uncomfortable on stage with Misha (I suppose because of the whole objectifying thing) and in response mocks Misha ruthlessly. It makes for a cringe viewing experience unless you have shipping goggles on.

It's not always like that though. The Jenmish panel at JIB12 last summer was a lot of fun. But often it is.

I do sometimes add on to comments to continue a discussion, but I also may not feel like I have much to add or just get lazy. So if you specifically want a response to something, a direct ask is the better way to go.

I don't begrudge anyone enjoying panels with Jared and Misha. I just get kind of irritated when the same people talking up how great they were then talk shit about Jensen for *gasp* also joking with Misha. Not just finding those Jensen and Misha panels awkward af, because frankly, sometimes they are, but actively blaming Jensen for agreeing to a panel or not storming offstage in a snit. If it's that terrible to interact with Misha, it's that terrible to interact with Misha - it is or it isn't.

I personally just reached a point where I was completely fed up with Misha, but I recognize that Jared and Jensen are friends with the guy and assume that (a) they don't see the worst shit he says/posts or don't take it seriously and (b) he must have some kind of redeeming qualities one-on-one I just don't have the perspective to see.

I think it definitely plays a part that when Jared and Misha make off-color jokes to each other it's very mutual. It doesn't have that longstanding undercurrent of Misha's queerbaiting and objectification of Jensen/Dean behind Jensen's back that makes Misha's motives inherently questionable, made even moreso when he's the one disproportionately trying to turn the conversation that direction. I personally don't find Jensen's mocking jokes of Misha uncomfortable because I have dear friends where roasting each other is our way of horsing around, and it fits with Jensen's "grumpy guy" persona? But I can see why they would read as just making everything that much more awkward. I also think that Jensen is the most reserved comparatively, so it's easier for Misha and Jared to match energy levels in the first place, even without all the baggage.

And yeah, not all Jensen and Misha panels are unbearably awkward. But there has never been a Jared and Misha panel remotely as awkward as many of theirs have been. Like, seriously, if I was the kind of person to think actors were fucking solely because of the way they interacted on stage - which I'm not because that's dumb as fuck - but if I were? From Jibcon panels taken as a whole, I'd assume Misha had some weird stalkery crush on Jensen the latter was trying not to be visibly weirded out by, Jensen and Jared were occasionally raunchy BFFs playing it up for the crowd for shits & giggles, and Jared and Misha were the fuckbuddies.

tbh I hope this is the end of jibcon all together. Daniela has always given off weird vibes and made up special rules on the fly when fans didn't behave how she wanted them to.

I went to jib once, and it was actually a really stressful experience - feeling like you might break some invisible rule and be asked to leave and never return. and the whole thing running as a non-profit instead of a business seems to be coming around to bite them if they can't afford to pay their talent (but we all know that's not the real reason)

onto bigger and better things for Misha now and good riddance to jib!

Today was so overwhelming, I forgot to say that I had the most amazing auto experience with Jojo 🙏♥️ No one was behind us (I was with @assbuttboyfriends), so we actually had the opportunity to chat and I might have a crush on them 👀♥️ Definitely one of my favorite memories from this JIB.

We talked about their first time out of the U.S, The Winchesters of course, and since the magazine I made them sign featured all the characters from SPN, I asked them about their favorites. They mentioned immediatly Charlie, then Rowena, Dean ("tell Jensen I mentioned him first!" 😂) and finally Cas, with a strong emphasis on Misha and how great he is.

I told them that I was hoping to see Misha in the show in the future and they agreed. 🤞

Hey, I saw you're considering going to Purgatory Con next year and wanted to ask a dumb question since you seem to have con experience. I bought tickets for this con (it will be my first SPN con ever), but I'm confused about photo op tickets. When do the photo op tickets usually go on sale? I couldn't find any information on their website. I mainly bought the con tickets for the opportunity to have a photo op, but what if the photo op tickets are sold out before I notice they're on sale...

Hi! Unfortunately, I've only attended two cons so far, and one was german comic con, which isn't technically an spn con, and the other was jibcon, which has a whole different purchasing process altogether, so! sadly i can only offer you what I've gathered on the interwebs 😀

unless i missed something, purcon8 has so far only announced jensen as a guest and so only his extras have gone online a few weeks ago and are currently sold out, according to their booking site

on their facebook page it says that was the first batch and there would be more at a later point

they have so far not made another post announcing that. so i assume, if you don't want to miss another post, you should follow their facebook page and allow notifications or check regularly!

I think the funniest thing about the unparalleled media experience that is SPN is that eventually we are gonna realise that a lot of, if not most of the conspiracy theories were RIGHT.

J2 fallout theory began before the finale even aired. I think its safe to say it was at least SOMEWHAT accurate even if all the details arent known. The messy twitter drama and Jared's complete and utter exclusion from the Winchesters when everyone and their mother was invited to guest star from the other SPN cast is embarassingly obvious if you ask me. If Jared wasnt such a huge asshole I think I'd actually feel bad for him. Plus the obvious awkwardness and not even subtle shade at cons.

Jackles long con conspiracy is hilariously accurate. I remember the speculation during his Sexy Silence era, wondering if he hated the finale as much as we did, and getting laughed at for daring to suggest he wasnt super happy with that gross ending. Then he starts dropping shade and subtly dragging it until eventually he just came out and admitted he wasnt happy, that The Winchesters is legit an attempt to fix things. The Winchesters finale goes on to prove that, and yes, as OP says, the discussion with Misha about Cas returning surely means Jackles has already made up his mind about a DeanCas reunion. It may not look like what we all dream it will look like, but its still in keeping with the conspiracy that Jackles has been plotting to fix things since before the finale even aired.

Even if the big Destiel part of the conspiracy theory isnt as accurate, it still has a basis in reality, based on what Jackles said at Jibcon. He DOES want to see Dean respond to Cas' confession. We have finally moved out of the "Dean was silenced" era because Jackles himself has basically in a round about way confirmed that Dean was in fact silenced.

The other big conspiracy theory within SPN fandom is about the circumstances of the finale and the level of meddling and changes to the end. Misha has already confirmed that Cas was supposed to be there, that he WAS cut out completely and "covid reasons" is a bullshit excuse. If we track all the weird contradictory explanations Misha has given us over the past 2 years its obvious he had some NDA in place preventing him from actually telling the truth. Its only recently he has admitted to Cas's presence in the OG finale script. Once again the conspiracy that certain parties behind the scenes worked hard to remove any and all elements connected to Destiel isn't exactly a stretch. The finale WAS supposed to hint at a reunion between Dean and Cas in heaven. I heard recently that the one pathetic Cas mention of "Cas helped" was an on the day addition that they were thankfully able to sneak in, because he legit was erased completely. This may still be a conspiracy theory, but eventually I believe it will also be proven true - especially as time moves on and intolerence towards queer stories becomes less and less acceptable and queerbaiting becomes a thing of the past. Someone is gonna blab eventually. I can't wait to see Tumblrs reaction when it happens.

Then we have the "Chuck Won" theory. It was initially purely within the realms of meta analysis among those angry and hurt by the ending. It makes sense in so many ways, so much more sense than accepting the totally out of character finale at face value. But there never used to be much merit in it as a legit theory beyond giving hurt fans something to latch onto.

The fact that The Winchesters finale has raised more questions than it has answered, that it has blown the lid wide open on the Chuck Won theory is brilliant and a bit mind blowing. Canonically it is clear that something isn't right. Dean isn't happy and he isnt at peace, and Jack is acting wildly out of character far beyond the realms of bad writing. Its intentional imo. Because everything in this show is intentional.

I genuinely thought I had left this whole universe of maddening conspiracy theories and baffling BTS drama behind me. But its so freaking enticing I cant stop myself from diving back in. No offence to the Sherlock girlies, but the SPN conspiracies are so far removed from TJLC its impossible to compare them. The SPN conspiracies are one by one, bit by bit, slowly but surely, proving themselves true. For a show that ended over 2 years ago it really is an insane state of affairs. There is nothing else quite like the SPN Experience.

truly mind blowing thing to me personally is that the jackles long con truthers... well. maybe they weren't Absolutely Right but they were not Wrong either. he asked Misha to portray Cas on the winchesters. he did. and if cas is here the reunion is inevitable, also: “i hope we will get to see that someday / i think it will go the way we all think it would”. wild
