Podfic Recs Part 2

I'm back at work so there is considerably less free space in my brain. But, as promised, here is a selection of favorite podfics from a few fandoms. Have fun. And if anyone has any favorites from these fandoms that I didn't hit, don't be afraid to add a rec. I am always looking for more.

Shen Wei came awake all at once, gasping and choking on the thick cloud of dust lingering in the air. It was dark, so dark that he couldn't make out even vague shapes, much less anything that would give him a clue as to where he was. The air was close, heavy with warmth and so much dust it hurt to inhale. Everything hurt.

Shen Wei took in another gasp of air, then another.

It wasn't trying to inhale the thick, clotted air that was bringing him pain.

…something was wrong. Something was very wrong.

When they're captured by Dixing rebels looking for Hei Pao Shi, Zhao Yunlan is willing to do anything to keep Shen Wei out of their hands—but Shen Wei is determined to protect Kunlun. And no matter what happens they are all alone and far from safety.

It's true that Wen Kexing doesn't know everything.

Zhou Zishu opens his mouth in—shock? Irritation? The realization that he’s in love with Wen Kexing and wants to be with him forever?—and retorts, “At least you haven’t spent your entire life with the worst pickup line in the world tattooed on you.”

The drinking game that Zishu had lured Wen Kexing into playing was reaching a dangerous stage, with both of them growing muddled from drink. Yet Zishu still hadn’t yet managed to get the handsome young man beside him to say anything that might hint at the person behind the smiling mask he wore. Surely there was a limit to Kexing’s composure, uncomfortable as it was to have to play such a trick on a person Zishu liked. It reminded him of every story he had ever heard about his kind. Treacherous and selfish, disloyal and ruthless. Distracted, Zishu lost another round, but Kexing’s joyous laughter stole away any disappointment he could feel.

Maybe it was pure dumb luck. Whatever it was, Wu Xie beat Xiaoge to it, blocking everyone else from the puff of some ancient dust trap which then hit him full in the face.

Dimly, somewhere beyond his struggling lungs, Wu Xie could hear people calling his name, voices raised in desperation and fear.

Wu Xie has often wondered what goes on in the mind of their Menyouping. Thanks to an accident in a tomb, he's about to find out... and get a lot more than he bargained for.

Just the thought of seeing his husband made the fear easier to bear! He turned his head to greet Shen Qingqiu, but stopped short.

“Woah! You’re so tall!”

Binghe blinked down at a small, star-struck child he had never seen before.
