bringing pucca into modern times
pucca is probably one of the most irrational, chaotic cartoons I've ever seen, but it's pretty charming and entertaining compared 2 it's last season. i wz soo devastated when they took it off Netflix but i guess something about pucca may normalize se×ual harassment... i actually didnt want 2 believe this at first but it seems a majority of fans seem to think it :-(. i did read about this post on reddit thinking of bringing pucca into modern times by changing it's concept, but me, personally, it might be a problem...
in the e-cards/flash animations, pucca and garu appeared to be adults (I sure hope so considering pucca was basically nakey in this series.) source:
youtube
so the flash cards made them actually seem like a clingy girlfriend x shy boyfriend kind of dynamic. but when they produced the Jetix series, they decided to change that dynamic to obsessed girl x guy whose low-key scared of her for a comedic twist. (thus came the concept funny love) but their relationship was GOD AWFUL in this series. I would always get so disappointed when pucca would go too far with her "love" and feel so upset whenever I saw garu with an angry face filled with hatred everytime he saw pucca. But I think something that probably drove viewers in, having this concept, was having them think about garu and puccas complicated relationship. e.g "Does he like her back or not?" "Are they together or not?" and because of garus vow of silence (although not necessarily a problem) we'll struggle to determine his intentions. (does his red face mean he's blushing, angry, or embarrassed/in need of breath??)
because of this new concept/dynamic its most likely what made pucca popular in the first place. Which is why it may be a problem if we change the concept now (?) the reddit post proposed that pucca could be darker if the concept were to be kept, which could be fine, but it had such charm as a kids cartoon. however the dynamic shouldnt be on a kids cartoon either because it may change childrens mindsets into normalizing this problematic behavior. The third season was a good improvement on this topic, pucca seemed to be more aware of garus boundaries and garu is not as repulsed by pucca compared to the Jetix series. but the show had less charm than the Jetix one, only being accompanied by toilet humour and cute moments of pucca and garus relationship, while the Jetix one was a bit more expressive and fluid. Pucca (the show) has pretty unreliable writers.
but I think there are a number of concepts for pucca and garu to have a healthy(?) relationship while still having the comedic schtick. I've heard some people say garu and pucca are a couple in the series, and garu simply distances himself from her so his enemies don't target her. this concept would be cute if garu just simply.... returned his kisses 😭 like a cute >_< peck on the lips and then hes like "bye I'm off to kill ppl (for justice)!!!" this would confirm they're in a relationship and the concept could go on smoothly. That, or pucca and garu having a competitive romantic relationship. the chase would happen as usual, but it could be like a kind of who kisses who first dynamic. that would be adorbs... but besides that, everyone could come up with much more creative dynamics for pucca to be brought into modern times. would anyone care to tell me about their ideas?

Freeform Disney Block Ideas
So for the past few months, I've been thinking about the concept of the channel Freeform having programming blocks for the animated programming from Disney’s expansive library, similar to what TeenNick and Adult Swim did with The Splat and Checkered Past.
I feel like it would help garner more interest in the channel, and would serve as a throwback to those programming blocks like Disney’s One Saturday Morning and ABC Kids.
So far, I’ve taught of about two programming blocks, both of which would air on the weekends.
Funky Fridays:
This would be a Friday night block, drawing heavy inspiration from Cartoon Network’s Cartoon Cartoon Fridays.
The block's format would be set in the iconic House of Mouse, where Mickey, his famous pals, and various Disney Channel characters serve as the hosts.
As for the programming.
The block would feature new episodes of Big City Greens, Hamster & Gretel, Kiff, Zombies: The Re-Animated Series and Primos.
In fact, that would be the biggest draw of the block.
You would be able to see new episodes of these shows before they would properly premiere on their home network.
The block would also feature reruns of Phineas & Ferb, Hailey's On It!, Recess, The Proud Family, Lilo & Stitch: The Series, Pepper Ann, and yes, even House of Mouse.
And staying true to it's name, Funky Fridays would feature music videos that would air during commercial breaks, structured in a countdown format ala TeenNick's Top 10.
Finally for the schedule....
-6:00: Recess
-6:30: Pepper Ann
-7:00: Big City Greens (New)
-7:30: The Proud Family
-8:00: Zombies: The Re-Animated Series (New)
-8:30: Lilo & Stitch: The Series
-9:00: Hamster & Gretel (New)
-9:30: Phineas & Ferb
-10:00: Primos (New)
-10:30: Hailey's On It!
-11:00: Kiff (New)
-11:30: House of Mouse
Jetix:
Now this is a name that I'm sure will take you all back!
This will serve as a Saturday night block, focusing on the more action-oriented/mature programming of the library, ala Toonami.
Similar to Funky Fridays, it would feature various characters serving as the hosts of the block.
However, the setting would be in a high-tech hero base.
As for the programming, it would primarily feature reruns.
Those being of Hercules: The Series, Aladdin: The Series, Gargoyles, The Legend of Tarzan, Buzz Lightyear of Star Command, Kim Possible, American Dragon: Jake Long, Gravity Falls, Amphibia, The Owl House, The Spectacular Spider-Man, and Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
There would be new episodes of Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur, X-Men: The Next Mutation, Maximum Marvel, and Time Patrol Bon.
In the case of the middle two, they would be Freeform original series since....
They're a little too mature for Disney Channel
They're not gonna thrive at all over at Disney XD! Also, same issue as Disney Channel
I actually want the seasons for these shows to be longer than 10 episodes. So no to Disney Plus
As for Time Patrol Bon, I know it seems strange it's an original series on Netflix.
But #1, this wouldn't be the first time a Netflix original series would go on to air on television.
And #2, this would sort of a nod to the fact that Disney famously aired the official English dub of Doraemon, another work done by the Fujiko Fujio.
As for the schedule.
-6:00: Star Wars: The Clone Wars
-6:30: Buzz Lightyear of Star Command
-7:00: Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur (New)
-7:30: Hercules: The Series
-8:00: Time Patrol Bon (New)
-8:30: Aladdin: The Series
-9:00: X-Men: The Next Mutation (New)
-9:30: Gargoyles
-10:00: Maximum Marvel (New)
-10:30: The Legend of Tarzan
-11:00: Gravity Falls
-11:30: The Spectacular Spider-Man
-12:00: Amphibia
-12:30: Kim Possible
-1:00: The Owl House
-1:30: American Dragon: Jake Long
Well that's all I have for now.
A short post I know, but a fun one.
Let me know what you guys think about this block ideas and the schedules for them.

I know you have playlists for individual characters, but do you have playlists for Beanstalked or Glitter and Guilt as a whole, or any of your stories for that matter? Do any songs in particular make you think of your stories overall whenever you listen to them?
I DO have playlists for my main stories, it's just that they aren't COMPLETELY accurate to how I hear my stories as I also include songs I relate to various characters in the story. So the music is kind of all over the place bc errbody is sharing.
For Beanstalked specifically, I lean more towards oldies or older sons from around the 70s to early 2000s range. I've realized a lot of the music I relate to that story are nostalgic songs I personally grew up fond of so it's a bit hard to really put into words what genre works for it sometimes.
It's kinda funny how people will expect fantasy-ish music for it but I keep having cook out hits cycling through my head
For Glitter and Guilt, it has more variety in its music. It's.gor, as I keep stating, 90s and 2000s RnB as well as more modern songs (that still lean in that direct in terms of sound). However, there's some songs like kpop and jpop included, especially Crystal Kay's stuff since Glitter and Guilt is more anime inspired.
If we are talkin' specific songs that make me think of each story, Whitney Houston's "Love Will Save the Day" gives me big af Beanstalked intro vibes like if it were an early Saturday morning (or in my very specific case--late night Jetix show).
And Crystal Kay's Kaede is def a Glitter and Guilt outro song. I like the concept of it playing while panning through landmarks in Decking City while it's night time.

Hidden Truth Prequel: The Peak of Madness
"When love is drowning you... when waiting becomes unbearable... when inevitably your mind will turn against you... and it will send you to the... PEAK OF MADNESS" back page of the cover book designed and written by @artsofmetamoor
My written work for w.i.t.c.h fans that I still call out there can be found solely upon DeviantArt here:
(I am terribly sorry but due to some very heavy thematic that includes severe mental health and indicators of addictions and suicide I have to censor it but DA is free so you can make accounts just to see it!)
Cover art (reduced quality) by @artsofmetamoor Please go to her for specifications and such)
[Please read]
Soooo here is a small prequel for the story I am working with my dear friend @artsofmetamoor an original conception of hers for the comic series W.I.T.C.H (which is currently under re-construction and re-design). This mini-light novel is a prequel to my friend's story "Hidden Truth" in which Diego (Caleb's adopted brother, an OC) finally sinks into his madness and his loneliness and decides to do the unforgivable; invade Kandrakar and take Caleb as his prisoner!
The story takes place before Issue #21 where Caleb is about to wake up inside the Cosmos of Abeyance and before the final faceoff with Nerissa and it expands up until Issue #23 after Caleb and Cornelia's breakup issue.
Diego is struggling with his own insecurities and he is being driven crazy from worry since he has no news from Caleb. His own boarderline and bipolar tendencies in his thinking patterns are not helping since he either sees things brightly or completely gloomy. Now after days and days the opportunity has arrived; a White Herald of Kandrakar finally brings news. And Diego is not going to leave this opportunity.
The part where Diego is remembering how he "saved Elyon" by talking to her was inspired from the animated series' episode "The Morgriff" where Caleb bows before Elyon, telling her that the Rebels are by her side. This action is done by Diego in our story, somewhere in-between the issues of the first cycle.
I hope you liked this crazy ride! Please visit Arts-Of-Metamoor profile and see her amazing art in regards of this collaboration!
PLEASE DO NOT USE ANY PART OF THIS STORY AS YOUR OWN OR STEAL IT. YOU CAN USE IDEAS OR CREATE FROM HERE ONLY IF YOU HAVE OUR PERMISSION AND MENTION US TO YOUR WORK! THANK YOU VERY MUCH

Obscure Animation Subject #35: Yin Yang Yo!
Originally posted on Twitter on March 14, 2023.
Created by Bob Boyle, who also created Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! and developed PPG 2016, its an American-Canadian co-production by Jetix Animation Concepts, the last show by a joint venture of Disney Television Animation and Jetix Europe.
The series airs on Toon Disney via the Jetix programming block, later merged into Disney XD by the end of the show’s run. It premiered as a sneak peek on August 26, 2006, then officially on September 4, 2006. The final episode aired on April 18, 2009, and reruns aired until 2010.
In Canada, it premiered on Family Channel on March 25, 2007. Most writers and animators involved with the show previously worked on The Fairly OddParents, 6teen, Clone High, Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! and Danny Phantom. This includes Bob Boyle, creator of both this show and Wubbzy.
Bob Boyle has also worked on both The Fairly OddParents and Danny Phantom as a producer and art director for both. For the earlier show, he also was an executive producer, storyboard artist and layout designer. Head writer Steve Marmel also worked on OddParents and DP.
Marmel took inspiration from anime like FLCL and anime-influenced shows like Teen Titans. Considering he’s an anime fan, you can see the influences in his style of writing. This show’s and Wubbzy’s art style are similar to each other, but this show has a more detailed edge.
This show is about two twin rabbits named Yin and Yang, and their sensei-like panda figure named Yo, a master of fictional mystical martial arts called Woo Foo. The twins learn about the sacred art of Woo Foo, a special type of martial arts that involves both might and magic.
They must work together to defeat evil villains and forces movitivated on destroying, corrupt or dominate society. For the first season, the primary goal was to defeat the Night Master, a powerful enemy, but by the second season we got more storylines making room for more lore.
The show, having to last for two seasons with 65 half-hours of 104 segments had positive reception thoughout its run, thanks to the animation, comedy, action and lore. It gained a fandom who grew-up with the show very fondly is often compared to Wubbzy, Boyle’s other work.
I even grew-up with it when it was airing and thought it was good. Rewatching it, it still holds up very well, its considered timeless. I definitely recommend checking this show out if you haven’t seen it, it’s fun, action-packed, hilarious and has great continuity.

Lycoris Recoil feels so oddly nostalgic to me. Watching it (only on episode 2)feels like something I’d watch growing up on jetix and kids WB where these teens are a part of a secret org that protects the city. or maybe just the music feels early 2000’s idk? the animation and concept just feels like the cartoons and anime I used to watch on tv as a kid.
Someone help me out here??

What is an illustration essay plan footnotes?
For this essay, is better if I explain my own experiences of illustration after the books and reflections of my tutors. I had explored in my course that maybe it's too early to begin with my own subjects to make an essay, but I believe it is better to research my own course. It's better to understand, especially if I am interested in Studio Ghibli to know illustration, Mangas and animation differences and qualities of work. I had been began with art and design the books I had being learned illustrations don't counted as art but better to learn fine art and art and design or visual art because is an impacted as an illustrator career to begin but I have to be watch to not to compare with graphic design if I compeer with illustration with graphic design it won't make senses because The graphic being specific as it seems don't using visuals but using similar tools like illustration. For Illustrations Has many alterations the child books and comics or Mangas. I wanted to being try booth of the subject just like Miyazaki did he has shared on his animation and Mangas child based and his countries' histories being opened up He also knows how to make me speechless or stunned with his art work and sound tracks expressions( I will be write about him on my next essay's just I need some connections with the subject I do and I have to know why I chosen this subject.
I always liked Wine the Phoo because this was my childhood but long as I searched up the classic real classic part was ditched the Disney disappointments.
If I could go back to my child hood I would be learn classic British illustrations because
I explored Peter Rabbit, Paddington, Hungry Caterpillar and Wine the Phoo. In my country also has classic illustration I had grown up called pompom tails, folk tails in Hungary, Green Rabbit.
I had being watched Grimm Fairy Japanese versions in my country.
I also fascinated of the little prince.
For Mangas or animation I have a list:
Vampire knight
Mermaid melody
Sailor Moon
Kyou Koi Wa hajimemasithu
Kaito Kamikaze Jeana
Kami sama Hajime Ashita
I would love to say I read Naruto , Death Note, Bleach or my hero academy or demon slayer but does mangas was sold out quickly and online manga I don't find or I find lazy of myself to search.
Animation I watched Cartoon network, marvel, animax, Jetix and the Fox kids.
Bakugan
W.I.T.C.H
Jin Jan Jo
Oban Battle of star
Star wars rebelled
Star wars clown wars
I also inspired by Pixar and Dreamwork
Because pixar and dream works wont necessary using music or twisting out things it was realism based on it could be funny and sad at the same time concepted of life time and tinny cultural history dragged in.
MY favorite Pixar movies:
Up
walle
InsideOut
Toys story
Monster university
Finding nemo/ Finding dory
Red panda
Incredibles
Your friend rat/ratatouille
Bao/short film
Cars 1
This animation from Pixar is the one it had being raised me up just like the Gibling studio and motivated me to learn illustration and novel writing. this animation made me learn how to understand emotions- colours some communications with parents with their Childrens. Puberty maybe obvious but this is the language I prefer to communicating with my novels and illustrations. Reach the Pixar's and dreamwork more read books or wiki pedia just like Miyazaki and Ghibling studios!
Dreamworks
Kung fu panda
Shrek
Puss boots
Mega mind
Shark tales
Madagascar
Madagascar Pingues
Rise of the guards
Trolls
Boss baby
How to train your dragons
Croods
Flushed away
Monster vs aliens
The Flushed away is my first movie and cinema in my life it meant something new perspectives talking animals why? the triangle cone faces and the tooths I cannot stop myself to think how often they chewing something.
Nickelodeon:
SpongeBob square pants
Full house
Danny phantom
Teen mutant turtle
Hej Arnould
Rugrats
Catdog
Powerpuff
Adventure time
Jimmy neutron
Avatar
Fairy odd parents
I really liked how British illustrators used watercolours, dry-point prints, and typography.

Ciro Nieli Unveils Never Before Seen TRON Animated Series Pitch
According to Ciro Nieli after Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go! ended in 2005: DisneyTVA asked him to pitch a TRON series sadly the project wouldn’t work out. but the pitch went great!
Also according to Ciro, Disney asked if he could pitch a animated Power Rangers series when Disney owned the brand in the 2000′s
After robot monkey ended, @disneytva asked me if I wanted to develop Power Rangers or TRON as a tv series. My Tron pitch went well but ultimately it wouldn’t work out. My initial idea was a reimagining of an original pitch I had called POWERCADE about 2 kids who inherit electrical powers and a strange energy creature named GLITCH.

CHIRO
Being the leader, he's still learning about the job and Power Primate. He's very outgoing and tends to act like every typical 13-14-year-old boy: loves video games, the arcade, and attempts to impress girls on many occasions. He cares deeply for his friends. Chiro is at times very impulsive and stubborn, a trait that tends to get him, and everyone with him, into trouble. (Description from SRMTHFG Wiki.)

Savin’s Answers from Twitter, Part 5!
Pretty much done with the backlog; this post covers tweets from November 2018 through May 2019
As always, tweets are in order from most to least recent, and answers may not 100% true/canon since things are bound to change during production of the sequel. Text is unedited save for formatting; in a few places I added [comments] for context.
Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3 | Part 4
Also: If you’re going to ask Savin something, please be respectful and appropriate. He’s a person just like you and me.
-
@NekoItoi: Will the bluray be released for Region A or solely region B? As I really want to finally own Oban in hd
@EiffelSavin: The bluray will be crowdfunded and region free
(x)
@Helloworld1012: Maybe U could get a adventures of young Aikka series funded
@EiffelSavin: Actually we're developping both a sequel and a spinof, which would reveal a lot about Aikka's past...
(x)
[talking about rick]
@Antarasis: Pretty metalhead. 👍 And losing your ability to pursue your #1 passion is such a heavy hitting topic. Was interesting to see a character confronted with it. Especially to see an admirable character give in to anger because of helplessness and make him act unpleasant/unlikable.
@EiffelSavin: I agree. Characters that are not just plain black and white are very interresting to follow.
(x)
@Helloworld1012: out of curiosity, Do U [Savin and Thomas] prefer the Eva & Jordan romantic pairing and prefer that Eva & Jordan be a couple or the Eva & Aikka romantic pairing & prefer that Eva & Aikka become a couple? I heard from a discord chat that U both have different views in
@Helloworld1012: who Eva should end up with. And do Romantically pair Eva with one of them.
@EiffelSavin: I don't remember disagreeing with Thomas over this and would rather leave the choice to the audience - both relationships are important ! This being said, the question of who Eva likes most may resurface in the sequel, if we get to make it...
(x)
@Xanidos43: is it still possible to get the newsletter? i would love to support and buy the blu ray upon release.
@EiffelSavin: There will be more newsletters to come. For now just register on the bluray page of the http://obanstarracers.com website
(x)
@Helloworld1012: Hey I’ve noticed for quite a while, that Aikka and Eva in the concept art physically look to be about the same age, please give us this one hint. Is the fact that Eva and Aikka look physically the same age in the concept art have something to do with the plot or OSR
@Helloworld1012: 2? Or is it just because you and @Thomasintokyo just wanted to show what Eva and Aikka could possible look like when their older?
@EiffelSavin: One possible direction for the sequel is for it to take place a few years after the original show. Hence the concept art. But this is still under discussion and would also depend on who finances the series
(x)
@Antarasis: Can we have a show about poor Muir, haha? Oh god, if I'd have the time I'd so make a parody show about Muir. There should be Muirs in Skyrim instead of mudcrabs. And Muir should get a skin in FightCrab. x'D Aaah, the potential of Muir. Please don't commit suizide, little crab.
@EiffelSavin: I could easily imagine a series about the adventures of "young muir"(!) Not sure we could get it funded though ☺️
(x)
@AldrenMcneal: Hi there! i recently watched an Oban Star Racers video and found out a potential sequel was in the works. i found your twitter and realized it was announced back in 2017. How much progress have you made since then? Do you have the story planned out? Thanks!
@EiffelSavin: The story is planned out but we need investors - and time as well, since we're all involved in other projects too. Hopefully a successful bluray release we'll help refocuss everyone's energy
(x)
@Bfahome: I heard rumors in the past that there's a "full" version of Oban's English opening, "Never Say Never". Are those rumors true and, if so, who would be the ones to have it? Would it even exist still?
@EiffelSavin: I'm not sure about this. I think the only version I ever heard was the opening version. For your info our US partners felt very strongly about using that song. I gave my OK because it was pretty catchy, even though the op credits were created to match Yoko Kanno's title song.
(x)
@EiffelSavin: Thanks a lot to the 1000+ #obanstarracers fans who took the time to answer our little survey. Here's what you answered to one of the first question asked. Among the alien racers, it seems Spirit made quite an impression #animation #anime #surveys #jetix #nhkbs #toowam
@MattGiusti: The lack of Sul on this list is very sad.
@EiffelSavin;: Sul came right after and would certainly have fared better if the question was who's your favorite alien character. Bear in mind that the list of choices here included some of the main characters of the show, like Jordan and Aikka and that one could only give a single answer.
@rhodanum: I'm quite surprised at how high Spirit ranked (higher than Stan, Don and Maya!) and that Jordan ranked higher than Aikka. The latter is especially surprising, given the gigantic number of fanworks (fanart, fanfic) featuring Aikka or Aikka x Eva, compared to Jordan or Jordan x Eva
@EiffelSavin: Aikka ranked first in some territories but overall Jordan came first - among the voters at least. I would be interesting to see if female and male voters voted equally - or predominantly - for one or the other...
(x) (x)
@GabrielAubry2: What happened to Prince Aikka after he returns to Nourasia? Won’t the Crogs on the planet be angry at what he did on Oban?
@EiffelSavin: Good question indeed but bear in mind their leader crashed on Oban and that there were fierce rivalries between the rest of chiefs. This must have slowed them somehow. Plus there's a new Avatar! 🙂
(x)
@RakkuBoi: ust took the survey. It's probably asking for too much but one idea I expressed was the possibility of including autographes. Maybe on the art cards that might be included? Your's or @Thomasintokyo would be AMAZING.
@EiffelSavin: Point noted 😉
(x)
@kueekueeng: from a fan who's been waiting for years, is "The 2 Queens" movie ever going to be released?
@EiffelSavin: Finding funding on the French market as proven more difficult than anticipated but we haven't given up and have also started working on an animated series adaptation, possibly with a more "radical" artistic direction. More news hopefully soon...
(x)
@SonicMrgame2017: Which program you guys used for animation?
@EiffelSavin: Here are the programs the team used for the animation: Pencils (well sharpened), large and thin Erasers, and most important: thousands and thousands of sheets of Paper 😉
@SonicMrgame2017: Yeah, but, the animation was done in cels or you guys used some kind of digital ink? PD: Respects!!!! I love handrawn animation
@EiffelSavin: Oban used digital paint and compositing. When we produced the series it was the very last days of painted cells in Japan, where it lasted longer than in other countries. I think the last series that used painted cells was "Sazae-san". 🙂
(x)
@quantum_cuboid: QUESTION. Can you give us any insight as to which characters will make a return in the OSR sequel? There were many good characters, and a few that make me wonder whatever happened to them!
@EiffelSavin: I'll give you one: Eva (!) 😉 For the rest I prefer to keep quiet for now but feel free to make suggestions ☺️
(x)
[note: this thread is originally in French and I used Google Translate]
@supalinocelosu: So it was the authors directly who led the # ObanStarRacers
@ EiffelSavin: I think that should be the norm but apparently no ... I was also present during the English dubbing in Vancouver. But this time there was a director of English voices. I was commenting but not directly the direction of US actors
(x)
@theinmaskedboy: Could you clarify a doubt sir? 1) What happened with him when he arrived on the earth, because at the end of the galactic race he did not mention again .. 2) There are some loose ends in history, like the crow .. Was he eliminated from the race? or just leave?
@EiffelSavin: Spirit did not make it to the final 3 so he was eliminated & returned to his home planet. Regarding Rick, his job was done so he went back home too. We had crazy plans of making a sequel with him starring as a private PI (!) Who knows we may reuse that in 1 form or another
(x)
@Taibhse_Designs: Now this is a beauty to see, any concept art for the whizzing arrow or other paint job ideas other than the bunny exist that never made it to print?
@EiffelSavin: yes. We did more than 10 paint job tests before going for the actual ones :) That certainly could be something for the new art book.
(x)
@Taibhse_Designs: I have the original DVDs still in good condition with the cardboard sleeve, I atleast rewatch the entire series once a year and would love a Blu-ray version. Would love to see some stats on the ships like actual scale, measurements, or official heights of the characters.Taibhse Designs added,
@EiffelSavin: That could be a cool extra actually, or something to add to a new art book. If you join the Oban Bluray Project newsletter on http://obanstarracers.com we'll soon ask you about the type of features and goodies you'd like to have.
(x)
@TheRealZentron: The 1080p 4:3 version is the most crisp out of the three, but I like the cinematic scope of the 16:9, I just wish it was as crisp! Still, can't wait until the Blu-Ray comes out, hopefully it will be available to and playable in the UK!
@EiffelSavin: The bluray will be, for the first time, in the original rate of 24f/s and will be zone free
@TheRealZentron: That's great to hear Savin, thanks for the info! I'll sure to place my order once available, it'll sure be good watching OSR HD on my 70" 4K TV! Will the set also include the original Molly Star-Racer trailer in HD or the regular SD?
@EiffelSavin: I'm working on this. The pb is to get the rights to the music. In all cases it will be sd as it was produced that way but we'll try to upscale it in the best possible way from the best source available.
(x)
[Original question deleted]
@EiffelSavin: That was my notes, yes: Maya cut off from her family because of her choice to become a racer with Don, and Don having old parents that died early. Thus no grand parents for Eve to turn 2. But since we never go beyond that in the story, U can make up your own idea on backstory 🙂
(x)
@LovesOban: Please tell me because I’ve been obsessing over this, but even though he wouldn’t be as skilled as Aikka, Cannan or a Nourasian knight in martial arts, & Even though in 2082 DW isn’t the most athletic & even though DW is more brains than brawn & doesn’t have brute strength, in
@EiffelSavin: Don Wei is not a "big man" but he's determined and has grown quite tough, at least since Maya's death. Do you remember the first time he meets Rick and his biker buddies in the middle of the desert? He stands up to them pretty well, doesn't he?
(x)
@HG_Alsmyr: are you going to have Thomas Romain join you for the Ōban sequel by chance?
@EiffelSavin: Yes. We've already started to collaborate on the sequel and spinoff projects. Working together again was very touching actually 🙂

Cool Hip Anime!
youtube
Anime
Large sparkling eyes, brightly coloured frizzy hair, obscure nose and high facial expression reminds us connected with only one factor.
Anime
Can you do you know what the item is?
If your response is actually Anime, then STOP, to see an otaku's brain!
Cartoons (pronounced: "Ah-nee-may") will be a form of animation typically from Okazaki, japan. They have got their own style this means you will show that in peculiar and wonderful ways. Cartoons also has its very own sense associated with comedy along with has a unique thought processes. It can get actually strong and serious, as well as it could truly be silliest (like: "Lucky Star", "Kill Me Baby") in addition to craziest (like: "Death Note", "Gintama") thing a person have ever before seen. Many Anime demonstrates are centered on popular mangas (Japanese Comics), just putting any not much more life into these people. Cartoons often covers far more serious issues than normal cartoons. In the united states, cartoons tend to be considered a form regarding enjoyment meant for youngsters. In Okazaki , japan, people involving all ages (no, not necessarily newborn babies! ) see anime. Most shows and flicks are centred for youngsters, teenager or young older people, but you can also get many cartoons that are made with regard to older crowd even business people and housewives!
The phrase "Anime" is the close pronunciation connected with "animation" within Japanese, exactly where this expression references just about all animation. Outside the house Japan, cartoons is applied to refer specifically toon from Japan or Western disseminated animation style usually characterized by colourful visuals, attractive characters and fantastical designs. Japanese animation commenced inside 20th century. Katsudo Shashin is claimed for you to be the first Japan animation. The 1923 Fantastic Kanto earthquake triggered wide-spread destruction including demolition associated with earliest Anime Companies as well as anime works; departing Kouchi's Namakura Gatana because the most well-known surviving animation. The 1st cartoons television series was Otogi Manga Calendar aired by 1961 to 1964.
This introduction to anime ended up being in category four while I watched "City Hunter" in a T. Sixth v. channel, Animax. Though I could see anime (as a make a difference of fact the particular multiple of anime is usually anime) like "Doraemon", "Shinchan", "Avatar-The last airbender", "Summer Days and nights with Coo", "AstroBoy", "Dragon Ball-Z", "Naruto" in the past just before yet I did definitely not recognize the profound perception regarding anime as this was dubbed throughout Hindi (rather I would point out "contaminated" instead of "dubbed" by means of old, ridiculous man noises in Hindi who also would break unnecessary, slap-stick jokes deviating viewers through the plot and also terrain you in a hotch-potch of indianised anime). My very own sister ( three yrs young than me even though I actually refuse to confess she is older when compared with me) took weird curiosity in Japanese anime similar to " Tears to Tiara" and "Stigma of typically the Wind" aired in Animax: that we thought strange from that time while the "patriotic inertia" will stop me from receiving something but Indian products. I got first repelled by often the proven fact that all the words casts have been in Japoneses and to understand history I had to consider difficulty of reading the actual Subtitles in english and had to help correlate the particular speech using the video proven; regarding which great deal involving attention seemed to be required. That was impossible personally in order to do both those exhaustion tasks at the very same time, so I delivered to my old Capital t. V. channels: Cartoon Community, Nickolodeans, Hungama, Pogo, Come back and Jetix.
After some sort of very long hiatus, in type seven, My spouse and i again started out experimenting our skills with understanding anime which often converted out to be a new success, when I 1st delighted in anime including "Hayate the Combat Butler" along with "Fairy Tail". Also! This kind of sweet poison! Following a total hectic day time in school, expenses, floating around classes, art in addition to audio classes, and full various other heck lot of routines; I waited only to be able to settle-back and relax for you to watch these kinds of anime. From that time, nothing was of importance to me; not also my parents, close friends as well as teachers. In that online realms of pleasure My partner and i could equipment my failures and sufferings as effortlessly as I got obtained in successes. Nothing irritated me, except when We were required to attend phone telephone calls or to wide open entrance, if any guests will come when the anime indicates were ongoing. However, cartoons hardly did affect this studies as after seeing two hour long plan, I suffered from PARTS (Post Anime Depression Syndrome) that I suffered typically the sense of guilt of wasting moment that has been more intensified through my very own mother's rebuke (I wish to describe this circumstance as "Kata Ghaye nuun-er Chheta") and this also guilt might propel my family to review harder, concentrate and also perform for longer hours this also occurred as daily schedule in my opinion; so I can easily get the best of most connected with the students be that researching or swimming or even any different work.
Hence to all parents, I actually would like to ask for allowing your kids to help watch anime because it proved helpful out for me (maybe I use strange wirings within my human brain! ). Enjoying anime would help an individual to hone your fictional, vocabulary and analytical expertise. More importantly, it would certainly serve as a enormous source of entertainment, at the very least way beyond the little league of daily Indian soap.
Understanding the culture associated with origins is very crucial to realize the plan, be it Japanese cartoons, Korean language Aeni webtoons, China's Manhua Anime or Us sitcoms (which I endured after i was novice inside observing anime). If anyone have watched virtually any cartoons, you will probably discover that often the characters respond differently along with things throughout general (like properties, vehicles, eating etc. ) are usually bit different from everything you used to. Probably the actual most readily evident distinctions between Japanese computer animation in addition to others is the a muslim everywhere huge eyes (bigger in comparison with nose), brightly girl locks, some well-endowed character types as well as exaggerated emotional movement and also gestures are regular regarding anime. Being hand-drawn, cartoons is separated coming from actuality providing an best path intended for escapism directly into which followers can involve themselves having relative simplicity. The production of cartoons focusses less on the particular cartoon movement and considerably more on the realistic look involving settings like "The Yard of Words".
The particular beginning and credit sequences connected with most anime are combined with Japanese rock or take song which maybe related to the anime series, simply by popular bands. "Nanairo Namida" by Tomato n' Pinus radiata of anime "Beelzebub" along with "Just Awake" of cartoons "Hunter X Hunter" are a few of my favourite anime tunes, which you may try out.
Since there are several sorts of cartoons, one will need to classify these individuals with different genres, some associated with them are generally: Action, Audio, Mecha, Experience, Mystery, Bishounen, Yuri, Yaoi, Akuma, Seinen, Shoujo, Shounen, Kodomo, Piece of Existence and a lot of more. Whether you're the die-hard anime fan (like me generally labelled seeing that "otaku"), a casual watcher, the interested onlooker or perhaps commoner from non-anime website: cartoons genres shall supply you actually with some simple knowledge which help you in order to venture the cartoons planet with ease and joy.
I am going to be able to share some remarkable rates of anime which will etch my heart usually are:
• Motoko Kusanagi regarding "Ghost in the Shell a couple of: Innocence"
"We weep to get blood of a pet although not for the our blood of a species of fish. Endowed are those with any tone. "
• Shinchi Akiyama of "Liar Game"
"People SHOULD be doubted. Many people get me wrong this specific concept. Doubting people is simply a part of getting for you to know them. Just what quite a few people call "trust" is absolutely just giving up about wanting to understand others in addition to that extremely act is definitely far more serious than questioning. It is actually 'apathy'. "
• Hachiman Hikigaya of "My Teen Passionate Comedy SNAFU"
"If simple truth is cruel
Then
Lie needs to be kind
Then
Kindness need to be lie"
You can observe anime with T. /. by opting-in to Animax, Aniplus, AnimeCental, TV Tokyo or online on internet sites like animehaven. to help, kissanime, Funimation. com, Netflix, Crunchyroll. com, hulu, Vimeo and so forth.
ENJOY WATCHING CARTOONS!
