The reason why Cicero was forced to retire from assassinations, was because he was appointed as The Keeper of The Night Mother's corpse.Who is a religious figure within the assassin's guild, The Dark Brotherhood.

The Dark Brotherhood was falling, and Cicero ended up alone with two other living people. During said years, Cicero was desperate to hear The Night Mother's voice, but only ended up with laughter instead.Cicero recognised the laughter as the jester's, and accept it as his friend and gift from The Night Mother. Is still hesitant though, and wants to hear The Night Mother's voice.

After the final member aside from Cicero dies, he fully embraces the laughter and becomes a jester himself.

thinking about avatars and do you guys think that there are avatars that are completely unaware that they are avatars.

Or maybe ones who are aware that something is wrong with them even if just subtly but still try to be normal and continue on with their life because maybe if they just ignore everything wrong with them it will stop happening.

Or maybe there are ones who are fully aware of it and treat it more like a disability or just another part of them as they just continue through their life.

Do you think that there there are some avatars that don't want to be avatars but are because they became inextricably bound to the Fears from an experience or series of them?

Do you think that there are avatars that even know what the Fears are?

So I dug into my vault of drawings from as late as now to ocs I made as far back as middle school!
