I was just wondering, is Nell’s hair starting to grow out? I just noticed it seemed just a tad longer in the most recent comic

I love your stardew comic so much <3

Yes! They fluctuate between the shoulder-length and slightly shorter most of the time. The longer it gets, the more often they wear it in a tiny ponytail or tie it out of the way with a bandana.

When i first read the comic i went “why are they so skinmy?? They run a farm??” But then you showed them actually struggling with the farm chores. Bug eaten crops, feeling exhausted at the shovel, and I understand. I imagine they haven’t eaten a single stardrop yet. My out of shape self feels that when I do simple gardening. (doesn’t help that i overheat like an old Dell computer)

I wonder as the comic goes on they get a bit more muscle?

Nell has been notoriously underweight their entire life and struggles to put on weight always. Starting the farm and being too broke and stubborn to eat properly hasn't helped :')

I imagine they get more lean and strong as time goes on, but they definitely start out being easily exhausted every day. Chopping down trees and clearing out rocks from the farmland was a nightmare and they did end up recruiting their brother (and Robin) to come help them.

Hey I just wanted to let you know that your Nell "The Farmer" Franklin helped me figure out some stuff with myself - and I think realise that I am Agender. I saw a lot of myself in them and your comic really helped me feel more ordinary in who I am or might be. Even if it's not concrete yet, I'm still getting settled, I just wanted to say thanks to you and Nell anyway. ☺️
