I AGREE WHOLEHEARTEDLY WITH THIS POST!

Sadly, despite what books and movies tell us, toxic relationships don't end well in the real world, and nothing, and I mean NOTHING justifies horrible words/actions toward another person, especially someone you "have a crush on." or "love." In fact, if you genuinely care about this person, you should treat them with the utmost respect and kindness and show them how worthy they are of such love.

A healthy relationship consists of mutual respect and genuine care for one another, it involves acknowledging each other's strengths and weaknesses, but lifting each other up and not tearing each other down. Quarrels/arguments should never involve them being belittled, degraded, physically harmed, etc.

Teach them to trust their instincts and to know their worth!

Don’t tell your daughter that when a boy is mean or rude to her it’s because he has a crush on her. Don’t teach her that abuse is a sign of love.

OH, YES! I relate to this so much!

Every time I want to watch a new show or movie, whether or not the actor I am currently crushing on is in it, I have to do extensive research on the show in case there are any scenes I might not like, without avoiding spoilers at the same time, which can be a CHALLENGE! 

So yeah, I already knew most of the stuff that was going to happen in Peaky Blinders. Not everything, I was able to actually be surprised a couple of times, but when it came to certain character deaths, I was not emotionally prepared.

This is why I like watching the same movies or shows over and over again, because I already know what's going to happen and it's comforting for me.

No no you don't understand! I want to watch this show/movie, read this book, listen to this podcast, etc.! But I must be in the right mindset and the exact head space to begin, or I just can't!

2: Pigeon

I used to know this trainhopping musician guy, who went by the name of Pigeon. He had more tattoos than he did teeth and his skin was so dirty and sun-leathered you couldn't tell how old he was. But damn if he couldn't play bottleneck blues guitar with the best of 'em. Once, I asked him what his real name was. "Pigeon is my real name," he said. I nodded, cuz I get it, sometimes our real name isn't the one our parents gave us. "No," he said. "Hand to God, my folks named me Pigeon. It's kinda silly, I know, but I will say—pigeons sure know how to survive off other people's scraps."

Currently Reading: Fanfiction, lol. I am doing more writing than reading at the moment. Hoping to pick up this newer book called A Kind of Spark and give it a read because I just finished the show and I cannot emphasize enough how much I love it. 

Current Obsession: Lots, lol. The Sandman and Peaky Blinders are my main 2 at the moment so anyone who wishes to talk about them with me, my DMs are always open. :)
