I'm rewatching Modern Family and I still enjoy it. This picture makes me happy. You don't go with your co-star to a high school play of another co-star if you don't really like each other.
jessetyler: Took my sis to see the kiddo in her school musical, The Theory of Relativity. So proud of you @aubreyandersonemmons! If you are near @viphstheatre go check it out this weekend. ❤️

modern family
Type: Serial/Movie
Genre: Sitcom, Mockumentary
Number of Season(s): 11
Running Years: 2009-2020
Creators: Christopher Lloyd & Steven Levitan
Personally, this show can be considered as my comfort show. The main focus of this show is something that is close to me on a daily basis, something that I counter with everyday. Modern Family has made me feel that I am not alone in this world with family issues, since everywhere I look at, especially my friends, they all seem like have harmonious family. Although that may be the surface only, Modern Family has assured me the reality of the world we live in is no perfect, including our own family. This show has showed me that it is okay to not have the perfect family and be stuck with them because not everything that happens in this world is under our control.
Moreover, the time I watch this show was when I am almost at the end of my school-university-study life and about to face the real world. The trial-and-errors that Haley had and the meltdown that Alex had, all represent something that I feel during this specific period of time. Especially, Haley, her experience taught me that it is okay to not everything in my life figured out yet the moment you graduated from school and it is okay to not be financially independent immediately. All that matters is that you do not stop trying from pursuing your goals and dreams. Her experience has showed me that it is okay to not have the perfect woman life that fictional stories or media depict us.

Modern Family star talks scrapped Mitch and Cam spinoff

Modern Family star talks scrapped Mitch and Cam spinoff
Modern Family actor Eric Stonestreet thinks a scrapped Mitch and Cam spinoff would’ve been a hit.
Modern Family put a long-term gay couple on TV – Cameron (Eric Stonestreet) and Mitchell (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) – for 11 seasons until the sitcom finished in 2020. In a new interview, Eric Stonestreet has spoken about a sequel series that almost happened in the few years afterward.
It would have followed the lives of Mitch and Cam and their daughter, Lily (Aubrey Anderson-Emmons) after they left California and moved to Missouri.
“I don’t think it’s potential anymore,” Eric said in the chat with Graham Bensinger.
“They had their chance. [Series co-creator] Chris Lloyd and a couple of the writers wrote a really great script that spun Jesse and I off in our life in Missouri, and they said, ‘No.’
“They just said, ‘We don’t want to do it.’
“I love my character, I love the show, I love Jesse. We had a great working relationship. We had amazing chemistry.
“I think Jesse and I maybe felt like they thought of us as the old guys, or something like that, that didn’t seem worthy of keeping those characters going. It felt a little hurtful. But people make business decisions.”
‘I think we’d be on right now’
Eric Stonestreet said he thinks the show would still be on if they’d gone forward with it.
“I think it would have been a slam dunk,” he said.
“I don’t think it would have not been successful. Because you had one of the creators — who’d really taken such great care of making sure that show was great for so long — willing to do it.
“It wasn’t like two ancillary writers were just being like, hey, we’re looking for a money grab here.
“We had the right people in place. It would have been great. If ABC would have said ‘Let’s do it,’ I think we’d be on right now.”
Eric Stonestreet said it’s been a long time since Modern Family ended, but he hopes the cast eventually reunite.
“I wish we’d do a Christmas special,” he said.

KEEP ON KEEPIN' ON
This time around is a little different. I absolutely love music, especially rock, so I figured it was time to start showing my appreciating for a few musicians from some of my favourite bands. I tried to keep this list restricted to artists/bands specifically from this century. The Stokes predate the 21st century by two years, you'll have to forgive me.
Also this has more to do with the actual bands then the specific dudes listed below.
***The following 10 men/bands were selected simply because they were the first to pop into my head, and are presented in no particular order. These man are also not limited to or defined by the bands they are listed with.
Part Two and Part Three
Masterlist
1. Brett Emmons, the frontman for the Glorious Sons (2011-present).
I got to see these guys live pre-pandemic for their hometown show during the War On Everything tour.
Favourite song: Sometimes on a Sunday
2. Jesse Rutherford, the frontman for the Neighbourhood (2011-present?).
I'm not gonna lie, I don't know much about Jesse or the Neighbourhood. Adds a little flair to my playlist tho.
Favourite song: Sweater Weather
3. Fabrizio Moretti, the drummer for the Stokes (1998-present).
What can I say - nay - what more is there to say then these dudes are a total f*cking vibe.
Favourite song: Why Are Sundays So Depressing
4. Josh Kiszka, the frontman for Greta Van Fleet (2012-present).
I used to rag on these guys because of there clear cut influence from Led Zeppelin, but you know what? I grew up and realized its a f*cking compliment to be compared to arguable the best rock band to ever exist. They're not ripping off anything... Well maybe those outfits, but still, get over it.
Favourite song: Black Smoke Rising
5. Damiano David, the frontman for Maneskin (2016-present).
I can't speak a single word of Italian, but that doesn't stop me from trying to sing along... Sorry.
Favourite song: Torna a Casa
6. Alex Turner, the frontman for the Arctic Monkeys & The Last Shadow Puppets (2002-present & 2007-present).
I have no words for what this man's voice does to me. He looks so good I bet he sells like ghost cookies.
Favourite song: Piledriver Waltz &
7. Luke Spiller, the frontman for the Struts (2012-presest).
This mans exudes Freddy Mercury, Mick Jagger, and David Bowie vibes and I'm living for it.
Favourite song: Put Your Money On Me
8. Alex Espiritu, the bassist for Badflower (2013-present).
Honestly, I haven't been listening to these guys for very long but they sound very promising. Good soup.
Favourite song: Machine Gun
9. Jeff Kite, on keys for the Voidz (2013-present).
Here is some more honesty... I like the Strokes better, but these guys have there own thing going and I can't really complain.
Favourite song: Leave It In My Dreams
10. Marc Labelle, the frontman for Dirty Honey (2017-present).
These guys sound more old school then most of the other bands on this list. Still feeling 'em out, but they too are very promising.
Favourite song: Another Last Time
*** My "favourite songs" listed above constantly change at random - sometimes I can be real basic.
I don't claim to be the ultimate fan for any of these individuals or their respective band(s). But I do enjoy the little I do know about then :)
