I like both the dynamics of Shuichi x Kokichi and the dynamics of Kaito x Kokichi, but with regard to Kaito and Kokichi, I can never bring myself not to think that Kokichi was REALLY afraid of Kaito, and Kaito REALLY gave him a reason to be afraid of him

ponyboy definitely sneaks into darry’s room when he has nightmares, especially post book because the nightmares slowly dissolve from his parents dying to darry and soda dying and during those nightmares pony just really needs darry, so he’ll sneak into darry’s room and gently tug the pillow out of darry’s arms (darry’s a sleep cuddler argue with the wall) and pony will just nestle his way into darry’s arms and wraps himself around darry and just presses his head against his chest and falls asleep to darry’s heartbeat and other internal sounds because he needs to know his big brother is alive and okay

(bonus but darry always wakes up every time when pony does this but he never says anything, half for pony’s dignity and half because he’s so sleepy he doesn’t even register it-but some nights it’s real rough and pony starts panicking and he just sits up like “woah woah woah there, ponybaby-what’s wrong? you gotta talk to me, kiddo, i’m here…” and he NEVER gets mad at pony. ever. no matter how little sleep he gets. especially post book)

I think about how in fics there will be a scene where Yuji falls asleep and ends up into Sukuna's domain easily, but then in canon it's actually totally opposite and funnier.

Only twice Yuji ends up in Sukuna's domain. The first time is because he died (by Sukuna's hand, no less). The second time is because Sukuna pulls him in to tell him he's the "Fallen One".

Other than that, no other time.

In the fanbook, Akutami actually states that Yuji and Sukuna don't actually talk to each other and Yuji is a heavy sleeper.

It is reflected in the story because when Yuji does first make it into Sukuna's domain it's in July. The story starts in June. A whole month!

So, in between that time Yuji has not at all been in contact with Sukuna.

The times we have seen Sukuna come out (via summoning a mouth to speak) is just to taunt Yuji. Excluding when he confronts Gojo and to eat that finger, only twice Sukuna has came out at Yuji's "lowest" points.

That was the situation with Junpei and Mahito and after fighting the Cursed Paintings.

It just came to me that this is one of the aspects of Yuji being more of a cage than a vessel. He is strong enough to not fall into Sukuna's domain. He can prevent himself from going there unless otherwise.

He has to die or be pulled in by Sukuna, but I feel like that time Sukuna was able to do it because he was 16, yes 16, fingers strong.

This is when it became funny to me.

It made me realize that Sukuna would find Yuji boring because not only can't Sukuna break his resolve, but also... Yuji actively ignores him.

Yuji stated to Gojo in the first few minutes of being Sukuna's vessel that he's annoying. And what do you do when you're annoyed by someone? You ignore them.

He don't be asking him no questions, nothing.

Sukuna also brings his boredom on himself though. No one told him to sulk in his domain all day.

And, let's be real, out of the two, Yuji is the no-nonsense one. Yeah, Yuji has his moments of being silly, but there are times he has shown to not take nonsense by others.

Sukuna, on the other hand, is that guy who will do anything for a laugh. He's serious sometimes, too, but he can be a total goof.

I'm almost certainly sure that every time Sophie describes "that" smile Howl has that Lettie and his other past girlfriends have fallen for, he's actually just... smiling. No anger or moodiness, just a warm Howl's smile and nothing more.

But the whole story is that no matter how much she grumbles about how he shouldn't use his smile on all these people and what a jerk he is, the truth is that no one actually fell for it. Except for her. And no one finds that crooked grin all that attractive. Except for her.

I just think there’s something incredibly special about being a mage Hawke romancing Anders. All of the other companions find the mage plight annoying at the best of times and WRONG in the worst of times. Hearing their banter HURTS me sometime because hey… you’re saying all mages deserve to have Meredith imprison them because they’re all weak?? IM one of those mages you’re talking about! You think tranquility is fine? That’s ME you’re talking about??

The only one consistently fighting, consistently seeing mages as good and PEOPLE is Anders.

He’ll fight by putting his very life on the line for our freedom. Hawke is willing to throw away his home and be on the run again for their freedom.

I just think that’s really beautiful and really special.
