Here's another snippet from Chapter 1 of "A Lady's Guide to Love and Desire"

Renji looked down at his whiskey glass. “I haven’t thought too hard about it,” he admitted. “But I know for sure that I want a woman who loves me for who I am– someone who won’t judge me for being born a peasant.” A memory came to his mind unbidden– the lovely young woman he met only yesterday, while taking Hector for a walk. He found himself remembering her violet eyes, her curious smile, and how polite she had been towards him. Just who was that woman? Renji wished he had learned her name before leaving. But alas, all he could do now was hope that he could meet her again eventually. And when he did, he would make sure to learn her name.

We had even more people join in this year plus more people who speak even more languages! Thank you to everyone who still joined in even if you don't speak English or if there weren't translations weren't provided in your language ✨

I've been planning this for months now (basically since last years event ended) so I really hope that everyone had fun all week long!

Plus we even managed to trend the hashtag! That was absolutely amazing to see!

Once again I have to give thanks to some specific people!

A Lady's Guide to Love and Desire

When it comes to the social season, there is no greater asset for a gentle lady than her reputation. And there is nothing more damaging than a scandalous reputation. Seven years ago, Lady Rukia Kuchiki's marriage prospects were destroyed when her brother caused a scandal among the Ton. Now she is back in London, determined to find a husband for herself to avoid the Kuchiki elders arranging a marriage for her. When she crosses paths with Renji Abarai, the roguish new Viscount of Blackwood, Rukia is drawn to him like a moth to a flame. An unlikely friendship blossoms between the two, as they make a deal: Rukia must teach Renji the ways of high society. In return, Renji will court Rukia to make her more desirable to the Ton. Neither of them expect to develop feelings for each other. It just sort of happens.

Chapter 1: One Spring Day

Two young ladies, both with reputations marred by scandals, have returned to London for the social season. Seven years ago, Lady Rukia Kuchiki was the Diamond of the First Water, until her brother destroyed her marriage prospects by daring to love a commoner. Six years ago, Lady Orihime Inoue's debut was ruined when her father gambled her dowry away. Now, Rukia is ready to find a husband for herself, and Orihime is going to make her debut at the age of twenty-four. Perhaps this is going to be the most interesting season to take place in London...
