Hiii!! I did it!! I bring you woman!

I noticed a lot of people drawing jegbert with the zillyhoo for an october art thing,, and I was like hey! I did that a while ago!

I drew this a while ago but gave up on the zillyhoo after literally two hours straight of trying to get the geometry right, i just gave up lmao

But after seeing the upsurge in egbert fanart, it made me want to actually finish this and show you all!! So here it is! }:)

And also sorry it's traditional,, I tend to flip back and forth between mediums

I love when the selfship community is like 'omg imagine if you had a PLUSHIE of your f/o that would be SO cute' but in this economy if I had a plushie of my f/o it would look EXACTLY like this

And yes. I would absolutely buy it in a heartbeat and cuddle it every night and put little bows in its hair. And yes, those eyes are beads. Hit your siblings with them and hear their skull crunch.

Everything bad that ever happened in the canon, she's never really processed? If i had to guess

She's super stunted in her emotions and that's never really paid attention to in all the comic's years of running, just forcing her down this same cycle of bottle-it-up for eternity

(Warning! Im a selfshipper ehehe,, and homestuck tw since god damn its necessary with that comic, you dont have to read if you are uncomfortable with either of those things! Ty for letting me ramble though :) )

She's never once confronted all her trauma and everything horrible that happened to her and it's SO sad to think about,, the death of her father, literally the destruction of the entire world, having to spend three years just looking at that same color of god awful yellow

And if we're talking the epilogues and ^2, either she's a divorced father who just tries to make it by with a son who despises her, OR she's literally just dead. And her corpse is shoved in some chick's wallet in space.

A lot of my comfort when it comes to her is the thoughts of seeing her combat her fears and finally settling down to think through everything that happened in her childhood,, even if it takes years for her, I want to be there and give her the support she's needed for so long and that nobody gave to her

I don't want her to keep shoving everything down, she's so emotionally stunted that she doesn't even know who she is anymore, she's pulling her hair out to make sure all of her friends can stay alive because anything could happen at any given moment,, she's so tired and my heart aches for her honestly

Nobody's ever stopped to listen to her, she's never even had a resting moment to think about it,, she rambled with her sister in a frustrated rage but she only got annoyed with it

Even if someone offered to listen, I don't think she would go and pour her heart out anyway, she's not really like that? She'd probably shrug and just mumble that she doesn't know,, it'd take a long time of knowing and getting close to her to even dream about yanking all that out of her

I like to imagine slowly learning her body language and understanding when she's uncomfortable in a situation, or if she's starting to think about bad memories from the game,, i don't think you could 'fix her' or anything stupid like that, i just want to be there for her and let her know that she's seen and someone is there to listen to her

Everyone in canon just kind of sees her as this annoying ball of puberty when that's probably the last of her issues? She's so emotionally undeveloped, and at the rate her friendships are falling apart in her twenties, she'll stay that way for the rest of her seemingly immortal life, thinking that there's much more important things to worry about then how she feels and just feeling like an empty shell when there isn't

So so sorry, I'll shut up now lmao,, if you did get this far, get pranked, you just got john egberted

Hussie be damned, transitioning would've been a perfect milestone for starting her being able to finally focus on her own needs for the first time in her life

and i love him. hes the most perfect thing there is. its so crazy to be in the same universe as the creation of this weird little guy. im so lucky

Hello friends!! I just wanna post something that's not a reblog lol, but I think y'all would love to see me and all my friends running around as johns lol

It's super rare that I see anyone on vr use egbert avatars, but i'm always really grateful when they do,, idk, he's very stare-at-able,,

I'm really grateful for my friends as well, they're all such joys to be around even if I get super overwhelmed in big groups like this lol,, but being able to wear his avatar and his hood helps me calm down,, i swear to god that hood was such a good purchase, 10/10

But yeah hehe that's all I have right now, still egging my john till i bert, like usual

I should probably like.. draw or something but life has been rather eventful and i can't find any inspo for it,, but hey! We'll see!

It’s just occurred to me that, given my plans later on with the story

I will have to write Vriska… I have to write VRISKA SERKET interacting with OTHER spotlight stealers. Like, this isn’t Thief vs Thief ego beef, no no this is Vriska Serket not being the main character when she’s on screen.

I haven’t thought too much into how later acts will play out in regards to certain canon characters in dream bubbles interacting with the main characters of LSZ and oh FUCK the hypothetical Thief Meeting is going to SUCK

what do you mean I have to write Tredec, Noel, and Pre-Scratch Radiance interacting with Vriska… I already planned around Meenah bc of some LSZ beforan troll lore. But I completely forgot to account for VRISKA.

There’s also the obvious threat of Relevance Thief Vriska having to play second fiddle to the irrelevance destroyers Bria and Roxxas.

Prince Club is fine, I know Prince Club is fine. Anadyr gets along great with Eridan and Kurloz, “Mil” and Dirk didn’t show up simply bc I didn’t want to muddy the Beforan Trolls into A1 stuff and I am holding off on Dirk stuff until I get to Hal in the bubbles. Bria didn’t turn up yet simply bc that’s too confusing for A1.

I have no fucking clue how the hypothetical Bard club would function, like, Roxxas would be SO uncomfortable there.

I shudder at the thought of a Seer gathering bc why would Terezi be the least spoken one. That’s Rose, Kankri, Terezi, Flint, Clotro, and Pre-Scratch Blazebroker. That’s like, Terezi and the YAPPERS.

The Knights having an on screen meeting would be hell on my wrists bc Dave, Karkat, Latula, Noah’s Guardian, Pallas, and pre-scratch Leaden Liberator.

The Heir meeting would be chill af until I remember both of the Beforan ones… like Jegbert, Equius, Noah and Sieben are FINE. Mituna would be hell to write bc of his TQ but otherwise fine. Pre-Scratch Dreadnaught however… eugh they’d be so hateful and mean.

The Witches would have a lovely tea party I think, even if Damara were being her worst possible post-Meenah-and-Rufioh self. Jade, Feferi, Lily, Evelin, and Pre-Scratch Ageless would probably be able to keep the mood light and happy.

I’d get into the others but I’ve been yappin a lot already,, maybe another time.

This is just a post to share my collection of merch related to John/June Egbert since I got the Heir of Breath hood today, which is the blue in the back of these photos

Here it is!! This is everything I have john related or at least with john on it lol, I'll give y'all a tour

Here's the left side, I'll count the actual hood in here which is what I got today!! It's about 5'4 long and I LOVE IT it's so cozy,,,

To the far left is my breath t-shirt that I got with a comfort character package from etsy, which is also where I got that letter!! What's in it is for my eyes only ehehe,, and up top there is the john candle from Honey Weasel Candles!! I got it at SAHCon this year along with a lot of other candles and I love love love it, I highly recommend them for candle girlies

Those two little paper things are some stickers I got with the Heir hood today!! They're absolutely adorable, I don't wanna use them lol

And in the very center is my prized john keychain from Requiem x Homestuck 2023, I have all four of the kids from 23, but not any from 24 since I wasn't a huge fan of the artstyle

And that breath pin is another thing from etsy! I got it to wear on my work hat and I got some compliments on it lol, I have it since I'm a breath player but he is too, so I counted it

Also!! I didn't take any pictures of it specifically because I'm dumb but that 4/13 book is an art zine from my local convention this year!! I love the art SO much and I'd love to share it with y'all if you're interested!!

OH MY GOD I FORGOT MY BRACELET I WAS JUST ABOUT TO POST THIS HOW COULD I FORGET

This also came with my comfort character package with the shirt and letter!! The bells on it used to be pink and blue but they've worn down a lot now,, and one of the bells got crushed by wear and tear

This bracelet is my biggest comfort,, I never take it off and the jingles soothe my anxiety if I'm overstimulated,, I totally forgot about it because I'm wearing sleeves lol, but this is my prized possession,, along with my ancient mew pokemon card, but that's a collection for another day

A lady and her bird!! I loved the results from a selfship game I sent her into and I really wanted to draw her with the pokemon she got,,

I'm having ABYSMAL art block atm but drawing her helps me feel a bit better, at least enough to lazily scribble for half an hour before falling on the ground and melting through it like a sponge soaking up water
