On most days the fitness rooms in the basement of the Embassy were crowded after the workday and even during it. Monsters were encouraged to attend the available yoga classes, meditation hours, cardio jazz. Even Undyne’s infrequent krav maga classes were highly sought after, although in that case after the first class, one of the medical staff was always in precautionary attendance.

Wednesdays were an exception, the single day that was never on the public schedule. It was set aside specifically for the Security team and while anyone could make use of the training rooms throughout the rest of the week, on Wednesdays the classes were ones that would never be offered to the Monster populace at large.

On this particular Wednesday, the entire floor was empty as Edge walked through it. He was already in his workout clothes, his suit carefully hung in his office upstairs, and his gym bag only held clothes for him to wear home. He’d been making use of the training rooms frequently as of late, originally following his physical therapy instructions for his leg and after the kidnapping incident, as a way to exhaust the LV that occasionally flared up in his soul.

Not that he’d needed it very much. Despite the severity of that situation, his LV wasn’t troubling him as badly as it had in the past. Something to be grateful for and he was cautiously hopeful that this would be a trend going forward, that years without accumulating fresh LV was settling what he did have. He would never be able to shed it entirely but if it could be less troublesome, he would be grateful.

It was also possible his weekly visits to speak with his therapist were helping, loathe as he was to admit it. After pressuring Stretch to work with Dr Lee in the past, he was learning for himself that it was somewhat cleansing to talk to someone who only listened without judgement, someone whose opinion of him mattered very little. He was of two minds whether or not to bring that theory up to Stretch, much as he deserved his husband’s smugness…no. That was unfair, his own embarrassment casting Stretch in the wrong light, he knew better. As much as Stretch tried his best to talk to Edge about his own health issues, it was his responsibility to attempt the same. Stretch would only be relieved for him, he was sure. He was.

But that could wait for another time. Today he was testing a new design built for assisting in training the upcoming security recruits, with an emphasis on not only learning attacks but also how to finely control them. Any form of damage to a Human was highly discouraged and lethal attacks were always meant as an absolutely last resort. Before any recruit was allowed on even a trivial duty roster such as a crossing guard, they had to prove their skills at confinement rather than injury.

Edge was skilled in both, having trained since he was a child but in recent times, he could practically feel his skills atrophy the longer he sat at his desk. There wasn’t time to keep his reflexes as razor sharp as they’d been in Underfell and truth be told, it wasn’t necessary. Despite everything, this world was a much safer place to be. Logically, he knew that.

Illogically, his soul demanded he needed to be in top form to protect those he cared about. Not only Stretch, but both their brothers, Sans and Papyrus, Jeff and Antwan, all the children in New Home, and so many others. A part of him would always be the captain of the guard and the need to protect his people was deeply ingrained in his soul.

(And he couldn’t, couldn’t have protected all those in Underfell, an impossible task he’d nonetheless undertaken but he would not fail here, he couldn’t—)

This new setup was designed by a fresh-faced young inventor barely out of internship who’d somehow managed to get themselves assigned to Red’s team. Thus far, Edge had resisted the morbid urge to go through their files to see what atrocities lay in their past to make that a fitting post.

They’d come to Edge’s office in a lab coat still creased from the packaging, their lizard-like tongue flicking eagerly as they told him it was at Red’s suggestion Edge test it before they subjected the new recruits to the program.

Not that Edge couldn’t easily see through the paper-thin veneer of Red’s machinations. Whether this was a test of his physical ability after his injury, a trial to see if he was keeping up on his training, a way to help exhaust his occasionally troublesome LV, or perhaps all three, whatever Red’s intentions, it didn’t matter. His brother would keep his secrets and handle things his own way and the best Edge could do was keep up.

He did not allow this young, eager scientist whose name badge read only ‘D’ to see his sourness. They looked nothing like Stretch, but Edge was still reminded of him, a little. He didn’t know the details of why Stretch hated working within a proper lab, why he verged on panic even visiting one, preferring his own setup at their home. Perhaps someday Stretch would tell him, but Edge never wished to ruin that enthusiasm for anyone else, not if he could help it.

More surprising, and relieving, was that they did not ask to watch him test their design. Perhaps that was more of Red’s influence, knowing he was more likely to agree if he weren’t being gawked at. Recordings were to be expected but he had no interest in being a spectacle to a group of interns scribbling notes behind him.

Whatever the reason, Red’s newest disciple showed no sign of disappointment that they would have to get their results from the security footage. They only thanked him cheerily and told him he could try it out at the end of the day and that was exactly what he was doing.

At the very last room, he entered his passcode at the door and as he stepped inside the training room, it came to mechanical life around him.

It was a clever design, Edge would admit. The training dummies were on tracks that allowed them to move in startling ways and instead of bare padding, they were dressed as a Human might be. Well. They were dressed as a Human might be if they only purchased their clothes from the local thrift store by way of a head injury and Edge made a mental note to have them review Human fashion before releasing this as a general training tool. As important as it would be to be able to defend against a Human whose outfit consisted of sneakers and frilly lingerie, it was hardly a likely scenario.

Going through training exercises wasn’t precisely relaxing, but in a strange way it did soothe, scratching a kind of undefinable, nebulous itch. After so many years of training, dodging attacks and forming his own came down to pure reflex. There was very little real thought to it, he simply knew, and for this straightforward exercise, he could allow his body control as he moved automatically in something like a dance between each wave. There was a rhythmic back and forth between him and the training dummies, and there was an issue to report right there, a real attack should be more random, he should be less able to anticipate the moves of his opponent.

It would still be an effective training device for novices, but they would have to work much harder for it to be a genuine sparring tool for him. Not that anything could be more confounding than his own brother; even if they could somehow clone Red’s personality into their program, it was not a route Edge would recommend. Just thinking of an artificial intelligence based off Red gave Edge the urge to start hoarding supplies for the inevitable apocalypse.

Still, as a workout, it was more than effective. By the time the program ended, he was breathing hard, sweat stinging in his eye sockets and his t-shirt clinging to his ribcage. He raised one hand and the program immediately ended, the dummies moving back into their starting position.

As he walked to the bench by the door, he made a mental note to ask about what other safeguards they’d implemented. Not that he didn’t trust their design, but he knew a little about how scientists and engineers could get caught up, laser-focused on the outcome. Better to confirm than for anyone to end up injured, or worse.

Edge grabbed a towel from the bench and wiped sweat from his face as he mentally went through the design and the report he intended to write about it. He was intending to shower before heading home, absently looking up…and froze at what he saw through the breakproof glass.

Stretch was standing right outside the window, watching him. His sockets were huge, filled to the brim with the pale white of his eye lights.

He didn’t like violence, Edge knew that, knew about Stretch’s past, about what he’d been forced to do. These days Stretch didn’t even care for action movies and obviously he was appalled, horrified to see what damage Edge was capable of wreaking and perhaps he was imagining those attacks against frailer Human and Monster forms rather than training dummies. Wondering at what became of those from whom Edge acquired his LV; EXP hunters, all of them, but he’d never had a chance to tell Stretch that, never wanted to discuss it at all. Somehow, he’d always hoped he wouldn’t have to, that Stretch already knew. A Judge should know, shouldn’t he, he’d admitted to seeing Edge’s soul and while the idea still unnerved him, at least something useful could have come of it.

There was no way to guess exactly what Stretch knew and only one way to learn. Edge tossed the damp towel aside carelessly and hastily made for the door. Stretch turned to him as he came out, hands hanging empty and loose at his sides as he stood, making no move to reach for him as they so often did.

“Love?” Edge said, hating the slight tremor in his voice, “What are you doing here?”

“red told me i should come down,” Stretch whispered blankly, still staring at him with those wide, wide sockets. “oh, my god.”

Temper flared at his brother’s meddling, viciously tamped down because the expression on Stretch's face demanded his full attention. How much had he seen, what brutality did he now know Edge was capable of? Stretch knew he had LV, of course he did, had since the moment they’d met but the difference between knowing and seeing was astronomical, the distance between planets, galaxies.

Even when he’d used his attacks before, as recently as the incident with Jeff at the Golden Moon, Stretch had been distracted, not standing and watching at a ringside seat, staring, appalled perhaps even afraid and--

Edge swallowed hard, forcing calm as he asked, softer, “Rus?”

Stretch only repeated, squeaky and weak, “oh my god.”

“I understand what you saw was very violent but—“ it was necessary, he couldn’t say, the words choked off. An unfortunate necessity, this world was still a dangerous place for monsters, for Stretch, his skills needed to be sharp, surely Stretch could understand that, surely he could accept this side of him. He would never reje…he wouldn’t…he…

Edge grunted in surprise at the sudden weight in his arms as Stretch flung himself into them, his mouth hot and eager against his own. He couldn’t help a sound of his own, guttural and shocked between them before Stretch broke the kiss and instead dropped his chin to lick at Edge’s cervical vertebrae, tongue curling around the intricate bones, uncaring that Edge was filthy with sweat before he drew back, the diffused glow of his eyelights tinting to orange.

“oh my god,” Stretch practically moaned, “take me home right now and fuck my brains out.”

Edge could only blink at him, dazed and still holding him, hands braced under his femurs as he held all Stretch’s light weight against him. “What?”

“that was the hottest fucking thing i have ever seen,” Stretch breathed, the bright orange of his tongue running tantalizingly over his even teeth. “fuck me, the way you moved. You were just—” he gestured wildly, a ridiculous pantomime of a proper battle form, so enthusiastically Edge was forced to tighten his grip to keep from dropping him. “i need us to be naked together like, as soon as physically possible. now. immediately. yesterday.”

The heat of that visible desire finally broke through Edge’s shock and engulfed him, visceral and exhilarating in a way that no amount of exercise could hope to mimic.

There was a brief moment of honest temptation to simply take Stretch upstairs to his office. The only thing stopping him was the knowledge that the cleaning crew would know exactly why he was dragging his husband through the empty darkened hallways and even so, it took a reluctant mental debate to decide that tomorrow’s regret would outweigh tonight’s pleasure.

As it was, it was difficult to set Stretch on his feet though Edge kept hold of his hand, unable to keep from touching him in some fashion.

“Come on,” Edge said brusquely, only taking the time to grab his gym bag before leading the way to the elevator.

It seemed to take forever for the doors to close behind them, difficult to resist pulling Stretch back into his arms, but there were few places in the Embassy with any privacy and the elevators were not one of them.

It did not help that he could hear Stretch breathing raggedly, feel him bouncing restlessly on his toes, his grip tight on Edge’s hand. The knowledge that he’d watched what Edge was capable of and wasn’t disgusted, was instead enraptured was so very unexpected and the purity of his lust was nearly a physical force, battering at the iron gates of Edge’s control.

The sudden chime of his cell phone startled him, barely loosening the hold of growing desire. Edge fumbled his phone from his pocket with his free hand, unlocking it to read the new text.

cameras are off in there, boss, in case you wanted to know. might accidentally get stuck between floors if you ain’t careful

Edge closed his sockets, counting to three, then texted back. Do it.

They both jolted as the elevator came to a sudden halt, the lights dimming to the emergency overheads.

“what—” Stretch began, confused, only to yelp in surprise as he was suddenly scooped up and pressed against the wall, Edge crowding against him as he took his mouth fiercely. There was no hesitancy in the kiss, only eagerness, and a distant corner of his mind was grudgingly sending gratitude to his brother. Their unspoken ledger was definitely in Red’s favor.

Edge shifted to yank down the neck of Stretch’s sweatshirt. He pressed the sharp line of his teeth to the smooth, wide bone of Stretch’s sternum, barely on the side of too hard and felt him jerk, his hands scrabbling to pull Edge even closer.

His wordless groan for more, a conglomerate of consonants that made an approximation of “nggg!” was a delight, Stretch’s smoke-raspy voice was ever an enticement, growing louder as Edge slipped a gloved hand into his pants, watching his love’s expression tense, his sockets closing tightly. Beautiful, so beautiful always, even in the dim glow of the emergency lights. This would be only for him, Edge could wait for the privacy of their own bedroom, wanting his love bare and begging; there was time yet to allow that flame to burn ever hotter. More than anything in this brief moment, he wanted to watch Stretch’s face as he found his pleasure.

Edge would always have LV, but he could certainly appreciate a technique for soothing it that ended in his husband’s arms.

It's the one that needed one of the most drastic redesigns, iiiiiit's Papyrus! Think of him like he's Vinyl Scratch, but he talks.

BECAUSE IT'S COOL. - Pap and PJ get along quite well. Pap could do without PJ's bad jokes, though. - Undyne and Pap are very intense when it comes to fighting techniques, even though Pap has admitted that he's too nice to actually do harm to anyone. - Papyrus has moments of being a bit airheaded. Like the time he tried to put a beauty product behind his ears.

Can the spirits in Tall tale possess humans?

They thankfully cannot lol. Specifically because it would cause problems lore-wise.

There are vengeful spirits who want Frisk dead for whatever reason that they would have to inevitably face (like Vengeful Undyne for example). But if any of the spirits were able to possess humans… Frisk would stand absolutely no chance against them as they could just posses them to kill them and such without any fight back, vengeful or otherwise.

Not to mention in the Genocide route, Frisk goes and kills the spirits (well, whatever it’s called when a spirit dies forever lol). So Asriel in this route takes CC’s place basically and is the person trying to kill Frisk instead of CC in order to stop them (as CC becomes actively afraid of you in this route after Frisk fights back, cutting a huge chunk off their soul (it’s a long story… I’ll explain it eventually lol)). If spirits were able to posses humans, Asriel could just possess Frisk and make them stop killing everyone, or any spirit could have done it for that matter.

So ye! No spirit possession thankfully! The only character in this AU that Possesses another character is Crimson and him slowly yet continuously being able to take over CC more and more throughout the story! Till of course, CC becomes fully corrupted and Crimson is able to use them as their vessel completely! Completely taking over their body, mind, and soul (and all that other jazz lol).

Monster Species Themed Headcanons

I've noticed a lot of monster species are animal-based, so I imagine they also display the characteristics of animals too. Even the monsters that AREN'T animals have unique traits and instincts that I want to write down.

Monsters that aren't animalistic might be able to pick up animalistic traits due to the vast amount of the population being animals or animal-based.

Dog monsters are a bundle of animal instincts that are just BARELY contained. The dog battles in Snowdin basically explain it all. They're extremely susceptible to giving into their instincts, especially when pets and sticks are involved.

Cat monsters are similar in this regard. I like to think Burgerpants and Catty act a lot like cats when they aren't selling things. Burgerpants in particular would sleep pretty much anywhere.

As a fish monster, Undyne is an extremely good swimmer. She also keeps a container of fish flakes with her when she's going on a workout as a little snack. She has a secret stash of them in her room somewhere.

Once, Alphys got her tail caught in one of her machines, and in her struggle to pull it out, she accidentally pulled it OFF. Don't worry, it grew back, but she was anxious to go outside for a while because she was very self-conscious of her walk when she's tailless.

Asgore, Toriel, and Asriel bleat like goats when in a state of strong emotion, mostly fear.

In fact, pretty much every animalistic monster makes the sound of their respective animal (unless the animal in question doesn't have a distinct sound)!!

As for non-animals, they have distinct features too, like ghosts are doing their canon ghost things.

Skeletons rattle A LOT, especially when in a high mood. In my headcanon, rattling basically functions a bit like a cat purr. If you get close enough, you can tell that their ribcage and upper spine vibrate a lot when they're rattling. In addition, since skeletons in the media are often associated with music and jazz, I like to imagine skeletons naturally have high musical intelligence, and they'd pick up instruments very easily. And yes, they can take off their limbs too, but only when it's practical (or for fun!).

Okay so I am definitely saying this in a time where Gaster, The Mystery Man, is so unknown lol. That said, I was normal about him until I saw the not-released tarot card for him. Then I started reading fic as a joke and it all went downhill from there. And. Ok. I know we don't know ANYTHING about him, so me saying fandom takes are incorrect isn't quite fair, but I have a hard time thinking he's just 100% evil. Especially if he's a monster - made out of hope and love and all that jazz. Not saying that monsters can't do bad things (LOOKS AT ASGORE) but there's a lot that goes into that. Asgore did bad things because he was put in a bad situation, lost his family, and wanted to help his people. Alphys wanted to help people, but wound up doing bad things, too. I feel like a lot of fic and content I see for Gaster is just about him being super mega evil and Fucked Up which is fine but, like, for why? What made him act that way? I also love the idea of him just being an absolute goof. A real "Sans had to learn puns from someone" type character. And idk it's hard to have canon content about a character that uh erased themselves from existence lmao. That being said I'm not normal about him. I have 3 full fledged fanfictions about him - two I've started writing and one that I visit when I try to fall asleep and haven't written yet. If he is 100% evil that's fine load me up in the extractor baby I'm subject 01.

Snas

In the same way that I relate too well to Dante as being the haha funny pizza man as a coping mechanism to not acknowledge his own fear and depression, I relate WAY TOO WELL to Sans Undertale for the same reason. If my depression gets too bad and all encompassing I'm going to take a nap. While I used to have a healthy love of naps, they're now also coping mechanisms to avoid reality for me. Back when my anxiety and depression pretty much took over my life I would sleep forEVER. 18 hours a day if I could. I now also struggle with insomnia and sleep avoidance so it's like. I sleep in small amounts now and it's gotten to the point that I will 100% use my 15 minute breaks and my lunch to take a nap. The laid back jokey personality is very much who I am truly, but then there's also the Projection where I use that as a facade to avoid my problems/emotional trauma. And I'd say Unwillingly I have come around to him because, as I'm sure you know, in the beginning I was like I don't get this Undyne is the only hot character here what's going on why do people want to fuck this dude. And then I finally watched a play through and learned Everything and I'm like oh no he's so saaadd poor meow meow :((( sad boyyy sad!!! tragic!!! (and then The Fight happens and it's like oh uh hmm not examining my reaction to this bc i don't want to know what this says about me) Then I started reading fanfiction as a joke which ok can I say a lot of blorbos for me have come from me reading fanfic as a joke and then getting super into it??? LMAO. And now I've given myself the challenge to read as many sans/reader fics on AO3 that catch my interest and I still have 274 pages left lmAO.

Handsome Jack

Put him in more situations. Destroy him. I love him. I hate him. The reality is he could make me SO MUCH WORSE. He's handsome. He's a loser. I want more of his face to melt off. I want to chew on him like a chew toy. Jack is such a fun character to hate. He has so much charisma it's sexy but he's also so unhinged and, like, there's never been an option to fix him. I think he was born and from that moment on it's just been a collision course with absolute fuckery. He's such a caricature of a human, and if you're not the receiving end of his insanity it's so fun to watch.

Nisha

I love her. I want her to destroy me. BL2 said we need a character who can go toe-to-toe with Handsome Jack in terms of being an absolute disaster of a human being and then they delivered the most badass cowboy hat wearing woman they could. She is 1000% too good for Jack, and arguably Jack happening to her ruined her life. Rhys

My sweet precious Rhysie boy. ;-; He's so pretty and so stupid I love him so much. I really feel like BL3 fucked him up in terms of characterization. The absolute trials we go through in Tales with him and just. Stop!! putting him in situations!! I lie lmao I need a follow up of Tales where he is put in another situation with Fiona so we can see what the fuck all happened there.

So I have Ideas now for an AU Concept from this image alone Bear with me.

Imagine Betatale (an Au I heard about with everyone looking and Acting Like their Beta Selves) but like Ts!Underswap.

Sounds ridiculous but Hear me out. Imagine in this reality The Monster Human War happened but Monsterkind Population was Cut in half: The criminals, who were Banished into the titular Mountain and Underground. And the Innocents those who wished to not provoke war and Signed documents saying they only wish for peace and all that Jazz. The Innocent monsters get to live their days on the surface with Humans which include a Sentient Sword and an Enby Teenager named Frisk.

The pair have a Dynamic that’s a Mix of Susie and Kris, Koffin-K and TS Chara, and Zoro and Mihawk. Pair of Dumbasses that like to Spar and put on a Show. One day the sword, Let’s call them Lam (pronounced like Lamb minus the B) and Frisk feel weirdly Drawn to the mountain Frisk more then Lam and decide to go explore it inevitably Falling in the Hole and that’s where the Story Begins.

The Characters in Undertale are like their Official Counterparts albeit a Bit Distorted specifically on their level of hate towards Humanity.

Absolutely Depsises Humanity: Most NPC Monsters that aren’t of the main Cast, The Ghosts not including Mettaton, Muffet, RG1&2, Grillby.

Neutral on Humanity: Asgore, Sans, Flowey, Gerson and the other shopkeepers, Gaster, Alphys (but you could say that about her and talking to literally anyone but the monsters closest to her like Sans Undyne And Mettaton), and NPC’s in New Home and Ruins.

Like Humanity: Undyne (She thinks they are really cool cause of Anime but still follows her duty as a Royal Guard), Papyrus, Some Members of Mettatons fan club (aka like 4 Hotland NPC’s), Mettaton himself, Mad Mew Mew (Character development/Mad Dummy wants a Round Two in this reality) Toriel.

Depends on the Individual to List: The UTY cast (Depends on what Beta Clover did. Does not include Chujin as I feel like he’s more neutral in this Beta Reality), Suzy (will cement herself in liking humanity after meeting Frisk), The Gaster Followers, Red (I don’t care I will count her as well), Temmies, Kappy (aka Kount Koffin-K but before He became a Bad Guy but since there is no Crossbones there can’t be a Kount so his “Beta” is him pre Super villainy. It’s my AU concept and I can add whoever I want Bite Me), Harry and Larry, Asriel, Chara, Kris (This one is a kind of a Joke but also I think Canonically Kris would try and get some Monster Scientists to make a Human to Monster Hormone Replacement Therapy Treatment. So thats what they would be doing in this Beta Reality and are a separate entity to Frisk)

Other things would include frisk having the unused Magic Action thanks to Lam, The time this would take would be during a Festival happening in the Underground, Robots 98 and 100 being part of a Robotics line Alphys Makes based on the Axis Line of the Late Chujin serving to help Repair the Core when Needed though they mostly just mess around, there would be like 28 other Robots to be seen ranging from 14-700 with a Gaster follower one being labeled 666, and Frisk’s Journey would be to Figure out what Catalyzed the Human monster war and unravel a several Century conspiracy of who actually started it, and if Half of Monsterkind deserved to be Banished.

Also it would be split into a few “Chapters” with a Prologue in the Town Frisk come from interacting with the Humans and Monsters living there getting some context to this reality. Each chapter is dedicated to each Zone and there would be multiple endings much like OG Undertale

Also why they are Friends with a Talking Sword Monster…that one stray pixel makes it look like it has an Eye and a random Tumblr Post gave me that Idea.

mk so ya’ll, I’ve been thinkin bout a new undertale au(I already have one but this is sorta a prequel to it/a possible prequel to undertale- both my main ut au and ut are pretty similar so it could be interpreted as a prequel to both/either one)(also yeah I have that lackadaisy au that im still figurin out but shh, I’ve already started to make some of the lackadaisy cards for some of the ocs so its not gonna disappear from my mind or anythin like that, this au is just a new ide- ….im rambling on lmao)

:ahem: so, basically, it follows the journey of the integrity soul- who ironically i made be an au version of mia “mimi” magne-esemais(i changed her and miele’s last name to have “magne” in it, it sounded cool when i heard of that last name the first time so i decided to use it)- aka a 12 y/o girl named mia, who has interests in stuff like ballet, for example. somehow she managed to accidentally trip on a vine and fall down into the underground, causing her to have to find a way back home. she meets flowey while trying to figure out the first puzzle in the ruins, and befriends him- (and after a few puzzles and a tutorial or sum)eventually reaching the ruined city(yknow, the big city in front of the balcony where you find the toy knife? the name is a placeholder since I haven’t really thought bout it much yet but it sounds pretty good to me tbh) to find a way out of the ruins, considering the only other way would be through toriel’s house. i forget if anybody actually lives in that city or not, or even if there’d even be a way to snowdin from there, but this au probs takes place in the 80s or 90s, considering UT and my UT AU take place sometime in the 2010s- hence meaning that things could’ve changed after mia died. but anyways.. she’d probably be able to gain the ability to save either once you get there, or after meeting flowey. either one works.

after reaching the ruined city, there’d be a some shops, npcs, and all of that jazz- but the whole “acting buying items” thing wouldn’t really be accessible until after they leave the ruins, considering mia would have no money(or not much money, depending on if monsters will attack her before she reaches the city or not, since that depends on when she gets to save). besides, she has more important things to do! …..like getting chased by some royal guards(despite having a.. “disguise”.. which is just the hood of mia’s hoodie), befriending a few monsters maybe, and meeting toriel right as she and flowey are about to leave the ruins. said goat mom takes her(for some reason, flowey hides himself from her.. hm) back to her home before she manages to get herself into any more trouble, and mia doesn’t exactly mind staying with toriel for a second.. but after a day or so flowey convinces her to sneak off to get back on track- so they both leave the ruins in the dead of the night by usin the downstairs exit to snowdin. (though there could possibly be a boss fight in ruins? maybe one of the guards or sum, dunno yet. if anybody has ideas, im open to em.)

i haven’t really figured anythin out past that point yet, but i had an idea for the (old- like.. before undyne. well probs before the person that was before undyne but you get the point) captain of the royal guard, who eventually mia tries to plead with to go home- but obviously that doesn’t happen, considering that mia starts to get chased round by the captain(I don’t have a name for her yet, but what I do know is that she could possibly be related to two of my ut ocs who are also in my ut au. like.. maybe a great-aunt or sum, and since those two ocs are arctic-fox-based monsters, that’s what the captain would be) all the way to waterfall, and eventually they get into a boss fight. the captain manages to die, however. not through mia, but moreso through an accident that happened during the fight. if you’re curious on how the captain would be like, kinda think of adam from hazbin hotel, but like… more smarter, not sexist or stuff like that, and nicer(or at least way more polite). the reason why the captain knew of mia’s existence was the events that happened in the ruins, and her sighting in snowdin.

anyways- eventually mia could possibly meet gaster(or at least whoever the royal scientist before alphys was), maybe??? dunno, but ik eventually she would die during the fight with asgore ofc. she also has a bit of a design change while in waterfall and hotland; in waterfall she takes off her tutu and ballet shoes to run better(she has an extra pair of shoes tho dw), and in hotland she wraps her hoodie around her waist(her shirt is really just one of those ballet leotard thingys lol- she also wears ballet tights, but they’re sorta more like leggings/more durable n stuff), considering it’d be pretty hot with it on(but she probably puts it back on after reaching the core or new home- and speaking of new home, she probably gets to explore the city, too). whenever she has her hoodie on, she puts her hair down, too- but its not too relevant so :shrug:

do ya’ll like this au so far, tho? i think it might be pretty interesting, and could possibly get its own fan-game one day, if i can manage to get people to help me(but first, I’ll probably write bout this and/or draw a comic, which both are things I’d do for my other ut au).

btw, if ya’ll have suggestions for any sort of ideas(like name ideas for the captain, or things that could happen, for example), I’d be glad to hear em 👍

(also, adding onto that- im unsure of what the au should be called. for now it’s “UnderTale Blue”, but I’m also thinking of “UnderSoul Blue” for my UT AU, “UnderBlue”, “BlueTale”, and “BlueSoul”. but maybe it(and possibly the game itself) could also be sum ballet-related?? dunno- but if you guys could help me with that, I’d appreciate it :D)

(EDIT; the fallen-children order thingy(well, the order of the 6 children) is currently this(note; each of the 6 human souls died in at least a week or two(maybe longer if they were lucky) after they fell, most likely);

Perseverance fell first, in the early-to-mid 1920s.

Bravery fell a few years later(still in the 1920s, just late 20s).

Then, Patience falls in the 1940s or 50s.

Kindness falls in the 60s(maybe 70s?).

Mia/Integrity falls sometime in the 80s or 90s. I was thinking possibly 98, so that she’d be born in 86(i could also make the year of Mia’s fall 95 or 99… to reference obvious things lmao)… just because i like the number lol.

Justice falls last, about a year later(as a reference to UnderTale Yellow, since Integrity fell right before Justice).
