I’d like to think Jay and Nya are very funny because they are both mechanics, but in entirely opposite ways:

Nya has all her tools in proper order. In her workshop, there is never any scrap part going unused. Any notes and blueprints since the ripe age of 12 have been carefully stored and saved, no matter how much she cringes when looking back on them. The Samurai X designs and revisions have their own file cabinet as well as digital backups. Her measurements are double and triple checked, even though she probably had it right the first time. Every choice she makes is calculated and buffed out, from the interlocking gears to the paint job. She prides on her work on being practical and aesthetic, thank you very much.

Jay, meanwhile, is the definition of fuck around and find out. Blueprints? Who needs em, anyways? The only thing vaguely resembling “notes” in his work area are scrap pieces of paper with the most round-about mathematics ever (complete with indecipherable short-hand and a stick figure drawing of Jay holding a blowtorch, naturally.) He will change up plans on the fly and casually stick his hands in very sharp moving parts like there is no tomorrow. Safety equipment? He grew up in a junkyard. He had a wrench in his hand before he could walk. Yeah, no, he’s pretty sure he’s fine, thanks.

The least hear me out you've ever heard me out

but just Jay and Nya becoming some form of primary mentors or if you want to, have them as adoptive parent (that is after the inevitable memory gain) to Sora specifically

Nya already was paired off with her a lot during season 1 of DR

All three know the struggle of intense identity issues for years.

Both adults felt abandoned by their parents, either while as a child or after finding out later in life despite either hoping or knowing it was for their own good. And Sora was disowned by her own parents, their beliefs chosen over her.

They could both comfort her after losing Arin (assuming he isn't found already) because they know what it's like to lose a best friend after making the wrong descisions that felt right in the moment e.g Jay beating up Cole out of jealousy or Nya considering other options even when in a relationship because she was second guessing her choices. (Just the entire love triangle thing. I so believe that Jay was Nya's best friend outside of her brother when she moved in, even when they were dating and I'm dying on that hill because of the little screen time she gets with anyone that isn't those two, or a ten year old that more becomes her little brother and an old dude.)

Lessons could be given over building tech or fixing cars. They even have little competitions to see who could do the best original work or make the most improvements to an old one.

Jay has the most extensive weapon catalogue and could help her choose which primary one she would like to work with. As well as maybe try to expose her to several of his many side hobbies.

Nya can teach her how to deal with perfectionism and not feeling strong with your own element in those times that Sora's still having doubts about her capabilities despite being tournement champion.

Maybe they can try teaching her spinjitzu outside of Lloyd's scheduled training and show what worked for them (It's definetly helpful that one of them was the first to learn it.)

I'm not saying once she achieves it they both would be like "whoo, I taught her that!" but they totally would.

like imagine how proud they would be once she goes from learning spinjitzu to reaching her full potential after working through whatever her primary issue is (I still don't know exactly maybe it would be something to do with a need to fix things or take over because you don't have the fullest faith in the capabilities of others and learning to trust others to do it or fix the issue themselves. It's been a long time since I've seen season 1 so just spitballing with what season 2 gave me)

I have a vision and I hope I'm making it very clear.

I like this vision very much.

If you want try throwing in a wlid Jordana.

However it's quite hard when someone made her possessed the entire time Jay was with the wolf clan and we didn't have him interacting with anyone that isn't Ras.

Yes I'm still salty even if I've known for months. The lost dynamics can never be salvaged into canon.

As a jaya fan, my initial reaction to the Jay description leaks.

If Kai and Skylor does ever get married, does Sky take Kai's last name afterwards? Like to dissociate from her dad's reputation? And does the others foes that too ? ( Jaya, Pixane, Aftershock )

Well here's my general thoughts on that

Skylor would take Kai's name (if they were to marry)

Jay and Nya hyphenate

Zane and Pixal don't get "officially" married, thus keep their names

Cole and Jesse also keep their names for personal reasons, but when it comes to Cam she gets part of Cole's last name as her middle name (similar to Lloyd with Koko) and Jesse's last name officially

Pairing: Agathario x Daughter!Reader Warnings: Mentions of bullying

“Mama? Mami?” the six year old calls out into the dark bedroom. It was about midnight. The moon shining through the cracks of the blinds. The girl had been put to bed hours ago but had woken up a little bit ago. Agatha wakes to her arm being shaken. She quickly turns on the small bedside lamp as she takes the small girl into her arms. Rio wakes at the movement having never been a light sleeper.

“Niña?” Rio says softly as she looks over to see her daughter in her wife's arms. There are small tears running down your cheeks as you look over at your mami. 

“Am I a freak?” Both women are taken back by your question looking at each other to see if they knew what you were talking about. They were both fully awake now Rio reaching out to brush your hair from your face and the tears from your eyes as Agatha gently rocked you.

“No baby no. Why would you think that?” Agatha asks as her hands rub up and down your back.

“The girls at school. They say that I’m a freak because of how I look because-” You pause in your sentence as you look up at Rio and immediately she understands what you mean. You had taken most of Agatha’s features. Your hair being a wavy brown and eyes a baby blue. Head to two you were like a mini version of her all except one aspect. You hadn’t learned to control the transformation yet. How to stop the bones that appeared out of nowhere. Out of all things Rio wished you wouldn’t have gotten that part of her. “They say I'm disgusting. That I shouldn’t be alive.” You whisper as you bury your face in your mama’s chest. 

“My darling, you are not disgusting or a freak, you are beautiful.” Agatha speaks as she looks to Rio. She can tell that her mind is racing. That she’s blaming herself. They had always feared you would get made fun of for it. Rio feared you would grow to despise her for it. That you would blame her for not being able to be fully normal. It’s part of the reason they had enrolled you in a school specifically for witches. They thought that maybe the kids would go easier. But it seemed that wasn’t happening.

“Do you think mami is a freak?” Agatha asks, causing both of your heads to turn at her wide eyed.

“No! Of course not.” You answered quickly as your head turned to look at Rio. Your tiny hands reached for her. Trying to show you didn’t think that. “Mami is pretty.” Rio’s heart melts at your words.

“Rio shows her.” Agatha says and Rio knows immediately what she’s asking. Rio had only shown you her true form a handful of times. Scared that you would think she’s a monster. With a deep breath the bottom part of her face turns into bone.

“Do you still think Mami is pretty?” Rio waits silently. Her nerves grow but quickly melt the second you bring a hand up to touch the bone.

“Yes.” You answer with no hesitation. Rio takes your hand in hers holding it tightly before changing back and pressing a kiss to your hand.

“That’s right. Mami is beautiful even when she looks like a skeleton and you my love are too. If mami is beautiful then so are you because you look like her. My skeletons.” A laugh escapes your lips at your mama’s words. Rio shares a smile with you both before a smirk overtakes her features. Moving quickly she plucks you out of Agatha’s lap and lays down with you trapped in her arms. Agatha joins in quickly, her hands tickling you as you squirm and try to get free.

Tomorrow they would have a talk with your principal and find out who was saying this stuff to you. Tomorrow they would continue to remind you that you are beautiful and loved.

Jaya heard a crack. Something was wrong. The press of her mask was gone from her forehead, but she couldn’t see right on her left side, like something was blocking her vision. Jaya raised a hand to move whatever it was and felt jagged pieces of—her mask?—wet with—

Actually, there was something dripping down the side of her neck as well, soaking her uniform. Jaya held her hand up again to see what it was; her hand was red, and sticking with small cuts.

Her head erupted with uncentered pain. Jaya collapsed.

was visiting my friend nearby, so we came here for lunch, and it’s just beside jaya grocer which is a really convenient location. the menu has quite a lot of choices, rice bowls and pasta and breakfast dishes, and a variety of coffee and drinks selection too.

i ordered the big breakfast and iced americano since i do enjoy a good big breakfast. the portion is definitely big enough for me, the scrambled eggs is quite fluffy and cooked just nice. the bacon bits on top is crispy too. the bread is quite thick and heavy which would fills you up.

my friends ordered the rice bowls, the taste is nice but on the salty side, so the flavor is quite heavy. overall dining experience was alright, it’s a good spot for convenient food, it’s not crowded or noisy, so that’s really nice.
