That time of year again, where I redraw this dude 🤲🏻💜

I focused a lot more on his fangs, and making his mouth style “work”, with my art style.

Kooky’s most recent redraw of Jax, made me think of a dragon, kinda, so I found myself leaning pretty heavily into reptilian-ish characteristics. (although there actually are none, aside from the way his fangs look): More defined fangs, slits for pupils, versus more mammalian ones. It makes him look a bit less friendly, and kinda “fairytale” creepy, but honestly, I kinda like it! Suits his personality.

I also gave him his pants back (to stay truer to the original character design)

I want to write horror.... bit like I can only write angst and I mainly do fanfic ;-;

But I do have two ideas for a horror story, something with hungry sirens and the other with ghosts. For the siren story, it's kinda odd. Basically, these people got stranded, made a deal with something, and became sirens. And now they're hungry and want revenge because they were abandoned. Can you really blame them, even if you're their next meal?

And for the ghosts, I'm trying to decide between two things. But either way, they're dead and want to 'save' the next victims. Will the monster be human or supernatural? Because I could do a mixture of the two. But I think I'm going to make the monster a human. Because it'll be more interesting imo.

what dou think of my OC and how do you think he would interact w/ Artemis and the others?

Name: Jaxalope R. Jemison Age: 14 (usually depends on RP/story line). Height: 5'2.5" Species: Neko (used to be fully human). Personality: Kind, Nervous, Hotheaded sometimes, Helpful. Magic Abilities: Shapeshifting (look fully human or fully cat, can turn into a fox), Weapon Summon (can grab scythe, knives, or daggers out of thin air), Exploding Crystals (fire, water, ice, etc...), Shadow Control, Glamour, Portals (1-3 a day). Weapons: Scythe, knives, twin daggers. Items they almost always have with them: Infinity Backpack, Pens and Pencils (in pocket), Sticky Notes and a Mini Journal (In pocket). Weaknesses: Using too much Magic, Their own magic against them, Too trusting sometimes. Fears (and disorders): Trypophobia, Coulrophobia, Trypanophobia, Athazagoraphobia, Obsessive-compulsive disorder, Bipolar Depression, Social anxiety disorder.
