He prepares for you an ayurvedic drink. Depending on your symptoms, he will choose the right recipe. He makes sure you drink all of it, so don’t even try to argue. It’s a waste of time, this man is too stubborn.

Jataka provides everything you need, he even brings you a book to read or he reads to you himself. He is cautious and keeps his distance, but that doesn’t stop him from being very strict: he makes sure you drink enough water and that you’re warm.

Every time he checks if you have a fever, he caresses your cheek with his finger before moving away. It's the only physical thing he can do right now to show you his affection.

Buddha

His first reaction is to tell you to lie down. It doesn't seem to bother him, because it’s just the flu. He had it when he was human, it’s not a big deal, especially if you have everything you need right under your nose. But secretly it eats him up inside, to the point where he can no longer eat sweets. So he shows up on your doorstep with his very casual attitude and starts asking questions. He checks if you’re hydrated, if you have a fever, if you need anything.

Buddha was born in present-day Nepal, so he follows ayurvedic… a little. He knows it’s not 100% effective, but he still finds some methods solid. He would make you brew containing honey, tusi leaves and lemon juice, and force you to drink it. It’s the best for the flu in his opinion.

Let’s be honest, Loki probably isn’t the best person to take care of a sick person. Buddha (alter)

Oh? Did you do this for him? How sweet of you. But can you put some good candies on it? This is the kind of offer that interests him.

Buddha mocks you a bit about this whole thing. Nothing serious, of course, but he finds your altar amusing. He used to be a prince, he is a god now, and he still doesn’t care much about sacrifices, gifts, prayers, bows… everything that people do for those they consider superior over themselves. It’s just not his thing.

At some point he will tell you he doesn’t need it. He wants you to waste your time not on your alter, but on him. But once again - bringing the candies as an offering is never a bad option.

But do you remember that he is the strongest among the Norse gods?

He doesn’t need luck to win his fights, but once you point out that he might need it for other stuff, Thor will accept the gift.

He keeps it in his private chambers, in a safe place. Far from Loki’s hands (But let’s be honest, Loki will find out somehow anyway). Thor checks it every night before sleep, except when you share a bed with him.

He thinks you’re adorable with your little spells.

Apollo (alter)

The alter for him! Made by his sweet s/o! How lovely, how wonderful!

His narcissistic side is very pleased to see how much time and work you put into making something just for him. Apollo takes his time admiring the work of your hands. He asks questions about details and compliments profusely.

If he found out by accident and you’re embarrassed, don’t worry. Apollo wouldn’t mock you. BUT he may mention your little secret to Ares or Hermes (he’s so proud of you) and they might sneak in a few snarky comments.

Shiva

At first, he doesn't understand what you're doing when you communicate with him using sign language.

He's aware that some people are deaf or hard of hearing, but hasn't met someone who is.

One of the first things he asks you is if you can teach him. (My heart, my soul)

He's quite slow at first but gets good at it after a while.

He always remember to talk slowly, just so you could read his lips.

He introduces sign language to his family and pantheon. You told him he didn't have to, but he insisted.

He gets angry at those who act rude to you because of your condition.

But overall, he enjoys learning from you.

"So this hand sign means 'hello' right? Good, just want to make sure that I'm on the right track."

Buddha

This man...My heart can't.

He learnt sign language before he met you, but still decides to learn from you instead.

According to him, it's better to learn from you than anyone else.

You can't convince even if you try. (Just don't.)

Whenever the two of you are watching something, he always puts subtitles just for you.

He abuses the ability to use sign language against people, by saying the most horrendous things to people when using sign.

You often scold him, but there's no use since he always does it again.

Nonetheless, he is always there for you.

Adam

I won't apologize for having bias for him.

Just like Buddha, he learns sign before he gets to know you, but is happy to learn from you.

He also gently corrects you, if you're wrong.

He knows how ignorant people are, *the gods*, about those who are hard of hearing or deaf.

So, he always defends should anyone acts rude to you.

He's ready to throw hands.

He is very proud of the fact that you prefer to use sign than using your phone to talk him or anyone.

Like Shiva, he teaches his family as well.

He tells his sons to personally take care of anyone who us rude to you.

At first, he's very concerned about your condition. When he learns that you do sign to communicate with others.
