Now that the mainline comics are technically over (though it's comics, so I'm not sure how accurate that statement will remain) it's time to put this up.
My favorite boys, Skull and Billy, from both OG, convention pieces, the Boom! Comics MMPR, GGPR, and MM.
Maybe one day I'll make this into a proper web weave...but for now, I just wanna look at them~

TIL that Jason Narvy, the portrayer of one Eugene Skullovitch, is a classically trained Shakespearean actor.
That is so cool!

I think that Paul Schrier and Jason Narvy will play Grint and Aresko while Ria Vanderis Will play Arihnda Pryce in Darth Vader miniseries

i am rewatching power rangers turbo (pretty passively, it's on my second screen at work while i do actual job things), and while it's never going to be my favorite season, i'm not feeling the active distain that has made me avoid the rewatch for the last 10ish years. it's not great, but when the new cast arrives, i'll be 100% bought in again... i remember that being such a breath of fresh air.
that said, it's pretty objectively funny that they had paul schrier and jason narvy do adr for the bloopers when the chimps on set where goofing around (why oh, why, did they ever put live chimps on the power rangers set).

okay, was anyone gonna tell me that Johnny Yong Bosch, Jason Narvy, and Paul Shrier all stared in a stand alone action movie, or was I just supposed to run aground of that by sheer accident????

@shinobicyrus replied:
Oh God I completely forgot about that weird arc. What do you think was going on behind the scenes that the show just decided to replace two actors with Chimpanzees for 15 entire episodes?
I have no idea, but according to his IMDB page, Paul Schrier – the guy who plays Bulk – is credited as director for three of the sixteen episodes in which he voices a chimpanzee, so it must be a fun story.
(Oddly, Jason Narvy, the guy who played Skull, also appears to have an assistant director credit, though not for any of those episodes.)
My local network habitually aired Power Rangers episodes all out of order when I was a kid – we were lucky if both parts of a two-parter ended up airing consecutively, much less anything further-reaching – so I always had a fuzzy idea of how some of the plot points lined up.
For example, I didn't realise until just now that the gag where Bulk and Skull got turned into chimpanzees wasn't a one-off thing? Apparently they just stayed that way for the next fifteen episodes, and continued to serve as the show's comic relief B-plot in spite of being monkeys, voice-acted Garfield style by their regular human actors?
Now I'm wondering what else the out-of-order airing made me fail to connect the dots for.

Listen they caught lightening in a bottle casting Paul Schrier and Jason Narvy as Bulk and Skull
There has never been a more iconic duo in the 30 years this show's been on air
