Amanda takes the tour of the house, trying to memorize where everything is. She also takes note of the family pictures on the walls, hoping to get to know the family better. They had a ton of children but the twins would be her responsibility.
As the day progresses, Amanda slowly begins to get the hang of things. She feeds the twins, changes their diapers, and even plays with them a little. She was actually having a lot of fun, and she started to think that maybe she could pull this off.
By the evening, Amanda was exhausted. Taking care of two babies was a lot of work.
Amira was sitting in the living room, playing on her phone when Iris brought Amanda over to introduce them.
"Amira, this is Amanda, the new nanny for the twins," Iris says, gesturing to Amanda.
Amira looks up from her phone and gives Amanda a once-over, her expression unimpressed.
Amanda could feel Amira's gaze on her, and she could tell that the girl wasn't thrilled about her presence. She forced a smile and tried to make small talk.
"Hey there, Amira," she says, trying to sound friendly. "It's nice to meet you."
Amira rolls her eyes and looks back down at her phone, completely ignoring Amanda.
Iris frowns at Amira's behavior and gives her a stern look. "Amira Nicole, Nuh uh! That's not how we treat our guests," she says with all the fierceness you'd expect from a pissed off black momma. "You need to be more respectful."
Amira sighs dramatically and rolls her eyes again, but she puts her phone down and looks up at Iris.
"Sorry, Mom," she mutters, not sounding sorry at all.
Iris crosses her arms and continues to look at Amira with a stern expression.
"I mean it, little miss," she says. "You need to be on your best behavior. Amanda is here to help us, and you need to treat her with respect."
Amira grumbles under her breath, but she knows better than to argue with her mother.
"Fine," she says grudgingly. "I'll be nice."
Iris nods, satisfied with her daughter's response.
"Good," she says, giving Amira a small smile. "That's all I ask."
Amanda watches the interaction between Iris and Amira, trying not to laugh at the tween's obvious annoyance.
As the day goes on, Amanda tries to avoid Amira as much as possible. The last thing she needs is a moody preteen making her job harder.
By the time nightfall rolls around, Amanda is ready to collapse. She had spent the day running around after the twins, and Amira's attitude had only added to her exhaustion.
As Amanda puts the twins to bed, she lets out a sigh of relief. Finally, she could relax.
She flops down onto the couch, feeling the exhaustion settle in her bones. She closes her eyes for a moment, just trying to catch her breath.
After a few moments, Amanda opens her eyes again and looks around the room. The house is quiet now, and she can hear the soft sound of Iris and Roman talking in the kitchen.
Amanda sits up and decides to get up and join them. She was feeling a little hungry and could use a snack.
She walks into the kitchen and finds Iris and Roman sitting at the table sharing cheesecake like they're the damn golden girls or something, is this what married couples do? They both look up as she enters the room.
"Hey," Iris says, smiling at Amanda. "How are you holding up?"
Amanda lets out a tired chuckle and runs a hand through her hair.
"I'm exhausted," she admits. "But I think I'm getting the hang of things."
"Getting the hang of it? Didn't you say you've been a nanny for the past five years?" Roman questioned.
Amanda chuckled again, this time with a hint of sheepishness.
"Yeah, I did," she said, rubbing the back of her neck. "But um... usually older kids, not babies." she thinks on her feet coming up with a lie.
Iris raises an eyebrow at Amanda's admission, looking slightly concerned.
"You've never taken care of babies before?" she asks.
"I.. other than my little cousin. Of course I've taken care of a baby." Amanda expands on her lie.
Roman looks skeptical, but he doesn't say anything. Iris seems to buy the lie, nodding her head.
"Well, I'm sure you'll get used to it in no time," she says reassuringly. "The twins can be a handful, but they're good babies."
Amanda soon heads upstairs and down the hallway to her room which Iris had shown her earlier, feeling a sense of relief wash over her. Finally, some time alone to unpack and unwind.
She opens the door to her room and steps inside, taking in the sight of the cozy space. The queen size bed looked warm and inviting.
Amanda sets her suitcase down on the bed and begins to unpack, folding her clothes neatly and placing them in the dresser. She also unpacks her toiletries and sets them on the bathroom counter.
As she moves around the room, she takes in her surroundings. The room was decorated in a simple yet elegant style, with soft colors and comfortable furnishings. It was a nice change from the cramped apartment she had lived in before.
Once she's finished unpacking, Amanda flops down onto the bed with a sigh. She was definitely going to enjoy the comfortable mattress.
She looks around the room again, feeling a sense of contentment settle over her. She could really get used to this. This life of luxury.
Amanda's phone rings and she groans as she sees her mother's name on the caller ID. She reluctantly answers the phone, knowing that she can't avoid talking to her.
"Hello, Mother," she says, trying to keep the annoyance out of her voice.
"Darling," Beatrice says, her voice as cold and stern as ever. "How is your new job going?"
Amanda rolls her eyes, knowing that her mother's interest in her new job is not genuine.
"It's going fine," she replies curtly. "The kids are a handful, but nothing I can't handle."
"Of course you can handle it," Beatrice says dismissively. "You're a smart girl, after all. And you know how important it is for you to make a good impression on that family. You already let that little tramp steal Zilla right out from under your nose. And you didn't even try with Jacob! Solo is your last chance."
Amanda grits her teeth, feeling anger bubbling up inside her. Her mother's words sting, but she goes along with it. Like she always does.
"I know," she says through clenched teeth. "I'm trying my best, Mother. It's not easy."
Beatrice lets out a scoff on the other end of the line.
"Trying your best isn't good enough," she says harshly. "You need to do more than try. You need to succeed. That family is incredibly wealthy and influential. Do you want to end up being some hooker or some homeless cat lady?"
"Of course I don't," Amanda snaps, losing her patience. "But you can't rush these things. I just got here, I need time to build a rapport with the family."
"Time is something you don't have," Beatrice retorts. "The longer you wait, the more opportunities you're losing and the more likely you are to blow your cover. You need to start putting yourself out there. Show some initiative."
Amanda sighs, feeling overwhelmed by her mother's expectations.
"I understand, but I need to be careful," she says, trying to reason with her. "I can't just throw myself at Solo. That's not how it works."
"You're being naive," Beatrice scoffs. "If you want to marry into that family, you need to be willing to do whatever it takes. You need to make him fall in love with you. That's the only way you'll secure your future."
"I can't just magically make him fall in love with me," Amanda says, frustration seeping into her voice. "Love doesn't work like that."
"It does if you know how to play the game," Beatrice counters. "You need to use your charm, your wit, your body. Do whatever it takes to capture his attention and keep it."
Amanda's stomach churns at her mother's words. The thought of using her body to manipulate someone made her feel sick.
"Yes ma'am" she sighs.
"Good," Beatrice says, sounding satisfied. "I'll be expecting regular updates on your progress. Don't let me down, Amanda."
With that, she hangs up the phone, leaving Amanda feeling even more anxious and stressed than before.
Amanda stares at her phone for a moment, feeling a mix of emotions. Anger, frustration, guilt...
She throws her phone onto the bed and flops back onto the mattress, letting out a deep sigh. She hated the way her mother treated her, like she was some kind of pawn in a game. And now she was expected to seduce Solo in order to marry into his family and she hadn't even met him yet.
Amanda lay on the bed for a while, trying to gather her thoughts. She knew that she couldn't let her mother's expectations get to her. She had to be strong and keep her own morals in check.
But the pressure was mounting, and she couldn't deny that she was nervous about meeting Solo. What if he didn't like her? What if she failed to make a good impression?
Amanda pulls out her phone and opens google, typing Solo Sikoa in the search bar. She scrolls through the images wondering how on earth she's gonna pull this off.
She eventually drifts off to sleep, exhausted from the emotional rollercoaster that had been her day. She curls up under the covers and lets herself be enveloped in the warmth of the bed.
As she slept, she dreamt of meeting Solo. In her dream, he was everything her mother had said he was: cute, wealthy, tatted up. But there was something else about him that drew her in. Something mysterious and alluring.
In her dream, he smiled at her, his eyes sparkling with interest. And she found herself smiling back, feeling a connection with him that she couldn't explain.
As the dream progressed, Solo began to show her more of himself. He was witty, intelligent, and had a sense of humor that made her laugh. He was also surprisingly kind and compassionate, a side of him that she hadn't expected.
In the dream, they spent hours talking and laughing together, completely lost in each other's company. It was like a fairy tale come to life, and Amanda found herself falling for this dream version of him, hard.
The dream felt so real, so vivid, that Amanda couldn't help but wish it was reality. As she slept, she imagined what it would be like to actually be with Solo, to be loved and cherished by him, or anyone.
She wasn't Kiley or Iris or Jax or even Myra. She was just Amanda.
Amanda stirred in her sleep, her mind still consumed by thoughts of Solo. She rolled over onto her side, a small smile on her face as she continued to dream.
Suddenly, her dream shifted, and she found herself back in reality. She opened her eyes, feeling disoriented for a moment before realizing where she was. The bedroom, the mansion, the job... everything came rushing back to her.
Amanda sat up in bed, rubbing the sleep from her eyes. The dream had felt so real, so perfect, that it left her feeling both exhilarated and empty. She knew that it was just a fantasy, a way for her subconscious to escape the reality of her situation. But still, she couldn't shake the feeling of disappointment that came with waking up.
As she got out of bed and began to get ready for the day, Amanda tried to push the dream out of her mind. She couldn't afford to get caught up in her feelings for someone she hadn't even met yet.
She knew that she needed to stay focused on her mission: to make a good impression on Solo and secure her future. But deep down, a small part of her couldn't help but wonder what it would be like if she could have a love like the one she had experienced in her dream.

In which Nia is making Hamilton fanart in 2023... this is a new low, even for me

THE HOLD this woman had on 13 year old me, you don’t get it, I was absolutely OBSESSED
I called myself the #1 Maria Reynolds stan, defender and apologist, read every single fic on Ao3, FF.Net AND Wattpad, spent days digging through every historical record available on the internet to find out everything there is to know about her, made a presentation about her for school... If you ever need a detailed biography which includes accurate dates, a map of where she lived during her lifetime, and the names of, among others, all her siblings, stepchildren, sons-in-law and great granddaughter, you know who to call
A.k.a: When Nia’s mental health is in the gutter, she turns to Broadway musicals to cope
#FUN FACT IT’S HER BIRTHDAY TODAY#AND THAT DATE HAS BEEN ENGRAVED ON MY BRAIN FOR YEARS SO I DIDN’T EVEN NEED TO LOOK IT UP#AND I SPECIFICALLY WAITED FOR TODAY TO POST THIS#NEVER UNDERESTIMATE MY DEDICATION#okay nia that’s enough stop embarrassing yourself#we get it you were obsessed with hamilton in middle school move on#dw guys we’ll be back to our irregularly scheduled self-indulgent LoK OC content before you know it#I loved painting this actually it was so fun#the urge to do angelica and eliza as well grows by the second#but I will refrain#for now#my art#hamilton#hamilton an american musical#hamilton fanart#maria lewis reynolds#maria reynolds#jasmine cephas jones

The 73rd Emmy Awards nominations were announced by father/daughter duo Ron Cephas Jones (THIS IS US) and Jasmine Cephas Jones (Starz’s BLINDSPOTTING, HAMILTON).

Surely it was a good morning for Jasmine as her fiancé Anthony Ramos

and their HAMILTON costars Lin-Manual Miranda, Leslie Odom Jr., Daveed Diggs, Jonathan Groff, Phillipa Soo and Renée Elise Goldsberry were nominated thanks to the production being released on Disney+ .
Many fans were happy for Goldsberry’s nod but felt she should have also been nominated for her role in Peacock’s GIRLS 5EVA

The most jarring category nomination was Don Cheadle’s nomination (his eleventh!) for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series for his 98 seconds (literally, 98 seconds) appearance in THE FALCON AND THE WINTER SOLDIER. The worst of it is that he didn’t snag a nomination for his actual Showtime series BLACK MONDAY, a role he’s been twice nominated for.
Many people...had thoughts.
Don’t hate the player, hate the game.

Other nominations and snubs...
THE FALCON AND THE WINTER SOLDIER and HAMILTON was not the only Disney+ content to get nods, WANDAVISION was recognized with Elizabeth Olson, Kathryn Hahn and Paul Bettany all snagging nominations.
Lizzie’s husband breaking the good news.

Bettany was also chuffed to find out that his Amazon Prime film - the richly deserving UNCLE FRANK - was also nominated in the category of Outstanding TV Movie.

THE MANDALORIAN also received nominations
The majority of THE MANDALORIAN’s nominations were in the technical realm but the show did garner three acting nominations: Carl Weathers, Giancarlo Esposito and that silver fox Timothy Olyphant.
When I think about how he was only nominated once for JUSTIFIED and zero times for Netflix’s THE SANTA CLARITA DIET I want to scream.
- A galaxy far, far away from Obi Wan Kenobi in characterization is Halston but Ewan McGregor embodied the (in)famous designer perfectly and got an Emmy nomination for it.

Just another great thing to happen this year to McGregor as he and his FARGO and BIRDS OF PREY partner Mary Elizabeth Winstead welcomed their first child, son Laurie.
Laurie with three of his four sisters: Clara, Esther and Jamyan.
-This was a very good year for first season shows as evident by the nomination of Apple+’s TED LASSO whose 20 nominations broke GLEE’s first season record for nods.
As Interpol sang, “there’s no ‘I’ in threesome”, there’s also no ‘I’ in team as the nominations just wasn’t for series creator and lead Jason Sudeikis but Hannah Waddingham, Juno Temple, Brett Goldstein and the Diamond Dogs: Nick Mohammed, Jeremy Swift and Brendan Hunt.

Juno has said that she would like to walk the red carpet with Hannah. Hopefully they can recreate Hannah’s Golden Globe winning night.
Phil Dunster (Jamie Tartt do-do-do-do) reacts.
As does Toheeb Jimoh (Sam Obisanya)
- Like TED LASSO, Hulu’s THE HANDMAID’S TALE had many nominations across the cast with Elisabeth Moss, Yvonne Strahovski, Samira Wiley, Madeline Brewer, Max Minghella, Ann O’Dowd, Alexis Bleidel, Bradley Whitford and newcomer to the show McKenna Grace all receiving nominations. The glaring omission? Joseph Fiennes who gave a gloriously sinister performance this season.
As for snubs, I (try) not to go with my heart and classify omissions from shows/actors I love as a snub (though IT’S A SIN, THE GOOD LORD BIRD and its cast was robbed), I go by who was being pushed during The Hollywood Reporter’s roundtables. In that vein: John Boyega and the entire SMALL AXE crew were snubbed, after being nominated and winning various awards; Chris Rock for FARGO, which only managed to get technical nominations despite winning performances by Jesse Buckley, Jason Schwartzman and Ben Whishaw.

No nomination for Lena Waithe on her season of MASTER OF NONE. She has previously shared a writing Emmy for that show. Also locked out was Sarah Paulson for Netflix’s RATCHET.

Though Paulson’s costar Sophie Okonedo garnered a nomination.

While not honored this year, Paulson saluted her friend and AMERICAN HORROR STORY costar Evan Peters on his first Emmy nomination for his supporting role in MARE OF EASTTOWN.

While various awards bodies are always throwing nominations Nicole Kidman’s way, including the Emmys, she missed out on a nomination this year for THE UNDOING. However her costar Hugh Grant received one.
While not snubbed in nominations, many feel that HBO snubbed LOVECRAFT COUNTRY with cancelling it after one season - a season that has garnered 18 nominations.
The show has received technical nominations, as well as acting for stars Courtney B. Vance, Michael K. Williams, Aunjanue Ellis, Jurnee Smollett and Jonathan Majors.

The room is filled with laughter and chatter as everyone gathers at Marina and Cove's first birthday party. Friends and family are gathered around the large table, admiring the beautifully decorated cake and the adorable twins in their matching outfits.
Solo and Amanda are standing together, holding hands and laughing with the others. Amanda seems to be on her best behavior, acting as though nothing is wrong and that everything is perfect.
Kiley spots Iris and Roman across the room and makes her way over to them, a determined look on her face.
Kiley pulls out the folder she received from Tatiana and hands it to Iris. "I have something important to show you," she says, her voice low and serious.
Iris takes the folder, her brow furrowing in confusion. "What is this?" she asks, opening the folder and starting to read the contents.
Roman looks over Iris' shoulder as she reads, his expression growing more and more concerned with each page. They exchange a glance, their eyes filled with shock and disbelief.
Iris' eyes flash with anger as she finishes reading the report. She slams the folder shut and turns to Roman, her voice shaking with fury. "This lying sniveling little bitch lied about her qualifications to take care of our children so she can get to Solo," she says, her eyes blazing. "I will take her to court and fucking destroy her. She showed me a fraudulent early childhood education degree."
Roman quickly grabs Iris' arm, holding her back as she tries to lunge at Amanda. "Babygirl, calm down," he says, his voice firm but soothing. "Not here, not now."
Iris struggles against Roman's grip, her anger making her wild. "Let me go!" she snaps, her eyes fixed on Amanda who is looking around in confusion. "LET ME THE FUCK GO, ROMAN." She shouts, later consequences for yelling at the tribal chief be damned. And the stunned expression on his face most definitely told the story that Iris wouldn't be walking correctly or sitting comfortably after he gets his hands on her later. For now though, she's in mama bear mode.
Jey rushes over to help Roman, wrapping his arms around Iris from behind and holding her tightly. "You need to calm down, sis," he says, his voice calm but firm. "This isn't the time or place."
Everyone's eyes were now on the scene unfolding.
The twins were starting to cry, their innocent little faces scrunching up in confusion and fear. Solo, who was standing beside Amanda, looks completely bewildered by the commotion.
Jax and Myra quickly rush to pick up the twins, holding them in their arms and soothing them gently. They whisper calming words to the babies, trying to distract them from the chaos.
Iris, still seething with anger, manages to compose herself enough to fire Amanda on the spot. "You're fired," she says, her voice shaking with rage. "Get out of my house and never come back."
Amanda looks stunned and taken aback by the sudden dismissal. She glances at Solo, who is watching the scene with a mix of surprise and concern. "But...I..." she starts to say, but Iris cuts her off.
"GET YOUR SHIT AND GET THE FUCK OUT or I will have you arrested for trespassing. I'll sue you and take every penny your bitchass mama has." She says.
Amanda's eyes widen in fear at the threat, and she quickly scurries out of the room, grabbing her things and fleeing the house. The party atmosphere has completely dissolved, replaced by a tense and uncomfortable silence.
➴➵➶➴➵➶➴➵➶➴➵➶
Amanda leans against the wall outside, tears streaming down her face as she waits for her uber. She can't believe she was dumb enough to go along with her mom's plan.
Solo walks up to Amanda, his expression stern and demanding. "What the hell was that about?" he asks, his voice firm.
Amanda looks up at Solo, her face streaked with tears. "I...I can explain," she says, her voice trembling.
Solo crosses his arms and waits for her to continue, his eyes narrowed. "Then explain. I'm waiting."
Amanda takes a deep breath, trying to compose herself. "My mom..." she starts, but the words get caught in her throat.
Solo raises an eyebrow, his patience running thin. "Your mom what? Spit it out, Amanda."
Amanda finally blurts out the truth. "My mom convinced me to get close to you guys and marry into the family. First with Zilla but then he ended up with Kiley and I got fired. So she got me a fake resume and a fake degree so I could get hired as the Nanny for Iris and Roman, so I could get close to you..." she says, her voice barely above a whisper.
Solo stares at her in shock and disbelief. "You're kidding me, right?" he says, his voice laced with anger. "You faked a resume and degree just to get close to me?"
Amanda nods, tears streaming down her face again. "I'm sorry," she says, her voice cracking. "I know it was wrong and stupid, but my mom made me do it. She said it was the only way I could get out of this dead end life."
Solo's heart breaks as he realizes the truth. He had genuinely started to develop feelings for Amanda, but now he realizes that she was only using him for his family's wealth.
He takes a step back, his expression a mix of hurt and anger. "I can't believe I fell for your lies," he says, his voice filled with disappointment. "I thought you actually cared about me."
Amanda reaches out to him, her eyes pleading. "I do care about you, Solo," she says, her voice desperate. "At first, yes, I only cared about the money, the fame. But as I got to know you and your family, I started to care about you as a person. Please believe me."
Solo turns his back on Amanda and walks away, his heart heavy with betrayal. He doesn't want to hear her excuses or apologies. All he can think about is the fact that she had used him and his family for her own gain.
Amanda watches as he walks away, her heart shattering into a million pieces. She knows that she has lost him forever, and that the chance of ever having a real relationship with him is gone.
Amanda arrives at her mother's house, her eyes red and puffy from crying. She is met with a barrage of insults and accusations from her mother, who is furious that her plan failed.
"You stupid girl!" Beatrice shouts.
"You had one job, and you couldn't even do that right," she continues, her voice filled with venom. "You had Solo wrapped around your finger and you blew it. Now what? We're back to square one."
Beatrice paces back and forth, her anger palpable. "We need a new plan, and fast. We can't let this opportunity slip away," she says, her eyes narrowing as she thinks.
For the first time in her life, Amanda feels a spark of defiance and determination. She takes a deep breath and stands up to her mother.
"No," she says firmly. "I'm done being your pawn. I'm done letting you control my life and use me for your own gain."
Beatrice looks taken aback, clearly not expecting her daughter to stand up to her.
"Excuse me? I brought you into this world-" she says, her voice dripping with disbelief.
"Yeah, yeah and you can take me out. You heard me," Amanda says, her voice gaining strength. "I'm done with your schemes and manipulation. I'm going to live my own life and make my own choices."
Beatrice's face turns red with anger. "You ungrateful little brat!" she spits out. "After everything I've done for you, this is how you repay me?"
Amanda takes a step back, but her resolve doesn't waver. "Everything you've done for me? You mean using me as a tool to further your own ambitions? To manipulate people and get what you want?"
Beatrice's eyes flash with fury. "You're so naive, Amanda. You don't know anything about the real world. You need me to guide you, to take care of you."
Amanda shakes her head. "No, I don't need you. I can take care of myself. I'm done being a puppet on your strings. I'm leaving, and I'm not coming back."
With that, Amanda turns and walks out the door, not looking back. She feels a weight lifted off her shoulders as she leaves her mother's toxic influence behind. For the first time in her life, she is truly free to make her own choices and live her own life.

Solo sits at the table in the kitchen, nursing a glass of whiskey. Jacob and Myra, sit across from him. He'd gone to their place after shit hit the fan at the birthday party.
Jacob and Myra listen as Solo pours out his heart, telling them everything that had happened with Amanda. They listen patiently, offering comforting words and a sympathetic ear.
As Solo continues to talk, his voice grows thick with emotion. He can't believe that he was fooled by Amanda, that he had let himself fall for someone who only wanted him for his money.
"I feel so stupid," he says, shaking his head. "I should have seen through her lies from the beginning."
Myra reaches out and places a comforting hand on Solo's arm. "You can't blame yourself for falling for her," she says softly. "Amanda was good at manipulating people, she had us all fooled too. Well, everyone but me and LeLe." she says, Myra had been ready to ride as soon as Kiley had said who Amanda was. One thing Myra was always gon do is be there for her bestie.
Solo looks up at Myra, grateful for her understanding. "I just feel so betrayed," he says, his voice breaking. "I thought I could trust her, It hurts like hell. And the worse part? I think I still love her."
Jacob nods, "Love is complicated and scary, Uce," he says. "Especially when you've been hurt by it. But you're a strong man, Solo. You'll get through this."
Solo takes a deep breath, trying to compose himself. He knows that Jacob is right, but it's hard to let go of the pain and the love he still feels for Amanda.
"I just don't know how to move on from this," he says, his voice barely above a whisper.
Myra gives Solo a sympathetic smile. "I know it's hard, but you have to give yourself time to heal," she says. "It's okay to be angry and hurt, but don't let it consume you. Take it one day at a time, and remember that you are loved and supported."
Solo nods, taking in Myra's words. He knows that she's right, that he needs to take things slow and give himself time to process everything that has happened.
"Thank you," he says, looking at both Myra and Jacob. "For being here for me, for listening. I don't know what I'd do without you guys."
Myra reaches out and gives Solo a tight hug. "You don't have to thank us," she says. "We're family, and family looks out for each other."
Jacob nods in agreement, clapping his cousin on the back. "We're always here for you, Uce. No matter what. We love you, Solo."
Solo takes a deep breath, feeling a sense of comfort and relief wash over him.
"You know what? I think I'm feeling a bit better," he admits. "Ion know if it's the whiskey or the talking."
"Either way, you gon have to Uber on home so yo cousin can dick me down already." Myra jokes to lighten the mood.
Solo laughs at Myra's joke, grateful for the moment of levity. He shakes his head, a smirk on his face. "Alright alright. I'm out. Have fun you too."

Amanda arrives at the WWE live show that weekend, feeling a mix of nervousness and determination. She had been thinking about Solo constantly over the past week, and she couldn't get his hurt expression out of her mind. She knew she needed to apologize to him, even if it meant risking getting arrested for sneaking backstage.
Amanda finds a way to slip backstage, using her charm and wit to get past security. She moves through the corridors, trying to find Solo's locker room. Her heart pounds in her chest as she searches, knowing that she might not be welcome here.
Finally, she finds the right locker room, the one labeled 'bloodline' and takes a deep breath before knocking on the door. She waits anxiously, hoping that Solo will answer.
After a moment, the door swings open. "My tribal chief, Amanda is here." Paul announces to Roman immediately.
Roman's eyes widen in surprise as he sees Amanda standing there. He's shocked to see her after everything that happened at the twins birthday party. "What are you doing here?" he asks, his tone a mix of surprise and anger.
Amanda takes a step forward, looking up at Roman with pleading eyes. "I need to talk to Solo," she says. "Please, it's important."
Roman hesitates for a moment, unsure if he should let her in. But he knows that he can't keep her away from Solo forever. Not when his baby cousin had been moping around like a lost puppy without her. "Five minutes. You have five minutes." He sighs and steps aside, gesturing for her to enter the locker room.
Amanda enters the locker room, her heart pounding in her chest. She sees Solo sitting on the couch, looking up at her in shock.
"Amanda? What are you doing here?" he asks, his voice laced with surprise and a hint of anger.
Amanda takes a deep breath, trying to steady her nerves. "I came to apologize," she says, her voice trembling slightly. "I know I hurt you, and I'm so sorry."
Solo's expression hardens as he looks at Amanda. "Apologize? After everything you did, you think an apology is going to make it all better?" he asks, his voice cold.
Amanda flinches at Solo's words, feeling the sting of his anger. "I know it won't make it all better," she says, her voice barely above a whisper. "But I had to try. I had to tell you how sorry I am, how much I regret everything."
Amanda looks up at Solo, her eyes pleading. "Can we talk in private, please?" she asks, her voice soft and desperate.
Solo looks at her for a moment, considering her request. He's not sure if he wants to be alone with her, he don't know if he can trust himself to not fuck her senseless but he can see the sincerity in her eyes.
"Fine," he says gruffly. "But only for a minute."
"Make it quick, you need to be back in time for the main event." Roman states.
"Of course, my tribal chief." Solo agreed.
Solo leads Amanda out of the locker room and into a secluded hallway. He crosses his arms, looking at her expectantly. "Okay, we're alone. What did you want to talk about?"
Amanda takes a deep breath, trying to gather her thoughts. She looks up at Solo, her eyes filled with remorse.
"I'm sorry for everything," she says again. "I never meant to hurt you. I know I was selfish and careless, and I can't take it back. But I need you to know how much I regret it."
Solo looks at her, his expression softening slightly. "You say that, but you have no idea how much you hurt me," he says, his voice laced with pain. "You played with my emotions and toyed with my feelings. And for what? For money? to be in my family's spotlight?"
Amanda looks down, shame and guilt written all over her face. "I know," she says quietly. "I know I hurt you for money, and I'll never be able to make it right. But I do care about you, Solo. I always have."
Solo shakes his head, disbelief in his eyes. "You have a funny way of showing it," he says bitterly. "You lied to me, manipulated me, and played me for a fool in front of my entire bloodline. How am I supposed to believe that you care about me now?"
Amanda takes a step closer to Solo, her eyes pleading. "I did something reckless just to come here and apologize to you," she says earnestly. "I snuck into the venue, past security, and backstage. I took a huge risk just to talk to you, to try and make things right between us."
Solo looks at her, surprise evident in his eyes. He hadn't expected her to take such a big risk just to see him.
"You snuck in here? For me?" he asks, his voice softer now.
Amanda nods, tears welling up in her eyes. "Yes," she whispers. "I had to see you, had to try and fix things. I know it's too late, I know you probably hate me, but I had to try."
Solo is silent for a moment, processing her words. He can see the sincerity in her eyes, and it's difficult to remain angry when she's standing there looking so vulnerable.
"I don't hate you," he finally says, his voice quiet. "But it's going to take more than just an apology to fix things between us."
Amanda nods, tears streaming down her face. "I know," she says, her voice choked with emotion. "I don't expect you to forgive me right away. I just needed you to know how sorry I am, how much I regret everything. That I finally stood up to my mother."
Solo looks at Amanda for a long moment, a conflicted expression on his face. He's torn between his anger and his desire to forgive her.
"If I forgive you," he says slowly, "I have one condition."
Amanda looks up at him, hope flickering in her eyes. "Anything," she whispers. "I'll do anything to earn your forgiveness."
Solo's eyes darken as he looks at her, a smirk playing on his lips. "You said you'd do anything," he says, his voice low and dangerous. "Then you'll submit to my punishment."
Amanda's heart skips a beat as she realizes what he means. She looks up at him, a mixture of fear and desire in her eyes.
Solo takes a step closer to her, towering over her. "Are you going to be a good girl and take your punishment?" he asks, his voice dripping with dominance.
Amanda nods, her voice barely above a whisper. "Y-yes," she stammers.
After the show, Solo leads Amanda back to his house, his hand on the small of her back as they walk. The tension between them is palpable, a mix of unresolved emotions and anticipation.
Once they're inside, Solo closes the door behind them and locks it. He turns to look at Amanda, his eyes raking over her body. "Now that we're alone," he says.
Amanda shivers under his gaze, her heart pounding in her chest. She can feel the weight of his dominance, the promise of pain and pleasure in his words.
Solo walks over to her, his footsteps heavy and deliberate. He stands in front of her, looking down at her with a predatory glint in his eyes. "Take off your clothes," he orders, his voice low and commanding.
Amanda hesitates for a moment, but the look in Solo's eyes leaves no room for argument. She slowly begins to undress.
As she undresses, Solo watches intently, his eyes drinking in every inch of her skin. Once she's fully naked, he steps closer to her, his hands reaching out to touch her.
His hands are rough and possessive as they roam over her body, tracing the curves of her hips, the swell of her breasts. He runs his fingers along her skin, leaving a trail of fire in their wake.
Amanda gasps as he touches her, her body responding to his touch despite the circumstances. She tries to maintain her composure, but it's difficult when he's looking at her like that, with such intensity and hunger in his eyes.
"What's your Safeword?" Solo asked.
"Red" Amanda says.
Solo grabs her wrist and leads her over to the couch, pushing her down onto the cushions. He positions himself behind her, his hand resting on her bare back.
"Count for me," he says, his voice firm. "And if you lose count, we'll start again."
Amanda nods, bracing herself for the first spank. She feels his hand on her skin, and then the sharp sting of his palm against her flesh. She gasps, the sensation sending a shockwave through her body.
"One," she manages to say.
Solo smirks at her response, pleased that she's obediently counting for him. He continues the spanking, his hand connecting with her skin again and again.
"Three," she gasps out, tears welling up in her eyes.
With each spank, Amanda feels a mix of pain and pleasure coursing through her veins. Her body is on fire, and she can feel herself getting wetter with each blow.
Solo doesn't stop, his hand moving with increasing force and intensity. "You're taking your punishment so well, baby" he says, his voice rough with desire.
Amanda's body is trembling now, her mind a haze of sensation. The sting of his hand, the heat of her skin, the throbbing between her legs - it's all too much.
"Owww, fuck!" she finally manages to gasp out, the word serving as a plea for mercy.
Solo pauses, his hand still raised. He looks down at her, a sly smile on his face. "That's not your safe word," he says, his voice laced with amusement. "You know what your safe word is, don't you?"
Amanda nods, tears streaming down her face. She knows her safe word, but she doesn't want to use it. She wants to feel the pain, to endure the punishment that he's doling out.
Solo chuckles darkly, his hand coming down again. "Then keep counting," he orders.
Amanda lets out a sob as he continues the spanking, her body arching with each blow. The pain is almost unbearable now, but she keeps counting, her voice growing hoarse with each number.
"Eight," she chokes out.
Solo is relentless, his hand coming down with a steady rhythm. He watches her intently, drinking in the way her body writhes beneath him.
"Good girl," he murmurs, his voice low and possessive. "You're taking it so well. Just a few more."
Amanda's vision is blurry with tears, but she keeps counting, her voice barely above a whisper now. She's lost count of how many times he's spanked her, her mind consumed by the sensation of his hand on her skin.
"Please," she begs, not even sure what she's asking for anymore.
Solo stops, his hand finally stilling. He takes a step back, admiring the sight of her trembling body.
"You've done well," he says, his voice filled with a mixture of pride and satisfaction. "You took your punishment beautifully."
Amanda lies there, panting and spent. Her body is still on fire, but the spanking has left her feeling both vulnerable and exhilarated.
Solo moves to sit beside her, his hand gently stroking her hair. "You're mine now," he whispers, his voice possessive and commanding.
Amanda leans into his touch, her body seeking comfort after the intensity of the punishment. She's his now, completely and utterly. There's no going back from this, and the realization both terrifies and excites her.
Solo smiles, his hand moving down to caress her face. "You've learned your lesson," he says, his thumb tracing her jawline. "Now, I think it's time for a reward."
He leans in and kisses her deeply, his tongue exploring her mouth as he pulls her into his lap.
Amanda melts into his kiss, her body still sensitive from the spanking. She wraps her arms around his neck, clinging to him as if he's her only lifeline.
Solo's hands roam over her body, tracing the curves of her hips and breasts. He pulls her closer, his body pressed against hers as he deepens the kiss.
As they kiss, Amanda can feel his arousal pressing against her. She rocks her hips against him, a low moan escaping her lips.
Solo breaks the kiss, his eyes dark with desire. "Eager, aren't you?" he murmurs, his hands moving to her thighs.
Amanda nods, her body craving more of his touch. She can feel herself getting wet again, her arousal returning with a vengeance.
Solo smirks, his hands sliding up her thighs to her hips. He pulls her closer, his fingers digging into her flesh as he positions her on his lap.
Amanda straddles him, her legs on either side of his hips as she lowers herself onto his cock, the two of them letting out a moan in unison.
Amanda continues to ride him, her body aching for release. She buries her face in his neck, her breath coming in hot, ragged gasps.
Solo lets out a low groan, his hands gripping her hips tightly as he guides her movements. "That's it," he whispers, his voice rough with desire. "Take what you need."
Solo holds her close, his hands moving up to tangle in her hair. He tilts her head back, forcing her to look at him. "Look at me," he commands, his eyes burning with intensity.
Amanda meets his gaze, her eyes locked on his. She feels exposed and vulnerable, but there's a thrill in being completely at his mercy.
Solo smiles, clearly enjoying the sight of her like this. "Good girl," he says again, his hands sliding down to her ass. "You're so obedient, so willing to please me."
Amanda whimpers as his hands grip her ass, his fingers digging into the flesh. The sensation sends a jolt of pleasure through her body, and she rides him.
Solo watches her with a mixture of satisfaction and hunger. "You're such a good slut," he murmurs.
Amanda nods, unable to deny the truth of his words. She is desperate for him, desperate for his touch, his approval, his control.
Solo's hands move to her hips again, stilling her movements. "But you're not allowed to come yet," he says, his voice firm. "Not until I say so."
Amanda lets out a frustrated whine, her body trembling with need. She tries to move against him again, but his grip on her hips is unyielding.
Solo chuckles, clearly enjoying her desperation. "Patience," he chides, his eyes glinting with amusement. "You'll get what you want when I decide you've earned it."
Amanda closes her eyes, trying to calm her racing heart. She knows that he's right, that she needs to obey him if she wants to be rewarded. But the waiting is torture, every second feeling like an eternity.
Solo continues to hold her still, his hands tracing lazy patterns on her skin. He leans in and nibbles on her earlobe, his breath hot against her ear. "Just relax," he whispers. "Let me take care of you."
Amanda lets out a soft whimper, her body trembling with need. She opens her mouth to speak, but the only word that comes out is "Daddy."
Solo's eyes darken with desire at the sound of the word.
"Good girl," he murmurs, his grip on her hips tightening. "Say it again."
He starts to move against her, his body slowly grinding against hers, thrusting upwards.
Amanda moans again, the word "Daddy" falling from her lips like a prayer. She's completely lost in the moment, consumed by the pleasure and the need to obey him.
Solo's movements grow more insistent, his body driving against hers with a relentless rhythm. He watches her intently, drinking in the sight of her surrender.
They reach their climax together, their bodies shuddering with release. Amanda cries out his name, her nails digging into his shoulders as she clings to him.
Solo buries his face in her neck, his own groan muffled against her skin. He holds her tightly, his body trembling with the force of his orgasm.
They collapse against each other, both breathing heavily as they come down from their high. Solo wraps his arms around her, holding her close as they catch their breath.
"You did so well," he murmurs, pressing a kiss to her forehead. "I'm so proud of you."
Amanda nuzzles into his chest, her body still humming with pleasure. She feels exhausted but content, the release she's been craving finally sated.
Solo holds her close, his fingers tracing soothing patterns on her back. He kisses the top of her head, his touch gentle and possessive.
"Solo..."
"Yes, baby?" he replies, his voice soft. He tilts her chin up, looking into her eyes.
Amanda gazes up at him, her expression full of love and adoration. "I love you," she whispers, her voice barely above a breath.
Solo's eyes soften, his heart swelling with emotion. He leans down and kisses her gently, his lips brushing against hers.
"I love you too," he murmurs against her mouth.

Epilogue
╰──────༺♡༻──────╯
Jimmy and Naomi have been married for years, and while they have a happy and fulfilling relationship, they've been searching for something more. They've tried a few things in the bedroom, but they both know that they need someone else to fulfill their desires. Jimmy is a Dom but Naomi is a Switch.
So they've been searching for a third, someone who can bring something new and exciting to their relationship. They've found a few potential candidates on KinkStar, a discreet and exclusive app.
KinkStar is an exclusive app designed specifically for people with kinks and fetishes. It's similar to other dating apps, but it caters specifically to people who are into more... unconventional things.
The app has a complex matching system that takes into account a user's kinks, preferences, and even their location. It's a safe and secure way for people with specific desires to find others who share their interests.
Once a user has found a potential match, they can communicate privately through the app's messaging system. They can also set up meetups or arrange play dates, depending on their preferences.
Many of the users on KinkStar are people who prefer to keep their kinks and fetishes private. They're celebrities, politicians, CEOs, and other high-profile individuals who want to ensure that their personal information stays just that - personal.
Tatiana, a private investigator, has been hired by the competition, Polyship, to investigate KinkStar. She's been given the task of getting as much information as possible about the app, including its inner workings and user base.
The more she scrolled the more she became interested in the kink itself and created her own profile after the case had wrapped up and her check from Polyship cleared.
Tatiana is surprised when she receives a message from a stunning couple. They introduce themselves as Jimmy and Naomi, and they seem intrigued by her profile.
Tatiana feels a mix of excitement and nervousness as she opens their message. She can't help but be drawn in by their beauty and the prospect of playing with them.
She types out a reply, her fingers flying over the keyboard as she tries to come across as confident and experienced. She asks them a few questions about their interests and what they're looking for in a third.
As she waits for their response, she can't help but wonder what it would be like to be with them. They seem like the perfect couple, both beautiful and dominant.
Jimmy and Naomi reply quickly, their messages flirty and confident. They tell her that they're looking for someone to join them in their BDSM lifestyle, someone who can submit to them and help them explore their desires.
Tatiana feels a thrill run through her body as she reads their words. She's never been with a couple before, let alone one who is into BDSM. The idea of being at their mercy excites her more than she cares to admit.
They continue to chat for a while, discussing their interests and boundaries. Tatiana finds herself becoming more and more intrigued by the couple with every message.
After several days of flirting and talking, they finally arrange a meetup. Tatiana is both excited and nervous as she prepares to meet them in person.
She dresses in a tight black dress that hugs her curves and wears her hair down. She puts on a pair of high heels and a smoky eye look, wanting to make a good impression.
Tatiana looks at herself in the mirror, taking a deep breath as she gives herself a pep talk.
"You've got this," she tells herself, trying to calm her nerves. "You're a kickass PI. You can handle a little date."
She straightens her dress and checks her makeup one last time before heading out the door.

HAMILTON ON DISNEY+

BEWARE: SPOILERS AHEAD FOR HAMILTON ON DISNEY+
Hi everyone! I’m back with a very exciting post that I thought I would not be writing for a very long time. My review of the filmed Hamilton Production on Broadway with the OBC!! After the unexpected announcement that the Hamilton film would find it’s home on Disney+ instead of being released in theaters in 2021, I was ecstatic. I could not believe it! I have been listening to the album with the OBC for years now. I never get tired of it, it always puts a smile on my face and the occasional comfort whenever I need it. I have watched Hamilton four times now and I just love it so much. So let’s go...
Overall reaction
Even after watching four times now, my reaction is still the same. I truly believe that it is a brilliant masterpiece. That is high praise for sure, but Hamilton deserves it. I will never forget experiencing it for the first time on July 3rd. I was blown away and could not take my eyes off the screen. It was exhilarating to finally see this, after listening to it for years. It is the little details that you do not get to experience when listening to the album that I loved the most. So overall, I was blown away by it and exceeded all of my expectations.
Film
I have never seen a filmed stage musical, so I do not have a reference. However, I thought this was beautifully filmed. It showed the whole stage when it was needed and zoomed in on the actors when necessary. It was an intimate experience. You get the best seat in the house, so to speak.
Cast
I already knew the cast was phenomenal due to listening to the cast album. Seeing them perform all the songs was even better than I expected! Here is an itemized list (hehe) of all the cast members, because they all deserve a chance to shine! Special shout-out to all the ensemble members, without them the show would just not be complete!
Lin-Manuel Miranda as Alexander Hamilton Favorite performance: Hurricane (so beautifully staged!!)
The man, the myth, the legend! I am a huge fan of Lin and his work (even beyond Hamilton)! I thought his Hamilton was great and very funny at times. The emotion in his performance was really good! Lin wrote this whole thing!! It all came from his mind, which is incredible in and of itself.
Phillipa Soo as Eliza Hamilton Favorite performance: Burn (iconic)
Phillipa is so talented. She has an amazing voice and pair that with her amazing performance and it is practically perfect. Her acting and singing during the final song, Who Lives, Who Dies, Who Tells Your Story, was so emotional. It had me crying all the three times I have seen it.
Leslie Odom Jr. as Aaron Burr Favorite performance: Wait For It (this is one of the songs that made me a Hamilton fan)
Leslie Odom Jr. is one of the most talented people ever. He is so amazing on that stage. Everybody always said that The Room Where It Happens is a true masterpiece and I always liked the song, but it was not my favorite. Seeing Leslie and the Ensemble cast perform it, WOW! Incredible. Leslie is the perfect Burr and had me crying and laughing many times.
Renée Elise Goldsberry as Angelica Schuyler Favorite performance: Satisfied (what else?!)
I always found Renée’s voice so damn powerful in Satisfied, which made me love the song more. Seeing Satisfied performed was magical and I will never get over how amazing that song is and how perfect Renée performs it. She is a true powerhouse whenever she shows up and confirmed that Angelica is one of my favorites in the show.
Daveed Diggs as Marquis de Lafayette/Thomas Jefferson Favorite performance: What’d I Miss (this was hard)
Daveed Diggs. Daveed Diggs. Daveed Diggs. Oh my gosh, he was even more perfect than I thought. Daveed is one of the cast members everyone always raved about and now I know why! If I had to describe his performance, I would say it is electric. He just immediately captures your attention. For both Lafayette and Jefferson!
Christopher Jackson as George Washington Favorite performance: One Last Time (this was so powerful)
The first time Chris emerges on the stage as Washington, you are just immediately drawn to him (at least I was haha). He just has a very powerful presence. Especially in Right Hand Man, his entrance is EVERYTHING! History Has Its Eyes On You has always been one of my favorites on the soundtrack and it was even better seeing it. However, his moment is One Last Time. It is truly a defining moment of the entire show.
Okieriete “Oak” Onaodowan as Hercules Mulligan/James Madison Favorite performance: Yorktown (his part is so good)
Oak has some fantastic moments in the show! His Hercules Mulligan is so great and full of energy. As I said, his part in Yorktown gets me so hyped! I loved James Madison’s parts with Jefferson, they had awesome energy together. Another fave Madison line is in The Election of 1800. The first line is Jefferson saying if they can get back to Politics since a lot of drama and sad stuff happened in the past few songs and Madison is like uhh, please with a soft voice because he has been crying. So funny and relatable!
Anthony Ramos as John Laurens/Philip Hamilton Favorite Performance: Blow Us All Away (funny in the beginning and ends so sadly)
I enjoyed Anthony Ramos’ performance quite a bit! He was great in conveying emotions as both Laurens and Phillip, with both roles having quite emotional endings. I was shocked to find out there was a part just before Non-Stop that showed Hamilton learning about Laurens’ death, that was so sad and Anthony Ramos did it so beautifully. I was very impressed by him and I cannot wait to see him in In The Heights!
Jasmine Cephas Jones as Peggy Schuyler/Maria Reynolds Favorite performance: Say No To This (her vocals are so great here)
Peggy and Maria might not be the biggest roles in the show but Jasmine slays in both of them! Especially as Maria, her vocals in Say No To This are even better than on the cast album. She was amazing!
Jonathan Groff as King George III Favorite performance: I Know Him (Jonathan’s performance makes this song work so well)
Jonathan was funny on the album but when you see the performance with it, it just completes it! He was phenomenal, and I loved that he showed up during some other songs as well, for example in The Reynolds Pamphlet, absolutely hilarious! I also enjoyed his little announcement at the beginning, where he said Enjoy MY show, that was a neat thing to include here!
Favorite Musical Numbers
Okay, so these are all my favorite performance, taking into consideration the song itself, staging, choreography, and production. I love how seeing the show made me love songs that were not my favorites before! So here they are in a non-particular order:
My Shot
So powerful, I think I almost jumped off the couch at the end because I was so hyped!
The Schuyler Sister
Even better than I thought it would be! From the use of the rotating stage, the performances, and choreography.
Farmer Refuted
This was the one song I always skipped on the album, however, seeing it here makes me lol every time! It’s great.
You’ll Be Back, What Comes Next?, and I Know Him
Give me all the King George content, soooo funny, I just love these moments in the show!
Helpless and Satisfied
Satisfied is still my favorite of the two, however it was breathtaking seeing how well the two are connected. Especially Satisfied, first the toast, then rewinding to see Helpless from Angelica’s perspective, and lastly coming back to the toast. I just thought it was stunning to see! The staging here is phenomenal.
Wait For It
The song that made me love Hamilton. Seeing Leslie performing it, made me love it, even more. He is so talented and amazing here. I had goosebumps. Even though the staging and production for this number are simple, it just makes it even better because you can just focus on Burr!
Yorktown (The World Turned Upside Down)
Every time I watch it and Yorktown ends, I always shake my head in awe. It such a powerful moment in the show and it just makes me very hyped (especially Mulligan’s part). SO good.
Non-Stop
I know I keep talking about how great the staging is, but I feel like the staging from Satisfied, Non-Stop, and another one is the best ones in the show. The ending of Non-Stop on the stage with all the characters standing above Hamilton, stairs being moved from one side to the other all so seamlessly... *chef’s kiss*
Cabinet Battle #1 and #2
The energy between Hamilton and Jefferson here is so good, and I love they look into the audience and make them a part of it. Lin and Daveed just nail these songs!
The Room Where It Happens
Two things: LESLIE and THE CHOREOGRAPHY. That is all.
Washington On Your Side
I just really started loving this song after seeing the show. I also loved the beginning of the song where Burr joins Jefferson on stage, starts singing and Jefferson is just standing there confused thinking: “Where did you come from all of a sudden?” This is Chris’ moment in the show, he just conveys so much emotion in every line.
One Last Time
This is Chris’ moment in the show, he just conveys so much emotion in every line.
Hurricane
I just love this song and the use of the rotating stage here is excellent, same goes for the lighting.
The World Was Wide Enough
Seeing this for the first time was so emotional, the part where only Lin is singing and you onlyhear his voice... Pfff, amazing! Also how Leslie ends the song, WOW!
Who Lives, Who Dies, Who Tells Your Story
The way I sobbed during this... I just thought it was a beautiful ending for the show itself.
Okay, that was a long one! But I love talking about Hamilton and if you read the whole post, I guess you like reading about it! Thank you so much for reading and I hope you enjoyed it! What were your favorite moments from the show?
Have a festive day and stay safe!
XO

six asks: 2, 10 and 14?
2) What’s your ideal casting line-up from people who haven’t done the show?
ohh this is hard but i’ll try (it’s probs gonna be a combo of west end and bway actors so)
aragon: jocasta almgill or jasmine cephas jones
boleyn: lesli margherita or taylor iman jones
seymour: rebecca naomi jones or natalie weiss or christina bennington or brittain ashford yeah i have too many ppl i wanna see as seymour
cleves: in an ideal world? lizzo. in the real world where pop stars at the height of their career don’t do musicals? maybe miriam-teak lee, although i think she would also be a good seymour (she has the range). but i genuinely can’t think of anyone else for cleves.
howard: i maintain that eva noblezada would be a god tier howard. or let alex thomas-smith be in the show!!
parr: jewelle blackman or
bonus alts: denee benton as howard/seymour, jessie shelton as boleyn/aragon and emmy raver lampman as cleves/parr
10) What Six-related blogs do you recommend following?
honestly i really don’t follow a lot of six blogs (i get most of my content from the tag) and i wouldn’t rlly feel comfy in case i forgot anyone i don’t wanna make anyone feel bad, sorry!
14) What’s your most unpopular Six opinion?
i think i have a LOT of unpopular six opinions. i guess the most would be that i like dluh as is, and i don’t think it needs to be changed in any way, the show isn’t about historical accuracy and dluh fits perfectly in the format of each song being about one aspect of each queen’s life that can also be related to modern women. that’s the point of the show.
#last time i made a fancast it had danielle as parr so i'm praying one of those comes true too#karisokaprotectionsquad

I guess I have to be content with Emmy nominated Dev Patel as opposed to Emmy *winner* Dev Patel as Eddie Murphy took home the Emmy in the category of Outstanding Actor in a Comedy Series for his returns to SNL. Murphy edged out Patel for “Modern Love”, Adam Driver and Brad Pitt in their SNL appearances, Luke Kirby for “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” and a posthumous nomination for Fred Willard for “Modern Family”.

Other Creative Emmy wins this week includes
Maya Rudolph who beat out herself (The Good Place), Phoebe Waller Bridge (SNL), Bette Midler (The Politician), Wanda Sykes (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel) and Angela Basset (The Black Lady Sketch Show). Rudolph, won an Emmy earlier in the week for her voicework on Netflix’s BIG MOUTH.

Joseph Gordon Levitt.

Trent Reznor and Attitcus Ross for Outstanding Musical Composition for a Limited Series (WATCHMEN)

You’ve come a long way, Trent.

The win for Reznor and Ross put them closer (heh) to EGOT status. They just need a Tony.
Another Emmy winner in need of a Tony to achieve EGOT status is Ludwig Goransson who won this week for his musical composition work on THE MANDALORIAN. Goransson won a Grammy and Oscar for his BLACK PANTHER score.

Laurence Fishburne

and Jasmine Cephas Jones for the Quibi series #FreeRayshawn

Her father Ron won his 2nd Emmy for his role in THIS IS US, his fourth nomination. But for now there is an asterisk until the Academy confirms because his name was posted as the winner, but Jason Bateman’s name was read.

It was announced that Jasmine will star in the spinoff series for the film BLINDSPOTTING which was written by her HAMILTON costar Daveed Diggs and Rafael Casal and also starred the duo.

Another Emmy nominee just shy of an EGOT is Casal’s BAD EDUCATION costar Hugh Jackman.

Hugh is up for an Emmy (he already has one under his belt for hosting the Tonys, he won an special Tony, and a Grammy winner as producer of THE GREATEST SHOWMAN soundtrack. Honestly, he. Kristen Wiig and The Lonely Island should have won a Grammy for “You Got the Look”.
