Hello! It's me again :D I've been wondering (dang it, Adele!) if you plan on continuing your Legacy? I haven't seen any update so far and I'm worried you've abandoned it - and must I say, I cannot imagine my life without that daily dose of sexy Ryu :C
I'm not planning on abandoning them, not at all!
I'm going through a rough mental health patch right now and I've been busy irl so I've taken a little break, but I will come back to them once I have the mental energy for it! 💕

FIC: ONE STEP BEHIND
Title: One Step Behind Author: JarOfStories Pairing: Taeyeon & Jessica Rating: PG-13 Summary:
It was probably three in the morning, when Taeyeon had enough of tossing and turning in bed and she got up to get a glass of water. There had been so many things on her mind, and so much weight on her heart, but there was no one who could listen to her, or perhaps, no one would understand even if they listened to her. It was her truest self there and then. The Taeyeon who needn't fake a smile, a laugh. The Taeyeon whose face was almost drained of all colours, especially the colour of life. The Taeyeon who was exhausted beyond words, physically, and emotionally. The Taeyeon who wanted someone's shoulder to lean on, to cry on. Letting out a sigh, she put down the empty glass before she started to take slow steps out of the kitchen, her head hanging low.
She almost screamed her lungs out when she suddenly saw a pair of legs right at the entrance to the kitchen. She clutched her chest as she gasped, after she realised that it was none other than the person she had been avoiding for the past two years - Jessica. Her heart raced, and the earlier shock was not the sole reason behind it. The familiar look of indifference took over when her shock subsided. Pursing her lips, Taeyeon had no intention to acknowledge the girl, and she took a side step so that she could pass her, but no. Jessica took a step to her right, successfully blocking Taeyeon a second time. Impatience was beginning to show in Taeyeon's eyes, and Jessica could sense it. It was the same impatience that she had to face since two years ago and it was only all too familiar. Still, Taeyeon said nothing. Swiftly, she took a side step in the other direction this time round, hoping that Jessica would stop enraging her in the middle of the night, but no, yet again. For the third time, Jessica mimicked her action and blocked her path. Finally, Taeyeon's cold stare met Jessica's soulful gaze.
"What's your problem?" Taeyeon asked, hostility obvious in her tone.
Jessica took a moment or two, her eyes fixed on the leader, before she muttered, "Stop it."
Furrowing her eyebrows, Taeyeon retorted, "Stop what?"
"Stop avoiding me. Stop ignoring me. Stop being nasty to me. Stop..." The rest of the words seemed to be stuck in Jessica's throat, and with much pain, she delivered them, "...hurting me."
The older girl lost herself for a second or two, her eyes registering those familiar, hurt filled eyes. She felt a sour feeling in her throat, but she swallowed it down. "I don't know what you're saying. Move aside."
"No." Just one word, but anyone could tell that Jessica's voice was shaking. "I'm not going anywhere, until you tell me what did I do wrong. What did I do to deserve this from you." Tears were beginning to well up in Jessica's eyes, and Taeyeon wasn't quite sure how long her heart would be able to take it this time.
The older girl let out a frustrated breath as she ran her fingers through her hair. "It's three in the morning. I need to sleep. We need to sleep. Our schedule starts at seven." When Jessica didn't reply, Taeyeon sneaked a peek at the girl and she immediately regretted doing that. Jessica wasn't looking at her, but her body was shaking from trying to hold back those tears. Taeyeon clenched her jaw, wanting so much to pull the girl into her arms, wanting to tell her that everything was alright, but she couldn't do it. "Sica, move aside." This time, she took on a much gentler tone, but it served no comfort to the girl.
"Is it because I'm taking more lines these days? And you don't like it? Is that the reason?" Jessica pained herself to ask Taeyeon, as she finally made eye contact with the leader yet again.
"No."
"Or...is it because I'm having more activities outside of our group? Jessica & Krystal... Those things...?" Jessica's tone was almost pathetic, she was so near to having her heart completely broken.
"No."
"Tiffany? Do you not like me being close with Tiffany...?"
"No. Jessica just what are you doing? Can we not do this in the middle of the night?"
"Then when?!" Jessica almost yelled back at her. "What...did I do wrong...?" A whimper escaped Jessica's lips as her tears flowed seamlessly.
Silence filled the kitchen as neither girls said anything for a while. Then, unexpectedly, Taeyeon spoke up, "Don't cry." Jessica only cried louder, and this time, tears began filling up Taeyeon's eyes. "Don't cry over me any more, Jessica." Jessica's tearful eyes widened in shock. "It's difficult for me, and it's difficult for you too."
"T-Taeyeon ah..." Jessica kept trying to find the answer in Taeyeon's eyes, but she wouldn't look back at her no matter what.
"I'm happy when you take more lines. You deserve it after all your hard work. I'm grateful when I see you embarking on new journeys. I know you have always wanted to try your hands on something different, and I'm glad you had the chance. Tiffany... I feel fortunate that at least...she can make you smile."
More tears filled the younger girl's eyes as she listened to the leader's words. She had thought that Taeyeon hated her more than anything, and the last thing she would ever have expected to happen was this. "I...I don't get it..."
Taeyeon only inhaled deeply, before she slowly let out that breath. the first stream of tears running down her face. "What am I to do, when the night you told us that you accepted his confession..." Taeyeon's lips trembled as she tried to control her tears, "...was the night I planned to tell you how much I love you?"

Hello, Aby! I hope you're doing good! I wanted to ask you if you follow any rules in your Polaris Legacy Challenge? Or do you just go with the flow? Additionally, if you pardon me, would you mind telling me if you use Wicked Whims by any means? I'm just looking for some wholesome and realistic animations and after seeing bits and pieces of your challenge (I'm on Gen 2 and progressing!) I assumed you might be using that mod. Love you and your Sims <3 P. S. Sorry for spelling, I'm not native lol
Please don't worry about the spelling, I'm not a native English speaker either and I make a ton of typos! 💕
I don't have rules for my legacy, I just decide on goals for my heirs depending on what part of the game I feel like exploring with that gen! And then well... generally no money cheats so it's more fun haha
About WW I only started using it a few months ago so anything spicy you see in Gen 2 are poses, and if it's about Loki and Cassie cuddling in bed it's a mod called 'Bed Cuddle' by ThePancake1 😊 If you are interested for WW I have animations by Kiki, Mia, Yummy-o-Tummy and GreyNaya!
I hope that helps!
