One of the things I love about Shivers & Monza is how I ship them more post-BSC than I did during BSC. By the end of BSC, Monza was much more self-aware, she was no longer consumed by a single-minded desire for revenge, and considering that Styria won three wars against the Union afterwards, not to mention how awesome Jappo, Vitari, and Shenkt are in AoM, I think it's fair to assume that Monza is now a highly competent leader. Likewise, Shivers's journey up to AoM is one of forgiveness, he comes to understand himself better and where he fits in the world, and in gaining a daughter-like figure in Rikke he shows that, while he can be a terrifying fighter, he would rather choose peace. He has learned to move forward in a way very few characters do. Both of them have!

Monza & Shivers in BSC were cute and toxic and disturbing. Monza & Shivers in AoM could probably take over the world. What they went through - including their breakup - made them better people.

All this to say, Jappo & Rikke!Parent Trap when?

If my eyes are correct, the urinal Sushi is standing on is a little bit lower than the other one. I assume for little boys usually.

I don't want to be mean, I am even smaller than Sushi (by 2 cm), but it looks so funny, and he looks even shorter in this picture.

I am tiny myself and I hate when I am at the bathroom where the mirror is positioned for tall people and I would have to jump to see anything :C

I guess he made life easier for himself there? Good for him? Would be a shame if he had to ask Jappo to give him a lift so he could piss xD

Iconic how Jappo had one single scene and he became a favourite. I wish there was more of him.

Ci sono donne che non hanno diritto a un'istruzione, a un lavoro, che non possono scegliere il compagno/a da amare oppure non possono lasciare il marito che qualcuno ha scelto per loro e che ne è diventato il padrone. Donne che non possono disporre della loro vita. Vivono in Afghanistan, Iran, Siria, Arabia Saudita e altri cento paesi in tutto il mondo. Sopravvivono, anzi. Ci sono donne vittime degli uomini, picchiate, uccise, violentate, considerate proprietà, "tu sei mia", talmente plagiate e sottomesse da confondere la violenza con l'amore. E questo succede nel mondo occidentale, ma un po' di più nel nostro Paese patriarcale, maschilista e gerontocratico. In Europa, in Italia soprattutto, ci sono donne che hanno in mano il potere e non fanno niente per le altre donne, anzi provano a riportarle indietro in quanto mogli madri e donne di casa, sono donne potenti ma quando qualcuno le attacca sul merito si difendono dicendosi discriminate in quanto donne, e lo dicono protette da guardie del corpo. Alle prime auguro di avere la forza per continuare a lottare e finalmente debellare un mondo e una religione che le vuole prigioniere. Alle seconde auguro di riuscire ad imparare dalle prime il coraggio per ribellarsi e riprendere in mano le loro vite. Alle ultime invece auguro di andare a visitare più spesso le persone che fuggono da guerre, carestie e persecuzioni, persone che hanno perso tutto, persino una speranza per il futuro, e non andare soltanto a dispiacersi davanti alle bambole di pezza dei bambini morti sotto le bombe russe. Si sporchino le mani e i vestiti di quelle persone, non spargano lacrime di coccodrillo davanti ai peluche.

Ecco, questo è il mio pensiero per un 8 marzo a due facce, diviso tra donne preoccupate che chiedono ai follower quale smalto abbinare alla borsa (non lo so, sto vagheggiando) o che si lamentano di non trovare posto il sabato sera al jappo dopo una settimana di lavoro duro e donne che vedono morire i propri bambini tra le braccia affamati, annegati o mutilati dalle bombe. Ognuna ha i suoi dolori, non intendo assolutamente criticare chi ha il privilegio di avere problemi più risolvibili, alcune hanno solo la colpa di essere nate dalla parte sbagliata del mondo.
