⛩Fushimi Inari Taisha (Kyoto, Japan) 🤓 Fun facts: “Inari” is the Shinto God of rice. The thousands of torii gates that we see at the shrine is the trail towards the forest of Inari Mountain.👍 Another fun fact is that long ago Origami Cranes are only used for religious purposes (As paper was expensive back in the day). I went to watch very valuable moment at Kitashinagawa,Tokyo. In the early morning, Harasu told me the exact time when “doctor yellow” (Yellow colored shinkansen which is train for inspection) , Shinkansen “Nozomi” (Bullet train across the Japan) and NEX (”Narita express” between Narita international air port and principal cities in Tokyo) come to the same point on the rail of JR east in Tokyo.  I understood that these 3 trains are like a star in Japan and this time is very valuable for my son.So I decided to go there on time. I shot the video that 3 train stars came across the same point.

More 1970s Citizen Homer love, this thing is in amazingly pristine condition. And the dial looks strikingly akin to porcelain - can anyone read the caseback?? . . From an excellent @fratellowatches article in mid-July 2019: "It seems that while Seiko owns the railway market with its pocket watches that are mounted on the dashboard of about every train I’ve ever been on in Japan, it was Citizen that formerly dominated the wrists of railway workers.  From the 1960’s through at least the first half of the 1970’s, the Citizen Homer Second Setting (along with an earlier, but similar “Ace” model) was the watch issued to workers.  Whether on the bullet train or a normal train, a Second Setting was the official timepiece... .
