I enjoyed the fact that we could experience the “Sailor Moon” area of Small Worlds mostly alone and I ran around like the 8 year old I still am, who fell in love with the franchise. It is very manga/SMC focused and there are no Outers in civics (crys) BUT there were so many stunning details that I need to do a follow-up later. Also also: the merch was incredible!!! I never get Inners stuff but this was so lovely done that I needed it!

📍Kinkaku-ji, Kyoto Also known as the “Temple of the Golden Pavilion” because of its facade, this pagoda is made to house relics of Buddha and was also named as a UNESCO World Heritage site. There is no travel guide for Kyoto without featuring Kinkaku-ji — and rightfully so! Now honestly, I have gone and seen this place twice already and surely, a third time would still take my breath away. On a still summer day, the Golden Pavilion would be perfectly reflected over on the pond surrounding it; and when the light hits the upper floors of the temple, which is covered completely with golden leaves, it is almost blinding to look at but nonetheless mesmerizing. Although the structure itself has been burned down several times over the years, Kinkaku-ji remains a symbol of the rich culture of Kyoto and its ancient life. The 30th of December marks the end of the working calendar for maiko and geiko. On New Years Eve some geiko and maiko will return to their hometowns to celebrate the New Year. Those who stay participate in 'Okotousan', an event where maigeiko san will walk around the neighbourhood and greet neighbours saying "okotousandosu" meaning it has been busy. They are given large pink and white balls made of dried mochi called 'fukudama' with gifts and lucky charms inside. It is a fun tradition in the kagai 🎍 👤: Junior maiko Satsuki 📸: fujingaho #traditions #traditional #funfacts #funfactfriday #facts #factsdaily #didyouknowthat #didyouknowthis #japan #kyoto #kimono #geisha #maiko #geiko #mochi #japaneseculture #japanesetradition #kioto #asia #azië #reizen #japansecultuur #wistjedat #feiten #traveler #travel #tourguide #japanguide #gids #travelguide (at Kyoto, Japan) https://www.instagram.com/p/Cmz_CiWKpyH/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

ENG/PL When you visit Mt. Haguro there is no chance you will miss the oldests Five-storied Pagoda in all of Tohoku. When Haguro Town was amalgamated into Tsuruoka in 2005, the city became one of the only municipalites in Japan, let alone the world, to possess two Five-storied Pagodas, the other located at Zenpoji. You will see it when you pass the Grandpa Cedar Tree, called Jijisugi,1000 year old and 43-meter high, the oldest cedar tree in the forest surrounding Mt. Haguro. Pagoda was originally constructed during the Heian Period (794-1185), and the current structure is believed to have been rebuilt in 1372. Some interesting info about pagoda: ✔ it preserves the original natural colour of the wood in what is called Shirakizukuri (bare wood construction) ✔ no nails were used in its construction ✔ each roof has been built in an ancient Japanese style called Kokerabuki (a roof covering made with a layer of thin wooden shingles made of cypress) ✔ unlike other pagodas found in Japan each roof is the same size (this way only the top roof has to counteract the weight of the snow, which sometimes can accumulate even up to 3 meters!) ✔ people from the province would for centuries take turns climbing the pagoda and clearing the snow from the roof ✔ pagoda is 29.9 meters high ✔ it has an earthquake dampening system inside, it's in a form of a huge swinging pendulum counteracting shakes and swaying to prevent the tower from collapsing ✔ it was designated as a National Treasure in 1966 Quite interesting story for a building in the deep forest, don't you think? I am always impressed by such news about something that many people rarely pay attention to. The history and nature are amazing!❤💚 ...........................................................
Giappone, Guida Lonely Planet
Tokyo, Guida Lonely Planet Pocket
Kyoto e Osaka, Guida Lonely Planet Pocket
Giappone, The Passenger - Per esploratori del mondo, AAVV, Iperborea
Iro Iro - Il Giappone tra pop e sublime, Giorgio Amitrano, Dea
Big in Japan - Come perdersi a Tokyo e imparare ad amarla, Dario Moccia e Tuono Pettinato, Rizzoli Lizzard
Wabi Sabi - Per artisti, designer, poeti e filosofi, Leonard Koren, Ponte alle grazie
Autostop con Buddha - Viaggio attraverso il Giappone, Will Ferguson, Feltrinelli traveller
Quaderni giapponesi, Igort, Coconino
Kokoro, Igort, Oblomov
Made in Japan, AAVV, Coconino
Nonnonba - Storie di fantasmi giapponesi, Shigeru Mizuki, Rizzoli
Nippon folklore, Elisa Menini, Oblomov

If you’re planning a trip to Japan, you’ll need to obtain a visa before you can enter the country. The good news is that the Japanese government has implemented an electronic visa program, which allows travelers to apply for and receive their visas online. Here is a step-by-step guide to applying for a Japanese Electronic Visa.
Step 1: Determine Your Eligibility
The first step in applying for a Japanese Electronic Visa is to determine if you are eligible for the program. The eVisa is available to citizens of over 60 countries, including the United States, Canada, Australia, and many European nations. You can check the official website of the Japanese government to see if your country is eligible.
Step 2: Gather Required Documents
Once you determine your eligibility, the next step is to gather the required documents for your application. You will need to provide a copy of your passport, a recent photograph, and evidence of your travel arrangements, such as flight tickets or hotel reservations. Make sure that all of your documents are in the correct format and meet the requirements set by the Japanese government.
Step 3: Fill Out the Application Form
The next step is to fill out the online application form. The form will ask for basic information such as your name, address, and passport details. You’ll also need to provide information about your trip, including your intended dates of travel and your accommodation in Japan. Make sure that all the information you provide is accurate and matches the information on your supporting documents.
Step 4: Upload Supporting Documents
After completing the application form, you’ll need to upload your supporting documents. Make sure that all your documents are in the correct format and meet the requirements set by the Japanese government. You’ll also need to upload a recent photograph that meets the specified requirements.
Step 5: Pay the Visa Fee
Once you’ve completed the application and uploaded your supporting documents, you’ll need to pay the visa fee. The fee can be paid online using a credit card. Make sure that you keep a copy of your receipt as proof of payment.
Step 6: Wait for the Visa Decision
After submitting your application, you’ll need to wait for the decision on your visa. In most cases, you’ll receive a decision on your application within three business days. If your application is approved, you’ll receive your eVisa via email. Make sure that you print out a copy of your eVisa and carry it with you when you travel to Japan.
Conclusion
Applying for a Japanese Electronic Visa is a convenient and efficient way to obtain the necessary travel authorization to visit Japan. By following the step-by-step guide outlined above, you can ensure that you have all the necessary information and documents to apply for and receive your eVisa in a timely manner. With the eVisa, you can enjoy a stress-free travel experience to Japan.
