It's the end of the day, the sun is setting, and the sparring match between you and Madara is almost finished as you heave in heavy breaths. It was a close one. Your love has trained you well, but you're still a good few years (decades) from beating him.
You take his hand to help you up and dust yourself off. You take the next few minutes trying to find all those kunai you threw. You can't be losing them, high quality weapons aren't cheap.
Cleaning up from today's training finally done, his kama put away with a soft clink of his metal. All that's left to clean up- yourselves. Looking at yourself, seeing all the dirt and small wounds.
Relaxing into the lightly steaming water, contrasting from the cooler cleanse moments ago. Madara starts giving a small lecture on how to properly take care of the wounds you got today. It's hard to pay attention to his words at the feeling of his calloused hands firmly checking over your body, the back of his mind chased by desperation to not lose another.
Madara finishes checking the bedroom for traps. Peace having occurred only so recently, habits have yet to change. Kneeling down beside you, he places a hand over your forehead, checking you've cooled down since the bath.
The cool night wind blows in a dance of deep flutes outside. The soft insulation of the covers hiding you from nature's breath. your ribs almost cry out, your mind humming contently. You'd say you're the safest person in the world at the moment.
Right in Madara's arms.

Really hope this wasn't ooc.
I would have made him talk more, but I was going for a dialogless [whatever this is]
Like I wanted him to have that slight gruffness, but also a slight bit of softness because love uwu. But also, he probably has certain habits he picked up from living during war. But I also didn't want it to come off unnecessarily paranoid.
I don't write much, so I'm always open to tips!

An oft malicious being, boroboroton is among the more actively dangerous tsukumogami. This malice is due to being born from the item's neglected and damaged status.

In my own apartment and usually even at friends houses, despite there being chairs, more than half the time I opt to sit or lay on the floor. Out of curiosity, do y'all do that? Reblog with nationality

Oh man! This hasn’t come up in any of the bed asks but: DO NOT KEEP YOUR MATTRESS FLAT ON THE GROUND. DON’T.
Get a flat ikea frame. Get a cheap Craigslist frame. Fortify yourself and get that fucker some ventilation by getting it off the ground.
Your humid human body creates the perfect conditions for mold and mildew growth, even in dry climates. You wouldn’t believe how many people mold up their bed by leaving it flat on the ground. It’s about airflow. It’s about heat dissipation. If you must have it on the ground at least put it in box springs.
Don’t have a moldy bed. Get a bed frame.
For the many folks asking the reason Japanese futons don’t do this is because the whole thing is moved, washed, and left to dry in sunlight. They know leaving it lying there would invite mold.
