I have not been keeping up to date here but hopefully I will put more effort in soon. I’ve been planning to open commissions but I’ve been procrastinating. Wide variety of fandoms and maybe some original art here.

You can kinda see the general pattern is I like it when people interact with my things but I can’t be consistent for the life of me. Sometimes if people bug me (affectionate) enough it will motivate me to continue something.

Did written RP on Pinterest every day for several years (and by extension learned English a lot better than what I already knew)

Didn’t learn start to English properly until I was done with it in school (16-17 years old I think?)

YouTube is my main source of entertainment, I watch Among us still almost every day (and other social deception games), also Minecraft (hermitcraft, life series),

Built my own computer so I could play the sims 3 again after almost 10 years without it (not only reason obviously)

The first sanders sides episode I ever saw was selfishness vs selflessness, purely because of Janus’ design being so jekyll and Hyde coded, I simply had to click it (j&h is one of my favorite character concepts of all time)

Most of my meaningful, longer lasting friendships were online ones

I may struggle to communicate in a group of 3+, but I rly like one on one conversations a lot

writing these random facts are so much easier to do like this than in person.

Next gen au: Children of Holt, Jackson and Claire

Before you guys ask, yes, they are the same person and before you guys try to complain that they are different heights Jekyll and Hyde were different heights anyways so hah.

Also sorry for poor image quality if you click on the pictures they’ll be in higher quality!... I think.

Anyways now on to the characters, First is JD.

When Claire and Jackson first started dating they were worried about including holt in the relationship even though Claire had learned to warm up to him over time, they thought it could get really hectic and end poorly like with Frankie but those fears soon disappeared.

After Henrietta was born they wondered since Claire was a human if Henrietta was gonna even have a Hyde side (they were especially worried because unlike her dad she didn’t even get triggered to switch from hearing loud music, they didn’t know what to do!), until one day they found out that it wasn’t music, it was adrenaline!

So after four years of waiting and a really bad sugar rush JD appeared and Holt decided to name him after Jackson and Deuces initials (but holt likes to make a lot of jokes about what it “really” stands for).

For a while things were pretty tame, normal stuff happened like playing with their second cousins (Heath and Abbey’s kids) visiting his “uncle” chad a ton and a lot of childhood injuries until one day something happened that threw everyone for a loop: JD came out as trans.

He was really scared about it but everyone was really accepting and gave him all sorts of support, Clair even bought him a binder the next day.

All this love and support not only made JD mature into a very happy young man it also made him very close with his family, especially Holt.

Holt even encouraged him to pursue art which later developed into his one true passion and gave him the idea to start posting his comics online, he’s also very close with him mom and other dad too but Holt will always be his hero.

He’s also got a deep love for skating and a certain half salt water half fresh water fish boy with boundary issues that I might make a post about if I ever draw him~.

He’s based off of Avril Levine, Pink and my friend Adrian.

As For Henrietta, she’s a smart woman and trust me she knows it.

She flaunts her intellect every where she goes and treats it as some sort of status symbol, she’s really stuck up and in her ways, she often has little patience for mistakes and thus treats beginners with either disdain or complete disregard.

She’s dedicated her whole life to science and she doesn’t like it when others try to treat it as something silly, let’s just say if she met miss frizzle from the magic school bus she would probably punch her.

She gets angry quite easily, doesn’t like most people and will insult you mercilessly if you offend her but don’t let that hard spikes exterior fool you because she does actually have a softer side that her class mates never see.

She’s very kind to her family and despite the fact she likes to boss her cousins around and use them for expirements she’s still protective of them, she loves venting her frustrations to her mother, doing expirements with Jackson and acting like a complete nut case with Holt.

There is no one on this earth though that is more important to her than her brother, JD.

They may not understand each other’s hobbies, JD may not like how she treats other kids and they may not be able to physically speak but they legitimately love each other and want to make each other happy.

They even have matching yin and yang friendship necklaces so that every time they are apart they have something to remind them of each other (even if they are a little sad that they will never be able to click them together).

They care about each other and even though she automatically hates everyone she meets she especially hates the people who mess with her brother.

She can act crazy or like a total maniac when she’s way to wrapped up in science and yes she might of blown up the school with pop rocks once or twice but she’s not impossible to get along with.

Plus if you really wanna get to her heart, give her a baking soda volcano and she’ll absolutely melt at the sight and go into a huge speech about how it’s science in its purest most young and sweet form.

She’s based off of Anton Ego from ratatouille, Principle Scudworth from Clone high and Janus from sander sides.

Sanderstober Day 8! Happy Halloween from the Sides! We have Patton as a cat, Roman as Julius Caesar, Logan as Dr. Jekyll (not neccesarilly Mr. Hyde, after all, Logan has no emotions *wink wink*), Virgil as Mothman, Janus as the Phantom of the Opera, Remus as Slenderman, and a little cameo from the Mysterious Orange Side as a ghost. Reasoning for each costume varies between “I think its funny” (Patton, Virgil, Remus, and Janus), funny/depressing depending on how you feel about the Shakespeare play about the costume (Roman), and something that really only makes sense if you are familiar with the source material (Logan). Dr. Jekyll wanted to be able to engage in actions that would be... unbecoming of such a pillar of the community, so he created a chemical alter ego in order to do the actions without consequence. I just felt that might fit with Logan depending on how much you believe Logan when he says he “has no emotions”.

Unfortunately my wrist sort of hurts so I won’t be able to do Inktober day 8 today or my art will suffer (more), so I’ll probably just combine the next two prompts or something. See you tomorrow and goodnight!

JANET.

Janet ‘Joy Kell’ is a play on words that Janus is / was very amused by - two plays on words in fact. Joy Kell aka Jekyll (Jekyll/Hyde) and as in joykill because as much of a necessity as his human counterpoint is it’s also a total buzz kill to need one. 

Basically, Janet thinks she’s just a normal human woman.  She has memories of a normal human life, every cycle, a mix of good and bad, normally she’s freshly arrived in whatever city, she’s a scientist in whatever specialty of the era ends up catching Janus’ attention most.

As Janus’ power increases and his control increases, the human ego may experience missing time, have memories or bleed over in abilities / sight that cause what equates to hallucinations, hearing voices or experiencing strange / supernatural occurrences, etc.  On occasion in the past this has resulted in the human ego being diagnosed as having schizophrenia or mpd / did etc. and has resulted in wrongful incarceration in mental institutions, asylums, or on rare occasion, prisons, if things went increasingly wrong.  

JEREMIAH.

Jeremiah is a philanthropist playboy with a love of fine art, fine dining and never staying in one place long. Occasionally works as an art restoration expert and historian also aka forger for his own amusement. Specializes in Ancient Greek artifacts and mythos. 

Jeremiah, who is the ‘in the know’ alter ego who is in varying degrees of strength / power / ability to control his magics and whether or not he can actually seize control etc.   He uses Janet and her ignorance and seeming humanity to hide himself, to stay off the radar from other gods, old or new, or other powers that might be trying to hunt him or take advantage of him in his weakened state. 

JANUS.

Janus’ memories of previous cycles and encounters had are dimmer and harder to recall the earlier on he is in a new cycle. This is one of many reasons he tends to ‘hide’ in the mortal mien of his hunan alter ego so that if he has made new enemies or allies he will have time to regather his thoughts and memories from previous cycles before encountering any of either ( hopefully ). The older a memory the easier it is to recall however as his power weakens as a whole / as mankind’s faith in the pantheons fades his clarity overall diminishes as does his overall power level. ( re: American Gods etc. ) Individual people’s faith / the worlds faith in him as a deity affects his power for better or worse. However one persons true faith in him as a deity or a personage of power can give him an incredible, albeit, temporary boost in times of emergencies; for this reason he has a small collection of scholars and monks etc around the world that he keeps on ‘retainer’ and returns to every few years / every decade or so in every cycle to bolster their belief.

His human ego’s belief in science rather than magic or religion does not usually affect Janus. If anything it helps mask his presence from other entities to some degree because of the banality that the firm and dogged belief in science and logic over mysticism usually exudes in his host.

MISC.

Janet and Jeremiah have different residences and live different lives. Each have legal paper trails and histories that should stand up to most mundane checks. 

Much like Dawn being woven into peoples memories upon creation Janet and Janus are interposed into memories where necessary - school friends, old coworkers / employers etc. Highly adept magic users would be able to sense discrepancies and mortal investigations might reveal a lot of hazy facts in terms of details about either Janet or Janus but it would take a fair bit of work on anyone’s part to really tear the embedded memories and histories apart. 

Cycles may last only a few years or upwards of a few decades depending on what other entities / creatures / deities janus and his human ego encounter along the way.  creating false identities and appropriate paper trails and files in modern day systems isn’t particularly difficult for janus but it can use up an extensive amount of power to alter reality, especially at the decline of a previous cycle which is why it can take time for him to recharge.

Faces and genders vary in different cycles.  Sometimes it’s a m/f or f/m combo, sometimes it’s m/m sometimes it’s f/f.  It’s pretty random.  The two halves do usually share similarities in features but have never been identical.

This art is just old enough that I kind of hate it but recent enough that I can appreciate parts of it. The Arbiter from chess the musical in the chess dimension. You know, the chess dimension. We’ve all seen it. This was part of a kind-of-dtiys on the chess discord a while ago where several of us shared our arbiter designs.

I screwed myself over by not making a unique tag for my own posts since the beginning so now that I’m trying to find all the art I posted it’s a nightmare. Also apparently I barely posted anything. I thought I posted a lot more but maybe I just kept forgetting. Like I swear I had more than one chess art post… if I did I cannot find it whatsoever

One of my favorite pieces of all time. Redraw of a Disney fairies illustration. Rani was my favorite when I was very young (before Vidia stole her spot). I used to check out the same Disney fairies books over and over just to look at the art again.

okay, so im gonna talk about my three favorites from pathfinder sessions (none of which have had a full campaign yet :/ )

first was a gunslinger dhampir.

david fallhaven. his first name was what his mother wanted to call him but his father said no, his last name was the town he was born in.

his mother was infected by a vampire, treated with prayer and folk remedies. she didn’t turn, but her son was born half-vampire. a dhampir.

his father was a logger and a drunkard. not around much. disappeared when david was two.

long story short, the fearmongering townspeople burned down David’s house the moment he moved out, and ended up catching the whole town on fire because the houses were log and thatch.

he moved out, learned the art of gunpowder, and spent the latest thirty years of his life as the gunpowder paladin of the neutral goddess of death.

last I played him, he found a fish princess and was helping her get home.

next was a human alchemist.

he was named janus rangbull. he was the third son of the king, and he was the stereotypical rebel prince.

he studied alchemy instead of court conduct, blew up half his room, and got kicked out by his dad. he’s not unhappy with it, especially since his dad didnt cut off his funds.

he was nearing Jekyll & Hyde territory with his mutagens. that would’ve been fun.

last was my tengu alchemist.

Ryuk Redfeather, the travelling merchant. he dyed part of his head feathers red because ‘stupid humans cannot tell ryuk from crow.’

he got the least screentime, but I know that he was afraid of thunder, followed a travel goddess, and spoke in the third person.

i had two sessions as him.

i miss all these guys.

know what, I can’t get enough of hearing about other people’s dnd characters. I just love it. seeing what folks come up with. I love seeing a character and being like “I never ever would’ve thought of this character!! thank you!! for bringing this unique thing into the world!!” love that.

Spinel is from @fusionlads AU, a triplet of Seán, Daniel, and Spiff. They came into existence to fight the magma demon formed by Kevin, Daithi, and Brian. They have godlike powers and a savior complex.

This is from half a year ago I can’t believe I never posted it. Or if I did I completely lost the post. I’m still pretty proud of how it turned out.

Weird thing I did for a school assignment last year. We had to make an object on adobe illustrator and fill it with 50 patterns. I was sick of using the computer mouse so I did it on my iPad with my finger instead. Adobe Illustrator is not designed to be used like this. It made my device super hot. I tried to recreate this in a physical medium recently and I more or less succeeded.

Another one of my favorite art pieces of all time. This was from my intense Buzzfeed Unsolved/Watcher hyperfixation era. I’m not gonna tag it as such because Watcher has a tumblr account and that scares me. Anyway this is Ryan Bergara if he was a pixie hollow fairy. He’s a story telling talent who loves telling ghost stories and legends about Neverland mysteries.

This was the peak of my watercolor brush skill on Autodesk sketchbook. Idk where it all went. Sometimes the stars align and art turns out exactly how you wanted it.
