what makes you like a song?: oooh okay. for me, melody comes first and foremost. like can i bop to this? or is it boring? i’ll like any song if it slaps, simple as that. second to that is like, poetic lyricism. are the words too simple, too obvious, or do they make me think? that part’s not always important, but it certainly elevates any artist in my mind. that’s about it... moral of the story: make it interesting!

fave instrument to hear in a song: okay listen i kick myself for this all the time. i am TERRIBLE at identifying specific instruments. but i think i like uhh xylophones, marimbas, things like that. you get me. also celestas. and harpsichords and organs, though that’s pretty rare. and of course a good violin bit will always take a bitch out
