All of the members of the various rock groups were acquainted with and hung out together in the 60s and 70s -- as in, loosely or closely traveled in the same circles, frequented the same clubs, etc. Pete Townsend definitely knew and very much admired Jane Asher. Here's one quote he gave about her: "...I remember going to a lunch gathering with Barry and Sue Miles. Barry was a founder of the Indica Bookshop, a radical establishment selling books and magazines relating to everything psychedelic and revolutionary. I met Paul McCartney properly there, with his girlfriend, actress Jane Asher. Paul had helped fund Indica, and he seemed much more politically savvy than any other musician I’d come across. He was clear-thinking and smart, as well as charming and essentially kind. Jane was well-bred, polite and astonishingly pretty; behind the demure exterior simmered a strong personality, making her the equal of her famous beau." And that's not all. Pete Townsend admitted to having a massive crush on Jane and lusting after her. Townsend famously said, "All of us had our Patsy Kensits that we lusted after. I wanted to f**k Jane Asher..." Did any of the Beatles girls know The Who or were friends with any of them ?

I’m not sure, I don’t think they were exactly close with any of them.

I assume Maureen had some kind of friendship with Keith Moon, because Keith and Ringo were very good friends and he was the godfather of one of their kids (zak starkey) so those two probably knew each other and she probably liked him if she agreed to him being the godfather!

Cynthia Lennon really liked Keith and had this to say about him in her book ‘’Who drummer Keith Moon and I had wonderful philosophical conversations whenever we met. Despite his mad rocker image i found him serious-minded and I was sad when, a decade later, he had died so young’’

I believe Linda was friends with Keith to some extent as well? Keith was pretty good friends with Paul so I think him and Linda were friends too. Keith also spent the last night of his life at a McCartney party so there’s that.

I really don’t know his relationship with the other beatles girls, but here’s a picture of Pattie and Eric attending Keith’s funeral

and also a picture of Keith and Yoko in the same room together  during rehearsals for the Rolling Stones Rock and Roll Circus in London in 1968

Pete Townshend I’m aware wasn’t really close to any of them. I don’t think he was close to the Beatles in general.

Pete and Eric were pretty good friends, I remember some story about how he even talked to George to keep him distracted so Eric could convince Pattie to run away with him.

also here’s a quote from Pete about Pattie

“George Harrison arrived a little later with his girlfriend, Pattie Boyd. Pattie was immediately open and friendly. She had the kind of face you could only see in dreams, animated by a transparent eagerness to be liked.”

I believe Pete was also friendly with Paul and Linda. Idk how close they were, but I’m sure they went to same events often and would run into each other and mingle.

the most information I can find about Roger knowing the beatles girls is in 1976 he went to a buddy holly luncheon with Linda and Paul

Pattie and Eric were also there, so he could have run into Pattie as well. Roger’s wife was also pretty good friends with Linda, so I assume he was probably quite friendly with Linda as well.
