Last night I dreamt that Lin-Manuel Miranda played Christian in Moulin Rouge and I woke up laughing to Lin singing El Tango de Roxanne. I love Lin but that's not a role for him

Leelathae (Queen Lilyth)'s Ghost Theory
I honestly want to write much longer but held back because brainrot currently (anxiety attack and very unfocused even doing what I like, my Coping escape mechanism failed in the face of looking red deadline IRL) - enough about me!
Just wanna share my theory that actually the first theory that I wrote in Discord but never share here at CPC BLR. The statement of theory
"What if another 'off-comment' from Frederick becomes big plot point, with the following pieces shown that the item (confirmed Potrait) that Leland stole more than decade ago from Pastel Palace - actually keep Leelathae's soul/spirit/ghost and could help Gwen?" Confirmed in the Unhappily-ever-after episodes
The other thing that I could see happen im the future which is the remain episodes of CPC is, (see after the following 2 images) Lilyth's ghost seeps in Gwen's dream as 'warm and glowy' entity yet not only reminder that Gwen and her are beautiful in their own way, pointing out how similar their interaction with their romantic loved ones (Jack and Frederick) - Lilyth'll shown Gwen that none all her faults, everyone loves her espc Frederick shown to genuinely loves her instead Gwen's initial thought that he never loves her
I wonder how LambCat incorporate with CPC main theme of "self-love" as some still iffy or rightfully concerned with tethering self-opinion of Gwen to Frederick's opinion, but I hope this the right step! Already imagined the scene of Gwen found her mother in the Crystal room of Jamie's Art Show thus the Summarized content of Lilyth's diary told to her which helps Gwen more confidence w/ herself
^ Episode 6 and 48 reference, we know from newest free pass episode it become huge foreshadowing of the "haunted Potrait"
Somehow I feel Lilyth is like Nadeshiko Kinomoto from Cardcaptor Sakura, the mother of the MC Sakura Kinomoto. Nadeshiko passed away from long time ago but she keep her Family safe as 'a ghost' - somehow I think Lilyth kind of like that ghost
^ This is Nadeshiko, she and Lilyth both have wavy hair and being a "ghost" 0.0
I have Faith in LambCat to make beautiful ending for CPC there! And being a ghost often time could give warm and glowy feeling espc to the family members - instead scared
^ The part of the CPC webtoon banner seen on mobile / LINK image
Could it be that Leelathae's ghost will meet when Gwen in this part of her future dreamscape.. the Crystal Room of Jamie's Art Show? Another foreshadowing from LambCat? Gwen already wrote her mom's robe in dream
^ If this become another foreshadowing? From the CPC OST VOL. 10
P.S: The What-If
Tbh Leland perfect ending for him pay his karma to me -> Him cursed to swapped place with Leelathea to be trapped in the potrait instead (the only downside is the witch's term)
Like what if No one will ever listen to home ever again (like someone that considered going senile) - while all his Family members then finally free from him (with Isolde help career of LeoMie in road of beauty of the food, when she's finally free means she could do anything + I hope she back to emo style again, it really suits her ngl ) + (In the end, Frederick officially supporting CPC that become public [my theory of CPC ending, one of ideal but could be dangerous-thou-I-believe-they-can-manage-it] and happily ever after with Gwendolyn) + (sorry for Blaine and Lance fans there, but I think they're best if going therapy Whitney-style goes to the monastery - it simple life but bet free of toxicity that they're keep exposed too long) .. also idk Jack and Leland resolution, but Jackie also need to get his 'bubble' pop off and waking up to reality -> that he doing the very thing that he hates everyone's expectation to him, to his own daughters
#cpc#spoiler#theories#cursed princess club#me back with theory#actually it my oldest in reddit based discord server but I remember never share in Tumblr#cardcaptor sakura reference#spirit or ghost lore

hmmm 15, 19, qnd 22 for the dawn machine arc and/or parabolan reflection WIPs? (or clockwork sun? i get them confused)
(dawn machine is the one in fl, clockwork sun is the one in skies! harry tuffs writes about both-)
15. Do you have any unwritten scene that you think about a lot?
all of them so ill just pick a couple here
Reflection Wip:
The scene that plays out during the 1v1 of Alex vs Alex's Reflection, after it drags him through the mirror and into his own dreamscape. this scene would involve alex fighting through the series of obstacles his reflection had set against him. The culminates into a spiraled version of the waswood - here Alex comes across numerous items from the past, each triggering a different memory in reverse chronological order. The last item is an old match box. the last memory is a burning house.
Dawn Machine Arc:
Right near the end, following the rescue and subsequent hard choice that had to be made to release Alex from the dawn machines hold, Fires witnesses Alexs return to conciousness and his embracing of his friends. Its occurs to Fires that what he shares with those two is not what he could ever feel for it - this bothers it for some reason, and it storms out of the room during the scene. (to which later Alex, still unable to see again yet, goes to find it and have a conversation about whatever happened that he cant remember)
19. Is there any scene that you feel is really planned out/going to be really planned out?
these fics are all planning and little writing so far to be quite honest.
Honestly for the reflection fic i feel like the scene I have of Alex and Jamie having a conversation just before the reflection fight is the most planned out - its an important point because its the first time Alex begins to externally discuss his internal feelings (which is the catalyst that allows the final moments with his reflection and dealing with his feelings)
Dawn Machine arc i think the initial confrontation in parabola will be fairly planned out - considering i drew part of it already - and its an important moment where characters motivations and reveals overlap; we find out where Alex is, and Josephine and Fires' search crosses paths.
22. Will this fic include more angst or more fluff?
These are both. Fairly? angsty honestly. Like balanced angst, i dont do grimdark. but they are keen in point in regards to emotional exploration for alex and fires.

Bernard Sumner: Cash For Questions, Q Magazine 1999 (article in text below:)
Cash 4 Questions with Barney By David Quantick
© 1999 Q
He is half of Electronic, a quarter of New Order and isn’t he a naughty fellow! You blamed him for Keith Allen and asked him about as many drugs as there are drugs. In return, he denied ever having "touched himself". Meet the people Bernard Sumner.
Bernard Sumner is looking rather well. In rude health, even. This may be because Bernard Sumner has stopped eating pasties, but it’s more likely because the night before Manchester United won a football match against some Germans.
In a West London hotel, the only non-purple star called Barney lounges on a well-stuffed sofa nursing a half-bottle of Chardonnay. In spite of his numerous 43 years -20 of them spent as a member of Joy Division, New Order, Electronic, and, if you want to be pedantic, Englandneworder, the short-lived rock/footie conglomeration that brought you the rapping of John Barnes - he appears younger than he has any right to.
Moreover - bucking his Mr Miseryguts reputation - Summer appears delighted to answer even the readers’ ugliest questions. Some of his replies maybe tongue-in-cheek, and some are, frankly, lies. He may, charmingly, have faith in the beauty of moustaches, he may be eerily loath to reveal the secret of his morphing surname, but the former Bernard Dicken is proving an amenable chap. Just don’t call him Warsaw, that’s all.
Q opens the ceremonial geography project folder of questions, Sumner sips his Chardonnay and off we go.
Words David Quantick
Is True Faith about ecstasy? Trisha Farmer. Hull No. It’s about drug dependency. I don’t touch smack but when I wrote that song I tried to imagine what it’s like to be a smackhead and nothing else matters to you except that day’s hit. There’s a line in the song, “When I was a very young boy, very young boys played with me/Now we’ve grown up together, they’re afraid of what they see." The original was, “Now they’re taking drugs with me,” but Stephen Hague our producer made us change it because he said it wouldn’t be a hit if we kept that line in. He was right. It was a very big hit, but we chickened out. I change it back sometimes live.
Given your chemically excessive past, what is your parental advice to your kids concerning drugs? Anthony Clifford, Taunton Don’t go anywhere near heroin or crack or acid. Taking ecstasy’s like Russian roulette, except you've got 99,000 bullets that are empty and one that’s loaded. I don’t know anyone who’s taken cocaine where it hasn’t become a friend for life. Although you can say the same for cigarettes. I don’t smoke marijuana, but if you’re going to take a drug, that’s the best one. It’s not as bad for you as alcohol and it makes people mellow and friendly, Unfortunately, it just makes me go to sleep.
Do you still have a receiver in your head? Noel Edmunds, via e-mail I think I know what this is about. I think I came out in an interview with some bullshit answer to a question about howl wrote music. I said that I had a television aerial in my head and it picked ideas out ofthe ether and I used to work at night when everyone was asleep. Maybe I did write in a different way in those days. I think now I’ve not got that many problems in my life, I want to write songs about the ones I have got, rather than that kind of... dreamscape. I used to be pretty sort of dreamy and go off on one. I still can do it. I sat in my room for twelve hours just not watching television or anything, just thinking.
What made you piss yourself on Every Little Counts? Jamie BIundell, Rednal The words were so bad, basically (“I think you are a pig/You should be in a zoo”). We kept it on because it was better than the original lyric.
What’s your excuse for having a moustache when you were Warsaw? Ursula Stevenson, Reading It’s a popular misconception that we were called Warsaw. We were never called Warsaw. At our first concert we changed it to Joy Division (He is reminded of the question) The moustach? I’d forgotten all about that. In those days moustaches were really big. The thing I was embarrassed about was it was a bumlluff moustache that didn’t quite join in the middle. Bit like Noel’s eyebrows. No, the opposite of Noel’s eyebrows. It looked like I had Noel’s eyebrows on my lip. I’ll stand by my moustache. If you look at most pop stars, you’ll find some kind of styling error in their past history.
When joy Division started, why did you keep changing your surname, from Dicken to Albrecht to Sumner? Dove Clarke, Salford Family reasons. I’d rather not go into it.
Ian Curtis, 1999 - what would he be up to? Matt Palmer, Worcestershire It’s hard to imagine because Ian was very ill. I can’t imagine him in the ‘90s. He once threatened to go off and leave the group and buy a corner shop in Bournemouth. It was an off-licence that sold books as well, I think that was his idea. These mad, completely illogical thoughts used to come into his head from time to time. So maybe eventually he would have done that. I think he would have been a writer, because he was always reading books and he was always writing anyway. Or maybe he would have retired a millionaire by now, who knows? Silly sod.
Is it true that Touched By The Hand Of God is about whacking off Aidan Vaziri, San Francisco (Long pause followed by wide-eyed response) What’s whacking off mean? (It is explained to him) I would not write a song about masturbating, No, it’s not, most definitely isn’t. And I've never done that in my life ever. Ever. Do people really do that? Masturbate? Do you masturbate? I’ve never done it ever in my life. I’ve certainly never written a song about it. (Confidentially) It’s about bestiality, actually.
Do you regret doing that Prozac documentary? Wasn’t it a rather strange thing to do? Damon Williams, Bromley I regret it but not bitterly. It was interesting tak-ing Prozac because I don’t really suffer from depression but I can be a melancholic sort of person. It was interesting being a different person for seven months. It really agreed with me. I still think it’s a very, very interesting drug. I found when I took it if I had problems, then instead of me crumbling before my problems, I would deal with the problems.
Quote a lyric from the second Electronic album that isn’t from the single, Forbidden City. William Haas, Winchester Um... I honestly can’t be bothered. You tell me. What a trainspotter. All right, here’s one: “Misguided youth/You mix some juice with alcohol." It’s from Liquor.
Finish the sentence, in less than 10 words, “Manchester is great because..." Carl Hedges, Liverpool We’ve got the best football team, we've got the best bands, we’ve got the best gang violence scene anywhere in Britain, It’s always sunny there, it never rains...
You and Michael jackson are the only pop stars who whoop. Discuss. Heather Thompson, London NB Ha ha ha! Well, I get excited. Whoopings a primeval expression of enjoyment, and sometimes if I’m getting into a vocal take, I just get into it. If I’m at a club, I like whistling... I was at a club in Bath and this girl got a bouncer over to stop me (demonstrates incredibly powerful, piercing whistle). I don’t get excited very often but when I do, I get really excited. I’ll stop doing it now, I’ll get self-conscious about it.
When did you last touch Pernod? Steve Heath, Keighley Um... Well, Pernod’s been replaced by Absinthe. There’s this whole ritual where you bake some up on a spoon, a bit like freebasing. That stuff’s like rocket fuel, I had a couple of nights with Alex James out of Blur, a couple of disastrous nights drinking Absinthe, and I don’t even remember drinking it.
Have you ever been down to your last dollar and how did you cope? Adrian Gibbon, Bassetbury Balloons Party Shop, High Wycombe It was on New Order’s first US tour and I didn’t really get the idea of tipping - I’m a bit of a tight bastard and I find the whole idea of tipping abhorrent. We bought a beer in a club and it was 75 cents, So I thought, well, you’ve got to tip here or they'll go fucking mad. I only had a dollar, I didn’t have any more money so I him the dollar and said, Keep the change, and he went, "You fucking Manc bastard," and threw the 25 cents at me.
Do you own a Sainsbury’s reward card? Jill Cash, Amersham I do, but it’s mysteriously gone missing. I probably left it in the toilet somewhere. I keep losing odd credit cards,,, It didn’t have many points on it because I cashed it. I have a special platinum reward card. You get more points than other people, being a celebrity and that.
I saw you purchase a tuna sandwich from Spinks in Wilmslow. It was a cold day - why didn’t you buy a pasty like me? Were you trying to be hard? Andy Parr, Maclesfield Ha ha ha! I’m trying to lose a bit of weight, that’s why! Tuna's much more healthy for you and I'm trying to go on a health kick. I can’t eat pasties any more without affecting my, ah, already fragile waistline.
What’s the most unusual place you’ve had sex? Polly Winterton, London W12 I couldn’t possibly tell you without offending someone. Um... ah... I might get in trouble. I'm trying to think of which particular unusual place out of all the unusual places...
Don’t you feel ashamed for having started Keith Allen out in his pop career? K Allen (thankfully no relation), Bromley Heh heh heh! K. Allen? Um... em... I think Keith’s made a wonderful contribution to pop. I think the Fat Les records are some of the all-time classic songs that’ll go down as... ‘90's classics. I’m very proud of Keith’s contribution to pop music and I’m sure that every time there’s some kind of football event to cash in on... er! help to promote I’m sure Keith’ll be there with one of his wonderful renditions.
What’s your best Shaun Ryder story? Jane Smith, Liverpool Which one? I’ve got about three. He went out in his car to score and he crashed into a vicar in a Lada. He had 500 quid in his pocket and he said to the vicar, "Look, mate, your car’s not worth 500 quid, I’ll give you this ifyou don’t call the cops." He was a vicar and he wouldn’t take it, so Shaun said, "Well, fuck off then," and got in his car and drove off. About ten minutes later, the police knocked at his house and he said, how did you find me so quick? And they just showed him his number plate. He’d left his number plate at the scene of the crime. What else? There’s a few disgusting ones...
Did you really do a version of Blue Monday for a Sunkist ad? If so, how did the lyrics go? Peter Rees, Shrewsbury (Recites) "How does it feel/When you’re drinking in the sun? Something something something/Sunkist is the one/How does it feel/When you’re drinking in the sun/All you’ve got to believe/Is Sunkist is the one" I didn’t write them. We got offered £100,000 to do it. I kept laughing when I was singing it, so Hooky (Peter Hook, New Order bassist) got a piece card and wrote “£100,000” on it, held it up, and I sang it perfectly. But then Rob Gretton (New Order’s late manager) turned up and put the kibosh on it. There’s a remix of Blue Monday by Steve “Silk” Hurley and it’s got the Sunkist lyrics on it.
People who bought the Electronic album probably see it as a substitute for New Order, and primarily use Electronic to fill the gap until the next New Order album What do you think of that? Nicklas Mandahl Enevaldsen, Denmark Well... very pleased. Fucking hell, what do you expect me to say? Um... Thank God not everybody’s like that.
Former Factory Records boss Tony Wilson comes to you with a sure-fire business proposition that “just can’t fail”. What do you do? Kevin Leslie, Oldham Ha ha! Ha ha! Piss myself laughing. In fact that’s what happened when we were recording Every Little Counts... Tony came in with a sure-fire business proposition.
Does Steven (Morris, New Order drummer) let you play with his tank? Lee Hollows, Birmingham I’ve sat in his tank, yeah. Steve’s got a tank that he has permanently pointed at my house. Me and Steve play with it and we’re in training for Kosovo. When the troops go in, we hope be in the vanguard of operations. We’re keeping the gun well-oiled and we’re going to shove it right up Slobodan’s arse. In fact, someone up the road from Steve’s had the same tank, and they’ve got a slight design fault which means that you’re driving along and swerve, it’s uncontrollable, and this guy’s tank did this and decapitated his wife. It was because it was on the news and there was a picture of Steve’s tank - we were “Steve’s crashed the tank and Gillian’s been decapitated”. So I don’t think I’ll be going in it again.
What’s your favorite memory of Rob Gretton? Ruth Quest, Gloucester (long pause) um.,. Rob used to say to everyone, “What are you doing?” nothing, Rob, nothing: “What should you be doing? Skin up!” I’ll remember those words.

Panda Bear Unveils “Sinister Grift” with the Warm, Experimental Glow We Didn’t Know We Needed
Panda Bear, the solo moniker of Animal Collective’s Noah Lennox, is set to release his latest full-length album, Sinister Grift, on February 28, 2025, via Domino. Recorded at Lennox’s Estudio Campo in Lisbon, the album marks a reunion with longtime collaborator and Animal Collective bandmate Josh Dibb (a.k.a. Deakin), who co-produces the project. Today, Panda Bear offers a first taste with the single “Defense,” featuring Cindy Lee—an alter ego of Canadian musician Patrick Flegel—on guitar. “Defense” is an immediate standout, a swirling blend of warm guitar riffs and Lennox’s unmistakable vocal delivery, transporting listeners into a dreamscape that’s both immersive and disarmingly tender. The accompanying video enhances the track’s introspective charm, drawing viewers deeper into the song’s hypnotic pull. A 7” single of “Defense,” featuring the exclusive B-side “Virginia Tech,” will be available on October 18 at select indie stores, giving fans a bonus glimpse into Lennox’s evolving sound. Pre-orders for Sinister Grift include limited-edition vinyl options—Clear (Domino Mart exclusive) and Curacao Blue (indie exclusive)—as well as a standard LP, CD, and digital release. Fans will also receive a double-sided 12”x36” poster with every vinyl copy, and a limited-edition album shirt is up for grabs via Domino’s store. While Sinister Grift is the first Panda Bear solo album in five years, it feels more like a culmination of Lennox’s entire career. From the genre-bending triumph of Person Pitch (2007) to the kaleidoscopic electronics of Panda Bear Meets the Grim Reaper (2015), Lennox has maintained a rare consistency across wildly diverse projects. His work with Animal Collective—think Sung Tongs (2004) and Merriweather Post Pavilion (2009)—and collaborations with artists like Daft Punk, Solange, and Jamie xx have only cemented his legacy as a sonic visionary. Sinister Grift signals a new creative chapter, with Lennox leaning into an organic, ensemble-like feel. This time, Panda Bear’s experimental edge is infused with a warmth and immediacy that feels fresh, almost familial. Playing most instruments himself, Lennox enlists collaborators like Cindy Lee, Spirit of the Beehive’s Rivka Ravede, and—perhaps most notably—all of his Animal Collective bandmates, making their first collective appearance on one of his solo records. With Sinister Grift, Lennox once again demonstrates his uncanny ability to weave the familiar with the unexpected, crafting a sound that’s simultaneously intimate and expansive. It’s a reminder that even after two decades, Panda Bear’s creative flame burns as brightly—and unpredictably—as ever. Read the full article

Quirky Horror Chiller EVERWINTER NIGHT Summoned on VOD
In the dead of winter, the time of their lives has just run out. Like Midsommar meets Chasing Amy by way of The Shining, indie horror-comedy Everwinter Night is available now via Prime Video.
Lifelong best friends Maddy and V set out for a relaxing vacation. When their old college clique hijack their plans, V finds herself at a remote ski lodge where a group of mysterious wealthy men throw a celebration a century in the making.
The unique blend of slow-burn tension, quirky humor, and chilling horror is directed by Adam Newman from a script he co-wrote with Chris Goodwin. Victoria Mirrer, McKenna Parsons, Goodwin, Jamie Dufault, and indie horror darling Sarah Nicklin (The Retaliators, The Black Mass) star.
The unconventional production was the result of a different movie being cancelled at the last minute due to unforeseen complications. With a cast and crew two days out from filming on location in New Hampshire, a completely new story was conceived on the fly using the resources available.
"The shoot was unlike anything we had ever done or heard of before," explains Newman. "After our 12-hour shoot days, we had to head back to our rooms to write the scenes for the following day, trusting in the story that we had assembled only days before and in the talented cast and crew that stuck with us through it all. Somehow, in the chaos, we were able to craft a personal story that mixes a lot of what we love in horror movies: characters you love - or love to hate - plus fun kills and story-fueled scares."
Everwinter Night marks the inaugural feature from Dreamscape Productions. Following a successful festival run that included winning Best Feature at the Central Florida Film Festival, the New Hampshire-based production company has opted to self-distribute the film.
Keep your friends close and your enemies forever with Everwinter Night, available to rent for only $1.99 or purchase for $4.99: amzn.to/3Pci0qw

'Approaching Andrew Haigh’s bewitching “All of Us Strangers,” it’s best to submit to the film’s every whim. This intimate, heartbreaking fantasy centers around an irresistible premise: what if we had more time with someone we lost? Taking it further, Haigh (45 Years) cranks up the emotional stakes: what if that person, those people, weren’t actual angels but warm bodies with the capacity to express true love and dish out judgment and pain in equal measure. Backed by a stunning foursome (Andrew Scott, Paul Mescal, Claire Foy, and Jamie Bell), Haigh’s film earns and rewards the audience’s buy-in. Avoiding rote sentimentality, “Strangers” trades on the considerable chemistry between its key performers (Scott and Foy especially) to spin an imaginative conceit into an extraordinary fable which layers on the heartbreak, offering a complex tribute to love, death and life itself.
Watching a movie in a theater can feel like a public event; but really, it’s a private experience, since each person brings their own histories—all of the hurt, loss, and hope—into a viewing. The moments that sting in “Strangers” might vary from person-to-person, but the suffering rendered is ample, spread fairly evenly among the stars. Far from a dreary downer, Haigh deals with loneliness and loss with a roving, curious eye, going for the jugular and then pulling back, giving all viewers room to process what’s happening on screen and make those fictional maladies our own. At no point does Haigh or any of his game cast feel like they’re overdoing it, nor manipulating emotions for easy tears. The waterworks come, to be sure, but it’s the personal baggage that each viewer carries which will dictate the response, and that’s a testament to the story’s depth.
Of Time Passed and Walls Coming Down
A plot description is necessary, but inadequate: Adam (Andrew Scott) is a blocked writer who lives alone in a London flat. One night, his neighbor Harry (Paul Mescal) introduces himself, knocking on his door and flirting with a bottle in hand. Adam’s flattered, and maybe a bit scared, and above all he needs to get back to work, so he seeks inspiration back where he grew up, taking a train to the suburbs. Once off the train, he follows a mysteriously familiar face—seen exiting a liquor store—back to his childhood home. It’s Adam’s dad (Jamie Bell), mustachioed and looking not a year older than his son. The easygoing banter between the two leads and the warm greeting from Adam’s mum (Claire Foy) at the house overshadows the fact that both of Adam’s parents died in a car accident when he was twelve years old.
The casual reunion slips back to the ‘80s (soundtrack included) with ease, no need to rush discussing the obvious elephant in the room. But, in acknowledging how Adam has grown into a man, dad and mum aren’t ignoring the surreal dreamscape the trio inhabits. Invigorated, or maybe just love-drunk, Adam goes home and invites a sober and embarrassed Harry (“I don’t drink anymore”) over, and the walls quickly come down. That they have sex doesn’t hurt to break the ice, but it’s Harry’s sensitive inquisition and sharing of his own personal history which brings out Adam’s honesty. Adam admits that he hadn’t favored sex (“Because I was afraid it would kill me”) over the years, and when Harry mentions his family, Adam then reveals that both parents were killed decades ago. Harry’s therapeutic grace—neither shocked nor per-formatively pitying—has an almost angelic quality, a foil to Adam’s hardened exterior.
Humanizing the Dead and Paying Respect
Emboldened, and a bit mystified by his abundant companionship, Adam returns home again the next day. When his mum asks if he has a girlfriend, Adam clenchingly delivers the news that he’s gay. Watch this exchange on mute, and the two faces tell all the story. Foy is aghast, stripped of a poker face and making no effort to withhold disappointment, while Adam is wounded, yet continues to reassure mum (“It’s different now”), assuming the role of caretaker when he’s the one who deserves compassion and empathy. The next day, Adam’s father (mum won’t come downstairs to see them) wonders why he didn’t come out when he was younger, and in a shocking admission, tells his son that he probably would have bullied—or at best ignored—a kid like Adam growing up.
No one apologizes for these harsh prejudices, and Haigh’s storytelling skill is evident here, allowing the people to resolve conflict instead of editorializing or inserting some heavy-handed lesson about why mum and dad acted so horribly. They’re dead, after all. And by humanizing the parents, in all their folly, Haigh pays respect to the dead, letting them be who they are, or who they would’ve been, rather than summoning a more predictable trope of the all-knowing heavenly figures in classics such as “A Matter of Life and Death” (1946) and Here Comes Mr. Jordan” (1941). The ignorance, in Adam’s eyes, doesn’t make his parents less capable—or worthy—of love. So he forges ahead, literally sandwiching himself between his parents in their bed, wearing his old pajamas, and talking about his childhood dreams of going on vacation with his mum, fighting and making up.
The Necessity of Preserving the Past
Of course, Adam insists that Harry meet the parents, and when that visit goes awry, it sets in motion a breathtaking, enigmatic finale. Part of why a plot synopsis here is particularly insufficient is because any number of Haigh’s strategies could come off as contrived or frivolous. (A grown-up Adam wearing his childhood clothing, for one.) But these are calculated risks, and Haigh’s leaning on his own imagination, subverting certain death-and-after-life cinematic touchstones to unveil a singular love story, whose components: father/son, mother/son, mother/father and Adam/Harry are all so clearly too good to be true. Credit goes to Haigh for pulling this off, but much needs to be said about the otherworldly performances. Foy, to me, is the beating heart, and her two-hander scenes with Scott (equally commanding) are still vibrating in my head, like so many of Haigh’s on-point needle drops.
It’s customary to see the bereaved on-screen, mourning a loss and, if they’re lucky, achieving some closure. But Haigh’s gamble is to show that those who survive and grieve aren’t the only ones who have suffered. Dead parents hurt too. And if that sounds glib, it’s just another coup of Haigh’s to make us cry for the departed, not because we miss them—there’s that too—but because they’ll never live to see us love, hurt, fall down flat and soar again. This is a film that offers a realistic depiction of a magical scenario, and is less concerned with answers than questions. Talking to his mum in bed, Adam describes—with a smile—a dream in which they went on vacation and just kept fighting. Death might kill part of the future, but luckily for Adam, the past didn’t evaporate alongside it.'

Mein Traum heute Nacht war so so weird und beinhaltete:
- Lotta die Hasen frei im Zimmer laufen lässt
- eine sehr wütende Nina
- eine Entschuldigung von mir an Nina
- Kraftklub Konzert im Wasser

The Sweet Little Jamiecorn
Corey and Oats in…
The Sweet Little Jamiecorn
------------------------------------
Everyone’s favorite equine and microbe duo loved to make new friends and one friend they had wanted to adopt was a pajama clad unicorn with dream powers and they knew she would be perfect, the duo worked on a special adventure plan to go and find her, which they went through with Mel and she agreed to go with them. The group decided to put their plan into motion when they went into the bedroom and pulled out an item from the bedbox which was a wand of sorts shaped like a unicorn horn which they used to access a special portal.
They used the item to access the portal and upon entering the portal they entered what appeared to be a magical unicorn dreamscape with a castle inhabited by unicorns with dream based powers and that is where they saw Jamie the Jamiecorn, she was drinking from her bottle and playing when she saw Oats and hugged him. ‘Hello Jamie.’ ‘Hi Oatsie, I have waited so long to meet you and I wanna be your friend, will you adopt me, please, oh please?’ She responded as she whinnied, looking over at him and presenting him with a present she had picked out for him.
“I know you like dresses so I got you this.”
“Really? You’re such a sweetie.”
Oats opened up the present he had gotten from her and he saw it was a beautiful blue and purple dress which he put on and he hugged her, he thanked her as the duo walked around in the dream-scape, playing and having fun.
They saw all the sights including the wish-granting fountain, the river of good thoughts, and the ice cream mountains. The duo claimed the icy cream mountain and saw some cute ice cream snow animals and some ice creamicorns, Jamie showed them around her kingdom and even her favorite landmarks like the house of sweet dreams.
Corey looked over and saw a floating unicorn parade float that could talk and he and Oats took on unicorn forms with cutie marks based on their personalities and skills, the scope of the forest was fantastic as was the the scope of the world in general, they got to really like Jamie’s little world and they played around with her for a while.
The duo and Mel swam around in a pool of positive energy, as they felt calm and relaxed, and they meditated with Jamie as they did so. Corey examined the marshmallow fungus and tried some, luckily it was sweet so it wasn’t poisonous. Unicorn dancers in ballet outfits manifested around Oats and Oats danced with them, feeling like he was a princess in a ballroom scene.
Corey saw some sweet song birds flying in the sky and used some magic to fly along with them, and the duo had some musical numbers. They had some a picnic near the ocean of aquaticorns and an hour later Mel had told them it was time for them to go home.
They followed her and they went through the portal with Jamie and arrived back home at Nile Road, upon arriving back at Nile Road they had afternoon tea and played for a while. An hour after that it was dinner time and Corey and Oats invited Jamie to have dinner with them.
The pajama clad unicorn accepted the invitation, Oats adopted her and welcomed her into the family afterwards and after that, they had a karaoke contest and emailed Jill about their adventure and the newest member of their family.
They all got ready after their karaoke session and they brushed their teeth and put on their night-clothes, of course Jamie was already in her pajamas so she didn’t need to put new ones on, she hugged the duo. Corey and Oats chose Alcina the love covid microbe along with Cleanium and Hygenia, and then let Jamie cuddle up with them that night.
And when it was time to drift off, they got into bed and drifted off as their pegasus bed took them on a fantastic journey through a unicorn dream-scape with their unicorn friends Hygenia and Cleanium along with Jamie. Jamie even used her horn to produce soothing music to help make their journey all the more magical and enchanting.
Just when you think the adventure is over…another adventure will start up.

Gwen's Dreamscape Analysis
A webtoon comment make a weird theory that Humpty Dumpty = little prince = the tiniest prince = Frederick because color motif is 'green' and 'golden' - but rereading make me sure it's the (abhorrent, sorry I know Gwen's dress beautiful but I like to make 'dark joke' based on canon) dress that Gwen wears at the very first meeting with the Plaid Princes. So a theory is debunked, but make me theorizing about entire things related to Gwen's dreamscape so far
That theory is, related to Humpty Dumpty~
And the recent episode gives more material to analyze over - WHY Gwen dreamscape there?
I never expected Rose Hall to appear in the dream, I predict the crystal room long ago from cpc webtoon banner. Rereading also make me believe that locatiins in her dream related to her shattered feelings...
But the 2 locations, both gwenderick/freddolyn moment and I find it's important to mention. These locations if linked with Frederick in nutshell about him questioning Gwen's (in term of romantic) as following :
Crystal room: Frederick wondering about the truth to Gwen about his conscience that something amiss in their relationship with;
"did I do something that hurt you when we first met? "
I've wrote my interpretation in previous post, in nutshell Frederick wondering what's wrong
Rose hall: aside from the whole broken proposals fiasco, I like to pointing out Frederick's quote right before the waffle note comes falling down
"T-this is all happening so fast… "
My interpretation is that Frederick feeling something amiss, something is skipped over - and we as the reader know what is it…
Gwen hiding the truth that she overhears about Frederick called her very ugly in their first meeting day, she keep hides it desperately (similar with how her own mother hides the truth that she's not feeling herself to be beautiful, to Jack - her romantical love interest) - even when Frederick nudges her to tell the truth at the gala right after his bullies got dealt, or Prez warns her that hiding truths isn't a good relationship foundation (even if pres is aroace that not really understand romance, that's warning is correct)
I have personal intake about : "something missing" that Gwen wonders in her dreamscape
Is related to the need for Gwen to processs everything, mainly for her believing that Frederick's apology is true - what he said recently is true, as he's changing opinion about her… That he believes that Gwen is beautiful.
If you love someone genuinely (if I could dare to say, the true love) , your love interest becomes very beautiful in your eyes (like comically the animated shoujo filter for example). This make me believe that Frederick is PART of the solution for Gwen's self love and it's healthy one once Gwen sees Frederick with honesty. Remember my previous analysis over Frederick's outfit that ended with urging Gwen to see Fred as a true him - because (romantic) relationship is supposed to be a joint effort, Frederick doing his best in waking reality to be the true him and Gwen needs to do her part too by believing him.
So if Frederick love is likely true love, will his kiss breaks the spell and awakes Gwen? It could be, but I didn't want to take debate about what's actually the true love and what's self-love supposed to be (I have enough of people that still despising Frederick, like believing that she should woken up by other way as gwenderick is "toxic"). Because? I didn't know as I am happily single, I won't presume to know what's love is especially theorizing which exactly the true love for Gwen - but I take the witch saying that true love doesn't necessarily to be singular, you could have multiple true love at once and even to non-human like Jamie loves waffle. This means the multiple true love that Gwen has could be directed to multiple options at once.
Also remember, despite so many people loves Gwen - what matters to breaks the spell is if Gwen loves them back or not. And that's the problem because with the way poisoned apple scene depicted very closely to attempting suicide - Gwen in dreamscape truly believes that no one loves her. Look at panel right before she eats the apple. Someone that feeling in pit of despair feels like they're deep at the dark tunnel without any light (as believes no one will care or love them) when in reality is not true, there's always light at the end of tunnel. BUT people in despair got numbed in their sense, which could leads them not realizing the reality OR believes (have delusions) in things that actually not real (having hallucinations). Thanksfully the dream spell that the witch made make noises (sound) and smell could still seep in the dream - and we have dubious witch way that related to portrait BUT this leads to the another theory subplot that I feel won't explain right now espc because we're lacking canon content to speculate about it
I like to move on to another step of my theory about gwenderick/freddolyn. Frederick could escape from the prison because he got delusions (that mixed with realities sense in the way of his mother and Jamie talking to her through the thick) that despite everything, Gwen needs him and he should get out from the prison to can see Gwen again. There's mysterious scene where the gala portrait got lifted up to the top so laverne can see it and lifting Frederick up, and with the witch say the soul that trapped in the 'magical' portrait (that Leland stole, thus make Plaid palace haunted for years) could travels to any portrait in the house they reside in. So I predict the reason it could go up because Lilyth's soul posses the portrait at the moment. Means Lilyth helps Frederick (future son-in-law) indirectly
^ that link is to my theory about Fred's outfit, might be too irrelevant but what I like to highlight is "once Fred be the true him, without trying to be Plaid prince, is the start of him could reach Gwen". And I have theory (more like hope) that Frederick could somehow reach Gwen too that helps Gwen to be awake from the spell. Maybe by assuring Gwen that he truly loves her (sound?). Maybe his mere presence (like his smell, but unsure if Gwen could recognizing Fred's smell or his smell recognizable - it's kinda rude notion as compares her akin to dogs) make Gwen realizes that Frederick is here, debunking her worry that Fred didn't want to be 'here'?
Whatever the actual situation, what's actually the true love, how exactly to breaks the spell...I feel Frederick should in the part of variable, in similar way of Gwen is the reason he escapes the prison. So I believe that Frederick will help Gwen to awakes, be it directly or indirectly - and Lilyth will help as part of variable to help Gwen. Make the 3 variables (Lilyth, Gwen, Frederick) be part of "breaking the spell" - which the first as spell of imprisonment already broken, now slumber spell
END: Let's see various screenshoots about self-love! It could be hints to predict the future!!!
I think the club ideas of self-love is giving hints:
@ Lean to (us) that loves you - at the season 4 Gwen changes her notion of love (from at the start shattered to couldn't self-love, to her sisters [the one that works but mere moment] and her friends at the CPC [there's still cracks but small) that to Frederick, romantic love interest, completely. Prez alrdy warns about this, twice but Gwen didn't heed the warning
@ believe (us) when we tell that you're beautiful. For now Gwen didn't believe at all that she's beautiful, espc because her reflection becomes so creepy it totally not showing her entire face. I feel during the gala as now Gwen anchors herself totally to Frederick's love, the previous love source from her siblings along with the CPC can't work. This make Gwen should believe in one, or multiple sources at once: believing that she truly beautiful herself (Leopold hints by apple pie and autumn example, will you hate them if others said they hate those two? No), believing what Frederick tell to him as a truth without forcing notion (it could be happen with Frederick assuring Gwen again that she's beautiful, her dreamscape could hear sounds from outside world - but Fred not yet near Gwen) or the motherly love as Lilyth enters her dream (one of biggest problem for this, is that Gwen could be SUS over Lilyth as she never know her before, and the witch say that the soul can't communicate or touch with anyone)
@ remember that you never alone : I won't tell much because i know there's nice theory about in by someone in cpc blr but I forgot exactly, but dream! Gwen wears her mother's robe - so it's the hint that Lilyth is the key for Gwen's self love
The self-love that being rushed over as shown in the panel of episode 146, it's indeed not right solution to skip forward (to happy ending)
Let's back to the BBW - big bad wolf (real last!)
BBW basically chasing and breaking havoc in Gwen's dreamscape, like urging her to awake from the slumber spell but in violent way and I am afraid if that could harms Gwen somehow. I feel it's identity being so important as the key for gwen breaks the slumber spell thou. And idk if it's just me bit the very last place that Gwen in, is similar with prison cell Fred trapped? Coincidence?? Am I overanalyzing? Well~
#cursed princess club#cpc#cpc theories#Cpc theory#Gwen's dreamscape#gwenderick#freddolyn#Personal analysis that feel free to reblog or give note to!!!#As always expect long post lmao#Also sorry for being crude with mental issues

Yeah, writer’s block sucks, but actively dreaming you wrote a story only to wake up with nothing but the first sentence left is so much worse.
#I would love to say this is the only time this has happened#anyway rip to LA-based photographer!jamie I guess hope the dreamscape audience had a nice time

@jcmiesingh // somewhere in the crowd, christian lost the new, flirty friends he was going to share a smoke break with. now he stood outside the bar alone, save the dull thudding in the back of his mind in time with the music. it was late, and he could see people starting to peel away from the barn, but he wasn’t ready to let go of the night yet. there was no tiredness a cig and a few more drinks couldn’t fix. it wasn’t until he inhaled from his cigarette that he noticed jamie a few steps off.
“jamie singh, all by his lonesome. would have thought you’d be fucking someone in the rafters right about now,” he said, a hint of edge at the corners of his words that was unlike his usual uninterested drawl.
