Riscaldamento globale, perché se perdiamo il permafrost rischiamo di perdere tutto Prima ci sono state le maschere rituali indigene disseppellite in Alaska, poi il cucciolo di leone delle caverne trovato in Yakuzia, poi un lupo dell’era glaciale perfettamente conservato, di recente è stato riportato in vita un rotifero intrappolato nei ghiacci da 24.000 anni: a giudicare dai titoli che periodicamente affiorano ovunque in rete, il permafrost parrebbe una sorta di grande scrigno refrigerato ricolmo di tesori archeologici e paleontologici. Del resto parliamo di uno spesso strato di terreno congelato da decine di migliaia di anni, che oggi custodisce resti e testimonianze di tutto l’arco temporale che ha ospitato la civiltà umana. Dal punto di vista di uno scrittore mistery (o thriller, volendo) è una cornucopia di possibilità narrative, dal punto di vista di una persona che vive in questo mondo (e intende viverci per i prossimi decenni), invece, è uno dei più pericolosi elementi di minaccia legati al riscaldamento globale. Con il termine permafrost si indica un tipo di terreno caratterizzato da un suolo che rimane congelato lungo tutto il corso dell’anno, e che si trova prevalentemente nelle regioni artiche dell’emisfero nord. Parliamo di un tipo di terreno che si estende per oltre 23 milioni di chilometri quadrati, coprendo vaste aree di Groenlandia, Canada, Alaska e Siberia, con una profondità che nei punti più freddi del globo può raggiungere i 1500 metri. Mentre lo strato superficiale può parzialmente sciogliersi nei periodi più caldi dell’anno, e consentire alla vegetazione di ricoprirli, quelli più profondi sono sigillati da uno spesso strato di terreno congelato, il che per molto tempo ha impedito a tutto quello che vi è al di sotto di raggiungere il mondo esterno. Ma questa situazione sta cambiando. Negli ultimi vent’anni il pianeta si è riscaldato sempre più velocemente, e questo vale in particolare per le zone artiche, dove le temperature hanno già superato i 2 gradi sopra i livelli pre-industriali. E siccome le calotte polari riflettono l’80% della radiazione solare, mentre le acque ne assorbono quasi il 90%, la riduzione di questi strati di ghiaccio porta dunque a un aumento di temperatura delle acque che a sua volta comporta lo scioglimento di altro ghiaccio, portando a un ciclo di retroazione rischioso. Un processo inarrestabile E se questo ciclo di retroazione è rischioso è per via di ciò che il permafrost custodisce. Nel corso dei millenni, infatti, in questi terreni si è accumulata una quantità enorme di materiale organico, sotto forma di piante e animali morti. Nel momento in cui il permafrost si scioglie, questo materiale viene esposto all’azione dei batteri, che decomponendolo portano al rilascio di anidride carbonica e metano. Si calcola che nel permafrost oggi siano sigillati 500 miliardi di tonnellate di carbonio, praticamente il doppio di quanto è presente nella nostra atmosfera. Il rischio a cui andiamo incontro, dunque, è che lo scioglimento del permafrost inneschi un processo continuo di decomposizione e riscaldamento che potrebbe essere inarrestabile, soprattutto se si considera che lo scioglimento del permafrost, una volta che raggiunge gli strati profondi, è praticamente irreversibile. (...) Stando ai calcoli il Mar Glaciale Artico potrebbe rimanere senza ghiaccio durante le estati già entro il 2040, e di qui alla fine del secolo potremmo arrivare a perdere oltre 5 milioni di chilometri quadrati di permafrost. Una prospettiva che è necessario scongiurare, anche perché creerebbe una serie di problemi che vanno oltre la questione climatica. (...) C’è poi una minaccia ecologica connessa a tutti i microorganismi che da millenni riposano nel permafrost. Negli ultimi anni sono stati trovati batteri risalenti a decine di migliaia di anni fa che, una volta scongelati, hanno dimostrato di poter tornare attivi. Del resto, basta pensare alle centinaia di renne morte nella penisola di Jamal, in Siberia, nell’estate del 2016. L’insolita ondata di calore di quell’anno ha portato allo scioglimento di uno spesso strato di permafrost, rilasciando spore di antrace che erano rimaste sigillate per secoli e che hanno infettato prima le renne e poi alcune persone con cui erano entrate in contatto. Ma le paure maggiori sono legate ai virus che lo scioglimento di questi serbatoi ghiacciati potrebbero disperdere. Sappiamo che nel permafrost sono custoditi virus di diversi tipi (calicivirus, virus influenzali, enterovirus e altri), e che questi sono ancora in grado di infettare un organismo, nonostante ancora non si siano registrati casi di umani infettati; quello che non sappiamo è quali altre tipologie virali potrebbero riposare nel sottosuolo da millenni, e che effetti potrebbero avere una volta liberati all’esterno. Il risultato è che oggi i capisaldi del nostro modo di vivere sono ancorati a una stabilità che ogni giorno risulta sempre più compromessa: la crisi climatica sta creando cortocircuiti in ogni ambito della nostra esistenza. E questo perché abbiamo sempre dato per scontato che il terreno su cui abbiamo eretto la nostra civiltà sarebbe rimasto solido e piano per sempre. I will say there are 1,000 boy and girl names in this list but they dont have an ethnicity or name meaning tagged on them. NFL ultimate all-conference teams – ACC and SEC

Just because sports is on hiatus doesn’t mean the competition needs to end. While we wait for the live action to return, ESPN has assembled a collection of “ultimate all-conference teams” that should intrigue college football and NFL fans alike.

Our panel of NFL analysts, college and NFL Nation reporters — Andrea Adelson, Matt Bowen, Courtney Cronin, Turron Davenport, Jeff Legwold, Adam Rittenberg, Mike Triplett, Jake Trotter and Field Yates — selected 22-man starting lineups of current NFL players based on their college conference. Notre Dame was paired with the ACC because of its affiliation.

The criteria: Choose rosters for the ACC, Big Ten, Big 12, Pac-12, SEC and non-Power 5 that are best suited to win the next Super Bowl.

We then ranked the teams to determine which group deserves the ultimate bragging rights. We will roll out the all-star lineups by region Monday through Wednesday, then reveal the final rankings on Thursday. On Friday, we will rank the top three lineups from individual schools.

Each offense had to include a quarterback, running back, two receivers, a tight end, two offensive tackles, two guards, a center and a flex player from any of the skill positions. Each defense had to include two edge-rushers, two interior linemen, two linebackers, four defensive backs and a flex spot that could come from any spot of the defense.

It all kicks off Monday with the NFL’s ultimate all-conference teams for the ACC and SEC. Let the second-guessing begin.

Toughest choice: Quarterback. Jackson, the NFL’s reigning MVP, won comfortably with seven out of nine votes. But the ACC had plenty of notable candidates, including Deshaun Watson, Matt Ryan, Philip Rivers and Jameis Winston. “It was a very difficult choice to make, but the jump Watson made from Year 2 to Year 3 and what I think he’s capable of in his fourth season led me to vote for him,” said Cronin, who was one of two panelists to go that route. “Watson is an MVP-caliber quarterback, too. I respect all that Jackson did in 2019 and think he’s a more dynamic all-around player. But I go back to last season and see moments where Watson single-handedly won or kept the Texans in games in spite of everything else that was going wrong for Houston.”

Biggest strength: Offensive line. There are plenty of good answers for this category in a star-studded lineup led by Jackson, Donald and Hopkins. But this offensive line deserves special mention because it might be the best of any conference once you add in that ridiculous amount of talent from the Irish.

“Hey, the scheduling partnership the ACC has with Notre Dame in football has its benefits!” Adelson said. “But in all seriousness, nobody thinks much about the ACC producing talent at offensive line because the default generally goes to the Big Ten. But the conference has consistently turned out good players, including three that received votes here in Anthony Castonzo, Joe Thuney and Brian O’Neill.”

Missing piece: Luke Kuechly. The linebacker’s retirement left the ACC without one of its biggest stars. Another area where the conference will have trouble measuring up is tight end, where Rudolph beat out young riser Darren Waller and aging stars Greg Olsen and Jimmy Graham.

People look at the ACC now and maybe they say ‘they don’t have many great teams’ or whatever. But you look at it when I was in there, there was a whole bunch of players with NFL talent making impact plays. Derwin James and Jalen Ramsey and Jameis Winston and Lamar. When you look at the talent some of those teams had and look at what some of those guys are doing in the NFL right now, you have to give some respect to that. It’s right there for people to see. That team could play with anybody. You have the MVP at quarterback, two of the best pass-rushers in the league just to start in Chandler Jones and Aaron Donald. For me to even be in there somewhere is a blessing for sure.”

Toughest choice: Running back and wide receiver. There was an embarrassment of riches at the skill positions, where we couldn’t find room for Alvin Kamara, Nick Chubb, Todd Gurley, Amari Cooper or A.J. Green among others. Jones was the only unanimous choice at receiver or running back.

“Henry received the most votes at running back, and I get it. He’s a volume back with the physical traits to take over games in the fourth quarter. But what about the dual-threat ability of Kamara?” said Bowen, who was one of five panelists to vote for Kamara at either running back or the flex spot. “He’s a three-down impact player at the position. And let’s not forget about Chubb, who can hammer the ball between the tackles and rip off explosive plays. I could have voted for all three.”

Biggest strength: Defensive back. If the SEC winds up winning this competition, the defense will be the reason — especially this loaded secondary. Because of tiebreakers, The Associated Press named seven defensive backs as first-team All-Pros last season. And a whopping six of them came from the SEC. This group is so stacked that we had to leave out Minkah Fitzpatrick, Eddie Jackson, Marlon Humphrey and Patrick Peterson.

“You could have told me to pick the starters for the SEC secondary and then said, ‘Actually, those players are not available to you,’ and I’d still feel great about my group!” Yates said. “Outstanding players were bound to miss the cut.”

Missing piece: Quarterback. No offense to Prescott (or runners-up Matthew Stafford and Cam Newton). But he is going to be measured against the likes of Patrick Mahomes from the Big 12; Tom Brady, Drew Brees or Russell Wilson from the Big Ten; Lamar Jackson from the ACC; and Aaron Rodgers from the Pac-12 when we vote for the ultimate champion. And that’s the one area that could hold back the mighty SEC.

Auburn gets a big-time win that will pay big dividends in the long run!

Despite shooting 6-24 from 3-point range and 22-35 from the free throw line, tonight is more about Auburn’s defense. The Tigers held Davidson’s top 3 scorers from last season to a combined 13 points and Auburn got a huge neutral-court win over a team that looks primed to be in the NCAA Tournament this season, 76-66.

The Tigers jumped out to an early 13 point lead, with a lot of that offensive production coming from freshman Isaac Okoro. Okoro made his first 2 3-pointers of the game and had 11 of his team-high 17 points in the 1st half. He was 5-6 from the field and 5-8 from the charity stripe.

One of the big questions going into this game was how would Auburn fare against reigning Atlantic 10 Player of the Year Jon Axel Gudmundsson, and Kellan Grady, both returning players who averaged 17 points a game last year. Okoro, Samir Doughty, J’Von McCormick and others did an outstanding job guarding them as they combined to go 4-17 from the field.

Davidson made their living in the 1st half from the free throw line going 16-17 and despite shooting just 7-26 from the field, the Tigers held a narrow 37-35 halftime lead.

Auburn started the 2nd half on a 9-1 run, started by a 3-pointer from Danjel Purifoy. Purifoy had 14 points and 6 rebounds and made a team high 3 3s. including the first 4 points of the game from Doughty, who was one of 5 Auburn players to score in double figures. McCormick looked much more comfortable in his 2nd game starting at PG, adding 10 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 0 turnovers tonight.

While Okoro was the opener, Anfernee McLemore was the closer tonight. McLemore got credit for 3 blocked shots, but really had 5 on the night, including this one.

With Davidson keeping it close, Auburn needed someone step up to close the game out. Anfernee got the job done, especially late, blocking a shot, finishing an alley-oop, and made a layup in the final minute to finish off the Wildcats.

Auburn moves to 2-0 on the season and travels to Mobile for the first time since 1995 to take on South Alabama at a sold-out Mitchell Center at 7PM on ESPN+. War Eagle!

BOX SCORE BREAKDOWN

I (Ryan) am going to start trying to include these on the game recaps. Thanks to Sam Snelling over at Rock M Nation, I’ve got a swanky new box score that gives us all the advanced stats for the game and the season. To keep this simple for now, I’m just going to share the things that stick out to me and let you peruse the rest of the box score.

First of all, here’s the sheet.

Tonight was a bit of a shared effort, with five guys in double digits. Anfernee McLemore and Issac Okoro were the stars of the show, particularly in the second half. Between the two of them, they accounted for roughly half the offensive value on the team, 29 points, and went 9 for 11 from the field. On a night where the guards struggled, that was a hell of a performance from the two of them.

Even in just 9 minutes, Cambridge was effective off the bench. As long as Okoro is dominating at the 3, it might be tough for him to get minutes there, but with Jamal Johnson and Tyrell Jones struggling early so far this year, perhaps Cambridge might see some minutes at the 2?

Though Wiley couldn’t get much done in the paint, he had a solid night on the defensive end, pulling in 9 defensive rebounds and adding a devastating block. In fact, the big man brought in exactly half of all of the possible defensive boards when he was on the court.

When I said the guards struggled, that was mainly with respect to Samir. The senior was only 3-10 from the field with no threes made. He put up 1.1 points per shot (PPS), which was severely boosted by the 5-6 from the free throw line. He did add 5 rebounds, but the 4 turnovers and 3 fouls didn’t help things.

Auburn was the better team in terms of points per shot and per possession. Even though the team struggled from the arc and free throw line, they shot nearly 70% from 2. Contrast that to Davidson’s 30% from 2. Woof.

This is the second game (out of... two) where Auburn’s turnovers have been a problem. A BCI (Ball Control Index) under 1.0 again is not something you want to see.

The 5 most fireable NFL coaches right now

Jay Gruden was the first. He won’t be the last.

The NFL’s coaching carousel has already seen one man ejected from his horse. Jay Gruden, once good enough to make Washington not terrible, was decidedly no longer the man for that job in 2019. He was fired after an 0-5 start that dropped his career coaching record to 35-49-1.

While Gruden was an easy sacrifice to the coaching gods — he’d never won more than nine games in a season and entered the year with the shortest odds to be the first man axed this fall — he won’t be the only one. 2019 has been the backdrop to some truly awful football. Some of this has been by design, but some has been the result of undermanned rosters, poorly planned strategies, and awful execution.

The teams that fall into the latter category will be looking for new options to man their sidelines. As we saw last offseason with the Cardinals and Steve Wilks, a “this is my first year here” excuse won’t necessarily save a struggling coach. Rookie and veteran playcallers alike could wind up on the chopping block as their franchises search for a scapegoat and a fresh start.

So whose seats are growing hottest now that the 2019 season is more than halfway done?

5. Doug Marrone, Jaguars

The Jags have stayed afloat in the AFC South, but Jacksonville remains chasing its 2017 standard in a season it has yet to break through to the sunny side of .500. Marrone is just 9-16 in the season-plus since Blake Bortles stood one quarter from the Super Bowl. Another underwhelming year could convince owner Shad Khan he’s not the right man for the job.

The Jaguars have outperformed expectations on offense, surviving and occasionally thriving despite the early loss of prized free agent Nick Foles behind center. Any unexpected gains from rookie Gardner Minshew have been negated by a step back from a defense that went from a top-five unit in 2018 to a middle-of-the-road group this season. Jacksonville has given up an average of 25 points per game in its five losses. Each of its four wins have come against teams with losing records.

Marrone’s been dealt his share of setbacks, including Foles’ Week 1 collarbone injury and Jalen Ramsey’s trade request and subsequent shipping to Los Angeles. He’s also made some notable positive gains as well — he’s kickstarted Leonard Fournette’s career after two inefficient seasons and built Josh Allen into a defensive rookie of the year candidate. The toughest part of the team’s schedule is over, leaving room for a returning Foles to rally this team back to the postseason.

Marrone’s job may depend on it.

4. Pat Shurmur, Giants

Shurmur carved out some breathing room after his switch from Eli Manning to Daniel Jones at starting quarterback. That helped push New York out to 2-2 to begin the season. Those pluses have been wiped clean as the Giants have spiraled back toward the bottom of the NFC. Shurmur’s job security depends on his ability to develop general manager Dave Gettleman’s prized 2019 draft pick. In his past five games, Jones has been responsible for six interceptions and seven fumbles for a team that has ungracefully bowed out of the playoff discussion.

That lack of efficient quarterback play has torpedoed the rest of the New York offense. Saquon Barkley has only averaged three yards per carry since Shurmur made the transition from Eli Manning to Jones. Although a sprained ankle has played a role in that decreased impact, opposing defenses have had little trouble loading up the box to cut off his runs and daring Jones to torch them deep. With the exception of a four-touchdown game in a loss to the Lions, Jones has struggled to turn these opportunities into big plays.

The Giants’ defense, 28th in yards allowed, has been as bad as expected. That’s something New York can live with in a rebuilding year, but a lack of growth from Jones is not. Shurmur rebuilt his reputation as a quarterback’s best friend while coaching Sam Bradford and Case Keenum to career-best performances in Minnesota. Jones made draft prognosticators look bad through his first two starts; he’s thrown for 5.9 yards per pass in the five games since. If Shurmur can’t make Jones look more like the former than the latter, the Giants won’t have much use for him.

3. Freddie Kitchens, Browns

The Browns took a big risk by promoting Kitchens from interim offensive coordinator to head coach last offseason. While the good-natured assistant was a locker room-pleasing sign of continuity following 2018’s 5-3 finish, he’d never been hired to be a full-time coordinator at any prior stop in his coaching career.

The first half of his head coaching debut indicates he wasn’t ready for any of this. The Browns are worse in the first half of 2019 (2-6) than they were a year ago when they fired Hue Jackson (2-5-1). A defense loaded with young stars has given up 20 points or more to every team it’s faced except the hapless Jets.

Kitchens changed his offense radically to build around Odell Beckham Jr. That unit has combined for seven receiving touchdowns in eight games. He turned Baker Mayfield into a meme.

The Browns entered 2019 primed to leave their unfortunate legacy behind. Instead they’ve regressed back to the Cleveland mean; a team where potential never equals production and the playoffs are a luxury reserved for rivals. Kitchens can write a bad first half of the season off as the result of first-time mistakes — and there have been several — if he can finish his rookie campaign on a high note.

He’ll keep his job through the season at least. If he rides the Browns back to the AFC basement, however, the franchise could wind up looking for a do-over on its most recent coaching hire.

2. Dan Quinn, Falcons

The Falcons have had a former NFL MVP at quarterback for most of the season, one of the league’s most powerful 1-2 combinations at wideout between Julio Jones and Calvin Ridley, and a defense built around stars like Deion Jones, Grady Jarrett, and Vic Beasley. And yet Atlanta has exactly as many wins (one) as a Dolphins team that long ago decided victory wasn’t in its best interest in 2019.

Quinn has a few weeks to show signs of life, lest his legacy as the Falcons’ head coach be defined by 28-3. His team may be this season’s biggest disappointment; Atlanta was favored to finish its season with nine wins or more back in August and is currently on pace for ... two. The fifth-year coach’s response to this slow start and the loss of Matt Ryan (temporary due to an ankle injury) and Mohamed Sanu (permanently, due to a trade with the Patriots) was to shuffle up his coaching staff without firing or hiring anyone.

That’s effectively rearranging furniture in one of those mock-up homes the U.S. Army built on their old nuclear testing grounds. Five of Atlanta’s final eight games are against teams with winning records, which suggests the Falcons could at least get a top-three draft pick from a season set to end with a coaching search.

1. Adam Gase, Jets

Gase, former Dolphins coach and offensive coordinator of the Broncos and Bears, is the architect behind a Jets team that’s scored eight offensive touchdowns in eight games. His New York squad ranks 31st in points scored and 32nd in yards gained while being the only team in the league to lose a game to the tank-tastic Dolphins.

The problem goes beyond the box score. Sam Darnold, who’d piloted New York in its only win in a Week 6 victory over the Cowboys, has regressed badly since then. He’s thrown eight interceptions in his last three games, including some that make zero sense whatsoever:

The Jets’ dysfunction hasn’t been limited to just what’s happened on the field, either. Gase was reportedly unhappy with the team’s decision to sign Le’Veon Bell last offseason — a move made by former general manager Mike Maccagnan, who would be fired months later. He’s made that a self-fulfilling prophecy, as Bell has seen his usage plummet under his new head coach and been entirely average in green and white. The team also alienated Pro Bowl safety Jamal Adams in the run-up to the trade deadline by listening to trade offers for him.

Just about everything about the Jets is a mess. Removing Gase from the mix would clear some of the debris for a club that’s still trying to figure out exactly where the foundation it should build on is located. The first-year coach could get another chance to replicate the dizzying success he’d found as head coach of the Dolphins (final record: 23-25). But it’s more likely 2019 winds up being a total write-off for New York.

Mentre questo Sito viene aggredito e insultato da fogne mediatiche come Huffington Post e Vice, che propagandano l’accoglienza a 90 gradi verso i profughi creati dalle guerre celebrate, invocate e salutate dai su medesimi siti di disinformazione imperialista (Left, Vice, Huffington Post e altra spazzatura), in Libia, il 18 maggio, bande armate composte dai miliziani armati dal governo Renzi-Gentiloni e dai terroristi di al-Qaida, che diverse ONG italiane definiscono ‘umanitari numero uno‘, uccidevano, decapitavano e bruciavano vive 150 persone nell’aeroporto libico di Baraq al-Shati. Ovvio il sonoro silenzio del sistema merdiatico italiano. SitoAurora è l’unico sito a riferire in Italia di questo massacro commesso dagli alleati dei servizi segreti italiani e della Farnesina in Libia, ovvero al-Qaida e la fratellanza mussulmana turcofila di Misurata, dove l’esercito italiano ha posto la propria base operativa libica.

Il 17 marzo, la sede di Saraj presso la base navale di Abu Sita, veniva attaccata da sconosciuti, mentre a Misurata i seguaci di Salah Badhi e Qalifa Gwal attaccavano la TV e la radio locale, venendo respinti. Contemporaneamente Saraj era Roma per discutere con il Gruppo di Contatto per il Mediterraneo Centrale che riunisce UE, Alto Commissariato ONU per i Rifugiati e Organizzazione Internazionale per le Migrazioni (organismo logistico dei mercenari islamisti). Saraj chiedeva all’Italia l’invio in Libia di 20 motovedette, 4 elicotteri, 24 imbarcazioni, 10 autoambulanze, 30 autoveicoli blindati e telefoni satellitari. Il 30 marzo, a Roma rappresentanti delle tribù Tabu e Ulad Sulayman di Sabha firmavano un accordo di riconciliazione, con cui il governo italiano avrebbe pagato gli indennizzi alle vittime della faida tribale. L’Italia, tramite la comunità di sant’Egidio, interveniva perché interessata a controllare l’aeroporto Taminhint di Sabha. Ma già il leader tribale dei Tabu, Adam Dazi, affermava che i capitribù non avevano idea di che accordo si trattasse. Già nel novembre 2015 il Qatar mediò un simile accordo di riconciliazione, poi violato nel novembre 2016. La Libyan Cement Company (LCC), è uno dei più grandi cementifici della Libia, con tre stabilimenti a Bengasi, al-Huari e Derna, assumeva gli specialisti della società russa RSB-Group per sminare il cementificio di Bengasi, avviato il 22 agosto 2016. Il cemento è necessario per ripristinare le infrastrutture distrutte dai terroristi. Finora veniva importato dalla Tunisia. Nell’aprile 2016 l’Esercito nazionale della Libia eliminò i terroristi dalla zona degli impianti industriali del cementificio. I genieri dell’esercito libico non poterono completare la bonifica per mancanza di attrezzature, a causa delle sanzioni imposte dai Paesi occidentali contro Tobruq. Inoltre, diversi genieri libici morirono nelle operazioni di sminamento. Inizialmente i libici si rivolsero a una società inglese, che volle 50 dollari per metro quadro, quindi si rivolsero agli specialisti russi del RSB-Group, che bonificarono 750000 mq di superficie per 15 dollari a metro quadro. Il RSB-Group opera in Egitto, Colombia e Cina, oltre che Libia. La LCC è di proprietà della Libya Holdings Group (LHG) di Tripoli e di 15 investitori di Arabia Saudita ed Emirati Arabi Uniti. Il 5 aprile, l’Esercito nazionale libico (LNA) avviava le operazioni per liberare la base di Tamanhant, presso Sabha, mentre il GNA di Tripoli condannava l’azione e ordinava alle sue forze di respingere l’attacco del LNA. A marzo, 16 militari feriti venivano inviati in Italia per cure mediche. Il 12 aprile Fayaz al-Saraj dichiarava che “Purtroppo l’Europa non ci ha aiutato, ma ha fatto solo vuote promesse. Abbiamo bisogno urgente di aiuti seri per proteggere e controllare le coste. Inoltre, la comunità internazionale deve fare di più per contribuire a stabilizzare il Paese”. Intanto, numerosi terroristi dello Stato islamico provenienti dalla Libia venivano curati in cliniche in Europa almeno dal 2015; “Elementi dello SIIL coinvolti nell’espatrio di feriti libici usano questa strategia per uscire dalla Libia con falsi passaporti“, secondo un documento dell’intelligence italiana. Il piano era incentrato su un progetto occidentale per riabilitare i feriti, il Centro per il sostegno dei libici feriti, gestito “in modo dubbio e ambiguo” sotto la supervisione dal governo di al-Saraj a Tripoli. Secondo il documento, gli infiltrati dello SIIL utilizzavano falsi passaporti forniti da una rete criminale e inoltre, all’inizio del 2016, lo SIIL occupando Sirte poté accedere a 2000 passaporti in bianco. “Dal 15 dicembre 2015, un numero ignoto di combattenti feriti dello Stato islamico in Libia è espatriato verso un ospedale d’Istanbul per cure mediche“. Da lì, i terroristi venivano inviati in altri ospedali turchi, provenendo soprattutto da Misurata, Sirte e Bengasi. “Misurata è la sede di tale contrabbando dalla Libia verso l’Europa. Ed è anche il luogo dove si svolge il mercato dei passaporti falsi, quando a costoro è necessaria una falsa identità per nascondersi“. I principali Paesi che accolgono i terroristi feriti, secondo il documento dello spionaggio italiano, sono Turchia, Romania, Bosnia, Francia, Germania e Svizzera. Il medico Rodolfo Bucci confermava al Guardian di esser stato contattato da un individuo appartenente alla rete del contrabbando. “Sono stato contattato da alcuni uomini per coordinare queste cure mediche perché sono uno specialista nella terapia del trattamento del dolore. Ma poi non so cosa sia successo. Non so se il programma fu interrotto“. Il documento dell’intelligence italiano descrive la posizione del governo al-Saraj come “altamente ambivalente” perché, anche se non finanzia l’assistenza medica ai terroristi dello SIIL, “ufficialmente permette l’espatrio di elementi del MSTB (Majlis Shura Thuwar Benghazi), una milizia jihadista collegata allo SIIL”. Secondo il rapporto dell’intelligence italiana, i documenti preparati dagli ospedali che organizzano l’espatrio dei libici feriti recano pochi dettagli sulle ferite, o ne sono totalmente privi. Il 2 maggio 2017, ad Abu Dhabi s’incontravano il premier-fantoccio al-Saraj ed il Generale Haftar, comandante dell’Esercito nazionale libico della Camera dei Rappresentanti di Tobruq, per discutere su quali organizzazioni andassero definite terroristiche, sullo scioglimento delle milizie, sul rifiuto dell’accordo sui migranti con l’Italia, sull’eliminazione dell’Art.8 del Libyan Political Agreement di Shqirat, che garantiva al Presidente del Consiglio Presidenziale ampi poteri su Forze Armate ed intelligence. Inoltre al-Saraj e Haftar convenivano nel formare un comando militare congiunto, con a capo Haftar, e ad unire le istituzioni statali. Gli Emirati Arabi Uniti inoltre dispiegavano velivoli da combattimento a sostegno del Generale Qalifa Haftar, nella Libia orientale, sulla base aerea al-Qadim. In Libia la produzione di petrolio superava il picco dell’ottobre 2014, arrivando a 780000 barili al giorno; grazie anche all’esenzione dai tagli della produzione nell’OPEC. Il maggiore giacimento petrolifero della Libia, Sharara, pompava circa 225000 barili al giorno, che arrivavano alla raffineria di Zawiyah. Anche al-Fil, o giacimento Elefante, nella Libia occidentale, veniva riavviato ad aprile dopo un’interruzione di due anni. Sharara, che ha una capacità di 330000 barili al giorno, è gestita da una joint venture tra Lybia National Oil Corp., Repsol SA, Total SA, OMV AG e Statoil ASA, mentre al-Fil è gestito da una joint venture tra NOC ed ENI, e può pompare fino a 90000 barili al giorno destinati all’impianto di Malitah. Il 18 maggio, il ministero degli Esteri del governo fantoccio di al-Saraj licenziava 12 ambasciatori, 10 dirigenti aziendali e 4 consoli generali. Ciò avveniva il giorno dopo che il ministro degli Esteri di al-Saraj, Muhamad Syala, licenziava l’alleato di Qalifa Haftar e ambasciatore in Arabia Saudita Abdulbasit al-Badri. Gli ambasciatori rimossi erano quelli in Canada, Etiopia, Grecia, Ungheria, Paesi Bassi, Panama, Qatar, Serbia, Slovacchia, Sudan, Vaticano e Regno Unito, i consoli generali quelli di Alessandria, Dubai, Istanbul e Milano. Venivano richiamati in patria gli addetti commerciali in Australia, Belgio, Croazia, Cipro, Costa d’Avorio, Nicaragua, Oman, Pakistan, Sierra Leone e Sri Lanka. 

Il 18 maggio, 141 persone venivano uccise nell’attacco perpetrato dalle milizie del GNA contro la base aerea di Baraq al-Shati, dove le forze islamiste uccisero sommariamente decine di soldati disarmati. “I soldati tornavano da una sfilata militare, non erano armati, la maggior parte di essi fu uccisa”. Il portavoce dell’Esercito nazionale libico, Colonnello Ahmad Mismari, annunciava che gli attacchi aerei di risposta erano iniziati dalla base aerea di Jufra contro i terroristi, e che “non ci sarebbe stato un cessate il fuoco”. L’attacco terroristico era stato guidato da Ahmad Abduljalil al-Hasnawi e da Jamal al-Trayqi del 13.mo battaglione di Misurata (fazione islamista armata ed informata direttamente dall’Esercito italiano) con l’appoggio della 201.ma brigata e delle brigate di difesa di Bengasi. La base era difesa dal 10.mo Battaglione del LNA, che perse 17 uomini, oltre a subire 11 dispersi, e dal 12.mo Battaglione, che perse 86 uomini. Gran parte del 12.mo Battaglione si trovava invece a Tuqra, per le celebrazioni dell’operazione Qaramah. Inoltre, anche 7 piloti civili furono uccisi. Uno dei testimoni aveva dichiarato che le vittime non furono uccise in combattimento ma erano state allineate e giustiziate. Il sindaco di Baraq al-Shati riferiva che almeno 5 soldati furono decapitati. Un altro testimone affermava, “Hanno ucciso tutti nella base: soldati, cuochi, addetti alle pulizie“, molti con un colpo alla testa. Alcuni erano cadetti appena laureatisi ufficiali durante la cerimonia del LNA per celebrare il terzo anniversario dell’operazione Qaramah. Le forze che difendevano la base, guidate dal generale Muhamad bin Nayal, erano riuscite parzialmente a ritirarsi, grazie ad informazioni sull’attacco imminente. Il Comando Generale del LNA dichiarava che la risposta sarà “dura e forte”, parlando apertamente di vendetta, “I responsabili saranno schiacciati”. Il governo di Tobruq accusava apertamente del massacro il Consiglio di Presidenza di al-Saraj e il suo ministro della Difesa, oltre che di aver violato la tregua concordata ad Abu Dhabi. I membri del Congresso di Tobruq chiedevano il licenziamento del ministro della Difesa di al-Saraj, Mahdi al-Barghathi, e di processarlo per il massacro, mentre Ali Gatrani, componente del Congresso di Tobruq, accusava del massacro anche il capo dei fratelli musulmani libici Sadiq al-Ghariani, potente alleato dell’Italia. I burattinai di Saraj, l’inviato speciale dell’ONU Martin Kobler e l’ambasciatore inglese Peter Millett, chiedevano all’esercito libico di non reagire all’aggressione, indicando la mano del mandante della strage. Il fantoccio della Farnesina, Fayaz al-Saraj, sospendeva ‘per 15 giorni’ il suo ministro della Difesa, l’islamista filo-turco Mahdi al-Barghathi. Inoltre, Saraj riconosceva che Jamal al-Trayqi, a capo del 13.ma battaglione (con cui l’esercito italiano collabora) era responsabile dell’attacco a Baraq al-Shati. Le brigate di difesa di Bengasi, coinvolte nel massacro, hanno stretti legami con Barghathi e la fratellanza mussulmana filo-turca di Misurata. Quindi, l’Esercito nazionale libico (LNA) dichiarava che al-Qaida e le milizie del governo del fantoccio italiano al-Saraj avevano attaccato la base aerea di Baraq al-Shati, decapitando decine di soldati libici. La maggior parte degli aggressori erano stranieri. Muhamad Lifrays, portavoce del 12.mo Battaglione del LNA, che aveva subito l’assalto, dichiarava, “Siamo convinti che combattevamo al-Qaida“. Diversi soldati erano stati decapitati o bruciati vivi. La maggior parte dei soldati era stata uccisa con colpi alla testa o sgozzati. Almeno 15 civili furono uccisi dai terroristi. Il comandante delle Forze Speciali Sayqa, Mahmud Warfali, affermava “L’LNA libererà la base aerea“, mentre 112.mo, 117.mo e 173.mo Battaglione libici si avvicinavano a Baraq al-Shati. L’Egitto condannava tale “attacco terroristico brutale“, e il Ministero degli Esteri di Cairo esprimeva “solidarietà al popolo libico e all’Esercito libico nazionale, chiedendo di occuparsi seriamente dei responsabili dell’azione terroristica“, aggiungendo che la politica libica non dev’essere soggetta a gruppi criminali che si fanno strada con il terrorismo o collaborando con le organizzazioni terroristiche finanziate da Paesi esteri. Anche il portavoce del Ministero degli Esteri dell’Algeria condannava l’attacco, “Condanniamo fermamente questi attacchi e notiamo che per diversi anni abbiamo costantemente incoraggiato i partiti libici a sostenere il dialogo e la riconciliazione nazionale per risolvere la crisi“. Nel frattempo, gli ambasciatori della Libia in Cina, Francia, Russia, Regno Unito e Stati Uniti (si noti l’assenza di quello in Italia) condannavano tale crimine, “condanniamo i tentativi di cambiare la situazione in Libia con la forza, che pregiudicano il dialogo politico e prolungano le sofferenze del popolo libico”.

Mentre questo Sito viene aggredito e insultato da fogne mediatiche come Huffington Post e Vice, che propagandano l’accoglienza a 90 gradi verso i profughi creati dalle guerre celebrate, invocate e salutate dai su medesimi siti di disinformazione imperialista (Left, Vice, Huffington Post e altra spazzatura), in Libia, il 18 maggio, bande armate composte dai miliziani armati dal governo Renzi-Gentiloni e dai terroristi di al-Qaida, che diverse ONG italiane definiscono ‘umanitari numero uno‘, uccidevano, decapitavano e bruciavano vive 150 persone nell’aeroporto libico di Baraq al-Shati. Ovvio il sonoro silenzio del sistema merdiatico italiano. SitoAurora è l’unico sito a riferire in Italia di questo massacro commesso dagli alleati dei servizi segreti italiani e della Farnesina in Libia, ovvero al-Qaida e la fratellanza mussulmana turcofila di Misurata, dove l’esercito italiano ha posto la propria base operativa libica.
