a bowl of naked ramen (not spicy) and a Yakult orange juice (so good!) from @sumo_boo after a hospital visit near Puri Mall. Haven't had Sumoboo's naked ramen for quite some time so this was a real treat. I do like that diced pork pieces, it has that smoky salty flavour that ties everything together. I wish the yolk from the sunny side-up egg was a little runnier so it sort of glues the noodle and everything together but anyhow, it was a good lunch alone anyways. There's something really comforting with eating these cold pork slices with the hot chilli oil. (yesterday post) lunch with @kriskhoock at @rmnusaindah where he was so amazed at the whole humble old-school restaurant. Good to see that he is enjoying his kunyit asam which he says is good for his body while @mellyun says is good for women especially when they're having their period. Kunyit asam (or the Javanese says kunir asem), an Indonesian traditional beverage as well as natural remedy (known as jamu in bahasa Indonesia) that is made from a mix of turmeric and tamarind and turned into a juice. This jamu is belief to refreshing women’s body while they are on period. Also it helps to battle the flu and canker sore. the nasi udang (prawn) with empal and sambal nyonya someone (I can't remember the name of the nyonya but the sambal was so spicy!) Love the crispy baby prawns and eat together with the sweet coconut crumbs. The empal was cooked nicely so it wasn't too tough or dry. And I haven't had this crispy duck for SO long as well and it was so good. Especially when you eat it with that sambal-shallots combo, the chilli, and chilli padi for an extra kick of spice, mixes in so well with the crispy duck and long beans. an after-dinner coffee session with @alextbudiman & Yanti and I asked her to help me get one of @starbucksindonesia new menu, the Key Lime Pie Frappuccino. From the colour, it could be mistaken for a Green Tea Frappuccino, but the taste is a burst of tartness, sweet, fluffy lime just like a liquified key lime pie and I love the layer of cookie crumble on top of the whipped cream.
