Man, you guys aren’t holding back are you?  Not that this choice is nearly as difficult as you think it would be.

I guess it’s time I admit this on main, but there’s been a massive shake up of the Best Boy rankings to accommodate twelve new sons, and my new best boy’s symbol is the flat sign, his number’s 3, and his color’s orange. A lot of this is actually due to his character arc in Story 2 and Story 3, but since S2 of the anime’s coming, I’m just going to leave it at that and point everyone in the direction of the tissue box once his arc starts.

Yes, you’re all reading that right. Mitsuki started off by just being my best i7 boy, taking that crown and never actually handing it off to any of the other boys that should have been my Type (I bet you guys were expecting Sougo, Tenn, or Yuki to be my i7 Best Boy) and then with character development just kept climbing up through the ranks to the point where I redid my side blog and Twitter to match him, lol.

Sorry Mikleo, but you’ve been outdone by another top tier sweets maker, rofl. I still love you though!

Ahh it took me forever to reply to this, sorry!!! But tysm so much, I’d send it back if you hadn’t already done it (though if you want to do it again, go for it, you’re amazing!!!)

1. First, I know I have impacted several people’s life positively and there’s nothing anyone can do to take that wonderful feeling away from me. I’m glad I’ve been able to be there for people when it mattered most.

2. Although I did journalism and psych for my undergrad and I’m about to start law school, I’ve always been pretty good at math… like whenever something math related would arise, professors always joked like “haha that’s why you guys chose this career” but i’d just be like no, actually, I was torn between this and physics first….

3. I’m not picky with food at all! I love not being complicated with food and being able to discover new dishes and learn about other cultures through their cuisine and just having amazing experiences like that

4. Physically, I really like my nose and freckles, I think they’re cute. So whenever I’m feeling down and those self-deprecating thoughts arise, I just focus on those things and tell myself I’m cute af and move on..

5. I have good work ethics and I’m very hardworking so I tend to do well and be trusted at the jobs I’ve had. This applies to school too, getting a full-tuition scholarship for law school was hard but I made it happen and I’m very proud of myself for that (now I just gotta be top of my class during my 1L)

I notice that it’s a thing that seems to have faded out of popularity with the Western fandom, but I remember it from my younger days lol when it was all really important whose name came in front and all. I guess it just doesn’t get used much anymore?

I slowly stopped paying attention to it but now I realise why lol . Yeah when I was young I even sorted out which fanfic to read depending of the order (but only for my favourite pairing :p)

I’m so glad other people remember this being a thing too haha! I can come up with a few reasons for why it faded out of popularity, since in most cases it DOES refer to who tops in the relationship (not just in regards to sex, but who’s the more dominant person in general..), which has also kind of faded out as a concept, especially in western fandoms :p (though I’ve noticed a lot of pixiv artists also tag their works with both ‘xy’ and ‘yx’ for ships, and have no clear preference). 

But I do still pay attention to it every once in a while, even when I have no preference myself. A lot of fans (again, mostly western fans afaik) might be appalled at BL fans who have strong preferences (since again, name order does often refer to tops and bottoms...), but I can kind of see the charm. I think it’s particularly notable with artists that vastly prefer, say, xy when it comes to a specific ship, versus people that prefer yx. Their way of handling the exact same ship can be so different just because of that, even when it’s not about sexual content necessarily^^ I guess it’s just about seeing the same ship differently...?

the internet is full of people who are too quick to swarm to others just when they post something they dont want to see, your opinions arent wrong despite what others say! and while i dont know much about the other two, my opinion regarding a switch-exclusive tales game is the same as yours. i think it's pretty unlikely anyways, because it would be bad for sales and block out a large portion of the customer base.

t hank youuuu ill try to keep this in mind. its just hard. bc i always feel like whenever i have one theres always hundreds more people against it. like even when it comes to Graces i always feel like everyone hates it so much and i feel bad for liking it

and right??? like even if it was only for switch itd still be for PC bc having 2 pc games and then stopping right there would be really bad marketing?? like i get that bamco and nintendo are on good terms but they can save exclusives for other series

Go for it!!! Someone may be able to submit missing pieces as well!!

Here is what I shall do, since everyone agrees some is better than none!  The Tales of Link wikia has transcripts of events!! I will include all the images I have, and for any images I am missing, I will put in the dialogue from the missing segment, which can later be replaced with an image if one becomes available!!

I am missing a few images for it, but I still have 233 images!  That is definitely enough to make it worthwhile!

sajdfioafjasf i was expecting mitsuki to be your Ultimate Best Boy, but i thought it would be a more difficult choice than this LOL. and i laughed when you said your best boy rankings had to accommodate 12 new sons...this is the power of i7.

Yeah, uhhh, when I start redoing blog themes and such, that’s when you know I have a new Ultimate Best Boy. The thing with Mitsuki is his writing and development is just so good as I kept going through the main story and every time I told myself “I couldn’t possibly love this tiny ball of idol sunshine any more”, I found myself doing just that.

And I usually don’t just, like, adopt an entire cast like that but with i7 . . . it’s like, you have your Top 3, and you have your Bottom 3, and then everyone else is in this massive Blur Zone inbetween, but you love every single last one of them, even if they’re in your Bottom 3 and you’ll still cry for them because the writing really is just that good.

So in other words, go watch i7. If for no other reason than, 1) the Tales of Link collab costume swaps are accurate for each character in some way, 2) Yonaga Tsubasa (Jude in Xillia, Mitsuki in i7), Hoshi Souichirou (Keele in Eternia, Momo in i7 - this is a little more relevant for S2 since Re:vale only makes a cameo appearance in S1), Satou Satomi (Magilou in Berseria, Tsumugi in i7), Satou Takuya (Benwick in Berseria, Ryuu in i7) and Konishi Katsuyuki (Lloyd in Symphonia, Yaotome Sousuke in i7) are all in it, and 3) the writing for this game is amazingly good - I daresay on par with a Tales game level of good - and I’m pretty sure I’ve laughed/cried with this series more than I did for Zestiria and I think we all know how much laughing and crying I did with Zestiria.

Honestly right now, rabbits. I still haven’t gotten past the first-time pet owner phase, so the bunnies are still very cute. And also I deal with them every day. But in terms of impact in my life, it’s still wolves. Ever since reading White Fang and Call of the Wild by Jack London. Wolves are what got me into conservation and ecology. They’ll always have a special place in my heart.

have you watched the entire game yet? I hope I haven’t spoiled you haha, it’s the best when you see it for yourself. I didn’t think this game was gonna take me by surprise but... it really did lol. 

but YES this ship is so good!! There’s so much potential in it!! I thought shukita was gonna be my otp but then I got to /that/ part of the game and... I know Atlus still has to have plans for him, but still... :/ so now I’m just drowning myself in funny pixiv comics and fix-it fics I guess lol. Angst is good but I really need fluff and fixes rn.

I work hard to improve myself! I’m still pretty far from where I want to be, but my art and Japanese/translations have gotten much better in the past couple years ; v ;

I find a lot of joy in helping others, either with questions they have or just informing them of things they may not know about, but would find helpful

I’m fairly respectful of others situations, and try to not put people in situations that would make them uncomfortable if I know I can help it

Just generally speaking, I try to see the good in others, and my opinion on someone will be nothing but positive until they do something to lose my respect

While in school, I always placed in high-honors and while I certainly don’t think grades make a person, it felt good to know that my hard work paid off
