i’m waffling on the canon bit, cause well it’s a big mess you know that. i know him from his earliest appearances where the creeper is just him putting on a creepy act, but later on sometimes the creeper is a different person or even a demon and he acts more wacky i suppose, freakazoid esque. so to me hes defined by those earliest appearances since i’m best familiar with those. he needs that blanket and hot soup after he accidentally threw his nemesis/roommate off a dam. like . wow man sorry about that. well. i like him lots

watching my adventures with superman as someone who's never consumed anything superman related before is so funny because an episode airs and everyone will be like "omg they called that random guy jack?? that means he'll turn out to be Lord Jackus Mackus, Superman's arch nemesis in the comics!" and I'll just straight up even forget this random guy was even in the episode i was too busy lookinf at Clark and Lois they kissmdf,,, they in love,,,z also Jimmy is being funny i literally forgot everything else that happened in the episode

Moc děkuju za ten sníh kolem poledne. Ta parta kluků vedle to možná nedocenila, ale já jo, a chci abys věděl, jak velkou jsi mi udělal radost. Těšila jsem se od Dubna a ani jedna z těch vloček nezklamala. Všechny byly krásné. A i když se tady v Brně sníh nejspíš moc dlouho neudrží, jsem ráda, že ses tu pozastavil.

I recently watched the movie "The Astronaut" by Adam S. on Netflix. The truth is I haven't read the book but the movie is very strong; It has a great message and everyone who acted and worked on it did a great job.

I shared with my friends from "Bokadin Witnesses" that I found certain parallels in the main characters. And I explain why…

Jackus and Lenka are already an established couple, who are going through very deep and strong problems, including separation. But in the end, the message reminded me of Interstellar

"Love transcends the barriers of space and time"

Something intangible that can break the walls of all dimensions. He is far away, an astronaut by profession, she is pregnant with her second child, the first was lost.

Then everyday life and distance begin to influence their relationship.

I have to leave the context to you to get to the point.

Jackus and Lenka meet at a costume party; He comes from a difficult past and has always been a loner for being an astronaut. An explorer man who always has to be moving.

Lenka has a difficult past, it is complicated in a certain sense to get involved with a guy like that. This is where the parallel comes

Two lonely and hurt souls meet and click… that loneliness begins to go away. Love begins to bloom and try to fight for it.

When two people who are as mature as possible agree on this; Suddenly the obstacles are not so difficult anymore.

For me, Din is that lonely soul, that nomadic explorer, who until Grogu arrives, begins to understand that he probably has the right to live a better life and in company.

And then there is Bo katan; that lonely woman who somehow stumbles upon this explorer and his son and they head together towards an unexpected redemption, suddenly begins to see herself in other, deeper aspects and is shown that her worth is not only her status or her wealth. , that she is important in other aspects of life. And Din shows her that he will be there for her, because he loves it because now he really wants to do it and not because of imposition.

"We are one when we are far, we are one when we are apart"

And the photography in this movie is beautiful, visually I love that parallel to Lenka with her princess outfit; ruler of the world of Jackus, she will wait for him regardless. Jackus in his traveler's suit, hoping to return to that which connects him to his world; Lenka

A very beautiful reference to Din Y Bo; her being regent of Mandalore. Din's home, being there for him and Din with his Beskar armor at the service of that person he connects to his home; Bo katan.

In the end there is a very endearing character in the movie "the astronaut"

that makes Jackus think so that he fights for Lenka; Watch the movie and you'll agree with me.

This gem is worth seeing.

Hi. I read this post, and while I see your point, I think it's actually the other way around.... Or at least, I think that.

The parents clearly dod not cared about Chloé. As you said, Audry left, and don't even remembers her daughter's name most of the time, and, while Andre provided for Chloe, he possibly never was around either, leaving only Jackue Whateverhisnameis to serve her.

The parents clearly did not done these👆, that's the point. Even Andre, he did not done these; did not helped Chloé discover who she is, kinda protected her, but without care, enabeling her to protect HERSELF, and strangly, I think he did not love her.... I can't recall he would ever huged his daughter, while I remember she huged Ms. Boustie, which (in highsight) is obviously strange...

Let me theorize a bit, I think Andre created Chloe to the image of Audry, as a "Love fixing child" when he felt she is about to leave him (obviously, it didn't worked). He "loved" Chloe, in that sence he loved the part she is like her mother, so he kinda tried to compensate, but since Chloe isn't Audry, he failed hard.

So, all together, I think (at least as I interpreting the story) Yeah, Audry and Andre both deserving what they get, but the main point is to prove what Felix said; when you don't care for your creation the results are just as bad as if you use them.

So yeah, I personally don't feel pity either of the parents, both deserve this, they CAUSED THIS, and I think that's what the story want to say

I agree with what you say, my point was the hypocrisy of the writing. Where Félix, Kagami and Adrien are portrayed as victims and worth saving, Chloé is not given the same treatment (from Astruc especially).

Both Audrey and André are horrible parents (like most in MLB, to be honest). She abandoned her family and abuses her daugther, while André didn’t give Chloé the affection nor the discipline she needed. All he did was throw money at her and enableing her bad behaviour. Bad behaviour she emulated from her mother, the person Cholé wants above else to love her. The other issue is that in the end André, instead of standing up to Audrey’s abuse and save his daughter from her, will denounce Chloé (although he had part in her upbringing) and will abandon her with her abuser. All while the writers paint him as a "strong liberated man". But all they’ll be doing is showing just how much of a coward André is (Chloé is like that also because of him, but he’ll not be held accountable for it) and how they (the writers) are a bunch of hypocrites.

You said the hug between Miss Bustier and Chloé is “strange”, seeing things now, but the reason is that that hug was meant to be the start of Chloé's change. Sadly the story was derailed by Astruc in s3, just because he hates her on a personal level (I know she’s fictional, but the way he talks about her makes you wonder if he knows that).

The hug with Bustier, her apologising multiple times, her relationship with Adrien, Sabrina, Jaques and even her parents show Chloé was not evil to begin with. Adrien tells us she wasn’t like the Chloè we know from s1, but again because of hypocrisy and the hatered of one man against a fictional teenage girl, all of that depth and development was thrown out the window and Chloé was branded as “irredeemably evil”. While characters like Félix (that killed the entire population of Paris and only brought them back because Adrien was mad at him) and Gabriel (we know what he did), will be given forgiveness and redemption by Ladybug (and therefore, by the writers).

That said, I really like the theory that Chloé is also a senti. I wrote something like that a while back, but the issue with that is that neither Audrey nor André have fallen sick like Emilie or Colt (and possibly Kagami's father). And while I do think the sentiChloé theory could save her character, I doubt they would go for it, since Astruc hates the character and openly mocks her fans.

THE DESCRIPTION OF SAINT HYACINTH OF POLAND Feast Day: August 17

'Święty Jacku z pierogami!' (St. Hyacinth and his pierogi!)

Hyacinth was born about 1183 in Kamień Śląski near Opole (southern part of Poland) in a noble family. He studied in Paris and Bologna and after his return to Poland, he became a priest and a canon of the cathedral of Wawel in Cracow. In 1220 he accompanied Iwo Odrowąż, who was bishop of Cracow, to Rome where they met St. Dominic.

There in 1221, he received the religious habit from St. Dominic himself. After a short stay at Santa Sabina, he came back to Poland. On his way, Hyacinth established a Dominican priory in Friesach in Carinthia. In 1223 he settled at the Holy Trinity church in Cracow where he founded the first Dominican priory in Poland that since that time has been existing without interruption.

St. Hyacinth was a tireless apostle and a great missionary. He established Dominican priories in many Polish dioceses as well as he went to Prussia, Ruthenia and Lithuania spreading the faith. Because of his zeal and evangelizing work a lot of people were converted and many churches and priories were built. He came back to Cracow in 1243 and he died there on August 15, 1257. He was beatified by Pope Clement VII in 1527 and he was canonized by Pope Clement VIII in 1594. His tomb is in the Dominican church in Cracow.

There are many legends associated with St. Hyacinth. One of them explains why he is very often depicted with a monstrance containing the Blessed Sacrament and with a stone statue of Our Lady. This legend says that during a Tatars attack on Kiev, Hyacinth wanted to prevent a sacrilegious attack, so he went to the chapel to take and save the Blessed Sacrament from the tabernacle. But at the same time he heard the voice of Mary, asking him why he takes her Son, but he leaves her. Hyacinth was worried, because the statue was very heavy, it was made of alabaster, but Mary promised him to make it very light and so it was, so Hyacinth could carry it. For this reason he is usually shown holding a monstrance and a statue of Our Lady.

The Polish exclamation (see above) is an old-time saying, a call for help in some hopeless circumstance, and it has derived from two legends.

One of them is about his visit on July 13, 1238, to Kościelec. During his visit, a hailstorm broke out, destroying crops and leaving people with the terrible prospect of poverty and famine. Hyacinth told them to pray. The next day, the crops were miraculously restored. The people then treated Hyacinth to pierogi made from those crops as a token of gratitude. The second legend mentions Hyacinth feeding people with pierogi during a famine caused by the Mongol invasion of 1241.

Hyacinth is the patron of pierogi, weightlifting, those in danger of drowning, and the University of Santo Tomas-College of Tourism and Hospitality Management.
