Newsies Youtuber AU

This is a fun little thing that I may do some small fics on! Feedback is appreciated so tell me if you like this!

Some have their own account (Jack & Race) but the rest share an account and have who’s video it is in the title (and have playlists for each person)

The shared channel is called Newsies because of reasons I don’t know

Jack would obviously be an art channel, with speedpaints and challenges etc

Davey and Katherine share a booktube account and also do vids on the shared account

Race is obviously a prankster, ala Joe Sugg, and frequently sits in the background of videos on his phone

Crutchie does sketches with the other Newsies, think KickthePJ or Tomska, and occasional DIY tutorials

Albert also does pranks, he’s in a prank war with Race, he also does videos that are meant to be serious about being cool but just end up being hilarious

Elmer does educational videos, he has does language and maths mainly on the shared channel but does some stuff like Game Theory on his own channel

Button does fashion videos, he makes his own clothes and tries weird fashion, think Safiya Nygaard, and Elmer and their cat bagel are in his videos a lot, Sarah often features to help him

(He’s trying to make over every Newsie with Barney Peanuts and JoJo, he’s stuck on Spot)

JoJo and Barney Peanuts have a beauty channel where JoJo does hair stuff and Barney Peanuts does makeup (from his circus days, inspired by @crystallizedtwilight ‘s headcanons)

Specs does sciencey videos, he sometimes collabs with Elmer to help with the sciencey side of his theories

Mush does cooking/baking videos and Blink sits on the counter eating all his ingredients

Spot, Romeo and a few of the other smaller Newsies appear in the background of the others videos

They also do monthly live streams for a good cause, they often do things for LGBT charities, Disabilities Charities and Charities that help families under the poverty line

Also they have a continuous storyline in some of their videos that there are alternate versions of all of them

Think like Antisepticeye or Darkiplier

So, I was reading the newsies script and this might just be the most heartbreaking thing ever

(CRUTCHIE realizes his recovery is just a fantasy and turns away from Jack)

Crutchie: I want a dog, a big fluffy boy, like a husky, a lorge one. We could go in hikes and runs, it would be great!

Jack: you can’t even run... how would you care for it? Just take Race, he’s low maintenance and will eat the food you drop on the floor.

We all know that Jack wants to be a cowboy, and cowboy was at some point his nickname. We also know that cowboys were gay, so, if Jack=cowboy and cowboy=gay then Jack=gay. It was always canon.
