Hi love here I come with my first spontaneous idea đŠˇ
Reader is the Commodore's sister but sick of the ways of society. When Jack saves Elisabeth, reader is the one who persuaded James not to kill Jack and also the one he happens to threat in order to escape. Sheâs somehow drawn to the Captain and later gives Will the keys to the cell to set him free. Jacks thoughts circle around her, too and they reunite when she swings last minute from the Dauntless over to the Interceptor to join the pirates making wayâŁď¸
Curious of The Seas
A/N: Literally fell in love with your ask oh my god, couldn't stop thinking about it before I began writing!! Thank you so much for this request! Pairings: Jack Sparrow x F!Reader, Will Turner x F!Reader (Platonic), James Norrington x F!Reader (siblings)
"Don't slouch, stand straight," Commodore Norrington hissed at you. You glared at your brother, curving your lips downward. You hated how strict and loyal he was to the British Crown and how he enforced his rules onto you, despite being his "precious baby sister."Â
Your brother didn't hate you, but he sure did a good job of making you hate him. He was pacing his quarters back and forth, rehearsing what he would say to Miss Elizabeth Swann upon meeting her. You rolled your eyes at the pathetic scene, realizing that if your brother were to marry Miss Swann you were next on the list for the most eligible bachelorette in Port Royal. Your body cringed at the thought and you wriggled your back to shake off the eerie feeling crawling down your spine and focused on trying to ease your brother at the moment.
"James, there is no point in stressing over something as simple as this. Tell her you are in love with-" You began but frowned when he interjected,
"Love? Don't be ridiculous!"
"So, you're not in love with her?" You inquired, raising an eyebrow.
"No, no, I very much am in love with her. But it is not proper for a man such as myself to say trivial things to the daughter of the Governor!" Your brother reasoned and you sighed in an exasperated tone, shifting your gaze out the window.
Elizabeth had stared at you with a quizzical look on her face when your brother and you had first approached her. You both shared the same expression of disdain for the situation. It was very clear to see that she was indifferent to your brother and surely was the very last man that she had any interest for. You, on the other hand, dearly loved your brother and wanted to save him from any heartache that she would cause him. You chewed your lip nervously, watching them exchange a few words of greetings before walking away. The commodore glanced over his shoulder, mouthing a few warnings to reign your behavior in for the biggest moment of his life before stalking away.
Huffing in annoyance, you picked the ends of your dress up and marched past the Governor who was just about to start a conversation with you. He awkwardly shut his mouth and watched you walk away to stand on the other corner of the pillar where your brother and Elizabeth stood. He leaned backward to get a good look at you, sending you another glare before returning his full attention to the woman in front of him with a nervous smile. You sighed, gazing out to the sea. Your brother had taken you once beyond Port Royal when you were a little girl and he swore it was something he very much regretted; all you could ever do since then was talk about sailing the seas. You desired to travel across the world, collect artifacts, and live a free life. Your brother scoffed at your desires, stating that he would rather die than see his little sister galloping around like a pirate of all creatures.
As you gazed out into the horizons with a look of yearning, you heard the loudest splash from below. Peering over the edges of the wall, you frowned at the ripples that seemed to bloom near the rocks and you instantly pulled back from your position and walked around to notice your brother screaming Elizabeth's name.
"What did you do?" You exclaimed, resting a hand on his shoulder. He pulled away from your grasp, beginning to take his coat off but you grabbed hold of him,
"The rocks, James! She's lucky that she didn't hit them on her way down! Come, we can reach her at the docks!" You urged him, yanking his arm. He seemed instilled with distraught, at a loss for words, "She must've jumped by your mere presence!"
Your brother sent you a nasty scowl and the playful smirk on your lips faded away instantaneously. You knew this was no joking matter; the poor woman could've died on her way down and she was to be betrothed to him anyway. As your brother scampered off with the rest of the guards, you found your feet rooted to the ground as you stared up at the sky. Something was amiss. The clouds darkened and circled about gravely, and the sea no longer held its silky blue blanket to comfort you. Before you could try and comprehend what must've occurred, you felt an urgent tug around your arms and you sharply turned to find yourself facing the Governor.
"Come now, my dear, you mustn't dawdle around when my daughter's life is in danger!" He exclaimed and you frowned at his words, resisting the urge to roll your eyes at him. Even if you wanted to help Elizabeth, there was surely no way you could swim into the waters with this puffy dress around you. You followed him down to the docks, pushing past the British officers to find yourself facing Elizabeth coughing up heaps of water from her lungs and then... a pirate.
With all the rifles surrounding him, you nearly thought they were aimed at your brother who stood in the way. You could only make out half his face, oblivious to the ensuing conversation that your brother was currently engaged in. You peeked around the Commodore's shoulder, carefully eyeing the strange man in your presence when his eyes flickered over to you for a sharp second before returning to your brother. Your breath hitched at the moment, taking in his disheveled and wet appearance as your brother remained as the shield between the man and you.
"He's a pirate," Your brother growled, his jaw clenching as he barked orders for his arrest. He ignored your gaping stare as he continued, "Sparrow, I assume?"
"Jack Sparrow?" You interjected, your mouth practically on the floor as you stared at him. The corner of the pirate's lips curved into a small smirk,
"It's Captain Jack Sparrow, love," He smiled with a wink. You smiled back before your brother forcefully shoved you behind him once again. He made a mental note to have a discussion with you about your behavior as soon as you returned home. He took the pirate's belongings and derided him for his lack of proper weapons, but it bothered him so deeply that you were so enchanted by the man. It irked him to think that his sister would fall foolish to a PIRATE of all people. He forcefully grabbed onto Jack's arm and began dragging him off before you cut him off,
"James! James!" You cried out, and your brother halted in his tracks and sent you a menacing scowl.
"Not another word from you, (Y/N)." He hissed, and you scoffed before pulling your skirt up ever so slightly to march up to your brother,
"This man, pirate or not, has just saved your betrothed's life! I suggest you at least show some mercy upon him!"
"One good deed is not enough to redeem a man's life of wickedness," Your brother corrected you as Jack was being handcuffed by a Redcoat.
"Though it seems enough to condemn him," Jack added, and you offered him a sympathetic look before turning to your brother with pleading eyes.
"Brother, please. I beg of you, consider an alternative for this man." You prodded him, as your eyes fell onto Elizabeth who smiled softly at your words.
"Please do so," Jack muttered, before dragging his bound hands around your neck. You gasped in response, tugging at the chains as your brother panicked.
"No one shoots!" The Commodore bellowed, holding his hands in the air, "Let go of my sister."
"Only if you return my belongings," Jack taunted with a haughty grin. He leaned closer to lowly utter into your ears, "You must be regretting your kindness, do you not?"
"I don't, but it seems that you'll regret it," You whispered, as you watched the guards hand in his belongings in a bundle. Jack nudged your back with his knee ever so lightly to grab hold of his things and you begrudgingly did so, before sharply turning around to face him.
"Now if you'll do me the pleasure... my, I don't think I know your name..." He said with a sly smirk. You frowned at him,
"It's Miss Norrington to you," You spat, placing his hat on. As you placed his sword, belt, and other personnel around him, you could feel his intense stare burning deep into you. If it was of lust or attraction, you did not know and at the moment did not necessarily care. Your mind was fixated on other things, and your brother was seething in rage as he watched Jack give him a look regarding your body against his that made him want to hurl. To think his sister was so close to a gruesome pirate! It was preposterous!
As you tied the last remaining string of his belt around him, you looked up at him with disgust. Not only was he a pirate, but this would be the talk of the town, and your brother's and your reputation would be spoiled. Your brother could easily regain his good fortune, but you were never as lucky. You hated the way the women would gossip and to think it was all spoiled over one man you decided to be too merciful with because your curiosity could not be controlled made you ready to commit arson.
"Is this how you repay me?" You hissed and the pirate smirked at your words,
"I saved your friend's life, and now you save me. Besides, you did after all wish for me to live. Now, suffer those consequences. When shall a beautiful lady such as yourself realize to never mess with a pirate?" He chuckled, before harshly turning you around with his gun aimed at your head. Your brother flinched at the sudden movement, making sure you were alright.Â
"Ladies and gentlemen, you will always remember this as the day you almost caught Jack Sparrow," The pirate's voice boomed from behind you and the very next second you found yourself thrust upon your brother and Elizabeth. As Jack Sparrow hurriedly began his escape, he did not fail to include a personal message from his heart, "Thank you very much, Miss Norrington. I shall not ever forget such kindness!"
And you weren't ready to forget him, either. It would be for another reason. As the night raged on with a surge of pirates infiltrating Port Royal, you felt a growing desire to do something about it. Your brother had joined the Governor for his safety and left you at home to be tended to by the maids. Upon realizing that the front door would burst open regardless of the circumstances, you quietly slipped out the window in your nightly attire and made your way to the blacksmith's quarters where you knew for a fact that your good friend Will Smith would be. Will and you had grown as siblings; he was there for you more than your brother had been. He had anticipated your arrival anyway but found himself in jeopardy when his ears gathered the news that Elizabeth Swann had been abducted by the pirates. He was pacing around when you arrived and he quickly latched onto your shoulders,
"They've taken Elizabeth! I tried my best but-" Will began but you silenced him, bringing a hand to his mouth.
"I know what you must be going through. But there is not enough time. I heard you helped imprison Jack Sparrow." You whispered and he nodded his head, eyes wide as he tried to make the best of the situation, "Come, I have the key with me, we can both interrogate him and seek his help." Your hand fell to his own and led him towards the streets.
"Wait a minute," Will stopped you, and with a glance over your shoulder you already knew what he was about to say. He was going to prevent you from going. "(Y/N), I know you've always wished to escape Port Royal, but I cannot bring harm to you once you step foot onto the waters."
"Will," You chastised him, "I am no longer a little girl. I am very capable of handling my own matters."
"You are inexperienced, that's all I can say." Will rebuked your claim and you gasped at his words, before furrowing your brows,
"So are you!"
"Ah, but I shall be bringing Sparrow with me to help find Elizabeth."
"Oh, don't be so dull! I can help Sparrow and you as well. Do not prevent me from doing so! If it is out of fear that a pirate may do something towards a woman of my status, I assure you that no such thing will occur! If he dares to even look at me, I shall see to it that his eyes are gouged out by his blade!" You reasoned and Will took a step backwards, his lips parting in shock at your words. You had the spirit of a pirate in you that was for sure, and that was exactly what he feared.
"I cannot let you join. Your brother is... already facing loss," He replied in an awkward tone, considering how much he cared about Elizabeth, "He would be devasted to find you gone as well. Just stay put for now. I'm sure there shall be something more exciting for you in Port Royal."
You muttered a few unladylike curses under your breath and reluctantly offered him the key to the jail cell, "At least tell Sparrow that I was... delighted by his presence."
Will raised a suspicious eyebrow at your remark, unsure of how to respond. He nodded his head and then left you alone, as you brought your hands over your arms as your mind wandered towards the sea once again.
To say that Jack Sparrow was surprised by Will's statement regarding you would be an understatement. He couldn't wrap his head around the fact that you so willingly offered him the key to his escape, considering how he had humiliated your brother and especially you in front of everyone at the docks earlier in the day. He chewed his lip, his eyes dilating at the thought of you. The way you stared at him in defiance, your temples rising and falling with the way you clenched your jaw. Of course, who could forget the sensation of your fingers pressed up against him as you fastened his belt? As much of the ladies' man that Jack was, there was something different about you. You weren't like Giselle or Scarlet, complaining about superficial things or just merely trying to get into his pants. He could tell there was this curious spirit fighting to break free when he first laid eyes on you. The way you cautiously peered over your brother's shoulder had made him... well, he certainly wouldn't say his heart skipped a beat. He wasn't a silly little boy. He was a man! A grown man, a pirate! CAPTAIN Jack Sparrow, mind you. And yet here he was, trying to justify to himself that what he felt for you was nothing more than just infatuation that would surely pass on.
But it didn't. It never did. While of course, his thoughts about stealing The Interceptor were his priority, he just couldn't stand still without his mind fleeting over to the very image of you, dressed in that regal bright blue gown and your hair all curled and pinned to form the most exquisite portrait of a woman he'd ever seen in his life. He smirked to himself at the thought of you, wondering what you must be doing at Port Royal at the moment. What if your brother had you married off to someone else? What if you were to live the rest of your life as a boring wife to an equally boring officer? He shook his head, wriggling himself free from those imaginative concoctions. He was a pirate, damn it. He had better things to think about than just a woman he had seen days ago.
"You've got to be kidding me," Your brother grumbled as he pushed past you. You had boarded The Interceptor with him, not because you had wanted to - even though you took every chance out on the sea with gratefulness - but because your brother was so worried about the possibility of your abduction that he wished you were beside him at all times. Including those incredibly still moments of him gazing out into the sea. To him, he seemed to have an air of control, all the world's burdens upon his shoulder. This was his duty. When you gazed out into the sea, however, it was a plethora of possibilities. The unmarked territories you could claim, the desire for you to seek out treasure from all corners. You could be free. And no one would stop you. Save your brother, but that was something he'd always do anyway. Your attention focused on The Dauntless a couple hundred meters away as you noticed flocks of the British crew on small boats were paddling towards the ship you were in. Your brother gazed through his telescope and snarled at the sight, hesitantly passing the device for you to see as well. From afar, you saw Will Turner and... Jack Sparrow? The pirate? Both of them were flapping their arms around trying to make use of the mast. You guffawed at the sight, laughing at them. You turned to face your brother who quickly reminded you with his gaze about your behavior and you swallowed the amusement away as fast as you could.
The two ships - The Dauntless and The Interceptor - were locked horns now and your brother ordered you to come with him to board The Dauntless and put an end to Sparrow's madness. You reluctantly agreed, your eyes scanning around to see any sight of the familiar pirate you had so longed to see.Â
"Search every cabin, every hull," Your brother barked, before turning back to you, "And you stay close to me. Do not go wandering about like a fool like you always do."Â
You glowered at him, electing not to anger him any further as you stood on the deck. You watched him disappear among the surge of officers onto The Dauntless. You sighed, pacing back and forth when you noticed two men swing over to The Interceptor. It was Will and Jack.
Eyes widening in surprise, you tried to call attention to the situation but your cries fell on deaf ears. You stomped your foot and watched Jack cut off the rope ties, one by one. His gaze was fixed downwards until he looked up momentarily, and there you stood. He stood there for a few more seconds, completely surprised by your presence. Deep down, as much as he hated to admit it, he feared that he would never see you again.
"What are you doing? Cut the rope!" Will cried out in confusion before he followed Jack's eyes to you. Jack looked upwards at the rope still connecting the two boats before turning back to you,
"Jump, Miss Norrington!" He instructed, and you stepped forward, holding onto a long piece of rope. Upon hearing your name, your brother rushed out of the Captain's Quarters, pushing past his men.
"(Y/N)!" He yelled, his eyes daring you to make another move. Realizing that this was the only opportunity to acquire what you had spent so long yearning for; the deep blue seas, the adventure, and the whimsical treasures, you sent him one final glance before running off the deck of The Dauntless and swinging onto The Interceptor. With the final rope now gone, and the ship sailing forward at full speed your brother looked at you as if you were dead to him.
When The Dauntless was far behind and there seemed to be no danger at the present moment, you walked towards your friend Will and the pirate beside him. Will seemed elated that you were there, and he hugged you so warmly that you nearly forgot that he was not related to you by blood. Releasing you from his arms, he sheepishly stepped aside as Jack Sparrow stepped forward.
"Miss Norrington, it is a pleasure to have you on board with us. I almost feared you might not have the guts to swing over," He teased, his hand graciously wrapping around your own as he kissed your fingers with such gentleness that it surprised you. You cracked half a smile at him, narrowing your eyes, before responding,
"You may call me (Y/N), and please, I never turn down an opportunity for adventure."

How They Confess
For the anon who wanted to know how the characters would confess their feelings, and how they would react if the reader confessed first.
This includes Jack, Will, Lizzie, James, Beckett, and Barbossa.
Jack:
Jack isnât one to make a grand show of things, and if heâs to confess, itâll be in a moment of simplicity. Youâll be curled up together in his cabin, warm and drowsy, soft light shining out from the lanterns. He can only admit it to you when heâs completely relaxedâhe can hardly admit it to himself sometimes, how much he loves you. But he says it softly in your ear, and youâre more pleased than surprised, already tangled together in the sheets. Your brainâs a bit fuzzy anyway, and the full weight of it wouldnât hit you until the next morning. But by then heâs up and out on deck, and youâre left with the knowledge that he really does love you after all.Â
If youâre the first to confess, Jack would be taken aback. He doesnât expect you to love him, not really, so it comes as a bit of a shock to his system. It would take him some time to process, too, and he has to do some serious introspection before he can say it back. Love is a heavy thing in his eyes, and heâs not about to mess it up.Â
Will:
Though he can be bashful, Will is completely unashamed of his feelings for you. If youâre of the same social station, heâll simply tell you how he feels by taking you out for a walk along the oceanfront. If youâre too far above him on the social ladder, heâll keep his feelings to himself, though they shine through with all the things he does for you to make life easier and more convenient.Â
If you speak up first, Willâs a little embarrassed, but in a good way. He feels a little guilty for not saying anything, but quickly gets over it; heâs just happy you feel the same, and that youâre comfortable enough in your affection to tell him. He likes that you can own itânot everyone is attracted to blacksmiths. Besides, hearing the words from you is just the confidence boost he needs.Â
Elizabeth:
Elizabeth wants to make her confession as perfect as she can. She does it over a nice dinner, just the two of you, and sheâs pulled out the candles for the occasion. Sheâs a romantic at heart, and wants to have the right atmosphere in which to tell you how she feels. Sheâs really one for the aesthetic. Itâs honestly rather cute, the effort she puts in, and youâd be lying if you said you didnât enjoy it.Â
If youâre the first to confess, Lizzie is just delighted. She has butterflies for days, and be prepared for all the secret little messages dictated by high society. Iâm talking fan-signals, flower language, the whole package. Even though she loves you earnestly, and even though you know both know it, sheâs absolutely going to make the most of the courtship process and all it entails.
James:
We all know how awkward James is about confessing his feelings. Heâs been rehearsing for days, and is almost too anxious to do it in the first place. Heâs afraid of coming off too strong, and overanalyzes every interaction youâve had together. He ensures the setting is both pleasant and proper, and though it may seem a little stiff, youâre aware the confession is genuine. That being said, the moment you indicate the feeling is mutual, his composure cracks and he gives you that huge smile he tries so hard to hide.Â
If you beat him to it, heâd be shocked. Not only is he surprised that you made the first move, which is so expected of him, but he honestly had no idea you felt that way about him. It takes him a good long time to find the right words to tell you he feels the same, and youâll have to be patient as he recovers from his astonishment.Â
Beckett:
This man is never, ever, going to admit to loving you. He wonât even let himself think about his affection for you. In all truth and honesty, heâs terrified of his feelings, seeing them as a weakness that someone will figure out and exploit. Heâs also afraid you wonât feel the same way. How could you? It would take a serious moment of vulnerabilityâeither when something awful happens to you, or when you show him honest tenderness. Either way, itâs completely unexpected and almost unbelievableâŚuntil you see the fear in his eyes and realize itâs the truth.Â
If you make the first move, Beckett doesnât think youâre serious. Heâs willing to play along, but he figures you want something from him. So he brushes it off, though your words linger in his mind for days after. Heâs probably in his office doing paperwork when it hits him that you were being completely serious, and heâs absolutely overcome by it. He makes sure to explain himself when he sees you next; he just didnât think someone could feel that way about him.Â
Barbossa:
Barbossa is, if nothing else, a gentleman at heart. Again, this will likely be a dinner confession, though Hector isnât nearly as anxious as Elizabeth might be. Heâs been around a while, and heâs really only going to say anything if heâs fairly certain youâre interested. He also isnât offended if you rejectâhe completely understands why someone wouldnât want to be with him. Heâs relaxed about the whole affair so you never have to feel nervous over any of it. If it turns out you are interested, heâs going to treat you with perfect curtesy and warm affection.
If youâre the first to say anything, Hectorâs a bit smug. He might be slightly sheepish that you beat him to it, but overall, heâs happy to hear you say it. Heâll tease you over it in good humor, though he knows you can give as good as you get. Heâs secretly happy to hear you say it because heâs insecure about his age.Â

How they react when seeing scars from the past
Jack Sparrow:
⢠You couldnât deny the fact that you instantly felt insecure about the scars from your dark past when Jack Sparrow saw them for the first time
⢠Jack may think that someone is currently hurting you and will question you about it, at first he thinks otherwise as you tell him the honest truth
⢠Jack would want to and is capable of disposing of anyone who has the nerve to hurt you, you may have to hold him back before things end badly
⢠âIf you want them to live, you better keep them out of my sights.â He would say and you would just roll your eyes at that statement from him
⢠âYouâre being ridiculous.â You throw back, in return, getting a scoff as he turns to walk away
⢠As if Jack Sparrow wasnât overly protective already, this made him even more, especially after telling him about the painful past, how they got there and who actually did this to you
⢠You agree that if Jack ever encounters the monster, he could do whatever he pleases
Hector Barbossa:
⢠Although you knew you couldnât hide the scars forever, Barbossa would see them sometime and you wonât have a choice other than to be truthful of how you received scars from the past
⢠After he sees them for the first time, he thinks that youâre in harmâs way and youâre just not telling him
⢠Once youâre finally able to get him to calm down, youâre able to tell him how they really did happen and Barbossa believes you, but he still canât shake the thought that you arenât being completely honest in the beginning after he made his own suggestion on how they came to be
⢠You reassure him continuously until he gets it through his head, which takes you a while but youâre able to help him think of it differently than before
⢠In the beginning, Barbossa is actually very understanding about how this can be a sensitive topic for you or anyone for that matter to talk about, so he waits patiently on your terms when youâre ready to tell him
⢠The only thing you arenât completely truthful about are the names you had given him of who did that to you, you change their names to protect their identity from Barbossa
⢠Youâre a very forgiving person and thatâs one of the things Barbossa loves about you
⢠You couldnât help it, you were born that way and continue to live it
Will Turner:
⢠Heâs not quite sure what to make of it at first, but when you tell him your story, you donât leave out a detail and it hits home to him
⢠Ever since seeing your scars for the first time, Will has sworn to be even more overly protective of you
⢠He keeps a sharp eye on you, and when he canât, he gets someone else to look after you, not giving that person a choice, he couldnât go without knowing you were more than okay and safe
⢠It helps him to have a peace of mind knowing you were being looked after, when he asked who did this to you, you made the mistake of telling him the actual names of those responsible for it and would later come to regret it
⢠Will secretly turns it into a manhunt to catch those responsible
⢠You donât find out until they have actually found the people, they bring them to trial and sentence them
⢠They were sent to be executed, but you didnât attend it
⢠Youâre a little upset that Will went and did that, but than youâve come to understand that he did so with reason and now, with that taken care of, it makes it a little safer for you and other individuals
⢠It prevents them from hurting anyone else and you took victory in that
⢠Though you were a little more forgiving than Will, you wanted others to be safe and sometimes there is no other way to make sure of that
⢠Will would eventually come find you later and apologize to you for doing what he did
⢠You had already forgiven him

Howâs It Gonna End by Tom Waits
đşđđžđż Â
ăťIt wasnât easy being with Jack, then again, it wouldnât have been easy being with you either -Â
ăťOver the years you had gotten into a flow - knowing each otherâs quirks, your wants and desires; vices and virtues.Â
ăťWhen other people are around you - thatâs when it isnât easy. Because all they see is two people on a whole other planet - you have inside jokes, lingo, a way of communicating that others canât comprehend quick enough
ăťAnd when Jack gets attention from others ... you have to admit, you do get a little jealous. Okay, a lot jealous.Â
ăťEspecially when heâs around women, he canât help but flirt back. And itâs taken a while for him to learn to cut it out
ăťCaptain Jack Sparrow has always been known for his extravagance, his over-the-top nature. And youâre known for your chaos, your unruly nature; and of course your clumsiness.Â
ăťBut somehow your clumsiness is always connected to luck. Knocking something over will somehow lead to a distraction where youâre able to escape later on.Â
ăťYou found each other in your youth. Constantly rescuing each other by chance - destiny always found a way for you to run into each otherÂ
ăťThe stories you could tell!Â
ăťThe amount of times youâve pulled each other from the brink are countless
ăťWhere one went, the other was always soon to follow
ăťYou have no idea how many times you both faced the gallows
ăťThey didnât seem all that frightening nowÂ
ăťYou loved the Black Pearl just as much as Jack. You saw her as your freedom.
ăťWhen Jack was pulled from your world into Davy Jonesâ locker, you went straight in there with him.Â
ăťThe Kraken was the easy part. The time spent in that godforsaken desert was hell. Literal hell.Â
ăťUnluckily, you didnât end up in the same place.Â
ăťDavy knew Jack would be fine if you were with him, so he separated the both of you.Â
ăťAnd in the time frame, Jack had inched closer to insanity - not having you by his side made his mind plunge into instabilityÂ
ăťYou thought it was fun ... at first (insanity was/is second nature to you.)
ăťBut Davy had more tricks up his sleeve, ones that he somehow knew would get to you
ăťThen little crabs started appearing.Â
âAw rocks.â You said out loud, moving to lay down and gaze at the perfectly rounded sphere.
âOh, not rocks. Rocks with legs-â
ăťAnd when they moved, you followedÂ
ăť âY/N! Y/N ARE YOU REAL? WHAT ARE YOU DOINGÂ âERE?â Jack bellowed from the moving Black Pearl
   âYOU JUMPED, I JUMPED.âÂ
âOh yes, Kraken. I remember now, he was a slimey smelly big thing wasnât he-â
ăťYou found your way on deck and Jack swooped you into his arms. He held you close against him, holding one hand on the back of your head.Â
ăťNow others think it weird, but Jack likes to smell you. So when you were nuzzled in his arms, he did exactly that
ăť When you found everyone on the beach, you nearly ran to Tia Dalma. Sheâs been a close friend throughout the years.Â
ăťYou didnât feel any resentment towards Elizabeth. Holding onto grudges didnât make sense in your line of work.Â
ăťAnd you kept her secret.Â
ăťThe relationship with you and Jack means you share a lot of the same enemies.Â
ăťBarbossa, the man who marooned the two of you on separate islands, had come back to save you from Davy Jones Locker. It made you laugh. You actually audibly laughed when you saw him
ăťAlthough you did like Jack the monkey
ăťWill was ... less than enthused to see you
ăťOnly because he thought you were bat sh*t crazy
ăťBut Elizabeth could only blush - she didnât look you in the eye until a week later
ăťYou were present during the meeting of the Bretheren Court. And were incredibly excited to see Jackâs father again.Â
ăťBack in the day he and yourself hit it off nearly instantly. He thought you would have made a brilliant Pirate Lord, if only you werenât so clumsy
ăťTo Jackâs disbelief you wanted a war with the East India Trading Company
âTheyâve taken too much from us, Jack.â
ăťYet again, destiny had spared you. The fight with Davy Jones and Beckett had caused many casualties, but neither you or Jack had been hurt
ăťYou were able to sail away... until Gibbs had fallen asleep and the Pearl was stolen yet again
ăťJack has mastered how to patch you up; cuts, burns, bullet wounds etc. In another life, he would have made a great healer. And when you brought how talented he is with remedies and such, he said: âLove, Iâm only good at this because Iâm looking after you. I couldnât care about anyone else.âÂ
ăťJack likes listening to you read out loud. But most of the time you get bored of the story and start making things up, while still holding the book so Jack has no idea what the real plot of the story is ...Â
ăťMany might think you two have a treasure cove of riches. But really you just have a small tockens of each other on your persons
ăťHe has a trinket that you found many years ago in his hair, twisted around a dreadlock
ăťYou wear a ring of his. He gave it to you as a sign of his affection and love. A little like a promise ring

Words of Affirmation, Physical Touch and Gift Giving
Jack is big on words. But what really gets to him is when you compliment him - when the words are coming from you, they mean something. People might think Jack is a touchy feely guy; but heâs really not. Heâs calculating with how he touches you - moving hair behind your ear, being the big spoon, dancing with you. His favourite love language is gift giving both giving and receiving. He absolutely ADORES presents. Especially all things sparkly.Â

Since you're asking for prompts,I was envisioning Will confessing to the reader in the same way George confessed to Charlotte in Queen Charlotte (the "my heart calls your name" confession) and thought it would suit Will really well!! Like maybe reader puts herself in danger by trying to save Will or something idk
Pairing: Will Turner x Reader Rating || Genres || Warnings: T. Romance. None. A/N: I just ADORE Will Turner so much :3 and I love Charlotte the series as well so this was the PERFECT blend! Sorry for any mistakes folks! Also If you read this please please tell me what you think!!!
Your head was pounding. And not from drinking too much ale. You were sure of it.
Blinking your eyes, you were met with an unfamiliar ceiling. Normally you would wake in a hammock onboard the Black Pearl, with the gentle sway of the ship welcoming you to another day.
But everything was steady and there was no creaking or moaning of the ship as it sailed.
Your eyes blinked once more, to clear them from any remaining sleep. Slowly your brain began to recall the last thing you remembered.
Davy Jone's crew.
A fight on an island.
Fleeing to the Black Pearl.
The Kraken attacking the ship.
The entire crew fighting valiantly to save themselves and their ship.
Huge tentacles rising from the mysterious depths of the waters you had traveled for so long.
Ready to kill.
To drag someone to a watery grave.
To drag Will to his doom.
Will!
You sat up with a loud gasp, eyes frantically darting from one end of the unfamiliar room to the other before finally landing on a familiar figure that had only just stepped into the room.
Will Turner stood at the threshold, holding a bowl of what could only be food. The scent of it wafted through the air and your stomach grumbled in protest at being denied nourishment.
Yet you could not move. Could only stare at the man as he stood before you.
"I see I managed to save you then." You finally said, feeling a little uncomfortable under his gaze. He was looking at you as if you were the very moon that hung in the sky. Which was utterly ridiculous because that was how he saw Elizabeth.
"And that we managed to escape in one piece." You raised a hand to your head, only to be greeted by a bandage wrapped around the entirety of it. A slight twinge of pain against your left temple made you aware of where exactly your injury was. "So, what did I miss? After I passed out?"
Whatever emotional turmoil Will had been battling he pushed it aside in favor of walking forward and handing the bowl to you. As you began to spoon the watery broth to your mouth, he pulled up a chair to sit beside your bed.
"After you passed out, we all piled into the lifeboats. I managed to haul you in as well." He paused almost looking at you expectantly. You raised an eyebrow at him. "And you expect me to thank you for saving me?" You asked in a dry tone, to which he rolled his eyes before continuing.
"Elizabeth was the last of us to get on. But Jack.........Jack stayed. To act as diversion for the kraken."
Your eyes widened and you dropped your spoon into your nearly empty bowl. "He...what?" You whispered, sounding just as in disbelief as you felt. Sorrow passed over Will's feature as he nodded gravely. "Jack's dead, Y/n." He confirmed, to which you took a shuddering breath and closed your eyes, before slowly falling back against the wall behind you.
The both of you sat in silence, with Will reaching out to gently and almost hesitantly placing a hand on top of yours as a sign of comfort. "I'm sorry, y/n. I knew you were close." Tears pricked your eyes but you didn't let them fall. Though you did give a small nod. "As close as a person can be with someone who took them under their protection."
That had been the extent of your relationship with Jack. Your families were old friends, and even related by blood somewhere down the line. And when you had decided to travel the seas as a pirate, Jack had been the one who agreed to let you sail with him. Not many pirates were happy having a female presence onboard, but you had proved yourself enough times that it no longer bothered them.
You had been with Jack through thick and thin. Through fire and water. You had been the only one on his side, along with Gibbs, when Barbossa had mutinied against him.
If it weren't for Jack, you wouldn't have realized your dream of becoming a pirate. And if it hadn't been for Jack, you would never have met Will Turner.
When you had first met Will, him and Jack had just arrived at Tortuga to look for a ship to go after Will's beloved Elizabeth. You had been slightly mistrustful towards him at first, and also a little jealous since Jack seemed to be spending all his time with him. But given how easily Will had befriended the rest of the crew, despite his own mistrust of pirates, you had taken to forming an unlikely acquaintanceship.
You were the best swords woman of your age, and it showed when you would take to the deck and practice every single day.
                     âââââââââ
Then one day, your sword clashed with Will's.
Your eyes met over the joined blades, gauging the silent question in his. A smirk was your response before you stepped to the side and raised your sword in response.
And so a battle of wits and skill began.
Your swords clashed, your feet danced, your gazes never wavered and neither did your determination.
The entire deck was your practice ground, and the rest of the crew had gotten well out of the way when they had seen the both of you begin to duel. The both of you used every prop to gain the upper hand. But never once did either of you try a dirty trick. And while there had been a sense of pride behind each fell of your swords, slowly they began to grow playful. As did your words.
Back and forth, back and forth. With your swords and with your teasing insults and quips. Smiled full of passion and energy playing about your lips as you both danced to a tune only you could here.
It finally stopped when Jack called out to you. Neither of you yielded, or allowed the other to gain the upper hand. So, with sweat lining your brows and barely able to get a word out with how you both panted for breath, you were only able to smile at one another and say.
"To be continued good sir?" You had said in a slightly mocking yet playful tone to which he had grinned and given you a little bow before speaking.
"As the lady wishes."
But you never did pick back up on the match.
Instead the both of you would simply find each other and talk. He spoke of his life growing up as an orphan, with no money and no family. You had spoken of your own struggles, and slowly, without you realizing, in the weeks that it took you to finally catch up to the Black Pearl, you were made aware of your true feelings for Will.
You would watch him as he interacted with the rest of the crew, and on more then one occasion Jack had caught you simply smiling at him. He had tried to discourage you, telling you of who Will really loved and how nothing could be done about it.
Especially not when he was in love with Elizabeth.
You knew of the consequences, but you simply enjoyed his company too much to just stop spending time with him. And while you knew you were setting yourself up for a lot of heartache, it didn't stop you from forming a companionship with Will.
Although that too came to an abrupt and almost cruel end.
To cut a long story short, Elizabeth was rescued and Barbossa was defeated. Jack had his ship and his crew.
And Will returned home to marry Elizabeth.
Whatever friendship had been blossoming between the both of you had fizzled out the moment Elizabeth had been rescued. And though you knew you were setting yourself up for heartbreak, you did not comprehend just how much it would hurt. How his lack of presence would effect you. He hadn't even offered a proper goodbye when he had left. You had thought that perhaps as a friend he would do you the courtesy, but it was not so.
He never looked back at you.
Not once.
                     âââââââââ
And so you decided to put him out of your mind. But never your heart. You couldn't put him out of your heart and it only made you miss him more.
So when he returned, this time for the purpose of saving Elizabeth once more, you were cold towards him. Cold and distant, even when he had approached you to speak with you. Your heart had cursed you for not speaking with him, but you were still too hurt over his dismissal of you the last time that you had no desire to forgive him.
All that vanished though, when Davy Jones appeared and agreed to take Will aboard the Flying Dutchman. You knew it was Jack's doing, that he had a plan in place, but that didn't stop you from stepping forward and volunteering to go along with him.
Out of love? Out of desperation? Out of your compulsion to protect the people you cared about? You did not know.
Jack had tried to protest, but Davy Jones accepted.
And so you found yourself standing beside Will, watching as the Black Pearl sailed away, leaving you onboard a ship of dangerous pirates, and a man who did not know how much you loved him.
At every turn, you tried your best to help him. You had learned long ago when to keep your head down and simply follow orders. Will was not a pirate. He picked up every chance he could to fight back. And when he discovered his father was one of the crew members, you had comforted him. And when he had been punished for his mistake with lashings, you had been the one to tend to him, cleaning his wounds and wiping away the blood. You had held his hand as he twitched from the pain, had stroked his hair when he needed a comforting touch.
Your mind screamed at you, at how you were setting yourself for heartbreak once more. But your heart rejoiced. You knew he was doing whatever he was to help Elizabeth, to save her, but you couldn't help it. All those feelings you had buried came rushing back to the top.
Your escape from the Flying Dutchman as well as the Kraken was pure luck. However, by your second encounter with the Kraken, when it came after Jack, your luck had run out.
You had been trying your best to avoid the lashing tentacles, as they grabbed man after man and threw them into the sea. You had successfully avoided capture, but only barely. Your eyes had frantically searched the deck, looking for a way to avoid yet another tentacle when you had spotted Will.
With a tentacle gliding his way to swipe him off his feet and into the water below.
You had screamed his name, had felt yourself leap into action. You ran, throwing yourself forward to push him out of the way. And you succeeded. Only for the tentacle, meant for Will, to hit your body with a force that had your teeth rattling and for you to go flying.
A flash of pain was all you felt at the side of your head. A voice calling out your name in utter alarm and despair was all you remembered.
And then darkness.
                     âââââââââ
Presently, you blinked away your tears as you set aside the bowl and looked around. It was the first time that you noticed you were in some sort of bed built into the wooden walls. The air smelled heavy and musty. Familiar even.
"Are we at Tia Delma's hideout?" You asked, to which you received a nod in response. "How many of us survived?" Will pursed his lips at her question, and you knew the answer could not be good. "Only a few. Gibbs made it. As did the both of us. And Elizabeth." Of course she did, you thought to yourself.
Wanting to change the subject you raised a hand to your head to press your fingers tenderly against your covered temple. "How long have I been asleep?" The thinning of Will's lips told you just how displeased he was with the answer he gave. "Three days. You were barely alive when we reached Tia Delma. She took one look at you and took you to this room. Working on you for hours before finally letting me in to see you." He admitted, sounding almost angry at the woman.
"Remind me to thank her later." You said with a small smile, as you leaned your head back against the wall and sighed. Your hand came up to fiddle with the skull and cross gold necklace that rested at your throat. "I can't believe he's gone." You whispered, feeling the loss of your friend deeply.
"Elizabeth is in pieces because of it."
You blinked. "Why would she be in pieces over Jack's death?" You asked. You had suspicions that the girl never really liked Jack. There was always some sort tension between the both of them.
"Because she loved him."
Will's words had you blinking in utter surprise.
"What?"
He frowned at the confusion on your face. "I thought you knew?" You rolled your eyes. "Oh yes Will, Elizabeth and I sit together for tea and gossip about our love lives." The statement did make him crack a little smile before he continued.
"Well now you know. Elizabeth loved Jack."
"But I thought you loved her. Weren't you going to marry her?" You asked, allowing your curiosity to show. With all that had happened, neither of you had been able to properly sit and speak. Not when your lives had been in constant danger by either cannibals, or mad pirates or mythical creatures or the Company.
So many people were out to kill all of you.
"I was. I thought I loved her. But I realized, when we got back home, that it was nothing but infatuation. She was the one who rescued me when I was found adrift. And we grew up together. So, I allowed my boyhood feelings to grow into something that was never meant to be." He paused for a moment. "Those feelings are all gone now. And I was glad she found someone to love. For a little while." He added sadly, glancing in the direction the door where Elizabeth was probably sitting beyond. You did too, almost expecting Jack to come swaggering in with his usual land-legs and a bottle of ale in his hand.
"I never expected Jack of all people to die. He seemed almost immortal." You admitted.
"Well he proved he was a mortal man and met his doom. And you would've followed him too, if Tia Delma hadn't been here." You glanced at him curiously, not understanding the tone of his voice. He was glaring at you, his eyes almost stormy. "How could you be so reckless? What you did was extremely dangerous, even for you Y/n."
"You mean saving your life?" A frown creased your brow. "I did what I did to save you Will. And if that is a crime then take me to the brig." You snapped with a roll of your eyes. "And aren't people usually grateful to those who save them?"
He glared at you. "Not at the expense of their own life. The Company is taking over the seas, we need every good pirate we can get."
Anger coursed through your veins. "Oh so thats why you were worried about me? Because you didn't want to loose a good pirate. Its all about strategy with you isn't it?" All your past hurt and heartache was beginning to simmer under the surface, and if you weren't careful you would probably say something you would regret. But you didn't care.
His nostrils flared. "How could you think its simply because of that? Do you truly believe I am that shallow?" He spoke angrily to which you gave a mocking nod. "Of course I do. I mean why else would you ignore me once you gained my friendship?"
"I never-"
But you cut him off. "I thought we were friends Will. But the moment you rescued Elizabeth you ignored me as if you never knew me. As if we didn't spend weeks in each other's company. And then you came back, and I was there with you on the Dutchman, but as soon as you saw Elizabeth, once more you pushed me aside. I am not something you can use whenever you desire before putting it aside to gather dust. And even when I save your life, when I rescue you, you say such things to me?" Your voice had slowly started to rise in octave with each passing word. It was a good thing no one was within earshot to hear you.
Will looked angry with every word that came out of your mouth. "You put yourself in grave danger, Y/n. You always have no regard for your own life or your own safety and it worries me."
"And why should that bother you? Or even worry you for that matter. What am I to you?"
"I only wish to help you Y/n. To protect you-" He reached out with his hand almost as if he were about to touch you but stopped.
You turned your head away. "I did not ask for your protection Will, I do not need it. Why would you wish to protect me?"
"Because-" But you didn't allow him to finish.
"Is it because you think of me as some damsel in distress?" He shook his head.
"No Y/n-" Once again he was interrupted from saying his piece.
"Or you do not believe me to be capable of doing anything."
His voice was almost pleading, imploring you to listen to him. "Y/n-"
But you barely heard him, allowing your hurt and pain to blind you as you spoke. "Why? Why do you wish to protect me so?"
"Because I love you!"
His deceleration came out in a shout. One that echoed in your ears and had your mouth parting in utter surprise, while you stared at him in utter disbelief.
For his part, Will had stood from his chair, hands buried in his hair as he began to pace the length of the small room, still speaking in an almost frenzied and desperate manner.
"From the mo-" His voice broke as he met your gaze. "From the moment I saw you." Suddenly he was sitting in front of you on the bed, clutching at your hand in an almost desperate manner as he continued. "I have loved you from the very second I saw you." His words washed over you like a warm ocean breeze.
"I love you desperately Y/n." His voice was trembling, every word sounding almost broken as he spoke. "My heart calls your name. And I cannot loose you. I cannot." With each word his hands raised to cup your face, only to bring you forward and press your lips to his in a desperate kiss.
And you returned it.
You felt your heart heal and break at the same time as he brushed a hand against your bandages. Pulling back from the kiss, he rested his forehead against your own. "I cannot do this without you, Y/n." He admitted to which you wrapped your arms around his shoulders and embraced him with all your strength, hoping to pour all of your love for him in that one simple gesture. "I suppose it is a good thing I love you as well then." You whispered against his neck, to which he let out a small slightly tearful laugh. "I am aware of that. Given how you whispered it to me when you were slipping in and out of consciousness."
You pulled back, staring at wide eyed at his grinning face. "What?!"
âDonât worry. Your secret is safe with me.â He gently brushed his knuckles against your cheek, a gesture that made you blush. Your hand lifted to trace along the side of his face, enjoying how he closed his eyes, as if to savour your touch.
âI will never leave you Will. Just as long as you promise to never leave me.â You said, still stroking his face.
He nodded in response. âI promise.â His hand found the back of your head, urging you forward to close the remaining distance between the both of you.
This time the kiss lasted longer then just a few seconds.

âł warnings: general tomfoolery
âł song: the rocky road to dublinâthe dubliners
masterlist!
⢠Oh god there's two of you now
⢠That's what went through most people's heads upon meeting the both of you side by side
⢠Wil Turner especially. He can hardly deal with one Jack Sparrow, much less another one
⢠It falls on Elizabeth more times than not to keep the peace between all of youâbut even she struggles with keeping the both of you in line
⢠"Remind me why we can't just throw them overboard Elizabeth?" Will all but pleaded at one point
⢠"Because it's their ship Will! Besides, they'd find us again anyways. They always do."
⢠"Got that right, lassie!" You'd hiccuped from somewhere above them, startling everyone as Will and Elizabeth looking upâonly to be met with the sight of you clutching a bottle of gin in your hand and smiling drunkenly
⢠"Oh for fucks sake."
⢠They had to resort to using a mop to get you down from the mast in the end
⢠Apart from all of the other shenanigans the two of you get involved in on the regular, you and Jack have this little superstition
⢠It's not muchâwhen one of you is having trouble thinking of any good ideas or a solution to something, they'll grab the other's hat and swap it with their own, wearing the stolen hat in its place
⢠It's almost as if the two of you believe bad energy gets stuck in the hat and that you have to get rid of it. It's stupid, but the superstition could be worse, that's for sure. Besides, you're the only one who gets the lay a finger on Jacks hat, so that's a bonus
⢠This should really go without saying, but expect some flirting from Captain Jack Sparrow
⢠He can hardly keep his hands to himself half the time, much less his wandering gaze, so you've been known to knock him on the head once or twice
⢠But all is well in the end, even if he does drown you in more nicknames than anyone else
⢠"Could you take the wheel for me real quick, love?"
⢠"Just call me by my name Jack. You've known me long enough by now to at least do that."
⢠"No thanks, darling. I much prefer this."
⢠Jack Sparrow is fucking insufferable, overly cocky, and a bit of an unorthodox pirate. But he's your unorthodox pirateâand vise versa
⢠Neither of you would give up the other for all the gold in the world

Pirates of the caribbean Reactions
ďż˝ďż˝ď¸ Fluff âď¸
â
Jack smirking cuz u look so adorable and small trying to sound serious before u leave to go on land.
Him realizing that u won't see each other for 10 years and u leaving with tears in ur eyes.
U wanted to hear the truth about his feelings towards u so he proved it while the two of u were alone.

Pirate
Pairing: Will Turner x F!Reader, Jack Sparrow x F!Reader (Platonic) Read The Second Part: Not Just A Pirate
That imbecile had left you with Barbossa, and the thought of having to deal with his monkey's stupid chattering had nearly driven you to madness. Seizing any opportunity available, you had found yourself a small boat and began your search for Sparrow. You weren't expecting much from him, considering you were technically a part of his crew - the rest were with Barbossa. Not that it made any difference, though, because at the moment you were without a captain and unfortunately in the eyes of a few redcoats who eyed you, warily. They drew their rifles closer to themselves, marching over with some fire in their eyes.
"Oh, curse me," You muttered underneath your breath, throwing your hat into the water below, before carefully stepping onto a dock. Your foot dangled helplessly onto the boat, almost causing you to lose your balance. Gesturing for a soldier to come help you, you grabbed hold of his arm and hoisted yourself up onto the wooden platforms and sighed in relief, thanking them with false kindness.
"Enough, enough," One of them grumbled, rolling his eyes. He sneezed, the droplets of his mucus flying past you as you cringed at the sight. Despite being a pirate, you still had at least a little bit of hygiene left in you during your days as a "proper" lady. "What brings a girl like you to Port Royal, especially in that poor excuse of a boat?"
You followed the soldier's fingers to the vessel, noticing the way a few splinters poked out from the oars. It was a ghastly sight and a miracle that it had managed to take you this far without sinking. Shaking your head, you came up with the best excuse you could think of,
"I was robbed by a pirate. I was hoping at least one of you would show some mercy and help me find that treacherous man."Â
"Was it Jack Sparrow?" Another soldier chimed in, his voice so delicate as he uttered the name.
"Precisely!" You whispered, excitedly as you wriggled your eyebrows, "Have you seen him lurking about here? I ought to give him a piece of mind!"
"Now, now, listen here, you don't have to do anything," The third soldier cried out with an exasperated sigh, "As misfortunate as your encounter with Sparrow must be, I implore you to go find yourself an inn for the time being." He had this air of haughtiness in his voice, one that made your frown deepen into a snarl. Biting the inside of your cheek, you pushed any emerging ill comments at him down to your boots and merely nodded your head in response.
Pushing past the soldiers, you trailed up the staircase to the cobbled streets of Port Royal and found a group of more soldiers running down the streets from The Governor's quarters. Frowning, your faintly heard the mention of Jack Sparrow among one of the redcoats that passed by you and you instantly figured out what was going on.
Crossing through an alley, you found a familiar set of beads dangling from an individual's head, hiding behind a wagon; he occasionally lifted his head to peer for any danger, unaware of your presence behind him.
"AHEM," You crossed your arms, glaring at him. Either he was ignoring you on purpose, or he was incredibly deaf and stupid. Rolling your eyes, you slapped the back of his head and watched him hurl into the wagon with a yelp of pain. He turned around on his heels, swiftly, narrowing his eyes for a moment to scan your face. Upon recognition, he grinned and held his hands up in the air,
"(Y/N)! Sweetheart, what are you doing here?" He exclaimed, holding onto your hands. You wriggled out of his grasps, before slapping him across his face, sharply.
"You moron! You left me aboard Barbossa's ship! After everything we've been through, I thought you were a brother to me! Family! You've decided to lurk about and be the prying little-"
"Whoa... now, love, we don't have much time to listen to your usual rants, do we?" Jack interjected your thoughts, raising a finger up. He swayed towards you, looking over your shoulder to ensure that there were no redcoats nearby. His eyes then glanced back towards you, "Listen, I think we should split ways and then meet up back at the docks. What do ya say?"
"I say no," You hiss, "I don't trust your words. We go together, or I'll throw you to the soldiers myself!"
"Darlin', you're a pirate too. You're only doing yourself a disservice here," Jack scoffed, and you clutched onto his collar,
"Try me. You cross me one more time, I won't care if you're my captain or like a brother to me, I shall drive my sword through your head and watch you scream for mercy." You threatened him, before shoving him off. Jack dusted his coat, creasing out the new wrinkles you caused with what he assumed was an indifferent expression on his face - he couldn't hide the slight fear your words caused him.Â
As you extended your hand out for Jack to accept, the thunderous footsteps of the redcoats just around the corner caused you both to pick your feet up and run. Jack had hopped over among the roofs, and you had run inside a blacksmith's keep. Grabbing a sword from the sleeping blacksmith, you were set to head back out when you had noticed a shadow emerge from the other side of the door.Â
"Oh, bollocks," You whisper, in a panicked tone, leaping behind a wooden table somewhere far enough for cover. You heard the footsteps of someone patter across the room, shifting through some equipment before they loudly whispered,
"Not where I left you..."Â
Ah, so it was a man. And judging by the sound of his voice, he was pretty young. You peered, carefully, from the table and noticed his ponytail, and his well-fitted yet a bit dirty clothes. He wasn't bad-looking, surprisingly. He tapped his foot, impatiently, before drawing out his own sword and turned to your hiding spot. Sighing in defeat, you stood up from the cramped place and stretched your arms with a lazy yawn, stalking over to him.
"You're a pirate," He spat, his sword dragging up and down the air as he gestured at you.
"I'm also a lady. Now, this can go two ways. Either you let me go and I find myself back to Jack Sparrow, or I kill you... and find myself back to Jack Sparrow." You reasoned, forcing a smile at him as you made your way to the exit. Within seconds, you felt the tip of the blade against your chin, turning your head to face him. He had a deathly glare on his face but his eyes spoke of something else. Seeing that there was no way out of this without blood being shed, you raised an eyebrow,
"Come now, love, must there be hostility? Fine then, have it your way." You spat, before dragging your sword and jabbing it towards his stomach. He deflected my attack, and swung his sword around towards your neck. Dodging backwards, you lunged forward and elbowed his gut before parrying the thrust of his sword. He fell back for a moment, catching his breath as he shook his head,
"That's cheating." He breathed out between pants.
"Well, that's life, and now help a lady out and let her escape." You snickered, prying his fingers off his sword.
"Ah, but that's where you're mistaken... you're a pirate." The young man smirked, and the front door swung open with Jack at the hands of the redcoats, a sheepish look attached to his stupid face. Glancing back to the now standing young man, you found yourself handcuffed and dragged off with Jack besides you.Â
William didn't fail to notice your menacing glare as you were taken away and he let out a proud smirk at the sight. And yet, something felt wrong. In all the years as a blacksmith's apprentice, nothing had excited him as much as this encounter had. He turned to the burning furnace, his thoughts fixated on seeing you.
For one more time, at least.

Pearl of the Sea Prologue
Found Family! PoTC Cast x Teen! Reader
Platonic! Will Turner, Elizabeth Swann, Jack Sparrow, Tia Dalma x Reader
Prologue: Found at Sea
Summary: Elizabeth Swann finds another strange child at sea, and they turn into an even weirder teenager.
Mouse Note: Welcome to Pearl of the Sea! Special thanks to TheBiLion for suggesting that I write this. I had this idea in my head for a while, but until someone actually said they wanted it, I never tried to write it. But here it is! I hope it lives up to their expectations and that everyone else who reads it enjoys! I know I had a lot of fun. Only announcements, the MC goes by they/them pronouns, but pirates call them "laddie" occasionally while "civilized" people try to make them a "lady." The point is to form contrast, but the MC themself doesn't care about the labels. So know that this was all intentional. Alright, get ready for some fun now! Lots of found family here! Please comment down below, it's motivating and amazing to interact with you all!
Several years agoâŚ
Elizabeth stood near the beach of Port Royal and gazed out over the waves. The sun had barely crested the waves and threw sparks of fiery light over the open sea. Elizabeth knew she was not supposed to wander out of her home so early and especially not towards the ocean due to her strange fascination with it, but she couldnât help it. While Elizabeth enjoyed the sea breeze, she held her medallion, the one sheâd taken from Will so long ago, and traced the carvings on it.
She furrowed her brow. Elizabeth stepped closer to the water and squinted, gazing out at the sea. There was something floating there.
Elizabethâs eyes widened, and she ran towards the waterâs edge. The sand tried to cause her to stumbleâheels could be troublesomeâbut Elizabeth forged forward. She waded into the water, waist deep, and grabbed the floating formâa child.
Dragging the unconscious kid to shore, Elizabethâs heart dropped. She wanted the child to be alive. It would be a tragedy for someone so young to lose their life and to remain nameless. Elizabeth didnât recognize the kid from Port Royal, small enough to know everyone, and she knew they werenât a resident there.
Elizabeth lay the kid down on the beach and held her hand over their mouth. She let out a breath of relief upon feeling a soft breath from their own breathing brush across her hand. The child was alive.
Carefully, Elizabeth shook them. If they were injured, she didnât want to hurt them further, but she needed them awake.
The kid groaned, and their eyes opened. They coughed and tried to sit up. Elizabeth guided them up.
âAre you alright?â she asked. Hopefully, they were a newcomer to Port Royal and had fallen into the bay in the morning. Then, Elizabeth could bring them back to their family.
âIâmââ The kidâs words were interrupted by another cough, and they shivered. The cool sea breeze mixed with their soaked clothes in a dangerous way; sickness would arrive easily.
âHere.â Elizabeth, action-oriented as ever, rose and helped the child stand. âI can bring you to a doctor. Are you hurt anywhere?â
âI donât-I donât think so,â said the kid, looking down at themself as if unsure.
âWhat happened to you?â said Elizabeth, walking the child with her towards the town of Port Royal.
âIââ The kid frowned and furrowed their brow, trying to find the information. âI donât know.â
âYou donât know?â said Elizabeth, furrowing her brow in concern. Strange. However, if they couldnât remember, she would not push them or distress them. âDo you know where your parents are?â
âI-I donât know,â said the kid again. This time, their eyes flicked around in distress. They clearly truly didnât know, and that fact was concerning them as much as it was Elizabeth. âI donât know!â
âItâs alright, itâs alright.â Elizabeth instantly squeezed their shoulders. âIâll help you, and weâll work out what happened.â
The kid looked at Elizabeth, and they searched her expression for signs of lying or signs of malicious intent. They found none and nodded. âAlright.â
Elizabeth smiled. âNow, is there anything you do know? Anything can help, but donât strain yourself.â
The child frowned as they concentrated. â(Y/N). My name is (Y/N).â They nodded decidedly and looked at Elizabeth.
She smiled. â(Y/N). Good. Iâm Elizabeth Swann.â
           (Y/N) smiled in return.
l
âElizabeth!â Governor Swann walked into the doctorâs office. âWhat is this I hear of you having snuck out of the house once again to go to the sea?â His eyes widened as he saw her wet skirts. Clearly, she had gone into the water.
Elizabeth (barely) kept herself from rolling her eyes. âClearly, judging as I am here and not home, it is true. And it is not as if I was in danger. I merely walked out of the house and went to the harbor. Besides, if I hadnât gone, I wouldnât have found them.â She stepped to the side to reveal the child sitting on the doctorâs examination table behind her.
           âWhoâWhat? Again, Elizabeth?â sighed Swann.
Elizabeth ignored the comment. âThis is (Y/N), Father. They were drifted into the harbor, so I pulled them to shore.â
           âHello,â said (Y/N).
Swann sighed because he knew he had to commend Elizabeth for saving someoneâs life and that would merely encourage her to be more adventurous. âHello. I am Governor Swann.â He looked at Elizabeth. âYou saved a child. Good job. But now you really must return to the house to change. Youâre soaked, and itâs highly improper and dangerous. You could catch a sickness. I will ensure the child returns to their family.â
âThey donât know who their family is,â said Elizabeth.
Swann blinked and looked at (Y/N). âTruly?â
(Y/N) shook their head and cleared their throat. âI canât remember anything other than my name. Iâm sorry.â
Swann nodded. He couldnât fault a child for being hurt. âVery well. We will find somewhere for you, then. There are plenty of places for you to do some work andââ
âFather, we should allow them to stay with us,â said Elizabeth. She wouldnât send (Y/N) to work as a servant for the rest of their life just because they were âno oneâ to Port Royal. âIt would be the gracious thing to do.â She raised her chin to her father. âBesides, I like them.â She smiled at (Y/N), who straightened and smiled back.
           âElizabethââ
âFather, please? I have always wanted a sibling,â said Elizabeth.
That did it. Swann really couldnât say no to Elizabeth. He sighed. âI will send for a tailor to make them some fresh clothes and tell the servants to make up a room.â
Elizabeth grinned and winked victoriously at (Y/N), who smiled shyly. They couldnât remember anything about who they were, but they felt more secure with Elizabeth. They didnât feel as lost.
Perhaps theyâd find a home at Port Royal if they couldnât ever remember theirs.
l
As (Y/N) grew at Port Royal, they never did quite find a home there. They could not connect to the society and culture they were forced to adhere to. Yes, they were given a warm bed and clean clothes, but they were pushed into dresses and a role they didnât likeâthat of the obedient, well-behaved child. (Y/N) felt constricted by the standards of high society; the people of Port Royal wished to tame them.
But (Y/N) was untamable. Very quickly, Governor Swann learned he had taken on a ward just as stubborn as free-spirited as his blood daughter. They, like Elizabeth, were told to avoid the sea for fear of losing them once more to it, but (Y/N) refused to listen. Frequently, they would have to be dragged back from the edge of the ocean.
However, whenever (Y/N) could escape the watchful gaze of Swann or anyone else of high society, they returned to the sea. Despite the apprehension they should feel at approaching the place that had stolen their memories of their family and past, (Y/N) adored it. Truthfully, they felt no fear.
No one else seemed to understand that. Every time they were caught standing in the water, happily closing their eyes and feeling the waves lap at them, they were admonished. People insisted they should fear the waves and the ocean, as it was an enemy that sought to destroy them and take them as it almost had in the past.
But it hadnât taken them. (Y/N) knew that. Whatever had brought them to Port Royal, they hadnât died. So why would they fault the waves? If anything, the current had saved them. If they had drifted endlessly across the open sea, they would have died. So, while the entirety of Port Royal pushed them into a role they didnât want and taught them to avoid the waters, (Y/N) privately loved itârespected it.
And not every part of Port Royal alienated them. No, they might not feel like they had a physical home there, but they felt like they had a home in their heart.
First, they had Elizabeth. (Y/N) had instantly been able to trust her, and their instincts hadnât been wrong. Elizabeth shared (Y/N)âs adventurous spirit and taught them all the ways to sneak around Swann and the other soldiers of Port Royal to explore the seaside. Elizabeth was a rebel with a free spirit like (Y/N), and they were free to be themselves together. They had formed a bond as close as blood siblings.
Additionally, (Y/N) had Will. He, too, had been found by Elizabeth at sea, so the pair had bonded over that. Elizabeth joked that they were her treasures because she had found them, and (Y/N) always smiled at the comparison (Will smiled, too, but he also blushed due to his obvious love for Elizabeth).
(Y/N) and Will had become friends outside of their shared past, too. (Y/N) had restless energy, coming and going like a tempest making waves swell with power, so they had to find a way to get it out, and that either involved escaping from the house and causing Swann to worry or going to Will. They had found him practicing fencing one day, and (Y/N) had instantly wanted to learn.
Will had been hesitant at first and shared his concerns at (Y/N) wanting to be around dangerous weaponry with Elizabeth (he told her first because he didnât want (Y/N) to get in trouble from Swann), but Elizabeth had, of course, encouraged (Y/N) learning to swordfight instead of discouraging it. In fact, she, too, came to some of the training days and learned with Will.
It didnât take long for those moments to create an unbreakable bond between Will, Elizabeth, and (Y/N). Elizabeth and Will were clearly falling in loveâ(Y/N) wasnât an idiotâand both became older siblings to (Y/N). Will had bonded with (Y/N) over their strength of will, and despite his worry about their too-adventurous spirit, he was fond of their desire for a free life for themself and others.
So, the years passed with (Y/N) growing stronger in will despite societyâs desire to tame them and keep them trapped in a mold they had created. (Y/N) would break it at every turn, though, and even when people believed they had successfully tied (Y/N) down to a role, (Y/N)âs spirit remained as free and untamable as the sea.

How they would comfort you
Jack Sparrow:
⢠Jack Sparrow has a habit of trying to fix problems on his own, and when he wanted to fix whatever had you bothered, you ask him not to, that the best thing he can do for you is just to remain by your side, so he obliges
⢠Jack will try to get an image of how youâre feeling, but itâs a challenge when it comes to reading body language rather than hear it through words
⢠Jack isnât very good at reading others, even you. You always have to tell him, which you honestly didnât mind doing.
⢠Jack never was good at offering good advice once youâve finished telling him. By doing this, Jack seems to be a good listener.
⢠He offers physical affection, his actions are stronger than words when it comes to you and sometimes that was better, all you need to see that everything is okay and will work out in the end
⢠Physical affection would include running his fingers lightly through your hair, and that often did the trick in making you feel so relaxed that you begin to doze off
⢠The next step in physical affection would be taking you into his sleeping quarters and the both of you would be cuddling as he continues to comfort you
⢠Pulls you close to him
⢠Promising you in a hushed tone that he would always be there for you
⢠Once you begin to feel better, you begin to speak
⢠âCan we stay like this for a little while? Itâs nice.â
⢠Jack would release a small laugh as he agrees to your request
⢠He loves you to pieces and hated it to see that something has bothered you so much
⢠Jack had a way of making it all seem not so bad
Hector Barbossa:
⢠To see you so upset, the very first thing that Barbossa would often think you were upset because of something he has done
⢠It took a lot for him to finally ask you if it was anything he did and would try to comfort you with apologies before giving you the chance to explain what was going on
⢠Once you confirmed it had nothing to do with anything he had done, it was a huge relief for him as he tries to help you through whatever was troubling
⢠Unlike Jack Sparrow, he uses words as a tool for comforting you, heâll say the sweetest things to you, in which you know he is very sincere and is true to them, no matter how long in time
⢠âIâm glad you came into my life.â he would say, causing you to blush
⢠Upon seeing that, he waited until you were ready to tell him what was going on that made you upset
⢠When you did tell him, he pulls you in his embrace and pulls you close while you continue on telling him
⢠âIâm here for you.â is how it all starts, and you think itâs the best place to start.
⢠sometimes he will try and tell you stories from his past adventures
⢠Your favorite ones to hear about are the ones about Jack Sparrow
⢠Whenever you feel this way, Barbossa would know how to take care of you and help you to feel better
⢠He often doesnât say it, but in this case, he said it again, almost as if he was taking back in time where the two of you confessed feelings for each other
⢠âI love you, so much.â he would say, followed by your own feelings for him.
⢠âI love you, too.â
Davy Jones:
⢠It doesnât take long for Davy to pick up on the fact that something was wrong, or that something seemed to have upset you and he was determined to get to the bottom of it and find out
⢠One of the signs he picked up on was the fact that your ability to remember things had seemed to gone out the window
⢠Next, if you have messed up just the slightest, no matter how small, you seemed to get easily irritated and even close to very emotional, which is very unlike you
⢠The last part of it was you have suddenly fallen ill, even though the day before you were perfectly healthy
⢠Of course, Davy didnât want to find out just by asking so at first, he asks some of the most trusted crew mates to look after you and report back to him if they notice anything
⢠When that didnât work, he had no choice but to come right out and ask you, and he worried that it would upset you
⢠It did a little in the beginning, but you donât spill everything out at once. So every night as youâre recovering, he comes to visit and you just take baby steps in telling him everything. During that time spent together, youâve become closer as he gets to know you better
⢠After learning whatâs going on, Davyâs soft spot for you only grew, as he now isnât afraid to spare you the treatment in front of everyone from now on
⢠Comfort shows more from his actions than words, but heâs very good at it
⢠A couple of times, youâve noticed Davy keeping an eye on you if youâre not close by, he just wants to make sure youâre not in any kind of danger, keeping you safe from harm
⢠The crew now respects you a little more than they have before
Will Turner:
⢠If youâre upset about something, itâs easy for him to tell, itâs nearly impossible to hide anything from Will
⢠He knows just by simply holding your hand brings you calm and comfort, so youâre often seen around holding his hand
⢠If you have to part ways for even just a few seconds or minutes, heâs always reluctant to leave your side, even with knowing youâd still be there when he returns to you, almost like he never left for a brief moment
⢠âDonât go where I canât follow!â heâd say, but that would be when you go off on your own a little bit
⢠Hearing Will say that never failed to bring a smile to your face. Upon your return, Will sometimes is overly dramatic with greetings. Usually he greets you with a hug that tells you he thought heâd never see you again.
⢠You donât complain, you return the hug before going off with him
⢠Will was very protective of you, especially during those times you would get upset and often, he would think it was because of something he had done
⢠âDonât lie for me, (Y/n).â heâd say.
⢠You were always truthful with him
⢠You both work together on looking for ways to get rid of whatever it was that was making you so upset
James Norrington:
⢠No matter how hard you may try, it was just too easy for James to pick up on the scent that you were very bothered by something
⢠Once it was confirmed, he would ask you what it was, nearly demanding answers from you
⢠However, seeing as upset as you were once he started asking, he allowed for you to take all the time in the world that was required of your need to compose yourself just enough to at least.m tell him what was going on
⢠He refused to leave your side once he knows and tries his best to comfort you in ways he believed would bring you comfort
⢠And it worked
⢠Youâre hardly leaving his side and heâs hardly ever letting you go out of his sight
⢠Unlike some, James Norrington was very understanding and sincerely cared
⢠From than on, he wasnât afraid to put you first before anything else
⢠Even though it may have gotten him in trouble a few times, he continued and didnât care about the trouble it got him in
⢠You would ask for him to worry about you later, but he wasnât having it
⢠âNot a chance in the world.â heâd say.
⢠Which only made you fall in love with him even more
⢠It was those awful nightmares that was bothering you, they seemed to never have any plans on ever going away
⢠If anything, they got worse each time you had one
⢠One night, you had a real bad one, one that made you scream and thrash around in your sleep
⢠Of course, that woke James up and he comes to your aid as he begins comforting you
⢠âI heard you screaming again, is it the nightmares?â
⢠You nod as you feel like you couldnât breathe and thatâs when James started his mission to comfort you back to sleep
⢠âHey, just look at me. Breathe.â
⢠You did and soon, you started feeling better and laid back down to go back to sleep.
⢠Just as you were about to enter sleep, you were awakened a short minute at the feel of James Norringtonâs hand in yours
⢠âHold my hand. Youâre going to be fine.â
⢠âI could use a hug.â you say sleepily.
⢠The last thing you remember before falling asleep was seeing the smile form on his lips, followed by the feel of him holding you
⢠Finally, a peaceful sleep takes over

đđ đđ đđđđ đđ Jack & his chaotic s/o
⤡ gender neutral, ambiguous race, and any size reader. Requests are open, thank you for reading!
á´šáľË˘áľáľĘłËĄáś¤Ë˘áľ | á´šáľË˘áľáľĘłËĄáś¤Ë˘áľ á´ľá´ľ
'Relentless...' the word hadn't left you alone since you'd woken up this morning. Like most mornings, you found yourself warm in Jack's arms, the smell of rum on his lips as he kissed you awake.
With the shared blanket tucked into your side, Jack hummed one of the hearty tunes from last night into your neck. Murmuring, you allowed yourself to bask there for a few moments until you were fully awake.
The swaying of the Black Pearl was something you loved. Even in rough seas, you're the first one soundly asleep. And yet, unease wrangled itself in your stomach. Coiling and uncoiling it went, alerting you.
Seconds passed before you wiggled your body away from Jack, and he let you get up with a sigh.
You were about to say something when a thunderous noise broke out on deck.
"Always so bloody loud," he grumbled, voice gruff from sleep.
The air was crisp from the cold. A heavy fog set around the Pearl. Unnecesarily heavy it was, but you heeded it no mind. Too occupied in your own thoughts to comprehend the lurking dangers.
"Maybe the right one to use is ... unrelenting..." You thought out loud.
Until you heard a pained cry and the reason for your wariness became so utterly clear.
Dark clouds swirled above you, swords clashed and you pulled your sword from its scabbard.
"How the 'ell did they find us, aye?" You heard from your right, Jack said as he adjusted his hat.
With that unanswered question hanging in the air, your body took over with the knowledge of engagement. Left, right, block, parry. On and on.
Until you paused mid fight with the soldier.
Your brows furrowing. Arms coming to cross over your chest as you pondered. This happened from time to time. You forgetting where exactly you were to get lost within your mind. But you were always safe. It was as if luck was on your side...
And Luck had just diverted a shiny sharp dagger from embedding itself in you.
With a loud clash, you felt a familiar presence. One blade put you in danger, but another, the dagger of luck, saved you from a death blow.
"What is it, love?" Jack said slightly out of breath. Unbothered by the fact that he saved your life by an inch.
"Well... is it relentless?"
"What is-", Jack was stopped mid-sentence and kicked the running soldier. "Bloody hell," he sneered.
"Fuckin' hurt that did."
Mind lost to your whirling brain, you couldn't help your thoughts.
"Or is the proper word unrelenting? You know-" your attention turned to Jack. Now fully facing him, Jack had a bloody nose and a split right across his eyebrow.
He cut you off, already knowing Gibbs' had ensured the crew's victory.
Quite literally grabbing you and sweeping you off your feet he mumbled, "well, whatever the correct word is; that's what my love is for you."
"Oh Jack, stop ..." You blushed and moved to give him a kiss on the cheek.
