Jack Ginnivan, Collingwood, illicit drugs ban, Graham Wright comments
Jack Ginnivan‘s run-in with the AFL‘s illicit drugs policy has been labelled an “isolated incident” by Collingwood‘s head of football Graham Wright. Ginnivan admitted to taking an illicit drug after the club’s training camp in Lorne last month – resulting in an array of punishments from Collingwood and the AFL. Ginnivan has been suspended for rounds one and two of the 2023 season and slapped…

AFL Top 100: Collingwood 2025
Collingwood had a disappointing 2024 season after winning the premiership in 2023. Missing two players from last year (Nathan Murphy and Jack Ginnivan) the Magpies had a constant run of medium-term injuries which meant that an average of an additional 2.5 players from the Premiership team were missing every game. In spite of this, Collingwood – after 2 draws during the season – missed the finals…

Bombers first win of 2024.
ESSENDON has claimed bragging rights in one of footy's fiercest rivalries for the second season running, defeating Hawthorn by 24 points at the MCG.
Jake Stringer's presence as a stay-at-home forward bore four important goals as the Bombers kicked away in the final quarter to win 17.5 (107) to the Hawks' 11.17 (83) in the Saturday afternoon sun.
BOMBERS v HAWKS Full match coverage and stats
In Melbourne's early autumn heat, Hawthorn took the game on and challenged Essendon to bring repeat efforts. The Bombers rose to the challenge after an arm wrestle through the middle quarters where the lead changed eight times.
Every time the Hawks landed a blow, the Bombers would almost immediately return fire, keeping the 73,805-strong crowd on edge.
Archie Perkins comes up big for Essendon with a pair of handy goals in the third term
Matt Guelfi was tasked with a defensive forward role on Hawthorn captain James Sicily in the first half, doing plenty to effectively get under the latter's skin. The Bombers' first goal came by way of a Guelfi free kick against Sicily, quickly followed up by another shot for McGrath against the Hawks' leader amidst a melee. Minutes later a poor Sicily kick coming out of defence set up Peter Wright's first for the day, and Essendon's second.
It wasn't just Sicily, however, succumbing to the tension of the matchup. It was a game littered with off-the-ball free kicks for lingering contact.
Essendon was focused on aggressive short kicks coming out of the back half. While risky at times, when it worked the home side was able to find dangerous speed through the corridor that proved difficult for the visitors to defend
Josh Weddle shows his aerial ability with this stunning mark in the final quarter
The Hawks were wasteful when they had the run of the play, kicking just 11 goals from 28 scoring shots. With a combination of Moore, Jack Ginnivan, and Nick Watson roaming the attacking 50, the side's forward pressure was important and allowed it to maintain territory control for large portions of the game.
After being trialled in attack during preseason, and even initially named as a forward on Thursday evening, Blake Hardwick played a crucial role on 2023 Essendon leading goalkicker Kyle Langford.
The Bomber had just three disposals midway through the third quarter, needing to roam high up the field to even get near it. It wasn't until the 26-minute mark of the third quarter that Langford was able to take a mark in attack and goal, but small moments were all the Don needed in the second half, kicking another goal in the final quarter to swing momentum back his side's way.
A hamstring concern for Zach Reid was the only sour note for Essendon's day, with the unlucky key defender struggling to get a clean run at the top level since joining the club in four years.

Premier Pies set to charge into season 2024
Fresh off the 2023 Premiership victory, the Premier Pies are set to charge into the 2024 season, as they seek to accomplish back-to-back premierships.
With the addition of Lachie Schultz from Fremantle, the 25-year-old will slot right into the Premiers’ forward line, bolstering their goal power.

Having let go of veteran vice-captain Taylor Adams and young forward Jack Ginnivan, and picking up a few handy picks in the 2023 draft, the 2024 Collingwood team will look a little different from last year’s premiership side.
The 2024 preseason camp was a chance for the new team to bond through a series of tasks and activities, while sightseeing the seaside town of Lorne.
Photo: Reef McInnes training during the 2024 pre season camp in Lorne.
When speaking on the camp, Captain Darcy Moore touched on the opportunity to grow together as a team.
“The preseason camps are always a great chance to reset and refresh our mindsets, both individually and as a team,” Moore said.
“We have our individual goals, of course, but it’s also an opportunity to set objectives as a team and lay the groundwork for another fantastic year.”
“We accomplished our ultimate goal last year, so now we’re just really looking to build upon that and hopefully go all the way again this season.”
With Season 2024 just beyond the horizon, this Pies outfit are aiming for no less than back-to-back premiership glory.

Jack Ginnivan, Collingwood, ban from AFL for illicit substance use
Collingwood young gun Jack Ginnivan has been handed a two-game suspension from the AFL after vision emerged of the forward with an illicit substance during the off-season. In a statement released Saturday evening, the AFL said Ginnivan “admitted” to drug use during a probe by the league’s Integrity Unit. As punishment, Ginnivan has been suspended for rounds one and two of the 2023 season and…

AFL Top 100: Magpie Sweet Spot!
Collingwood, as the reigning premiers appear to be in a “sweet spot” at the moment. Whilst they – like every other premiership winning side before them- will not be able to put the identical team on the park in the opening round of the following season, they could be only one player short of the mark and have recruited a suitable replacement. Jack Ginnivan who had played 42 games for the Magpies…

Jack Ginnivan Smut
AN: I know this isn't factually correct whatsoever, but I haven't seen much on Jack. This is my first time posting something like this on this account, so enjoy :)
Warnings: Heavy smut, oral f/ receiving, slowburn
The had been excruciatingly close from the blow of the whistle. As Collingwood scored a goal, their opponent would be quick to even the points. It was nearing the finish of the first half, when your childhood bestfriend, Jack Ginnivan had gotten the ball during his first professional game. Sitting next to his family as you’d done since he got into the As in high school, you all stood up as his hands touched the ball. You loved watching Jack play, how much he loved the game. He was intense to watch, like seeing passion collide with composure.
You uttered to yourself,
“Come on Jack, come on”
His tanned arms were slick with exhaustion and his iconic bleached hair made him easy to follow. Standing in the goal square he searched for you in the stands, finding his best friend in the spot where you always sit. You knew what he would do, what he always does before he kicks an important goal. His face illuminated as you found your eyes, nodding and winking like he always does you do the same back. The grins on your faces were so wide, how Jack could always find you in a big crowd made you feel so special.
So as he stood in the goal box, and missed a crucial goal you knew what Jack would’ve been feeling, you knew the anger and disappointment that weighed heavy in his. chest. His coach yelling at him, Jack was taken off and marched with his heaving chest and swelling eyes into the change room.
Not even thinking, your insticts had told you to go after him, so you ran down to his changerooms. You weaved through conrete hallways, following the sound of his frustrated boots hitting the cold floors. Although you had attended nearly each game of his AFL career You had never seen your childhood friend this mad, this filled with fury before. You heard him throw his towel onto the floor and turn on the tap. Turning the corner, you leant against the doorway to watch him drown his face in splashes of cold water over the sink. Under his caramel skin, his arm muscles twitched while he held himself at the basin, leaning into the mirror as he assessed his reflection. You knew his internal monologue. How he would criticise himself, each step he took on the field, how he should’ve been in that position earlier. Water dripped from his bleached hair and shed from his flaring nose. You hated to see him without his wide smile that suited him so well. Your gaze followed the portrait of his face, tracing the outline of his silhouette, his tanned and flexing body shortened your breath as Jack’s white teeth bit into his pink lips in frustration. Even though he was in such critical torment, you caught yourself, awestruck before him, admiring this body you grew up parallel to.
Jack grabbed the bottom of his jersey to wipe his wet forehead, revealing his toned and lean stomach, one you had seen so many times before. yet this time, some animalistic and uncontrollable urge had caused a quick gasp to escape from your mouth. His piercing eyes flickered up to the mirror, meeting your figure in the glass reflection.
“How long have you been watching me for then, aye?”
Although his voice had a clearly aggressive tone you saw him unintentionally slip a quick smirk after seeing you.
“ I-I just thought I’d be a good friend and check up on you,”
You stepped through the doorway and entered the empty changeroom, his eyes still followed your body approached him in the mirror.
“Well, I don’t need any counselling. advice and words can’t help any of this shit alright?”
Pain swelled in his throat as his voice shook. You could see his eyebrows shake as he tried to hold it together for you, still with his back turned and body faced to the mirror.
“We don’t have to talk if you don’t want to”
Your eyes met his in the reflection. You tried to give a weak smile to comfort him, and he tilted his head in response. Jack’s eyes just floated around the features of your delicate face, bouncing from your doe eyes to each freckle laid on your cheeks from your days spent together at the beach as kids.
Breaking eye contact, Jack almost whispers, “I just don’t know if, if I can-“
His voice chokes up, as he sounds as he is about to cry.
Struck by an instinctive reflex to comfort him you grabbed his hand tightly. His gaze stared down at your hand, to follow the length of your arm and meet your beautifully worried eyes.
“You know I’m here. I always have been and I’m not planning on leaving anytime soon. You don’t have to speak for me to be able to tell that something is wrong Jack. I know you, you can lean on me”
Jack simply nodded his head like a little boy. And you placed one hand on his shoulder and the other holding his head as you embraced him. He leant into your hand, and it felt like he was moulded for you to hold. Your fingers combed and played with his blonde hair as you hugged him.
You whispered gently in his ear “Are you gonna go back out or-“
“No I’m not fucking going back out! Are you fucking serious? You don’t understand! this, this is my life and I’ve already ruined it. I’m barely even started and I’ve ruined it!”
He pulls away from you and walks to the centre of the room where the showers are stood.
Immediately craving his touch again you grab his forearm, and plead to him..
“Jack. Jack, please,”
Idle and leant against the showers, he nods his head at you
“Please what?”
His anger makes it look as though he spits as he responds. You can’t say what you’re asking of Jack. You don’t even know it yourself, the number of things you would plead him to do, after all these years of built up tension, you have too long a list to even respond to him.
You stand in front of him helpless, as he paces until he yells at himself again.
“Fuck! Fuck I’ve ruined it!”
Jack slams his fist against the shower stall, accidentally turning on the faulty showerhead spills onto you, drenching your small frame.
“Oh shit shit”
His hands fumble to turn off the tap. Jack stands across from you, as the water dripping from your clothes fills the tense silence. A smile creeps onto his face as you both burst out into laughter. Your laughs have always sounded as if they are only to be heard with eachother, and you recognise the boy you grew up with again.
“Hold on let me get a towel, you need to get out of those drenched clothes”
He walks over to his kitbag as he fetches a towel, meanwhile you take off the layers of winter clothing that the Melbourne winter had put on you. In his hurried pace, Jack turns around to be halted at the sight of your soaked figure, your body shining with water, as your wet panties and bra stick to your skin. His eyes move from your perfectly contoured boobs, to your waist and creamy thighs. His head is flooded with dangerous thoughts of you, as his blood rushed down and his member pushed against his tight shorts with your image.
“Uh, towel… Jack”
You reach your arm forward, wanting him to walk nearer to you, as you stood frozen, unsure if you should act on the heat that was preventing your body from shivering in the freezing cold.
“Yeah, right, towel”
You watch a lump in his throat grow and fall as pushes down a deep gulp. Jack walks up to you, wrapping his towel around your back and rubbing both of your arms.
“Sorry about that, I should learn to control my frustration. If not for me then for you.”
You smile at his tender innocence, “No, Jack, its okay-“
He interrupts, “No it isn’t. Here you are, shivering and freezing because of me, when you were just trying to be a good friend like you always are, and calm me down,”
Shaking his head he pulls off his jersey. Revealing his carved and bronzed stomach your breath quickens.
“Jack, jack what are you doing?”
He remains silent as he pulls off his shorts, revealing his toned thighs that caused heat to grow between your own. Your heart was pounding as your mouth grew dry. You knew that Jack was just trying to make you feel better but you couldn’t take your eyes off his bulge as it made a tent in his boxers. Noticing your concentrated eyeline, he coughed to bring you back onto Earth. Your eyes quickly bounced up to meet his as your face flushed red and you hoped that he didn’t notice your focus. Jack’s smile spread across his face, as you realised he caught you looking at him, a tinge of rpink washed his cheeks. Raising his hands out wide he proclaimed
“There, now we’re even,”
“Jack you’re not just gonna stand there freezing”
“No, no I’m not.” Holding his eye contact with you he took two step backwards and turned on the showerhead. Closing his eyes, water cascaded over his beautiful face, falling into his open mouth and spilling out, as he raised and tilted his head to cover his entire face. Your eyes followed the channels of water carved in his muscle that streamed between his ab lines and wet the fabric of his boxers, making them cling to the thick muscle of his thighs.
You almost let out a moan. You felt like you could just cum, then and there. The running water highlighted the muscle of his body by carving through toned crevaces, his open mouth drinking and spitting the water, he looked like an ancient fountain. Jack lowered his chin to see that you had taken off his towel. Trying not to run into his arms, you stepped towards him, noticing your eyebrows beg as you felt like crying in front of him. His lips stretched into a thin smile as you approached him. Taking his head into both of your hands you pressed your entire body against his, you wanted to be as close as possible to him. His bulge pressed against your lower stomach as his thigh was inbetween your two legs.
You tried to utter “Jack-“
“Shhh” He pressed a finger against his own lips.
Jack’s face hovered in front of you as he stared at your lips, letting your breathes mingle until his soft pink mouth met yours as he kissed you sweet and tender. Slowly at first, you felt his tongue press against yours as his lust quickened the pace. A moan slipped from your lips as it hummed into Jack’s mouth. Pulling back, Jack stared at your lips as he held a wide smile,
“That eager are we?”
Overcome by sensation you couldn’t even think to speak in that moment. But nodded vigorously as you hummed “mmhmmm”
“Shit” Jack muttered as he leant into the kiss again. You placed your hands on his chest, as your fingers trailed down his stomach. You traced his V-line as he groaned into your mouth. Your hands lingered before you started palming him through his boxers, pumping his dick through the fabric. You started to pull at his waistband as he placed a hand on yours. He made eye contact with you again as he spoke,
“Uh-uh, ladies first,”
Jack placed his hands on the back of your thighs as he lifted you up, and set you down on the bench in the change rooms. Kneeling on the floor beneath you, he sat between your legs remaining eye contact as pushed your knees apart. Holding your shared gaze, he slowly kissed your legs from your knees to the lining of your panties. He left an agonisingly long lick next to your underwear before, causing you to let out a deep groan. His wet lips kissed your clit through the fabric of your panties. He licked a stripe, covering the full length of your core, and then rubbed your clit with three fingers ontop of the fabric. Taking one finger he pulled the cotton of your panties aside, taken aback by the glistening wetness of you, he almost let out a laugh in disbelief. Jack smiled as he looked up at you,
“Is this from the shower, or from me?”
“It’s all for you Jack. All of me, is for you,”
That comment sent Jack crazy. He pulled down your panties and lay his tongue flat on your sex. He held it there, letting the saliva from his mouth drip between your folds. His nose pressed against your clit as he kissed your hole, spitting his saliva into it. Jack licked your whole length again, using his tongue as a needle to play with your clit. He removed his mouth to spit onto his fingers, then brought his thumb to your mouth as you sucked it hard, leaving your spit on it, he smiled.
“Jack…please”
“Please what?”
“I need you inside of me”
Quickly rubbing circles on your core, the blonde boy glances up at your panting face before going in again. Your moans become so urgent that you bite your lips. Jack plunged his tongue into you. He illicited euphoria in you as you screamed and bucked your hips, only pushing him deeper within your walls. His thumb, covered in your spit, rubs numbing circles against your clit, while his tongue moves inside you.
“Jack, baby, I think,”
He moved inside of you bouncing against your walls and humming agsint your folds as his thumb still circled your clit.
“I think-“
Removing his tongue he stares up at you while rubbing you into ecstacy.
“Do it for me, baby, cum on my face”
You let yourself go as you cum on Jack’s grinning face. The moan that you cry bounces from the thick concrete walls as he watches you unfold. Your body heaves and pants as he places both of his hands onto your thighs while he stands. He places a gentle kiss on your forehead as his thumbs rub your temples gently. He bends back down and stares you straight into the eyes.
“Well… we even now?”

This is what I be talking about there’s states that banned the costumes. The fact that this had to happen is a disgusting disgrace
AFL star Jack Ginnivan is slammed by fans by dressing as serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer for Halloween
Collingwood's Jack Ginnivan has landed himself in hot water again, this time for glorifying a serial killer on .
The 19-year-old star posted images to social media of himself dressed as Jeffrey Dahmer, complete with blood-spattered shirt and his iconic glasses.
Dahmer was an infamous American serial killer known as the Milwaukee Cannibal or the Milwaukee Monster who brutally killed 17 people, often carrying out acts of necrophilia and cannibalism on his victims.
He was recently portrayed by actor Evan Peters in the Netflix series Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, which attracted strong criticism from the families of victims, including the mother of aspiring model Tony Hughes.
Ginnivan was widely panned for his costume choice on social media with many asking him to consider the victims' loved ones.
'I'm sure the families of the victims would like the reminder... Another eye rolling moment and a shaking of the head … tasteless is one word I could use,' one person posted.
'You mean the Jeffrey Dahmer that senselessly and cruelly stole the lives of 17 young men? That Jeffrey Dahmer? How would you all be reacting if he'd dressed up as Martin Bryant? Gross,' posted another.
'These were real people. Human beings. With families and people who loved them,' one person posted along with an image of the victims, while tagging the Collingwood football club.
'What an absolute disgrace. AFL should fine and/or suspend him immediately,' posted another.
However many defended Ginnivan, saying objections were 'woke' and people calling Ginnivan out for dressing as a serial killer were 'snowflakes'.
'Ffs….how many others dress up for halloween…. Why pick on Jack?' one person tweeted.
'Anyone who is upset about this is a dork. It’s Halloween. People have been dressing as serial killers for decades. Don’t be such a loser,' tweeted another.
'Here come the woke haters,' posted yet another.
Earlier this year Ginnivan and Magpies teammate Isaac Quaynor were forced to apologise for taking part in an online trend of rating members of the opposite sex, with perceived negative traits attached.
Sign up for all the latest sports news…
It comes as Jeffrey Dahmer Halloween costume sales were banned for sale on eBay in the lead up to October 31.
An eBay spokesperson told CBS MoneyWatch that selling Dahmer paraphernalia violates eBay's 'violence and violent criminals policy.'
Specifically, the policy prohibits listings that 'promote or glorify violence or violent acts, or are associated with individuals who are notorious for committing violent acts,' and is intended to promote safety while respecting victims of violent crimes.
Many US bars also outlawed Dahmer costumes - especially in LGBTQ+ bars in the serial killer's home town of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
'We understand there's a generation out there that did not live this situation. They may not understand the severity of how it affected the community,' D.I.X. Milwaukee manager Eric Hamilton said.
'We don't want to put patrons in the situation where they would have to see or relive something that they had to truly experience.'

Season previews: Hawthorn (16th)
Last season: 16th (7 wins, 16 losses, 80.2%) Notable ins: Jack Ginnivan (Collingwood), Mabior Chol (Gold Coast), Nick Watson (no. 5 draft pick) Notable outs: Tyler Brockman (West Coast), Jacob Koschitzke (Richmond), Brandon Ryan (Brisbane)
The placement of Hawthorn at 16th in a 2024 ladder prediction comes with an understanding that it is unlikely to happen (actually, very few of these are likely to happen given the success of most attempts at using the crystal ball). It is not unheard of but very rare for the same three teams to occupy the bottom three spots in consecutive years, particularly in a modern 18-team competition replete with “equalisation” measures. It last happened when GWS, Melbourne and St Kilda managed the feat in 2013 and 2014. Gold Coast, Brisbane and Carlton were there in 2015, didn’t collectively back it up the following year but were all there again in 2017 (somehow this feels even crueller). So there is considerable precedent for at least one of West Coast, North Melbourne and Hawthorn to make a rise up the ladder and it feels harshest on the Hawks to not tip them to do it.
That being said, has there ever been such positivity around a club that finished third-last on the ladder ahead only of two historically bad teams? Let’s not forget that this was actually a downward slide from their finish in the previous season (13th with eight wins) and not typically a sign of a side on the rise. It deserves to be said that Hawthorn did jettison some established players at the end of 2022 seen to be standing in the way of blooding youngsters. And there is logic in the idea that Tom Mitchell, Jaeger O’Meara, Liam Shiels and Jack Gunston (the latter now bizarrely back at the Hawks again) would have been good enough to add some wins in 2023 but detrimental to their medium- and long-term ambitions.
Their depth in the here and now though is tested by an extensive injury list that sees the likes of Will Day, Dylan Moore, James Blanck, Changkuoth Jiath and Denver Grainger-Barras all expected to miss time at the start of the season. In fact, the only good health-related news the Hawks have enjoyed in the off-season is that coach Sam Mitchell survived Christmas in New York-Presbyterian Hospital. The trade period addition of Ginnivan will add some needed swagger to the forward line, provided his off-field proclivities are in check. Less exciting is Chol who is on to his third club and now unwanted by Damien Hardwick for a second time, the latest after taking on a team that played Levi Casboult 20 times last year.
Impressive wins last season against Brisbane, Collingwood and the Bulldogs were tempered by seven 50-plus point drubbings suggesting there is a significant gap between Hawthorn’s best and worst. The Hawks have not significantly upgraded their list and will be hoping to improve on the back of natural progression from gifted youngsters, which is not always as straightforward as it seems.
They have a tough opening five rounds, with one hand tied behind their back due to injury, against three sides expected to play finals (Melbourne, Geelong and Collingwood) and two teams aiming to improve on their own disappointing 2023 campaigns (Essendon and Gold Coast away). We will learn fairly quickly whether the optimism around Hawthorn is deserved or if the bottom of the ladder will continue to look awfully familiar.
The state of football in Western Australia could be in disarray, next up is Fremantle...

AFL Finals 2022: New angle reveals Jack Ginnivan using ‘chicken wing’ tackle on Cats star Patrick Dangerfield
Jack Ginnivan is in the spotlight again after the Herald Sun released a fresh angle of his tackle on Patrick Dangerfield in the opening minutes of the qualifying final between Collingwood and Geelong. The ball is in congestion inside Collingwood’s forward pocket when it falls into Dangerfield’s lap as he goes to ground. Ginnivan piles into the star Cat, pinning him to the ground before grabbing…
