I can’t wait until Jack fully realizes how much Joke sacrifices for everyone, especially for him. Not because I want Jack to feel guilty, but because then Jack will be the one to help Joke realize that, Joke is worth it. He will knock it into Joke’s head that self-sacrificing will hurt his loved ones. That Joke has a family in Jack, in Ama, in Hoy, Tattoo, and their little village.

That Joke’s life isn’t meaningless enough that he would dare step in front of a gun again, while Jack’s life flashed in front of his eyes at that gesture. That Joke’s continued rejection from his father is not something he has to face alone. That he belongs.

That if Joke were to cease to exist, life doesn’t just go on. That time will stop, that people will mourn, that Jack will be devastated. That if Joke didn’t live, he left a mark so meaningful in each person he has ever helped & loved.

So no, Joke shouldn’t die. Joke shouldn’t give up so easily on his own life. And Jack will make sure to drill that into his head. That he is loved.

That Jack loves Joke.

what i love the most about this show is that we don't get the stupid miscommunication trope

like okay we have the secrets and things both jack and joke are doing that are not said out loud but you can understand it if you get their characters

main example here being grandma who out right scolded jack for thinking that boss was the one who sped up her surgery, it could've been another silly miscommunication thing but they said no, no need for that, jack needs to appreciate joker more

sure there is still A LOT for them to go through but the miscommunication we have now resonates with their characters aka the wannabe hero and a fool in love, both of them think that they can solve the problems on their own and not bring the other person into it but it is still justified more or less

I really don't think Jack is going to get mad at Joke for what he's done. I mean, yes he's going to get mad bc he literally risked his life for him (again), but I don't think he's going to be so angry that he's going to break up with him or anything. He knows Joke at this point. He will understand why Joke did it. And he will understand just how much Joke has done for him this whole time. He'll be mad out of worry bc he doesn't want him to do something like that ever again, but he will also be grateful bc Joke did it for him, for them. Maybe he'll yell at him bc he should have told him, bc he promised, bc he shouldn't have put himself in danger for him, he shouldn't have taken this on his shoulders! Then he'll realize that's exactly what he himself did, and that they're both a pair of self sacrificing idiots.

I don't think Jack will make this thing come in between them. They're together now, for real. And while until now they've dealt with things separately, individually trying to fix things and help the other without the other knowing, now though, now they will deal with this together.

I feel Jack will get mad at Joke again for robbing Rose's house...

Joke was mad because Jack tried to solve everything on his own, but going to talk to Boss and robbing Rose... Isn't that Joke trying to solve on his own too?!

Maybe Jack will be involved on the robbery too or Joke will at least let him know, I don't know, and since there's still 4 episodes to release, too much to happen.

I just hope I'm wrong and no one gets mad 😭😭

You know what works with Jack & Joke? One has been told all his life that he was loved, while the other has been told he was nothing but a disappointment.

So when it comes to their upcoming relationship, we’ll definitely see Jack initiating a lot of things. It’s why we see him grab Joke into their forehead touch, it’s how we see him hugging Joke into him, it’s how we see Jack wrapping Joke into a warm hug. It’s how we don’t think nothing out of character when he tells Joke you’re family.

Jack has never hesitated to tell people how he cares for them, it’s how people often come to him for help with no hesitation & care for him. It’s how we see his dynamic with Ama has always fascinated Joke when he comes into the picture.

Joke on another hand, has never really felt accepted. Because expectations has been thrown on his shoulders since the beginning. Expectations that come with consequences, that often when he fail to meet them, he also fails to receive love from his so called family.

So Joke never expected to be this close to a family like Jack & Ama. Heck, even friends like Hoy, Tattoo & even Aran.

Joke never thought that just existing, he is important. That he doesn’t have to really do these grand gestures, to prove himself that he is worthy of love.

That’s also why Joke was very hurt when he overheard Jack that’s he’s practically a homeless boy clinging on to Ama. Because, he thought he was finally in a place he can call home. That Jack of all people, would see him as someone worthy. Add on to the fact that Jack told him they were nothing. He had no more reason to believe he was something, because if Jack, who always was free to say what he thought, who called him homeless, confirmed to him that he was indeed a nobody. Then who was Joke to argue?

So Joke lashes out, hurts Jack as much as he was hurt. Although, as much as he tries, he also can’t fully immerse himself in it, absolutely hates seeing Jack hurting. So he hides. He hides behind Ama’s care, he focuses on the one person who reminds him that he is still something.

So when they finally had their moment of truths. The revelation that will start to tear down the high walls they have built, they meet again in the middle. Where Jack is open in expressing himself, where Joke slowly accepts that he is indeed someone worthy of love. That misunderstandings can be a cause of hurtful words, but that at the end of the day, they are family.

So maybe soon, one day, we’ll see Joke reach for Jack this time, with no ounce of fear of rejection. Because by then, Jack & everyone in their little family of misfits, have proven to him that Joke has nothing to fear, that he is loved for who he is.

I can't wait for Jack to find out about what Joke did last episode and be mad at him - but not because he broke his promise, but because he's so careless with his life, bc he's always ready to throw it away for someone else (for him!). I can't wait for Jack to yell at him and tell him that he can't do that! That his life matters! I can't wait for him to hug Joke and kiss him and tell him that he doesn't want him to do that ever again bc his life is important and he's worth it and Jack doesn't want to lose him
