Raphael’s been there for me when I needed him. He saved my life. You didn’t even notice something when was wrong.

[Caption: gifset of the fight between Alec and Raphael in Shadowhunters. Raphael gets a hold of him and tells him that the relationship with Isabelle is more than the blood for him, that he has feelings for her. Isabelle is (pleasantly) surprised by this and asks him to let her brother go. When he does, Alec starts beating him and Raphael doesn’t defend himself, while Isabelle screams for Alec to stop, saying it is her fault.]

Isabelle Lightwood. To what do I owe the pleasure?

He says he was wondering if she’d like to join him for dinner, and she asks him to clarify if he’s asking her out. He claims he just wants to express his gratitude for how well she kept the Institute while he was away, and she snaps it’s not necessary, that she had nothing to do with it, and starts walking away. He grabs her arm, insisting, asking if she’d want to eat dinner the next day. She removes her arm, gives an insincere “sorry”, and leaves the room, with Aldertree looking transfixed at her.]

Bonus: Alec asks Aldertree if he knows where Isabelle is, knowing he spoke to her in the orning, because she hasn’t been in the Institute since. Aldertree, reading a book by the fireplace, replies that he didn’t realize he was the keeper of Isabelle’s calendar.

Isabelle accuses Victor Aldertree of using Alec as bait to capture Jace, and he replies that he’s working on capturing “the fugitive that put Alec in that position”. Later, Isabelle says they’re not gonna loose Alec, and Aldertree calls her confident, “too confident”. Isabelle eventually offers information about Jace’s whereabouts to get Aldertree to help her, and requests that he gives her access to a Portal. Their last interaction in the episode is Aldertree asking if they have a deal, and Isabelle staring at him without replying, but having no option but to agree.]

Isabelle’s suitors: A Door Into the Dark

[Caption: gifs from Shadowhunters. A guy fighting propositions Isabelle, telling him he wants to take her home and show her some of his moves up close and personal, making her smirk. Inside the circle, he tells her he doesn’t fight girls, “especially hot ones”, and Isabelle smiles and says that then it’ll be really one-sided. She gives him a beating, kicking him to the floor and stepping on his neck, smiling while she asks if he still wants to take her home.]

Bonus: Alec, who witness all this, smirks at the guy and asks if he really thinks he has a chance with Isabelle.
