OK but that blanket post: I've actually had this vague scenario in my head for like a week, ignocty (platonic or shippy) hurt Noct where it's just the two of them out somewhere isolated and foresty and Noct nearly gets drowned (dragged into water by sahagins?), so like what if he has a backpack on with his supplies in when it happens, and then afterwards they're trekking through the wild to find a safe place to camp and he's soaking wet and freezing and ohh nooo he finds his sleeping gear is also soaking and isn't that miserable, so of course Ignis wraps him up in his blanket instead and keeps him close for body heat and to just give him a hug, just a thought! (help I need to sleep but head is full of hurt/comfort lmao)

omg yeesssss I love that! in my head when I read the prompt I was thinking vaguely that he got separated from the other three and they found him later but the hurt/comfort would be so much better if Ignis was already there with him. maybe they split into two groups for some... canon-y reason? (it has been so long since I last played the game, what even HAPPENS in it) I mean hunts are always a good excuse I suppose.

I like the idea of his backpack getting soaked because then it's not even just his blanket, it's EVERYTHING in there and gosh that would just be so terrible. even his favourite snacks are ruined man why does the world hate him. I'm especially partial to the sahagin bit since I made him get clawed by one in my first ffxv fic lmao, always up for more of them. also I'm weak for Ignis wrapping him in a blanket and hugging him, don't even care if it's platonic or shippy, both are good, just give me THEM. and if they go to sleep with Ignis still holding him because Noct just can't get warm I wouldn't complain 🤣

What a fun game! They say the first line of a story is the hook to drag you in, and I have a tendency to drop right into the action. So that's a one-two punch of brevity and a lot of dialogue, to be punchy...! Also, "Puppetry" and a whole mess of fics prior to that are from XVtober, and so are very short and rather plotless, more texture and feeling than anything. So, there you go.

The exchange of blaster fire resounded throughout the corridors, the signature discharge sounds from the weapons as well as the pinging searing when they struck a bulkhead or one of the crates they were using as cover. The thud of plastoid covered bodies hitting the deck plating from the other side came at various intervals. As did the blossoming alarm of dispatched and armed droid poppers.

He was lent against the unyielding carbon-scored surface of someone's armour, sitting between their knelt legs whilst his upper body laid against the armour of their torso. They were crouched in a kneeling position to shield Crosshair with a bent knee and an arm wrapped around his side as their other hand held a decee that they periodically used to fire over the stacked line of crates they were using as cover. When did you start writing?

So, basically, my parents taught me how to use Word, when I was seven and from that moment I've been making it everyone else's problem. I haven't started publishing until I was 22, though (but that AO3 account is deleted and if anyone tries to bring those fics up here I'll bite that person).

Are there different themes or genres you enjoy reading than what you write?

That's... A hard question. A lot of it depends on the fic and my mood tbh. Like, I prefer reading fluff and happy endings, especially in long fics (and you know, what I usually write, lol), but if the premise is captivating enough and I'm in a mood, I'll still read whump (I also love whumpy oneshots).

The only thing that comes to my mind, that I definitely don't like reading (usually), but am okay with writing, is falling in love. I'm an established relationship bitch, no slow burn, no pining, it just doesn't interest me. I am now working on a romance fic, where characters slowly fall in love with each other, though.

Is there a writer you want to emulate or get compared to often?

My biggest writing authority has always been Stephen King and I still hope one day I'll reach his level. But I don't think there's anyone I can be compared to. Is there?

Can you tell me a bit about your writing space?

TBH I can write anywhere, if I'm hyped enough. Usually I work at my ancient desk (like, how the fuck this mass produced shit hasn't fallen apart yet?!), on my main laptop, while listening to music... But I can also write on phone literally wherever I am. I've also written fics on my portable laptop during classes. Seriously, if I want, I can. Anywhere.

What's your most effective way to muster up a muse?

I don't have any. Actually, I have an opposite problem.

Are there any recurring themes in your writing? Do they surprise you?

Ooof, that's a hard one... I can give you tropes, but themes? Not that easily... I think one of the recurring themes is exploration of relationships between people, especially the outcasts. Also, trauma, and how it affects life. And grief. 'Cause where's trauma, there's also grief.

Like, even in my fluffier fics you can catch glimpses of it. This one for example. It's only about 3 lines, but there is a mention of being hurt growing up and how it fucks you up in the adult life.

What is your reason for writing?

The same, as for any other creative stuff I do – I have to have an outlet for my creativity or I'll explode. Heh. Not to subject y'all to my spiritual stuff again, but his is what happens, when creation is one's True Will, lol.

Also, if I don't write, what I want to read, no one will.

How do you want to be thought about by your readers?

As that mpreg bitch, who likes problematic shit and usually breaks their readers' hearts. Usually. I can do fluff, when I want to, too.

What do you feel is your greatest strength as a writer?

My ideas and ability of coming up quickly with new plots (which is more of a curse, but WELP). Also, according to my friend I write nice descriptions of food.

How do you feel about your own writing?

When you write, are you influenced by what others might enjoy reading, or do you write purely for yourself, or a mix of both?

I am my primary audience, other people liking my stuff is just a nice bonus.
