Now that Fireheart is leader all I can think of is how protective ThunderClan is gonna be of their small orange favorite guy - they just had all of their leaders taken out in such quick succession it's gonna have them all trying to keep Fireheart in their line of sight as much as possible (the fact that he's Small and THE most popular cat in the Clan does not help)

I need Zoepper mutual pining content but like in a convoluted and messy way. Like on some level they are both aware of their feelings as well as each other's feelings for themselves but they refuse to let the relationship happen.

Pepper thinks that Zoe is just trying to be nice and that she's just misinterpreting normal friend things as flirting (it is flirting (I mean people can do things in a platonic context that some people would consider romantic but this is not that. Zoe is flirting with her. Romantically)). After all, what would someone as perfect as Zoe want to do with some idiot like Pepper? She just has to push this down until she forgot it even happened.

Zoe knows that Pepper likes her and she likes Pepper, but she also knows that all of her relationships have never lasted more than a month. Zoe can't stand the idea that their relationship would just fizzle out like that and she'd be without her best friend because of a stupid crush. She will ignore her feelings for as long as she must to keep Pepper by her side.

but still they can't stop themselves from loving each other so they are stuck at an impasse. They are both unstoppable forces and unmovable objects, stuck in this situationship purgatory forever. I think that would be fun.
