The wife Rust basically made up in his head thanks to having false memories. Though I'm gonna talk abt her as if she were real bc hrgrhrg pretty womf

Has short brown hair and an undercut. Had her hair dyed purple once, but it's faded and just at the tips now

Has a necklace with a lock on it. It was her idea, she thought it was funny. She also gave Rust a key necklace (which, as mentioned in my Rust hcs, he. Doesnt actually have. He thinks he does, tho)

The most memorable 'date' was to a broken down bowling alley in the wastes

Witty and humorous. Probably more likely to make a dad joke than Rust

"Don't worry, I got this all under control" She does not

Basically has a grappling hook made out of a gun to launch herself around

Prefers to use knives, other silent weapons, or just straight up kicking whoever she's fighting

Met Rust by grappling around and basically just launched herself into him and kicked him in the back so fuckin hard he fell in love (simp)

Irving's younger brother

Specializes in using magic, as opposed to Irving preferring physical fights

Whereas Irving works in assigning jobs + defence, Sterling works in containment + mission control

He is NOT much better than Irving. Literally uses the Moglees as slaves. Dude get help

Gives the space crew 'points' that they can spend after a mission on stuff like decor for their rooms, upgrades, blah blah blah

The only non-rp character in this list

Comes from a murder mystery game called ‘Eagle Eye’, a game similar to your typical 'look around and find clues' murder mystery game. Takes place in London, England

Time period of her game is kinda wonky. Has some victorian stuff, modern stuff, basically Lionel did No research for her game

Was created in Lionel’s high school years for a computer science project. Was never released to the public

Never got more than one case to solve, and is patiently waiting for another

Was found by Jeremiah shortly after Combat Arena X was released (before Secrets of Legendaria was being made). Jeremiah twisted the truth on the abandonment to make Lionel sound like a bad person (well, to make it seem like the abandonment was Lionel being an asshole, and not just a teen being done with an assignment)

After FPP/??? was found and favoured for Jeremiah and Reggie’s narrative, Audie was instead sent to join Gameworks and spy on Irving’s work

Doesn’t reside at the inn, and is not present for Lionel’s death. She can instead be found in Jay’s section of Vicious Galaxy 2 as an easter egg (similar to Wizarro in WW + VG, or Rebecha’s cameo appearances in each game). Finding and talking to her unlocks a flashback scene that can be accessed post-finale in the chapter select menu

One of 4 main characters from Eagle Eye (Others include the suspect, the murder victim, and Audie's side kick)

Trans mtf and lesbian. She's trans bc I wanted an excuse to have Lionel make a lead female character despite the whole 'Carla told me to make girls even tho Steambot Willy's genderless' thing. Audie figured it out on her own and just kinda went 'oh!'

a/n: this is my first ever fic omg pls spare me with my low writing skills cause ive literally never done this fjskdjdhjdks okay i just love na jaemin periodt. (after writing: ITS VERY JUMPY AND LENGTHY I DIDNT PLAN TO MAKE IT LIKE THIS DJSKJSJSS)

so like your aunt owns a cafe which is in the middle of the city

and you live a lil outside just cause you know, school n shit

you visit her so often cause its a small cafe and it calms you down whenyou need a short break from everything

its weird thats its in the middle of the city but its still calming right?

well okay so like you know those small streets down the neighbourhoods?

the ones you dont really go unless you are rlly feeling adventurous n shit, your aunt’s cafe is in one of those streets

okay longass context down

and at school, you are in a photography club,,, or technically you just learn photography from your teacher after school but its not a whole club extravaganza

just cause your school kinda demands an extra curricular after the first year

but it feels really suffocating to be forced to do smth as a group/with people you arent as familiar with,,,,

so you “signed up” for the smallest club: [photography theory]

it was about time you start doing your hobby-ish thing at school and the tutor was cool with you being practically the only student in the club lmao so everything was going well but

youve never rlly done anything big yourself and your school friends havent pushed you to do smth either

so you were kind of looking to at least take part in one out-of-class project initiated by students maybe

and theres this big school newspaper club/writers’ club,,,, and you find out that they are like !! photographers & stories wanted !!

and you ?? at first but apparently its a project where like students get to submit their fav pic & write a mini article about “your place of comfort”

cause the topic of the month is mental health/dealing with stress and the newspaper club wants a students’ view on it, instead of just “meditation” as a topic

then you just have that cafe in your mind like,,, how you would love to shoot the street light shining into the cafe from afar and how calm that place makes you feel,,,

basically you just love your auntie’s cafe lmao

so then you go on about maybe joining it,,, but then you be indecisive cause youve never actually taken a photo professionally you just have a prolonging passion for it,,,

and your teacher is like “y/n idk why you are contemplating no ones gonna judge you just try smth new, go take the chance if you are feeling like it”

we love a supportive johnny, oh yes your english teacher is your photography “club” tutor,,, self proclaimed club

actually there have been many opportunities in the past with taking photos for projects like this one but you just stayed away cause it didnt “motivate” you to take photos for it

so johnny’s words kinda pushed your back n you felt like this was the right thing :))

so then you visit your auntie on the weekends asking maybe if you can take pics & ask her a couple questions about this place

and shes like ofc!! wanna see how you capture this place :))

so then you do this whole process and you submit the article & photos,,,,,

which ends up getting a whole page???

and you are like wh a t

newspaper club: oh you submitted many such pretty pictures & your comment felt very genuine

and you :)) but damn a whole page,,,, you is a lil anxious djskdjdh now the entire schools now going to know you

johnny the hype man teacher: see i told you it was going to turn out nice

and then kaboom, your article lowkey blows up lmao

your auntie is calling you up like “y/n!! so many customers came today!! and a lot of them are wearing the same uniform as you, they must be the students from your school!!”

and shes so happy so you are happy af

but then you remember like,,,, shes never had a part timer,,,,,

and she continues to manage the place by herself after it gets popular among the students,,,,

?? auntie,,, you never take a break ??

shes like maybe ill think about hiring someone?? and you are like, that would be good for you :)) i will be less worried about your health!!

whoop guess who got hired

and after youve had that^ conv, you had constant classes n group projects n shit so you literally had no time,,,

two weeks later, kinda highkey stressed

you decide to go make a quick visit to auntie before going to the library to study

and you peek,,, to see not your auntie,,,,

but a boy??

just standing behind the counter,,, no auntie to be seen but a beautiful boy???

before the opening hours,,,, he?? must be the part timer,,,

and once he notices you by the door,

he just smiles at you,,, so brightly,,,,

wow youve never seen such a pretty face,,,

you actually like forget to open the door you are just staring from outside the cafe,,,,

you are still confused but you just shake hands next to the counter,,,

and as you take a seat

jaemin just makes a smol run to the other side and hes like

“you came just in time, i want you to try my latte!!”

jaemin serves a cup of latte with a leaf art

this boy just served a latte first thing after shaking hands i-

you take a sip from the cup

and you are like,,, so auntie hired an experienced boy,,,,

“its really good,,,” it has the same comforting taste you always love

and jaemin just has the biggest smile :)))) you know his smile where the ends just curl in, yes that one

him beaming like that just makes you giggly inside,,,,

you ask him “so uh um im guessing you are the part timer??”

“yes!! i didnt introduce myself properly did i! i started working here two weeks ago :))

ive been coming here for quite a while now so im happy i got the chance!!”

and you ?¿ “ive never seen you here??” you are the most frequent customer youve gotta have seen him before fjsksj

hes like “oh um i always came at 9pm on a friday, after everyone leaves and the whole neighbourhood gets quiet”

and come to think of it, you’ve never visited here on a friday night,, cause you know, friday evening is your im not doing anything tonight kinda me time lmao

inside you are kinda happy that someone who knows this place got hired like its a special place to you so

tbh you were kinda anxious even though you trust your aunt,,,,,

and jaemin hurriedly goes “oh and also auntie is taking a break today, shes out to the market so im gonna take over until she returns in the afternoon”

apparently shes told jaemin

a) reason why this cafe recently became a popular hideout cafe for students because you wrote a school article bout it

b) that you do photography

c) and that this cafe is your break time so you never study here and auntie loves listening to you talk about school n what not

and then you are like !!

“wait so then you dont go to our school ,,,um are you also a student?”

and you panic a little cause i mean you just met him but you literally know nothing and you mightve assumed things fjsksj

and jaemin tells you “ah yes i go to a hospitality school downtown” “ohh”

and from there he just starts talking about his school and what he studies

he asks you about school but jaemin is extra excited about his hospitality course hes all !! :))!!

and you are so hooked on jaemin talking about his school you forget an hour passes by,,,,

[time to open the cafe]

then the customers start coming in

and you are like “oh sorry ive just bothered you during the preparation time,,,,, it was nice meeting you!! gotta go now :))”

and you rush out cause all you planned to do was give your auntie a little visit

also you dont want to bother jaemin cause its hes gonna handle the place alone for a couple hours

you wave a smol see you soon and

jaemin just does a little chuckle,, and hes like waving so widely fjsksj does he know other people can see him

and thats how your first day with jaemin went

later that day you return home thinking like,,, did you just get so excited to converse with someone who you juSt met,,,

and jaemin on the other hand, is thinking about how beautiful you looked today

just that short while but it made him so happy

so next week you visit again, expecting to see your auntie

and hes like “hi uh dont mind me im just here a bit because jaemin has to go somewhere after this and i dont want him to be late”

and when he goes to the storage room, you just see renjun getting along with the auntie lmao

auntie: “so i got offered this contract with the new type of beans? and idk if i should take it because that would mean i have to go out of the city,,,,”

renjun: “for how long?”

auntie: “two weeks maybe”

renjun: “oh thats fine, dont worry about it. jaemin can take over that. next two weeks right? his mandatory work experience ends this week”

so thats how renjun signed jaemin up to work alone for auntie without his consent

and aunties like “y/n!! it would be so much for just jaemin, you should help him :) your break starts next week right?”

so you also got signed up to this thing

fast forward to first day of break

aka the first time you “work” there

you are nervous and jaemin can feel it

“dont worry y/n, ill do all the talking and coffee, you just have to serve & clean!!”

so you try to calm down a bit

not to mention that you are also nervous cause its only jaemin and you in the room

but then he sees you fumbling with tying the apron and

jaemin says “here, give it, ill do it for you” while smiling a little

and from the back he wraps the apron around your waist,,,

and hes so close to you,,, your heart is fluttering

and little do you know,,, jaemin is flushing a bit behind your back,,,

you are both the cutest mess

and you break the silence with a smol

trying to contain yourself from screaming

adapting to the serving side & keeping youself busy

you dont realise jaemin is literally admiring you the entire time as you get used to the job,,,,

here and then you forget how close you might be standing next to jaemin,,,

you kinda also realise how rEALLY attractive he looks serving everyone with a huge smile 24/7

and the way some customers are obviously attracted to him,,,,

but what you dont know is he is literally taking this chance to highkey flirt with you lmao

waves (sometimes winks) across the room

causally hovers over you when you cant find/reach smth

beaming the biggest smile every minute he gets to himself

and at first you panicked like ?!????

cause was this jaemin boy holding back for a whole month

is this his nature yes

but it makes you so happy to see him smiling all the time beside you

so jaemin yes its working

you gotta admit tho his flirty-ish behaviour grew on you this entire week djskjssj

a week of giggly smiles uwu

but the week after was unexpectedly the busiest of the busiest

you two forgot national holidays collided with the weekends and for some, it was a week off,,,,,,

so the week rushes by so quickly compared to the last one

it kind saved you tho cause your heart cant take more of that flirty behaviour

and finally,

the peak days are over,,,

and you realise its been a while since the cafe was just you,,,, and well jaemin but just no customers

the silence with faint sounds of cups cluttering,,,, you missed it

so then you go sit on the high chair

just admiring jaemin organise the shelves

he starts to prepare a new cup of coffee then realises you smiling at him “were you in awe at how effortless i look right now??”

you chuckle at his remark,,,

(needless to say that your are chuckling to hide how your heart is melting at his smirky smile)

so you twirl a bit shyly,, and avert the gaze to the familiar wood of the counter

asking him “do you remember the day we first saw each other, me sitting here and you serving the latte?”

“ofc, its the day i met an angel”

oh so confidently na jaemin really just said that

you quickly look up at him like !!!?!???!

and thats how he earned a first kiss (or rather a peck) from you

leaning over the counter and pecking you, a whole blushy mess

then comes a clink by the door

oof the customer may or may not have seen you two

you both rush around flushed like a tomato lmao

spending the rest of the day like nothing happened oops

and after the day ends, you two close the cafe

as you starting walking you are caught off guard when

jaemin just takes your hand,,,

“look y/n!! the stars are so pretty!!”

and starts swinging your arm like a tall child,,,

your heart is skippingnsjsjsjs

then at the corner, jaemin turns around and goes

“this is actually the place i first saw you”

and you ??¿?¿¿

“i saw you taking the photo of this night light shining into the cafe”

still hand in hand, jaemin steps a little closer

and takes his free hand to cup your face, kissing you,,,,

you smile into him as he kisses so softly, thinking

maybe the day i took that photo was a friday night

and melting into the kiss, you really think you are dreaming,,,,,

under the lights you once wished capturing a sparkling moment with the cafe in the back

its now you and jaemin in the frame,,,,

the boy who had you forgetting to breathe a month ago

whos now serving your favourite latte with a bonus of pecks on the cheek,,,,, (maybe on the lips if theres no one watching)

anyways

jaemin brings light to your life and you have never been this happy until you met him uwu

and it goes both ways, jaemin cant live without you now,,,, you are the best thing thats ever happened to him

this makes gladioulus more happy and he kisses your forehead

shaking, twisting, just acting like two dorks

suddenly the slow couples song plays and you sit down knowing gladioulus hates those

“hello, what are we doing? y/n we should dance out there!”

you disagree and he picks you up bridal style with ease

he places you in the middle and wraps his arms around you to dance to the music

gladioulus tells you that what this song says he feels that way about you

since gladiolus is so tall you take your shoes off and place your feet delicately on his

ive been watching your scenes to rewatch and ive been crying at literally all of them. out of curoisity, what are your favourite ouat scenes? either sq or general? also side note, i love your latest fic, such an interesting premise. i get so scared every time someone says an order and emmas forced to comply, that scene with the trolls had me on edge. and the fact that cora must suspect something about emma now - im so scared but excited ahah :D have a nice day :)

OH I super dropped the ball on those omg, i have so many others!! but i haven’t been able to rewatch in a long time, it hard 😩

of course i LOVE almost every swan queen scene!! it’s hard for me to pick favorites because nearly every one pings something else inside me omfg. I don’t think there’s a single sq scene I couldn’t write an essay about WHOOPS. so lemme try to answer this with just some of my favorite non-sq scenes 😅

Emma in True North: hoo boy, this is probably in my scenes to rewatch but that scene on the road, MAN. there’s so much careful buildup with emma’s abandonment issues and how much she sees herself in nick and ava. and they have a chance she never does and dammit, she fights for them!! she fights for two kids just like her and they get their moment and jmo turns that realization into agony with sheer artistry in emma’s FACE in their final moment. god.

Regina in We Are Both: this was the episode that sold me on Regina! tbh i’d marathoned s1 as soon as they announced mulan was going to be in s2 so i hadn’t been focusing much on thinking before that?? and then suddenly there’s Regina, in all her rich and layered stories, and i fell hARD. the whole narrative of the episode- Regina resisting parental abuse until she becomes what she’s always feared to be free!! and that translating into her saying ‘no, this isn’t going to continue to the next generation. even if i lose the only thing that matters to me.’ do u ever stan!!! I DONT KNOW HOW TO LOVE VERY WELL. END ME.

Emma in Firebird: listen. never follow ur idols to ur next fandom or you’ll suddenly realize they actually hate women and then get ‘’’muted’’’ for ‘’’yelling at her too much’’’ but jane espenson did a GOOD with the flashbacks in this one (present day still literal and figurative hell tho!!). The concept of Emma’s jacket as armor isn’t an original one, but the execution was honestly stellar. Emma forging this connection with an older hardened woman who can’t let go of the past either!! emma destroyed and remade into the lady we met on her twenty-eighth birthday. GOD. SHE FINDS HER DAUGHTER. and i gotta say, the vulnerable-tearful-young thing jmo was doing w emma in s5 didn’t work for me in terms of what present day was trying to convey, but it’s a perfect fit for that flashback, i WEPT.

Regina in Quite A Common Fairy: Lana OWNS the cave scene with Tink, god. The depth and breadth of emoTION. The episode and the narrative itself builds it up from episode one! because this regina on the road to redemption but finally giving us a glimpse into the emotional and mental state she was in as the young queen- she has all this rage and she’s SUSTAINED by it, it’s her only real truth and constant and she’s terrified of what might happen if she lets it go for even an instant and chooses hope instead. (Lana’s voice when Regina says she’s afraid that without rage she might just ‘—float away’ is something that has stayed with me for a long, long time.) REGINA PULLING OUT HER HEART TO MAKE A POINT. far from the last time she will, but how affecting!! god!!

Emma and Snow in S1: There are a few moments i’m thinking of (and i’m literally writing this on the treadmill so pls forgive the lack of episode names) and all of them are so stellar, god. The moment when Snow finds Emma living out of her car early on. Snow and Emma sitting at the table at the loft holding hands. Emma lying down next to a crying Snow. Snow yelling at Emma for being so selfish when she tries running off with Henry?? EMMA SHOWING UP AT MARY MARGARET’S DOOR SEARCHING FOR A ~PERSON~ AND MARY MARGARET SILENTLY LETTING HER IN. Snow and Emma work best in S1 in the silences and the fights, where they’re allowed to just care and be family, and I treasure each of those moments as much as they do.

Regina and Zelena in the Kansas: There’s a lot of effort put into this dynamic right near what seemed like the end, playing with how exactly Zelena perceives her happy ending to go- and then Regina strikes it all down by being different, by changing, by being someone Zelena hadn’t believed either of them capable of. And then Regina goes to Zelena’s cell and offers her!! sisterhood!! my god. i instantly fell in love with the dynamic in that moment and i’m forever pressed that the ‘it’s nice to have family in town’ line was cut. because you can tell that regina craves family and craves unmaking this second monster of her mother’s and zelena was going to TAKE that second chance and hey! this seems the perfect time to go off-message and

Belle in Family Business and Heroes and Villains: imma be honest, i like belle just fine in the early seasons but i have zero interest in rumbelle, which means a lot of fast-forwarding through her scenes. But these two scenes were ENCHANTING. Mirror Belle preying on Belle with the truth that she’s afraid to face! Emilie does such a fantastic job conveying so much cruelty in that scene, I was gaping and enthralled and hoping shattered sight was going to work exactly like that (and tbh props to ginny for doing a hella creepy snow at the start of Shattered Sight). And that town line scene!!! What a stunning, evocative scene. Belle reclaiming agency and taking action in such a 100% cold-blooded but necessary way!! that’s my ravenclaw babe!!!

Mulan and Aurora: I was young, and I Believed, and I Believed for a very long time. I am appalled at my naïveté too, don’t worry.

Regina in Enter the Dragon: LOOK it’s not about the leather but it’s a lil about the leather!!! I really appreciate both Regina in the past and present in this one and also how gay it is, and I’m most charmed by lil evil pep talking nugget Regina who just wants you to be the very best villain you can be! It’s such an artful melding of the exuberance of young!Regina and the delight in chaos of eq!Regina and i, for one, am a fan.

Emma (and Henry) in The Stranger/An Apple Red as Blood: my gOD. Okay I think one of the first times I cried while watching this show was in Emma’s desperate, hysterical denial to August about the curse. She’s so clearly hit rock bottom and she’s TERRIFIED of believing and it’s breaking her. SHE DIDNT ASK TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR EVERYONES HAPPINESS. SHE DOESNT WANT IT. THAT IS CRAP!!!! i love her!! i love emma swan!!! i do!!!!! and then moving into the end of the next episode when she tells henry she’s leaving and just!! ‘henry! life isn’t a story!’ man this show had some incredible early work. sigh. emma kneeling in front of henry begging him to listen! my god.

Regina in the Cricket Game: so i’m leaving out all my fave sq moments which severely limits the number of regina and emma scenes i can talk about here but the flashbacks in this one SURE ARE SOMETHING. regina has hit rock bottom in this set and you feel it in every moment, in her REGRET THAT I HAVE NOT CAUSED MORE PAIN and frickin stABBING snow and that dark scene with the candle oh god. this is a regina who doesn’t think about looking back anymore but who doesn’t think about looking forward, either, and she’s terrifying. it reminds me a lot of the scene later this season in Welcome to Storybrooke where she takes out snow’s heart and ‘see? i can have everything’ but there are tears sliding down her face. regina in enraged despair is something to behold!!

Henry (and Emma and Regina) in Operation Mongoose: Henry doesn’t often get lengthy times to shine that aren’t about other characters, but he was literally a YA hero in the author’s universe! man! what a kid! and his scenes with bandit Regina are some of my all-time favorites, as is that heartstopping moment when he reaches the top of that tower and flings the door open and Emma KNOWS him. reader, i wept. i wept hard. talk about your earned moments!!!

Emma as Dark Swan: posture! clothing! positioning! voice work! dark swan was a revelation i’m still rightfully bitter about, because she was EVERYTHING in those early episodes. the way she caressed snow’s face in first episode of 5a. the faux-innocent with the calculating eyes on the ship with whats-his-name. every interaction with henry where she was trying to be a PERSON. the way she moved! the way she felt more reptilian than human! i wanted to know everything about her!! (then i did and quit the show lol) honestly some of jmo’s best acting to date, i’m forever in awe.

That Still Small Voice: look, this is an episode about a cricket and it remains one of my favorite quality ouat episodes. Archie sells it best as an adult influenced by his past without quite knowing it, and Archie and Henry make for a really engaging dynamic in here. There is nothing about Archie’s professional behavior that doesn’t make me want to scream but this remains a very, very good episode.

Emma in Sympathy for the De Vil/Lily: okay this is cheating a little because so much of this is also Regina but!! Emma individually shines in this narrative and throughout 4b. From the moment she finds out about what her parents had done, you can watch it slowly draining a part of her?? yes her eyes got redder but there was also this kind of apathy about EVERYTHING. And tbh the Cruella episode is pretty awesome on its own (I love the slow revelation that Cru is the villain, what a stellar execution of a fave trope) but WHEN EMMA KILLS HER. In the exact moment that Cruella says ‘heroes don’t kill’. that’s what pushes emma over the edge!! and then emma ready to kill again the next episode because she feels like she’s sliding into an abyss, i couldn’t BREATHE. emma is incredible when the narrative lets her be angry, and i wanted So Much More. Speaking of which, Emma getting angrier and angrier and almost losing it in The Snow Queen was more of that anger!! i am HUNGRY for it.

Regina and Snow in The Evil Queen: This episode is messy af but damn did my heart skip a beat when a hooded hero saves Regina and tears off her hood and it’s SNOW. This episode does so much of what makes Snow/Regina so fascinating and frustrating, both in the present and the past. Their interactions in the woods moved me! changed me! and Regina had already crossed the point of no return but oh man, oh man, the way they’d almost gotten somewhere for a minute there.

Regina and Henry in Save Henry: A classic, a work of art, and I’ve said so much about it in the past that I’m exhausted just thinking about expressing it all again now. But what a STORY of an evil queen who falls in love with a little boy. What a narrative!! The promo pictures from this episode came out when I was sitting in the hospital for a checkup while I was expecting my daughter, and I was tearing up and the nurses thought it was about the ultrasound. I’M NOT PROUD. This is a love story!!! And it culminates again in A Curious Thing, by the way, which put another ten years on my life, an Epic !

Emma and Henry in New York City Serenade: boy was this a journey, but I was absolutely spellbound omg. This was a love song to a fantasy but it’s a fantasy that never unmakes Emma– she’s afraid of commitment and happiness and everything permanent in her life that isn’t Henry, but she’s still going to take that leap despite herself. It’s a wonderful character study that captures Emma’s essence in a new world, with a new past.

Snow in The Miller’s Daughter: Snow is at her best when the show isn’t painting her with rose-colored glasses and we get to see her darker side, and I don’t think she ever gets quite as dark in the first three seasons as she is when she’s standing there, smiling earnestly at Regina as she tells her that the key to Cora loving Regina is in the poisoned heart she holds. My god. It’s so incredibly cold-blooded and vile, and it’s absolutely the kind of manipulative pragmatism that suits Snow best. I am enthralled and horrified.

Neal and Emma and Henry and Gold in Manhattan: This is one of those really cool scenes where even though I don’t particularly care for half the characters within it, everyone acted the hell out of it and it’s so GOOD. There’s so much tension and you’re holding your breath through the squabbling, and then Henry shows up and you KNOW. You know what’s going to happen and you’re terrified for Emma and it’s so visceral, right up until the instant when Neal demands Henry’s age and Henry shouts ELEVEN and my god, my god. What a reveal. What a scene.

There are more!! so many scenes and moments i’ve loved over the years. Emma and young!Lily! Snowing in Snow Falls! Anna of Arendale!! Snow and Emma in Lost Girl!! Ruby in Red Handed! The David/Emma dragon fight in A Land Without Magic! Regina tearing out that heart in The Doctor and meeting Daniel again?? Regina and her father in hell. all of Hat Trick. i think twenty is a good place to stop, but hoo boy, when this show was good, it was GOOD. alas.

i meant to do some life update posts but ive been busy and lazy so i put them off and idr what all i wanted to write anymore. which kind of defeats the purpose of me writing more personal posts as a way to combat my memory issues abt my own life but... whoops, i guess.

so um. let’s see. the weekend before last i climbed 2 mountain peaks (one after the other, so not full descent) in the La Sal mountains with some coworkers, and only kind of re-damaged my knees in the process. they definitely hurt before i even made it to the top of the first peak and i had to walk all the downhill before the second one backwards. same with the first mile or so down from the top of the second, but then there were these GIANT patches of snow leading down the mountain (we went backcountry/off trail for the second peak and down towards the other trailhead), so instead of walking we like sat down and slid instead. Butt-sledding is SURPRISINGLY INCREDIBLY FAST, and it turned out some of the bushes along the way were thorn bushes and beneath the snow was like entirely rock scree. but the snow was either deep enough or we numbed up fast enough that it was way more fun than painful. and certainly sped up the descent/got me down faster than my hobbling would otherwise have allowed. I guess i favored my worse knee too much on the way though because like mile before we got back to the car my hip, which has never been one of my problem joints, started screaming too. what the hell. im going to throw away this garbage skeleton and trade it for robot bones at the first available opportunity. but i stretched 8000 times and so nothing was too sore the next day.

...which was a monday that i took off work to go rafting instead. woo! building construction at our office has been even crazier now, and we’ve been reduced to 3 tiny square offices and 8 computers. 3 are perma-claimed by my manager/IT guy/masters degree lady and all 7 of us techs have to try to share the other 5. which means getting work done on days we’re not in the field is essentially impossible but DOES mean we get to take a lot of bullshit time off just to clear out more space.

so anyway i went rafting! shared a boat with a friend who just got the raft (8ft) and had just bought some oars for it (instead of only paddles). the rest of our group were in pack rafts/duckies (3 other ppl). my friend rowed most of it since she’s working on getting good enough to guide that section of river but i tried for one (sizable) rapid, and did NOT flip us OR crash us into the rock wall, although the second came a lil closer than i would have liked. the oars were a bit short so kept hitting my knees and made it really hard to pull the raft forward at all, so I mostly had to resort to steering with the current to keep us facing straight against the waves. it was fun but if I try again i think it’s gonna be at lower/slower water, the river’s been super fast this month (around 2500csf i think that day). tried out one of the duckys after that (like a kayak but inflatable and shorter walls) and that was really fun--soooo much easier to control, even if every time you hit a wave it basically fills your raft anyway. after rapids you kind of have to just paddle to the side and tip it out and then rejoin the group. anyway it was nice!! better than spending all day in a construction cubicle fighting over .58 of a computer.

the week after that, my internet wife @alimsurana came to visit!!!! with her two children aka cats, Buddy and Chloe. the kitties had to be in my room the whole time because we have another cat and 2 dogs in our house and didn’t want poor budbud to get scared and run/disappear into our air ducts or something. but they are adorable cuddly monsters. anyway Mel ended up staying several days extra since her car broke when she first tried to leave (the summer desert sun melted a wax scent thing hanging from her rierview mirror and it got all up in the gearshift), so we spent probably 90% of our waking hours together building very elaborate mansions in the Sims 4. Like spend 2 hours making the people, 8 hours on the house, and then I can only really play the actual game for like 20 minutes mostly just to make sure the house all works before I get bored and move on to the next elaborate house. essentially all the sims is is a $20 architectural simulator to me.

after that my work week was mostly manual labor building fences in 100º weather. we were supposed to be doing this in march when it was nice out but the BLM did not get our permits done until now because they personally hate me and are out to ruin my June. But jokes on them, I didn’t go to work on friday anyway because I got a migraine that morning, and before we could leave town I lost the cognitive connection between my mouth and my brain. so i freaked out my coworker by failing to remember basic words and messing up the ones I did (”I have a migraine” became “I halbd... a mi... mih... hm.”) but he got the message eventually and I went home and took my fancy migraine drugs and slept forever instead. Except then yesterday (saturday) the migraine still wasn’t really gone? Was having some eye-focus troubles (I get a lot of aura with my migraines) and then headache so took more meds again yesterday. And today some more pain but slightly less eye focus issues and there’s a headache but it doesn’t get worse as long as I lay still... anyway idk I’m trying not to think about it too much and am just avoiding the idea of doctors right now. if i have to stay home from work tomorrow I will consider talking to someone about it but my usual grand strategy of “suffer and wait at least a week just in case it does go away” is pretty tempting. this is very unlike my usual migraines (very severe but only last about 24 hours) but idk thats a problem for the me who has to leave bed tomorrow I guess.

alright thats about it probably! time for more sleep, the thing i have done most this weekend, and silent prayers that this is the result of nasty construction chemicals or something and not brain tumors.

whoops i meant to post this last night but left it open in a tab and closed the computer instead. alas

(A/N:Here we go,everyone! Sorry for the wait! This is officially the second-to-last chapter of Let’s Make a Deal.)

Mobster! Cassian x Reader

Plot Summary: 1954. All you cared about was earning money and surviving in the concrete jungle that we call New York City. However, ever since WWII ended, crime was rampant all around, and you managed to land right in the heart of it all. Cassian Andor was one of the local crime bosses, and the two of you managed to cross paths.

The anti-racketeering bill had been vetoed by an incredible 13-1 vote, leaving much to be celebrated by Cassian's gang. With your immense numbers of alcohol and Cassian's 'persuasion,' you had managed to get the government to do what you wanted.

And that called for a celebration.

Drinks were flowing as you made toasts from behind the counter, dressed a little nicer with a black dress and makeup for the party. "To Cassian! For stopping another prohibition and saving my bar!" You shouted from the top of the counter as the men whooped and hollered in glee.

"Of course, we would have been useless without this woman here!" Cassian smiled, climbing up next to you and wrapping his arm around your waist. "To Y/N! For helping us get councilmen inebriated enough to vote against the bill!"

"Cheers!" They all yelled, clapping as you saw Jasmine and Cohen sharing a celebratory and most likely tipsy kiss. You chuckled, raising your glass as everyone drank.

"You know what, I'm glad." You smiled as Cassian helped you down from the counter and back behind the counter.

"For what?" He asked, straightening his tie as a strand of hair fell in front of his face, away from the slicked-back form.

"Meeting you, of course. Sure, I was utterly terrified of you and everything you did, but you're a good guy, Cass. I don't regret making that deal with you." You admitted to him as he chuckled.

"Well, neither do I. And I don't blame you for being terrified, I nearly hit you when I sent that senator flying through that window." The two of you laughed at the memory. "God, that was only a few months ago." He sighed.

"Feels like forever, doesn't it?" You said, and he nodded, the two of you staring into each other's eyes for a moment.

"Well, I better, get back to drinks." You spoke, looking away.

"O-Okay. I'll go, talk with my men." He walked out of the counter, as his mob buddies gave him a thumbs-down.

"You said you were gonna do it, boss." Bodhi sighed, wrapping an arm around his shoulders.

"I know I did, but I couldn't." He sighed, looking back as you handed a drink to Jyn. "Can you blame me? She's a fox."

"And she thinks you're a stud. Why do you think she stuck around and threw us a party? She got involved by your blackmail and now it's not even blackmail anymore. She's got it bad." Bodhi noted, taking a swig of his beer.

"Bodhi's right. You gonna sit around and wait for some vulture to swoop in and take her off her feet?" Joey quickly added, before disappearing back into the bar.

Cassian sighed, looking back to you as you talked to Jyn, gorgeous and alluring, before he looked back to his drink.

"Good lord, do I need to smash your faces together?" Jyn laughed, taking a sip of her gin and tonic.

"Please don't, I'm alright." You responded, crossing your legs as you sat on the barstool next to her.

"I swear to God, the sexual tension is killing me, Y/N!" Jasmine butted in, Cohen gripped onto her, the two of them surprisingly well-off for a few drinks. "All you gotta do is just, put a good ol' smacker on his face! Leave him a lil' red lipstick stain!"

"Little lady's right, Y/N." Cohen chuckled, pointing back to Cassian with his thumb. "Boss is practically in love with you. Ever since you told Jyn you liked that black tie on him, he bought five more of them."

Joey popped up behind Jyn, grinning. You were wondering where the hell he came from as Joey talked. "It's true! Cassian turns into such a candyass when you're in the picture."

You blushed, chuckling at your friend's attempts at matchmaking, before the door burst open.

"Oh shit." You heard Cassian mutter as he walked by you. "Y/N, get behind me."

You followed, standing up and mirroring his movements slightly as the men in suits entered the bar, the atmosphere changing from lively to silent and seething. "What a lovely little party! Mind if we join?"

"What the hell do you want, Krennic?" Cassian spoke up, his arm outstretched in front of you.

"Who's this?" Krennic gestured to you. "She's a cutie."

God, he's gross.

"You leave her alone." Cassian barked, pushing you back so you were safe behind the counter.

"You don't remember the deal? You owe me after the last shipment got busted."

Cassian practically growled, hovering in front of you like a guard dog. "I told you, I'm not in that business anymore, my father was."

"We still need payment." Krennic sighed, then pointed to you with a gloved hand. "How about that girl over there? She seems like she's worth a lot if you're going through so much trouble shielding her."

"It's not like that, asshole."

Krennic grinned. "Oh my god, you're in love with her? Pathetic."

"Yeah, so I love her. She's not going with you, fucker." He admitted, his eyes widening slightly as he looked back to you, brows furrowed in anger but eyes blown with worry.

You and Cassian stared at each other, your eyes practically speaking for you when your lips wouldn't.

You're in love, and he's not letting anything happen to you.

"Be honest, Cassian, there's plenty out there. Give me the girl, and we'll forget about our little debt."

"No way in hell."

Krennic sighed, crossing his arms. "Come on, Andor. She's just a bitch with some beer, she's nothing compared to some of the easy floozies out there."

Cassian froze, shaking with seething rage before he lunged at him, but reacted too late. Krennic smashed a nearby beer bottle and stabbed him in the shoulder, and you watched as Cassian went down, yelling in pain as a bar fight broke out between Cassian and Krennic's men. You grabbed him, catching Cassian as he fell and the blood and shards stained his shirt.

"Come on, babe. Come with me and you'll help your little friend out of debt."

You looked up at Krennic, then back down, where your eyes met Cassian's, breathing hard as he pulled the bottle out, covered in his own blood.

The next thing you knew, you saw red. You reached for the pistol under the counter and shot him in the stomach, the fight immediately ceasing when a shot rang out.

The bar was frozen as you stood up, heels clicking as you stood over Krennic and spat on the ground next to him, before pointing the pistol up to the men behind him.

"Get the fuck out of my bar."

Krennic's men were terrified, immediately picking up their boss and scrambling out of the door as you saw the others quickly running to the counter.

"Jasmine, we have a first aid kit in the back room." You commanded, as she nodded and ran to the back.

"Bodhi, Cohen, I need your help to get Cassian into the back room. Joey, hold the door open. Jyn, there's a makeshift cot you can fold out in there behind the door." All of the men followed as you helped Cassian up to his feet, each step he took came with a grunt of pain as you lied him down onto the cot.

"Don't worry, honey, I've got you." You mumbled, carefully picking shards of glass out of Cassian's shoulder until he chuckled.

"What?" You asked, as you wiped up the blood with an alcohol wipe as Cassian winced in pain, before looking over to you.

"That's the first pet name you've given me." Cassian spoke, as you shook your head and chuckled, despite your overwhelming worry.

You heard the muttering of the small crowd behind you, until Jyn's voice overtook the chatter.

"Hey, everyone, celebrate them later, let Y/N fix Cassian now." Jyn reminded them, starting to shove the people out of the back room as you bit the inside of your cheek, smiling in sympathy to Cassian before you got back to fixing up his wound.

i figured out a plot point. see like, Rhia being in team whatsit, at face value, makes no fucking sense. she openly dislikes the group, she’s a bit lone-wolfy, the only benefit is that shes efficient and she supports part of their goal (the whole Fuck the Pokemon League thing)

but heres an idea. see, the thing with Rhia is, she’s legally a weird entity. cause like, after the raid thing, she as a person disappeared and Rhia emerged, out of some possibly misguided and immature desire to Never Fucking See Elliot Again. see, Rhia was convinced (rightly) that after a while Elliot would try to find her. He’d spin guilt, he’d wax philosophical, he’d try to convince her that he hadn’t done anything wrong when he left her in the base. so Rhia’s solution is to, as a person, disappear. hence being called Rhia. this is tough to separate because idk what her name was prior, but we’ll say it was Ebony. So, after the raid, Ebony disappears, though this is not known to anyone other than Elliot and it takes a while for the police to notice that this orphan hasn’t been seen in months.

Ebony vanishes, and Elliot hunts that empty trail. in her place is Rhia, a person who has no obvious connection to Ebony beyond vague aesthetics, which with time diminish (also she dyed her hair soooooo yknow)

but the thing is, Rhia needs to legally exist, which she doesn’t, in order to try and live a normal life. The Doctor and his family come up with the long ruse, that she’s the daughter of the Doc’s wife’s sister’s husband from a previous marriage. since that family (the Stantons, we’ll call them) live in Unova, noone can really confirm or deny that this is the case. Rhia simply is Mr Stanton’s daughter from one of his previous marriages, which can help to explain physical differences (takes after her mum) and again, just makes the whole explanation easier. but, yknow...... she still doesn’t exist.

THATS where team whatsit come in! theyre essentially a mafia, and the cover group is all about community protection. it makes sense that they could pull some strings and get a unovan contact to create identity papers for Rhia that can then be used to apply for [Region we’re in] Citizenship, allowing her to go to school and all that Funky Business. this does mean, however, that either the Doc or Rhia owes team whatsit a favour. a BIG favour. shits fucking difficult, yo. Unovan contacts are hard to come by.

as the Doc is already in team whatsit, as one of its admins, it falls to Rhia to ‘make up for the investment’. hence, when shes a lil older (bearing n mind that she as Ebony ceased to exist when she was like, 14) she joins team whatsit against her wishes because she is in their debt and she wants to repay it as quickly as possible so she can just exist. ofc, you dont ‘get out’ of a mafia, thats not how mafias work. but thats what she thinks, and thats what the Doc thinks too. both of them think that if she just does a good job, she’ll be allowed to just. exit. whoops. the Doc is a bit naive. he sorta has to be for his character to remotely work as a part of team whatsit.

but yea. Rhia’s in Team Whatsit because shes indebted to them for allowing her to live her life as Rhia Stanton, Unovan living in [Region]. of course, the ISSUE is that she doesn’t look or sound Unovan, unlike Mr Stanton. again, they probably explain it as the wife (the og Mrs Stanton) being from [Region], plus the fact that the current Mrs Stanton (remember, the Doc’s wife’s sister) is from [Region], and its like, yea, she’s really assimilated or whatever. PLUS, after they figured out the cover story, they actually did go and visit Unova (which was already planned and this just lined up) and Rhia was able to absorb some Unovan culture. she fucking loves it.

I chose Unova specifically because of the Battle Subway. i think Rhia would love it. since she’s disillusioned with the Pokemon League, she seeks alternatives. stuff like Battle Cafes and the Battle Maison. Pokemon Frontier, Pokeathlon even. when shes older (and when shes ‘free’ haha) she’d probably go on a lil world wide tour to all these alternative places of Elite Trainers and just go to fucking town. god she’d looooove it.

the fact she thinks she can ‘get out’ also serves to explain why she’s got as much influence as she does and essentially serves as a 4th admin (with Doc, CEO and Small Fry). because she’s trying hard to do the best job she can so she can get out quicker, repay her debt faster, yknow. you feel it? yea.

i just think this works better than my original idea, which was that Rhia was pestering the family about repaying them, and that the Doc blurted it out to the CEO who suggested she join Team Whatsit. because that’d require the CEO to be a nice person who would be approachable about family issues. which she isnt. the CEO is just sorta weird. i mean, Rhia probably WORKS for her, on the official, she’s an employee of the front company and she does the security shit. but it wouldnt make sense for the Doc to vent to CEO about his family issues and it doesn’t make sense for him to then agree to CEO’s idea that Rhia join team whatsit. i mean, in the end, it probably WAS CEO’s idea that Rhia join team whatsit, but in less of a ‘friendly recommendation between colleagues’ way and a more ‘someone has to pay the debt’ way, if you feel me there.

Also because im 90% sure that the Doc would never interact with CEO anyway???? he’s not an employee of the front company. they’ve nothing personally in common. CEO is sorta weird. they only interact professionally in Team Whatsit, and never outside. so. yknow...... yea. plus its probably safer if the major players (Doc CEO the leader guy and Small Fry) dont publicly associate anyway. to keep the authorities guessing. the authorities catch CEO, and nothing in anything she has would link to Doc, Leader or Small Fry. it’d link to Rhia through the company, and the authorities are likely to investigate all people in the company, but not everyone IN the company is in Team Whatsit. there are genuine workers in it. its just ran by Team Whatsit members and a lot of its personnel and volunteers are team whatsit. thats just how it works.

this works good, though. still need to work out what her original name was, though. (ive decided that Rhia as a name is completely unrelated to who she was before. like she just straight up reinvented herself. Rhia Stanton, Unovan born, [Region] raised.) it wont be Ebony, because while i like the name, id also like for every main character’s names to start with different letters. writing convention. so since i already named Elliot and wont rename him unless the ground gives way, she needs a different name. possibly one dripping with symbolism.
