E1610! Miles Morales sends you voice memos every single day. Though he's very much a Facetime guy, he knows he can't be on call with you every waking hour (even though he really wants to!). You'll get voice memos every single morning and night with the occasional one or two sprinkled in throughout the day. They typically last around 3-4 minutes, but if he's feeling really chatting, you'll end up with a mini-podcast. Take notes if you can't remember everything because he adores it when you respond to everything he said.

E1610! Miles Morales who was hesitant to tell you he was Spider-Man because of what your reaction may be. He's worried that you'll be scared of him or break up with him because you can't handle the responsibility. But once he does tell you and you're still here, his mouth is like a waterfall and he's telling you all that he's been through as Spider-Man.

E1610! Miles Morales who loves to take naps with you, a lot. It's not uncommon for you to be chilling in your room when he opens your window and beckons you over to your bed to snuggle with him. He doesn't mind who ends up being big or little spoon, as long as he gets to sleep holding you in some way.

E1610! Miles Morales who loves having matching sneakers with you. He's always so excited when a new shoe drops and he can snag some for the both of you. Bonus if you have matching outfits with them too. Yes, it makes you look like a cheesy couple but that's his main goal. He'll get mildly upset if he loses a sneaker when he changes into Spider-Man, but it becomes more extreme if they're a pair you brought him/have matching with him.

E1610! Miles Morales that is still as awkward and goofy as the day you met him, with no sign of stopping. He'll still get a little flustered when you flirt with him and gets embarrassed when he remembers how he first tried to pull you. Somedays he doesn't understand why you agreed to go out with him but he knows you wouldn't change it for the world.

“Babe! Have you seen my comb?! I can’t find it in the bathroom!” Your voice, that was clearly in distress, rung in his ears from down the hall. To which he began looking around.

“It’s not on your dresser?” Miles asked back, still looking for your missing comb in the living room. You paused, stepping out into the hallway for him to see you.

Your hair, not even halfway done and all over the place. Parts of your hair springing out into different directions. And from just the look on your face he knew he had something wrong.

“Nigga what? You don’t think i looked there already?” For a second he just stood there, honestly shocked at your words. And you went back into the bathroom, loud music now coming from that room. After a second he went back to looking, his feelings kinda hurt by your overly harsh words. After some looking he was able to find your comb behind a pillow on the couch.

When he made it to the bathroom of which you were in, Miles stood there for just a second, watching you. You looked frustrated, and your hair looked worse than before. Your hands worked in your hair, and he could see your biceps out and flexed because you wore a white wife beater. The sight made the boy flustered, his face turning red. Upon seeing his reflection in the mirror, you stopped what you were doing, letting your hands drop to your sides.

“Here you go, i found it under the pillow…” from there your face instantly lit up, seeming like a thousand fireworks had just went off. Quickly grabbing the comb from his hands, you thanked him with a kiss, and quick hug.

“ ‘M sorry for yellin’ at you, thank you love.” Your boyfriend stood awestruck, his face heating up and turning red more. There was something about you, whether it be be the muscle you had, or how beautiful you look when you smiled at him, he doesn’t know. But as he watched you mumble the song that played, and part your hair, he fell harder then he already had a long time ago.

rant bc I’m tired of the same few songs I see w/ readers x characters 😓

Alright so ik this is one sided and self indulgent but sometimes I wonder whenever when I read character x reader it’s always the same songs that the character listens to (rock, new jeans, k-pop, Melanie Martinez alt bands, tv girl, etc.) why can’t the reader have more options on music? There’s way more music that exists than just the same few genres/songs, (including R&B other than just SZA and hip hop other than Tyler the Creator) as a person who would literally die for R&B it’s like nobody knows other artists than just SZA and it honestly makes me feel like the talented musicians other than SZA that are in R&B/Hip-Hop never get talked about (Brent Faiyaz, Summer Walker, Doja Cat, Chris Brown, Jhené Aiko, PartyNextDoor, Kalid, etc) like the reader is supposed to be for everyone, not just a select group/audience. 😭 Don’t get me wrong I listen to rock and sometimes alt bands, so I’m not tryna to be hypocritical when I say this kinda stuff.

js to let you know also I’m not hating on the people who do only talk about the select few genres, you do you boo 😈 but if you are making x reader with a music tastes that varies on then just alt music or k-pop, it does exist. I just don’t feel like poc artists aren’t seen and if they are, it’s only black readers. People worldwide like poc/ R&B and Hip-Hop artists and it shouldn’t be just pushed aside with almost every fanfic including the reader liking or talking about music.

Like isnt reader supposed to be for everyone?… it’s the stereotypical white y/n all over again

(except the jjk and the atsv/itsv fandom yall got it down packed 🫶🏾)

This is why I’m boutta start writing my own stuff fr 😔
