Hi love your au tell me is there lore to your au or is it just romance

so with the tadc Cafe! au how this will go it will be like a "typical" slice of life anime, think Wotakoi of K-on. I want the story to be episodic and kinda silly with times where I will focus on a character and explore their backstory in my story.

Romance is just something I'm adding because I like it.

this isn't like other AU with an overarching story/mystery to figure out. it's just watching these character's normal lives together centered on their work place.

(sorry this took me a bit my life's been busy as of recently but more to come soon)

Are you planning to release this AU in the form of a comic book? Or in the form of small pieces answering our questions?

I'm kinda planning on doing both.

I will be answering asks that you all send here and I will be (slowly) rolling out a comic on the overarching story that's going on as well

so please keep sending ask, I will get to them eventually (school is just putting me through it rn) and look out for when I start posting about the official comic.

(also I may make use of my Kofi for those who want to see doodles and early sneak peaks)

I finished with this animatic of Jax and Peri together. The story behind this is that Jax falls in love with Pirouette despite both of them hating each other. So (as per the song's lyrics) he continuously dreams about her and being with her but when he wakes he has to come back to the reality that:

she (probably) would never like him.

hi guys, it's been a minute

I'm not dead or anything, college has started back up and I haven't been able to draw anything for the cafe! au

but I do have things planned and I will be answering asks too. I just gotta find the time lol.

What about the dark sides...

I mean, in such cafes, some visitors often harass or make disgusting compliments to the staff.. is it in your AU. and if there is, how does the staff handle it? (do they complain to someone, do they have to answer and deal with it alone, who deals with it, or do they call someone? do they get paid extra for such inconveniences, etc.)

not to worry there's a protocol for these "situations"

Peri used to beat up any guys that were being creeps but now they just sick Jax on them

I am nearly done with all the Info cards for my TADC au I've been cooking up, here's another lil sneak peak at it. I'll probably start posting stuff for it tomorrow. :P
