Made a little model sheet for reference for my Chant animatic in the works! What do you guys think?

The labels are for their respective MBTI types; INFP, ISTP, ESFP and ESTJ. Here are some character design notes…

Orpheus: i think I could’ve exaggerated his very lanky look more but I kinda wanted to give him a “sweet farmhand” look, so I gave him some lean muscle!

Eurydice: Watching Atlantis: The Lost Empire made me reconsider her design. Initially, I saw her as “square” but I realized how unstable she is in Act I. She never stays in one place and I wanted the design to reflect her lack of stability and confidence. Her clothes are too big, like she just got them somewhere a long time ago and never bothered tailoring them.

Persephone: The second hardest to design. In the musical, Hades’ desire for her is what drives the show. I wanted her to have an “idgaf” energy but a mischievous knowledge of her power over Hades, and by proxy, the Underworld. I tried to give her a gamine essence like Amber Gray and I think it worked! I also gave her more tanned skin and hazel eyes because I figured she’d inherit it from Zeus. Who, in the Hadestown Universe, I see as having the same traits.

Hades: I couldn’t decide on how to draw him or his suit. He’s my first real attempt at a big, strong, imposing character. I don’t think it was bad for an attempt! But it’s definitely a design that I’ll have to get used to drawing haha
