Some explanation to Rosie's role as the painted doll bc I don't remember if i ever posted about it here: I know Ive already posted about vaggie being June in this AU which is definitely still the case, but the painted doll scenes from the first movie felt like they didn't fit vaggie, and the scene with the kissing booth where the painted doll bites off john's ear was giving major rosie vibes to me, so she's taking over most of the scenes from the first movie. So technically speaking the painted doll and June are 2 different characters in this with some overlap, which balances out Cora and the agent fusing into one character for lute I guess cdsbjcds. I think this helps with keeping the characterizations truer to what they are in hazbin, plus to me it would help the second movie's reveal of june towards the end make a bit more sense.

I'm still thinking about Essek risking himself in front of the goddamn Bright Queen and the people he betrayed in his former life, to save Ashton, who he barely knows when it comes down to it. His first transformation of self in C2 was being willing to risk himself for the Mighty Nein, but he has GROWN and kept growing! He will help where he can, for purposes greater than himself and people beyond his circle! His no longer just the humble selfish creature he once was. Proud of him.
